Thank you for your interest in Cannonsburg to be a possible selection for your wedding venue! Cannonsburg Ski Area, located in Belmont, Michigan, offers a range of rustic, yet cultivated event spaces on its sprawling grounds. In the summer months, activities such as hiking, zip lining, MTB biking, and movies on the lawn are offered, as well other fun activities such as skiing, snowboarding, and tubing during the winter months. We are not available for weddings November-March. Cannonsburg's rustic elegance creates an atmosphere perfect for your dream wedding! Here at our venue we have the option of both indoor and outdoor ceremonies, as well as three different reception rooms, each with beautiful views. Also, there is a deck area available to rent for an additional cost with any of our spaces. In house, we have an amazing culinary team and a chef who can create a delicious menu for your special day! The staff of Cannonsburg Ski Area is attentive to the couple’s needs and happily assists celebrations in the lodge or outdoors on our beautiful property. We provide set up/clean up for events and exclusive on-site catering/bar services. The bar management also offers couples fun options such as signature drinks, a bloody mary, or mimosa bar. Cannonsburg could not have been a better location for our fall wedding. We held our ceremony on the concrete pad in front of the ski hills, and our reception was upstairs in the Cedar Lounge. Both were absolutely stunning. I will admit, during dinner it did get warm in there and the sun was shining directly in our guests faces for a bit, but we were all grateful for 70+ degrees on a late October day. The women’s bathroom was kind of messy when we arrived and a bridesmaid had to do some last minute cleaning, but that was no big deal. The food was AMAZING, we are still getting compliments from guests saying it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. The Executive Chef, James, was so easy to work with and is truly talented at what he does. Our bartenders and waitstaff were also phenomenal. The Haunted Forest was happening during our reception but did not impede on our day in any way. Our space was completely private and guests loved being able to go out to the back deck to enjoy fire pits and s’mores. All in all, Cannonsburg made our wedding day better than we could have imagined. I absolutely recommend them to any couple looking for a unique, cozy wedding venue.

Venue was beautiful and the food was delicious! Only minor complaints, we had our ceremony outside and a large tent was set up for their event the next day which we were not told about and it impeded our processional. Also we had our reception in the Cedar Lounge upstairs and it was unbelievably warm in there. Thermostat said 80 when it was in the 60s outside. Other than those minor complaints, we had a great wedding with amazing food!

Alexa and Cannonsburg Ski Area was a great choice for my wedding. Extremely accommodating venue and coordination. A perfect space for our ceremony and reception!

I just had my wedding at Cannonsburg at the beginning of August and it was a dream come true! The new manager Hans is amazing, he helped me with any request I had and was ready to help the day of decorating as well if we needed any other tables or anything. I absolutely loved it here! I highly recommend the place to any other bride!

Loved having our ceremony at Cannonsburg. The ski hill in the background provided a beautiful back drop. (it was September... no snow!!) :)\rThe Reception was perfect, plenty of space and a great value!\rEveryone loved the food and we had a great time
