Canopy by Hilton Jersey City Arts Distract is a vibrant lifestyle hotel and wedding venue located in downtown Jersey City, New Jersey. This beautiful venue is close to numerous restaurants, art galleries, breweries, distilleries, and transportation that will take you into the heart of New York City. The staff invites you to take a complimentary Canopy Bike to explore the area or hop aboard the PATH train to get around. When you check in for your wedding weekend, you will even receive a local gift to welcome you and your loved ones. Canopy by Hilton Jersey City Arts District has a number of event spaces where you can host your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The largest of these is The Gallery, where you will be treated to sweeping views of your surroundings through floor-to-ceiling windows. This room can seat up to 100 guests for dinner and is equipped with state-of-the-art AV technology. Cocktails can also be enjoyed downstairs in the bar. This chic setting features a marble top bar, hardwood floors, and elegant furnishings that will complement your event’s aesthetic. The Terrace Garden can also accommodate small ceremonies of up to 20 people. This outdoor patio is accented with brick walls and a lush wall of foliage that makes for a dreamy backdrop to your exchange of vows. After the celebration, you and your guests are invited to stay overnight in the hotel’s comfortable and spacious overnight accommodations. You and your partner can reserve a suite for a more lavish experience, which includes a living area, bathrobes, and cozy socks. Here, you and your wedding party can prepare together ahead of the big walk down the aisle. All rooms and suites come with free WiFi, 55-inch TVs, built-in fridge drawers, and plush bedding designed for Canopy by Hilton Jersey City Arts District. Wedding rentals also come with tables and chairs, linens, flatware and glassware, and help with setup and cleanup.

I had my dream wedding here! Where do I even start…My fiancé (now husband) and I wanted a hotel venue for our wedding – one that was modern, sophisticated, beautiful, and clean. The moment we walked in the Canopy we knew this was the right place. On top of that, we loved the food menu for the reception. The planning process was very smooth. We worked with Karina and Martin to go over the details of the reception – from the food, to schedule, hotel rooms, etc. They were such a pleasure to work with from the start to the execution of the event. Everything on the day of the wedding went seamlessly. The space was gorgeous, great drinks, and the food was absolutely delicious. Our guests still talk about the food and how it’s the best food they had at a wedding. Last, but certainly not least, the staff at the Canopy were so nice, friendly, and helpful. Our guests really appreciated how nice the whole staff was!I am so thankful and happy to have had my wedding here. I’d like to thank the team at Canopy for making our wedding day go so smoothly and beautifully!

I had a contract with Lokal Eatery by the waterfront in Jersey City, but they had issues and literally canceled on me 3 weeks before my surprise proposal. I was stressing out. Luckily, I came across Canopy JC and connected with Karina Egidio, who was the event coordinator at Canopy JC. She was amazing! She displayed a high level of professionalism and overall had a genuinely optimistic, comforting personality that allowed me to feel relaxed and blessed to have found her. She explained what can be offered at Canopy JC and even accommodated my many requests such as timing, headcount, bar packages, etc. She was even present on the night of the event to help prepare and guide my family and friends that were waiting for me and my fiance to arrive! I wish I found her sooner because then I would've been able to tell any guy that finding a venue and planning a surprise proposal is the easiest thing to plan for in the world. Thank you so much, Karina and Canopy JC, for guiding and supporting me through the planning and coordinating of my surprise proposal - it was truly a beautiful night!
