This minimalist, contemporary space was designed to be personalized by you and your partner for your wedding day. Acting as a blank canvas, you can tailor the elegant space to suit your own wedding day style and needs. Just 20 minutes from Austin, Canyonwood Ridge is enveloped by rolling hills and ridge-top views, lending themselves to an incredible backdrop for your wedding photos. Your special day can get off to a relaxing start in the beautiful get-ready-suite, a spacious and bright area for those finishing touches. Your ceremony can take place outdoors in the manicured great lawn with their incredible views, or in the large chapel. A covered patio provides a lovely atmosphere for a cocktail reception before moving into the romantic reception hall which features high wood-beamed ceilings and is flooded with natural light. The venue is wheelchair accessible and has ample parking for every guests' convenience. An onsite bar can be served and stocked with your favorites, from beer to an elegant champagne toast. You are given the freedom to bring in whatever outside vendors you want to serve your event, and venue staff are happy to give recommendations on their personal favorites. This team goes all-in to give you the wedding day of your dreams in true southern style.

The renderings are astounding! And the venue site is amazing! Its amazing to watch it all come together! Amanda and AJ are the best and I can't wait to get married here! Next time you are in Dripping Springs on 290, check out this breath taking venue!\r\r\rUpdate! I had the great pleasure of being the first wedding here. Let me tell you, AJ and Amanda busted butt to get it done and WOW, it was perfect! The barn doors were great to separate ceremony space from reception area, bride and grooms suites were gorgeous, and everything ran flawlessly! I can not thank everyone here enough! We hired bartenders through the venue, outside caterers, a DJ and a live band! we had plenty of room for our large guest list (230) and we had the best time! The worst part is that it's over and I don't get to spent any more time at this breath taking venue.

Beautiful venue, we got so many compliments! It's huge, you get it all day, the bridal suite is also very large and has a great area for hair and makeup vendors. A few of our vendors even told us that it was their favorite venue to get to work at. All around, it was one of the best decisions we made about our wedding.

CWR was the most beautiful venue ever! We got so many compliments on the location, the view, the interior, the decoration, the altar, and pretty much everything else! The venue itself is adaptable so you can choose to have the ceremony outside or inside, and there are endless options for you to make your vision a reality. I am so happy with the way our wedding turned out, and it would not have been what it was if we did not have it at Canyonwood Ridge!

CWR was the most beautiful venue ever! We got so many compliments on the location, the view, the interior, the decoration, the altar, and pretty much everything else! Such a beautiful venue! We were married there earlier this year. Our coordinator was Ethnee, she was amazing and works at the venue!!! She helped out on our wedding day with things I was not going to have time to do, but she came in and got them done! It was great not having to worry about those things. She's very professional and was such a pleasure to work with! If you get the chance, hire her as your wedding coordinator! The venue itself I think speaks for itself, it's just beautiful, great place for pictures and all around great views. People that work there were very helpful with everything!! Highly recommend this venue!! 👍🏽

My wedding at Canyonwood Ridge went seamlessly! It was a beautiful day at a beautiful venue. My guests loved the indoor ceremony and outdoor cocktail hour. It was even foggy and a little rainy on the day and the pictures still came out so beautiful! Not to mention, the staff was so accommodating to me and my guests on the wedding day.

My wedding at Canyonwood Ridge went seamlessly! It was a beautiful day at a beautiful venue. My guests loved the indoor ceremony and outdoor cocktail hour. Our wedding day was perfection. My husband and I set out to select our venue but we didn’t even need to see anything after Canyonwood Ridge. It was exactly our vision, with breathtaking hill country , a gorgeous chapel, plenty of space and lovely design in the reception hall (that fireplace?! those windows!), the perfect bridal suite, even an extra grooms suite. We invested in the full planning package with Ethnee and her team at Amanda Blue Events at CWR and they delivered. I can’t possibly summarize everything they did right. We told Ethnee our priorities from the start and she made them happen. From where to save and where to splurge to selecting minority vendors to expertly supporting us/managing unfortunate family dynamics. Ethnee has wonderful connections and relationships with her vendors, an obvious talent for event management, and unmistakable talent for putting bouquets together - she revamped my bridal bouquet from a stiff cascade into something exquisite and elegant. I even panicked a couple weeks before the wedding about having the happy hour fully outside (in July) and Ethnee happily drafted a revised plan to accommodate a fully indoor event. Then on the morning-of, the weather was actually perfect and she asked (without inducing ANY stress) if I wanted her to move the plan back outside for the happy hour (to which I gave an enthusiastic yes) and she made it happen like it was a breeze. We got feedback from our guests and wedding party that she was phenomenal and more than one person asked if she was military for how incredibly she runs a team. I just could not be more grateful for this woman. If you’re getting married, do your best to get Amanda Blue Events on your team.

We absolutely loved having our wedding at Canyonwood Ridge! Having the option of using the inside chapel or the archway outside was extremely helpful for our wedding--it ended up raining the day of and we were able to change the ceremony location a few hours before the ceremony start time. Even on a gloomy day, the venue was absolutely gorgeous and contributed to one of the best (if not the best) days of our lives!

The biggest requirement to securing a venue for me was a space that was going to have two separate places for a ceremony AND reception that didn’t require a breakdown. Canyonwood ticked off this box and so many more!First, I want to comment on how SPACIOUS the venue is. I’m not talking about just the stunning high ceilings of the ceremony site or the new expansive bridal suite - the grounds itself are BIG. I visited other venues that were pretty but felt cramped because you could see (in)visible fencing. Canyonwood has a great lawn with a wonderful view of the Hill Country for your guests to be wandering around during cocktail hour and plentiful parking.- Other favorite parts of the venue / small details- The windows in the ceremony site face to greenery so you aren’t looking at a parking lot or a sidewalk of some sort if you choose to use it- The trees on the grounds hold their leaves all year round - Access to the venue until midnight (usually meaning an 11PM send off) so you’re not kicked out just as the party is getting started- Huge bridal suite - this is relatively new and so incredibly gorgeous! The bridal suite now includes multiple chairs for HMU, even more storage space, and a private bathroom- A little nook by the mantle which is perfect for a cake table (in my opinion)I had the opportunity to work with Kelsey from Canyonwood Ridge’s wedding planning team alongside my own and I am so grateful to have had her through the process. She was always transparent, punctual, and responsive. Though it got frustrating at times during the decor process to be reminded of Canyonwood’s rules I am so glad she was there to do so to ensure that our security deposit would be returned. Furthermore, Kelsey took care of me (the bride) more than anyone else during the day of - she was discrete, moved quickly, and so supportive. Thank you Kelsey for being an absolute gem. If you book Canyonwood, you guaranteed have a gorgeous place to have your wedding. It honestly doesn’t need more decoration, the space itself is that beautiful!

Amanda coordinated my wedding at the most beautiful, picturesque venue, Canyonwood Ridge and went above and beyond on everything. Most people talk about how so many things went wrong on their wedding day but I cannot think of anything that went wrong, thanks to Amanda! She worked with EVERY SINGLE vendor to make sure everyone was on the same page and asked detailed questions so that the day could run as smoothly as possible. Additionally, she made all of my immediate family and wedding party feel at ease during rehearsals so that everyone could relax and enjoy the night. Canyonwood Ridge provided a spectacular venue for my daughter's wedding earlier this month. The venue and the staff were perfect and very accommodating. Canyonwood Ridge is an absolutely stunning, incredible venue that is run by a best-in-class team who go above/beyond to make sure your vision is everything you dreamed of. We originally chose Canyonwood because of its one-of-a-kind ambience and having a separate 300-capacity chapel and reception area, no need to flip or get married outside in the heat (even though there is a gorgeous outdoor option). Amanda leads the venue & event planning team and her whole group of women were incredibly kind, detailed, respectful, communicative and just reliable - everything you wish-for in a venue team! The venue's new bridal suite is also stunning, able to fit 15+, and has a separate bathroom for changing/bustling/and priority for the bride + her bridal party. They also have a bar package that allows you to bring your own liquor to save on cost. Can't say enough great things about Canyonwood!!! Would recommend them always, 10/10.

Canyonwood Ridge was an incredible place to get married. I knew it was my dream venue from my first visit. The interior is beautiful and the view outside is amazing. You can’t go wrong with choosing Canyonwood! We chose it for the indoor chapel option for a July wedding. They were so helpful with any questions that we had. They recommended great vendors. And their inhouse coordinating, Amanda Blue Events, made our day run perfectly. Alexa did a great job. I went into the day confident that she would take care of anything and ensure the wedding ran well - and it did! You cannot go wrong with Canyonwood Ridge.

VenueThere are not enough words to describe how beautiful Canyonwood Ridge is. Canyonwood was the 4th stop on our venue tour list, and after touring we didn’t even think we needed to go anywhere else. There’s 2 ceremony spaces (1 indoor, 1 outdoor). We decided to use the indoor chapel space since our wedding was in June, and it could not have been more perfect. Reception tables, cocktail tables, ceremony and reception chairs, are all provided and if you use a preferred caterer, setup and teardown is all included which is a plus. The bridal suite and grooms room are plenty spacious. For reference, we had 10 people in the room while getting and hair and makeup done. The reception space allows for any set up and the floor is perfect for dancing, and the lighting at Canyonwood is perfect for pictures.One of the big things about Canyonwood is being able to put greenery up on the chandeliers. They modified their policy to where you could only do it with a preferred florist and we did not contract with a preferred florist; however, Canyonwood reached out about a month before and asked us if we wanted to split the cost of the greenery with the couple whose wedding was the day before ours. We ended doing this and it was amazing, and we’re so happy that we were able to do it, but note that is almost $2000 to do the greenery. Canyonwood offers several bar packages however you are responsible for bringing the hard liquor. You are required to use Royal Fig for bartenders which is a bit frustrating as you are locked in to whatever they charge versus being able to shop around. The bar packages themselves are reasonably priced though. We did the beer, wine, and champagne package with hard liquor we did not receive any complaints about the beer, wine, or champagne. The bartenders did a great job throughout the night and had champagne ready for our toasts accordingly. We worked with Kelsey leading up to our wedding and although she forgot to send the questionnaires out in a timely manner, everything worked out just fine and she really didn’t need to do anything the day of. There were no emergencies. We would HIGHLY recommend this venue to any couple for their big day.

She was incredibly organized, was able to pull some strings for us with the vendors, and made everything stress free. Getting to just show up at he venue in our PJs, get ready there, and be there the whole day made it a breeze. Our wedding was everything I could have ever imagined.

From the minute we toured Canyonwood Ridge we knew this was our venue. From the stunning outside ceremony site that overlooks the Texas Hill Country to the beautiful indoor chapel Canyonwood Ridge had everything we were looking for. The staff was always friendly and they were prompt with their response to our many questions. They offer so much flexibility with hiring vendors. Getting married in May in Texas can be a huge gamble with the weather. We originally planned to get married outside under the trellis, but the weather was showing a thunderstorm at the time of the ceremony. So we ended up having to go without back up plan of using the Chapel. It ended up being the most beautiful ceremony and I wished we had chosen the Chapel as our plan A from the beginning. Canyonwood was our dream venue and I wish we could do our wedding over and over again. When we toured the venue, Amanda gave us our tour and we ended up hiring her as our wedding planner. It was truly the best decision we ever made. Amanda was such a big help throughout the planning process and helped this indecisive bride narrow down details and select vendors. Our day went off without a hitch and it was all thanks to Amanda! She was attentive, a calming presence, and helped so much throughout the process. I had zero stress on my wedding day and I owe so much of that to Amanda. She was a dream to work with and I would recommend her to any and everyone who is getting married at Canyonwood Ridge!

I want to also write another review specifically for Amanda Blue Events! We worked with Amanda for month of wedding coordinating and she was an absolute vital part of our wedding! Before the wedding, she answered our questions promptly, offered her expertise and helped us decide on vendors, shared with us so many organizational tools such as planning spreadsheets, decoration ideas, and more. During the wedding, she made sure everything was taken care of. If there were bigger issues (which things happen day of!), she came to me with a question AND a solution. There were other smaller issues that she didn’t even bother me with because she just solved them beforehand and didn’t let me worry about it. She and her team helped set up so many of our decorations beforehand and helped our vision come to life! Everything ran smoothly and she kept everyone on track. We did end up running a bit over and she accommodated us and let us stay a bit longer. There wasn’t a problem too big or small, and she let me bounce so many ideas off of her. Communication was efficient, professionalism was superb, and Amanda as a person is just the sweetest, most thoughtful human being ever. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a smooth, easy, and fun wedding! She truly helped make our wedding day so special and a completely blissful dream.

We toured so many places in Dripping Springs, and this place had the most stunning outdoor ceremony space overlooking the hill country and a beautiful indoor chapel! Canyonwood Ridge was the first venue that my husband and I fell in love with when we were looking at venues online, and was the very last one we toured. Every time we toured a venue prior, we still compared it to the magic that might be Canyonwood. Whenever we finally were able to see it in person, we instantly fell in love and knew it was the one for us! The venue itself is so gorgeous that it hardly needs any additional decor to make it feel like a beautiful setting. The chapel in itself is hands down one of the most gorgeous spots I've ever seen. Canyonwood Ridge was the perfect wedding venue! Everything from the chapel ceremony space to the reception hall was beautiful. The staff were amazing to work with as well, and if you’re getting married here, you HAVE to book Amanda Blue Events coordination. Ethnee, our month-of coordinator, was phenomenal! I could not have imagined having our wedding without her. Everything ran so smoothly on our wedding day, leaving us without any stress or worries. I had my wedding here in December 2022 and I am SO pleased with how it turned out! An indoor wedding was a priority for us to not have to deal with the hassle of worrying about the weather. CWR's beautiful indoor ceremony space is really what sold us - few venues in Central Texas offer a gorgeous indoor space like CWR. We used the patio outside for our cocktail hour which was great for picture taking and gave kiddos a place to run around. The staff at CWR were very so kind and helpful from our initial tour to even the day after our wedding. The guest capacity that CWR is able to accommodate was also a big plus for us since I come from a large Mexican family and didn't feel restricted on who we could invite. It was very freeing to have the flexibility to bring in our vendors like our caterer and our own desserts. The bride and groom suites seemed pretty small on the initial tour but really the day of they were not an issue and were quite cozy. CWR's reasonable price and rare (if any) hidden fees is what sold us on this incredible venue. I will always recommend CWR to engaged couples.We also went with their onsite coordinating company (Amanda Blue Events) and were blown away with how our coordinator Alexa went above and beyond for us! We had our wedding after Christmas when there were a ton flight cancellations. Alexa was out of state and rented a car to drive back to Dripping Springs when her flight got cancelled. Despite all the stress of driving across the country, she made it back in time and give us a stress free wedding day and we could not have been more thankful for her!

Canyonwood Ridge is one of the most beautiful venues in the Austin area, so much so that we didn’t even tour anywhere else! For an April wedding, our plan A was an outdoor ceremony and the hill country backdrop at the venue was so beautiful. Living in Texas and knowing Texas weather, it was extremely important to find a venue with an equally beautiful indoor option as I didn’t want to feel sad if it did end up as a Plan B indoor ceremony. Canyonwood checked both those boxes and so much more! The preferred vendors we used were amazing and our onsite day of contact ended up being AJ, the owner of the venue. They are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful accommodating some requests, making sure your day is truly the one you’ve always dreamed of. It was the perfect space and I couldn’t be happier with our venue choice!

We also used their planning company, Amanda Blue Events, and Amanda was the absolute greatest to work with. So organized, professional, put us all at ease, and was a breath of fresh air the day of the wedding. We could not have done it without her. We had our ceremony in the chapel, and I loved it so much, such gorgeous views and perfect sunlight. I loved that they have enough chairs for ceremony and reception, leaving room for a quick transition. I cannot say enough good things. Canyonwood was the very first venue we toured, and no matter where else we visited we kept coming back to it! The option of both an indoor and outdoor ceremony spot (both absolutely beautiful by the way) is a great stress reliever since weather can be tricky. We had our ceremony in the chapel, and made use of the outdoor space for cocktail hour and lawn games. I really loved that you have a whole 15 hrs of access (9a-12a) allowing you to be flexible with your timeline. The staff is also amazing and extremely responsive, professional and efficient.I also cannot recommend the in-house coordinator Amanda with Amanda Blue Events enough! Her planning guide and checklists were so thorough and helpful, especially for someone Type A like me! Once she came on around the 45 day mark, she was SO on top of everything and made sure nothing was missed. On the day of, I was able to relax and enjoy my wedding because Amanda was on top of absolutely everything. She kept us apprised of the timeline and what was coming up, easing my mind so I could focus on the most important things. Highly recommend, especially if you are getting married at Canyonwood!

Canyonwood Ridge was perfect. I could not imagine our wedding at a more beautiful venue. We got really lucky with the weather, so everyone got to appreciate all of what the venue has to offer. The sunset at the end of the day hits the hill country at just the right angle, and the trees and landscaping are stunning. The people that worked there were so kind and accommodating, and every room that you enter is spotless. I also worked with Amanda Hepner, with Amanda Blue Events, as my 6-week coordinator, and I truly believe I would have fallen apart without her. She made me and my family feel so taken care of and secure when we had a medical emergency just a couple of days before the wedding, leaving us unsure of whether the big day would even happen. She was the most incredible, stable, and consistent person in the midst of all of that chaos, and if I could give her 10 stars, I would with absolutely no hesitation. If you choose Canyonwood Ridge and Amanda Blue Events, you are setting yourself up to have the most magical day with the least amount of stress. I highly recommend Canyonwood Ridge and Amanda Blue Events to be a part of your big day!

BOOK IT! Canyonwood was one of the last venues we look at when doing our venue search. We had probably looked at maybe 5-7 total of all different kinds: from an old home in downtown Austin, to a ranch/farm inspired venue in New Braunfels. When we got to Canyonwood Ethnee showed us around and was so friendly, kind and answered all of our questions - she knew her stuff! Canyonwood ended up being a mixture of two other venues we liked but weren't completely sold on. Canyonwood was beautiful and honestly, we didn't do a lot of decorations because we just didn't care to spend the money and Canyonwood itself was already beautiful. Most of guests were blown away by the venue and had so many amazing things to say about it. When we heard all the positive feedback, we knew we had definitely made the right choice. The rest of the staff I had worked with were great, kind and courteous. Please if you're even considering this place just do yourself a favor and BOOK!

I actually saw Canyonwood Ridge online several years ago and dreamt about getting married there someday. When scheduling venue tours, I knew I needed to add them to my list. After visiting, it only felt right to get married here. What I love about CWR is that they don’t make booking with them feel like a business transaction, we booked them 2 years in advance and they were incredibly hospitable and helpful from day 1. Not to mention that view!! The venue is large enough to accommodate a long guest list, but is also perfect for an intimate celebration, which is what we had. I couldn’t have imagined getting married anywhere else.

I cannot say enough how beautiful of a venue Canyonwood Ridge is both inside and outside. My fiancé and I toured several venues in the Central Texas area and one thing we noticed is that a lot of the venues had beautiful outdoor spaces, but when it came to the inside, it fell short. Canyonwood has taken the time to make sure that their indoor space is every bit as beautiful as the outside. In fact, we decided to have an indoor ceremony after touring the space and held out cocktail hour outside so that guests could see the beautiful views of the Hill Country. The staff at Canyonwood was so friendly and helpful, and they were always so patient with emails of questions. The venue has an excellent team of preferred vendors that they work with often. This is how we found our DJ, caterer, photographer/videographer, florist, ice cream and cake caterers. They also allowed us to bring in outside vendors that weren't on their preferred list, which wasn't the cased for every venue. Another thing that I appreciated was how much time you get at the venue on your wedding day. We could get in at 9 a.m. and had to have everything cleaned up by midnight. This allowed the bridal party to set up at the venue first thing in the morning and not have to worry about getting ready in one place and then having to drive to the venue. Finally, I loved that there were no hidden fees in the pricing of this venue. You aren't told one price and then all of a sudden it's more to have the space longer or to use their tables and chairs. (Tables and chairs were included in the price which is also nice!) They break up cost of the venue into payments which was also helpful as we ended up booking so many vendors in the beginning and having to only put down part of the payment helped us to have money for some of our other deposits. This was such a truly beautiful venue and the staff went above and beyond to make sure that our day was as magical and stress free as possible. I promise that if you book Canyonwood Ridge you'll have the most beautiful day.

They break up cost of the venue into payments which was also helpful as we ended up booking so many vendors in the beginning and having to only put down part of the payment helped us to have money for some of our other deposits. This was such a truly beautiful venue and the staff went above and beyond to make sure that our day was as magical and stress free as possible. I promise that if you book Canyonwood Ridge you'll have the most beautiful day.

Canyonwood Ridge is absolutely beautiful! My husband and I did not actually get to tour it prior to booking as we don't live in Texas, but we honestly did not need to after looking at their pictures -- it's gorgeous!! The bridal suite was perfect to get ready in (I had 3 artists, 9 bridesmaids, and 2 moms in there comfortably), the groom's room was also very cozy with some nice couches, the chapel has these stunning big windows which everyone was obsessed with, the outdoor area for cocktail hour was grassy and overlooked the hills, and the reception area feels so warm and rustic with its fireplace and wooden beams. I absolutely loved this venue!As for planning – Amanda Blue Events was the biggest reason our wedding was the perfect day. The day we signed up for the partial planning services, the team provided all the various documents and tools needed to begin planning. Every call we had with Amanda was incredibly helpful as we learned a lot, questions were answered, and priorities / next steps were always set. For someone as indecisive as myself, I also really appreciated her opinions (which I asked for often), especially when it came to the color palette. The last few weeks leading up to the big day, Amanda was such a pro and helped us knock out so many last details. And the day of the wedding, there was not a single hiccup with our schedule, vendors, etc. – or if there was, I had no idea! Wedding planning was not easy but working with Amanda was, and I’m truly so grateful to have been able to work together.

I loved absolutely everything about working with this team and this venue! The venue itself sold me in looks, location, and every aspect offered. I worked with an in-house coordinator who was absolutely amazing & was so helpful considering she knew the ins and outs of the venue to help everything run smoothly.The venue offers \"preferred\" vendors that they have a lot of experience with to help you start your searching process which was extremely helpful for someone not sure where to even start.The only \"bad\" or \"negative\" I would say is that you cannot bring outside alcohol/liquor into the groom/bridal suites which may not be abnormal to most but any wedding I've been in, we could bring whatever we wanted into the rooms.However, with this said, we were able to get drinks through Canyonwood and served by our coordinator in the rooms so it still worked out perfectly!

Canyonwood Ridge was the perfect place for our wedding. We wanted something timeless and elegant that didn't feel too big for our 90 person guest count. All of the spaces are breathtaking, but in particular, the chapel's massive windows allowed for a ton of natural light, giving our ceremony the glowing and sunny look of a summer wedding without any of the heat. The venue itself has such a natural beauty that we felt like we didn't need to do a lot for florals and decoration either. The view off of the patio overlooking hill country made our out of town guests marvel at just how beautiful central Texas can be!Canyonwood also offers a host of coordinators and planners with Amanda Blue Events. Alexa and her team were fantastic day-of coordinators. We did a lot of the planning ourselves, but as we neared our wedding date, Alexa helped us communicate efficiently with our vendors, filled in the gaps of our wedding knowledge, and created the perfect master timeline for the day. Her expert knowledge of the venue and their guidelines also helped us make educated decisions regarding catering and decor. I can honestly say that I had the most stress-free wedding day thanks to the help of Alexa and her coordinating team! I can't recommend Canyonwood Ridge and Alexa with Amanda Blue events enough!

The staff at Canyonwood Ridge and Amanda Blue Events are a God-sent! Canyonwood Ridge was so easy to work with and is absolutely stunning! I cannot say enough amazing things about Amanda Blue Events. Our coordinator was Alexa Cole and she was amazing! Starting at our 6-week meeting, she was incredibly organized and communicative, asked all the right questions, confirmed everything with our vendors, checked in with me to make sure I wasn’t stressed, and even made a men’s and women’s bridal party timeline so that they all knew when and where to be that weekend. After our 6-week planning meeting, I felt like a weight was instantly lifted off of me. On wedding day, Amanda was our manager and made sure everything ran smoothly in the morning and Alexa took over in the afternoon making sure that the decorations were placed beautifully, that the rehearsal ran smoothly, and was apparently busy while I relaxed in the bridal suite (per my mom). Canyonwood Ridge was the perfect venue! We had a lot of out of town guests and we wanted them to experience Texas Hill Country. We loved how there was both inside/outside for the ceremony space and then a space for the reception so you don't have to flip rooms. The weather cooled down by the time of our wedding so we did the ceremony outside and cocktail hour in the chapel… guests loved taking pictures by the windows (while being warm). The venue is so aesthetically pleasing you only need minimal decor, we only had one big floral arrangement for the fireplace and our last name neon sign(other than the centerpieces). We had the fireplace running for the first part of the reception and made the atmosphere so romantic, especially during our first dance. You have to get their bar package which consists of beer, wine, and champagne. If you bring hard liquor you do get a discount pp, royal fig who bartends have the options of signature drinks which are DELICIOUS. Bar package is great for mid-big weddings because you only have to worry about purchasing hard liquor. Overall, Canyonwood Ridge was everything we could have asked for in a venue and we recommend it to EVERYONE!

Canyonwood Ridge was the first venue my husband and I visited, and we knew immediately it was the one. The layout, the two gorgeous ceremony options (the outdoor trellis and the indoor chapel with floor to ceiling windows), the exceptional reception space with big windows and a gorgeous fireplace... I couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else. The venue staff, particularly Amanda Hepner who was also our (insanely amazing) full-service planner, was just spectacular. We postponed our wedding due to COVID and the whole staff were communicative, understanding, and helpful through the process. I'm so, so grateful to everyone at Canyonwood for helping us throw the wedding of our dreams. I wish we could go back and do it all over again.

We postponed our wedding due to COVID and the whole staff were communicative, understanding, and helpful through the process. I'm so, so grateful to everyone at Canyonwood for helping us throw the wedding of our dreams. I wish we could go back and do it all over again.

My husband Michael and I had our Wedding on Jan 22, 2022. During our first consultation at Canyonwood Ridge we INSTANTLY fell in love with the greenery, hill country views, reception space and BREATHTAKING natural lighting that entered the floor to ceiling windows within the chapel. We thought we wanted an outdoor wedding but that chapel was so beautiful that we chose to have the wedding ceremony indoors. Michael and I knew we needed a wedding planner once we decided to have a Texas wedding while living overseas (I'm active duty Air Force). AMANDA HEPNER with @amandablueevents is the TRUTH. If you want your vision to come to life and want to spend your wedding day enjoying yourself, being present for every moment, and not worrying, HIRE AMANDA. After meeting with her she was extremely understanding of our situation (military couple moving out of the country) and went above and beyond to support us. She was exceptionally organized, well connected in the Austin Wedding community and introduced us to some of the best vendors who could make our vision come true. She front loaded a lot of our planning to ensure we had every key decision and memorable planning moment (food tasting, bridal fitting, etc) before we moved, then despite the 15 hour timezone difference, she would make herself available for virtual planning meetings when we were available. One of the most amazing qualities about her, was how she can literally take your vision and turn it into a very real reality within your budget. We described to her how we wanted an “enchanted” “winter” “romantic” feeling that is a very elegant and elevated experience for our guest. She accomplished this and so much more. We received so many compliments from our guest and bridal party on just how beautiful the venue, the ceremony, the reception, the venue staff and just the entire day was. They described it as “magical” and the “best wedding they’ve ever attended.” Members in my bridal party described Amanda as “on point,” “amazing” and knowing her stuff. Amanda, dissolved any anxiety I experienced, whether it was finding a talented Make-up artist who was experienced with Black and Brown complexions when I didn’t feel represented in the community, incorporating EVERY specific detail from our vision board into our actual wedding, helping us guide guests in how to navigate the Austin area, despite Michael and I residing in another country, to researching options to keep guest safe during an OMICRON COVID surge in the middle of your wedding, Amanda handled it (seriously the list goes on). She TRULY went ABOVE AND BEYOND for us in every moment leading up to the wedding to even helping us preserve precious memorabilia afterwards. I get sad thinking that our experience with her as a planner has ended, but I am SO thankful that we were able to have the opportunity to do so. She truly is a transformative leader and gifted in the Wedding business. She is worth EVERYTHING and I can not recommend her ENOUGH!!!!

Alexa C. especially holds a place in our hearts by making our dreams become a reality. I had MULTIPLE guests (both younger and older) tell me it was the most well organized wedding they’ve ever seen. Your top three wedding day checklist of absolute needs should be your wedding dress, rings, and Amanda Blue Events.Additionally, Canyonwood Ridge is the most beautiful venue we could have ever found. Having the chapel, outside cocktail hour and inside reception hall all at one location was ingenious. The views outside couldn’t be better. The elegance of the berries building is just breathtaking. We had guests mention they would consider CWR as their own venue for their future weddings. 100/10 rating

Amanda blue events and the Canyonwood ridge team did such an amazing job a few weeks out from the wedding and on our day! I couldn’t believe how quickly Amanda was able to pick up and run with our wedding vision. As soon as she was on board I knew the day was under control! She made the day go so smoothly and easily and I couldn’t recommend using her and the team enough!The venue is also perfect. Rain, cold or shine it will be just perfect - between the chapel, reception hall, the outdoor trellis and yard there are ample ways of making this your perfect day with your favorite people. Being able to get ready on site at Canyonwood ridge also made the day go even more smoothly and allowed for more time to enjoy being with loved ones.Cannot recommend Amanda blue events for coordination and Canyonwood ridge for a venue enough! They made the memory of our wedding so sweet - you gotta choose them for your day too!!

Canyonwood Ridge is truly the most beautiful wedding venue. We got married in December and lucked out with beautiful weather and used the outdoor ceremony site which was STUNNING. Canyonwood Ridge Venue is the most beautiful venue we have come across. From day one, the staff was super responsive and got us in for a tour right away. They went over everything with us and were always there to help us when we had a million and one questions. I am just in awe with the overall services that we have received by Canyonwood Ride and their staff. Their stafff truly took good care of us from touring the venue up until last minute of our wedding night. Our guests couldn't stop talking about the venue itself and how amazing the entire day was. We booked the in house coordination with Amanda Blue Events as well. Hiring Amanda Blue Events was one of the best decisions we have ever made! Amanda truly made our wedding day so perfect. She was just on top of it from the beginning. When it was crunch time Amanda made sure to hold all vendors accountable and made sure everyone had the same information. She has such a great relationship with majority of the vendors that we selected. Amanda has such amazing ideas and it just mind blowing on how quick she is to make an idea come to life. I may be one of the few brides that can truly say my wedding day was just perfect all because of Amanda Blue Events team and Amanda her self. I am just so speechless and forever thankful for really making our wedding day so special. Amanda is just so down to earth and has the biggest, most pure heart that I have ever come across. Amanda, Thank you so much for all your hard work, dedication, sweat and tears you have put in to make our day possible. You are just so great at what you do and truly inspire others. Couldn't thank you enough for all that you have done! Thank you a billion times!

We loved having the ceremony and reception all in one area and being able to have the option of an indoor OR outdoor ceremony was nice as well. The venue was extremely clean, organized and the staff is absolutely wonderful. I could not recommend this venue enough!

Canyonwood Ridge is the perfect wedding venue. Our guests adored being able to have everything in the same place, enjoy the views of the hill country, and take in such a gorgeous venue. It's one of those venues you can transform however you want or you can leave it for its natural beauty. I can't recommend the venue enough, but if you choose it or not, who you really need to know about is Amanda Blue Events who works directly with Canyonwood for coordination and wedding planning. Amanda is a superwoman and beyond spectacular! There isn't enough space to list out how incredible valuable it was to have Amanda and her team there for the month leading up to and on our wedding day. I am an A-type bride and my mom is super detail oriented, but even with all of the things we thought we had a handle on, we couldn't have done it without Amanda! We had so many people come up to us and tell us it was the most smoothly run and perfect wedding they had been to, all thanks to Amanda and her team. We had so many things go wrong: from an emergency with our photographer, so Amanda worked to find a new one for us two days before the wedding, to oven issues the day of the wedding, to our getaway car needing to change during the reception, to all the adventures that come with kids and dogs and families and even more. All that being said, I never heard anything went wrong until the wedding was over and from my perspective everything was perfect. She works tirelessly to make sure her brides are taken care of and that they have the best day. I would go a step beyond just recommending her, to say that you definitely need her and your team on your wedding day. Hiring Amanda was the most crucial decision we made for the wedding, and I'm so beyond thankful to her for making our wedding day a dream.

What an absolutely stunning venue. We couldn't be happier with Canyonwood Ridge, and our guests had nothing but amazing compliments to share. With how unpredictable weather can be in Texas, we wanted to make sure that we found a venue that had just as good of a 'Plan B' option as they did 'Plan A'. We were completely blown away during the initial tour starting from the friendly and welcoming staff all the way through the gorgeous views. You receive a huge time block the day of your wedding, which makes getting ready super easy, and you can't go wrong whether you decide to get married outside or inside. The sun setting beyond the trees was almost something out of a fairytale, and the staff was incredible. As far as venues go that can sometimes have lists upon lists of rules, which vendors you are allowed to bring, what time you can start, which alcohol you can bring; they are pretty flexible, and that was one of the main reasons we picked this location. We couldn't recommend this venue enough - an absolute gem just outside of Austin!

We toured Canyonwood Ridge on a whim. Amanda was there to greet us bright and early at the earliest time slot available and painted a perfect picture of what a wedding there could look like. After touring other venues, there was no comparison! The landscaping is gorgeous - the green grass, trellis, and view make for the most beautiful outdoor wedding location. I love that they also have a chapel to accomodate poor weather. Payments and logistics were easy to sort out, the team was super friendly and eager to make the day perfect. I fell in love with this venue just from the photos alone and it did not disappoint! The perfect venue for our wedding day and made all of our wedding dreams come true. CWR was always a first option for a venue but we could not find an available date. However, after talking to 22 venues and not being able to find a date in the fall, we circled back around and found a Friday in August at CWR!! Since it was August in Texas we decided to use the chapel for our ceremony, outside patio and lawn for cocktail hour and inside hall for reception. It was perfect. We rented 2 fans from Premiere events to have on the patio which helped add a breeze for guests during cocktail hour. The venue itself is 10/10- every guest loved it and is such a gorgeous space. Pictures are gorgeous. If you are looking for hill country meets modern this is your space. The bridal sweet and grooms room are very small- that is the only con about the venue itself. Other than that it is gorgeous. I would have guys get ready elsewhere before showing up to the venue and have the girls bring their own mirrors if they do their own makeup or use the bathroom space which is right by the bridal suite.My recommendation is doing what we did and asking a lot of questions in order to understand all of the costs. The alcohol/ bartender packages I thought were a little confusing and asked our planner (Ethnee from their Amanda Blue events team) a lot of questions on them. If you do their beer and wine only package you pay for a bartender through them and if you bring your own alcohol then you have to purchase extra bartenders through the Royal Fig Bartending company. I might have misunderstood from the beginning but that part seemed a little confusing and adds up fast. Using a planner from their team was great for the day of event. I felt like she was so chill and had everything taken care of. It was nice using a planner who knows the venue backwards and forwards so I really recommend using Amanda Blue Events. The venue is just so gorgeous!!! You cannot beat the vibes and location. We all loved that it was not super far down some long dirt dark road. It is easily accessible to Austin or Dripping Springs.

Canyonwood Ridge is the most stunning venue in Dripping Springs. I fell in love with the entire venue on my tour, especially the gorgeous chapel. It is the perfect venue for everything you need on your wedding day. Having a wedding venue that provides an indoor or outdoor ceremony option, outdoor area, and large reception hall is a dream and makes wedding planning so much easier. They also provide plenty of chairs and tables as well as some other furniture pieces that really help save rental costs as well as provide some beautiful décor. I love that you get the venue from 9am-midnight which allows you a full day of celebrating. I was able to get there early with my wedding party and enjoy the beautiful bridal suite while we got our hair and make up done. The staff was always helpful and responsive before my wedding day as well as day of. My guests were blown away by the beautiful views of the hill country as well as the large reception hall where there is plenty of room to eat and dance. Overall, Canyonwood Ridge is the full package, and I would recommend it to any couple looking looking for a venue. *Bonus- I was a 2020 bride that had to postpone her wedding and Canyonwood was so understanding and flexible with me. Just a testament to their professionalism and how thoughtful they are.

I got married earlier this month, and Canyonwood Ridge helped make our dream wedding come true. We had our ceremony outside, and it was so special that from the bridal suite we had a view of all the wedding guests arriving - but the glass is tinted on the outside so we had total privacy! Alex Hershberger helped with coordination and we cannot recommend her enough. She put our minds at ease leading up to the wedding and helped the day run smoothly! The beautiful, large chapel drew us in as well as the views overlooking the hill country. We also really appreciated being able to choose which vendors we wanted to bring/work with, which helped our wedding feel unique to us. Which by the way, we chose many vendors from Canyonwood’s recommended list and LOVED all of them! Having all day venue access (15 hours) was a huge bonus. Our guests continue to comment on how beautiful the venue was, and our musician, Taylor Stearns, said that because of the awesome acoustics in the chapel, CWR is one of her favorite venues to play at! Thank you again Alex and the entire CWR team for your professionalism and coordination throughout our wedding!

We just got married on 3.7.21 and I couldn't wait to write this - It's so hard to write a review that would do Canyonwood Ridge justice. Every single thing about the venue is beyond amazing. The moment we walked up to the venue, my husband and I knew we wanted to get married at Canyonwood. The location, the views, EVERYONE who works there, the beautiful reception/chapel area are incomparable to any other venue we toured. They are EXTREMELY easy to work with and so, so helpful especially during the height of Covid. They did an amazing job making everyone feel so safe. They're also so responsive, organized, and incredibly detail-oriented. One of the most important things for us was being stress-free and being able to have the venue for the entire day. Using the In-House Coordination, Amanda Blue Events (Our coordinator was Ethnee! She was amazing!) and the fact that Canyonwood allows you to be in the venue at 9 a.m. made our day run sooo smoothly and I was at ease all day. Our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful the venue was and they were in awe of the beautiful view. We chose to have our ceremony outside underneath the trellis, but you can't go wrong either way. The chapel is gorgeous as well. I never could have imagined our wedding to be SO BEAUTIFUL and SO SAFE! You can have it all, you guys!! My husband and I got married at Canyonwood 3 weeks ago...in the midst of covid...and it was better than any dream! First of all the venue itself is absolutely gorgeous. The options on where you can do the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, etc, are limitless. You can really create a cool space for your wedding with all that they offer! No choice is a bad choice at Canyonwood!! Secondly, Covid. Getting married during covid is scary and unpredictable but CWR is on top of what protocols and measures need to be taken to ensure saftey for your guests. Let me tell you all we had (that were required by the venue): temps taken at the door for all guests, masks to be worn when inside the venue and you are not eating, drinking, etc. Guests are put into \"groups\" of who came together/is related so that they can keep everyone in their grouping to further distance. All staff wore masks. Hand washing stations and sanitizer all around. Socially distanced seating for the ceremony. They thought of everything! And ya know what? It all worked because 3 weeks out from our wedding and not a single case with 130 people in attendance! They will support you and help your wedding day dreams come true. Book with CWR-you will not regret it one bit!!!

Canyonwood Ridge was our DREAM venue. I wish I could get married there over and over again. The natural beauty of the hill country coupled with the large beautiful windows made for the perfect indoor chapel setting. We wanted to find a chapel with natural light and beauty to be married in, and the chapel at Canyonwood ridge was the perfect fit! There is also a drop dead gorgeous outdoor option with a stunning view, but we wanted the chapel from the beginning. Our guests used it for photo ops. The chapel has the feeling of being outside due to the huge windows and natural light, without the heat/cold/rain/ unforeseen weather chances. So it’s a great backup option if you want outside, but it was our perfect Plan A. I loved the dramatic effect of the large doors on the chapel for my reveal of walking in with my father! (My groom teared up, it was perfect.)The bridal suite was so cozy and clean with large mirrors for our hair and makeup team to pamper us. We were served mimosas and lounged around all morning long preparing for the ceremony. There is also a groom’s suite, which could be used for hair/makeup if you have a larger bridal party and the bride suit feels too crowded. I also used the venue for my bridal portraits. They included time for either our engagement photos or for bridals as a part of our package. I just love the oak trees and lawn for our outdoor photos, you just can’t beat the scenery for stunning photos! Being a covid couple, we contemplated lots of options for our wedding as the pandemic continued. We postponed our original date due to a combination of travel restrictions for family, not being able to get suits due to store closures, and overall uncertainty of the early months. The staff was amazing with helping us move our date, and we will forever be grateful they did! Amanda went above and beyond to help us postpone and secure a date. Our backup date, though a Thursday due to availability, was PERFECT. The weather, the scenery, the food, the drinks…. EVERYTHING was perfect. And YES! YOU CAN have a blast even with masks on. We loved the fact that they had several options for alcohol and that you could bring in your own liquor while using their beer, wine and champagne package. It was the perfect option for our crowd! We had our cocktail hour outside on the patio and the bartenders moved everything to the inside bars at the end of that hour. If you choose any of the preferred caterers for your big day, they include setup of the ceremony chairs, reception table and chairs and also cocktail hour location without added fees. They have all of the chairs and tables you need for a wedding up to I believe 300 people, so there was no need to rent any additional furniture unless you wanted a different look. We personally thought what they had on site was perfect.Finally, I HIGHLY recommend hiring one of the event coordinators for your wedding! We originally hired Amanda, but when we postponed she ended up having 4 weddings in a month and offered to have Stephanie take over so that we would have more personal attention. The team usually only takes a few weddings a month. They were both amazing and made our day so perfect. They are on top of everything and were always quick to answer my many questions! Their wedding planning guide and timeline was just what I needed to help plan, as I had no idea where to even begin when we got engaged. I have zero complaints and only wonderful things to say about Canyonwood ridge!

Canyonwood Ridge was the wedding venue of my dreams!! Ethnee, my day of coordinator, was so hands on and kept herself well informed even leading up to the event. She was super sweet and was available when we needed.The venue itself was absolutely gorgeous! We hardly even needed any decorations because the venue was already so perfect. The interior and exterior made for amazing photos. The one thing everyone has not stopped bringing up is how perfect the venue was. 10/10 would recommend!!!

Honestly not sure where to start! Canyonwood Ridge + staff = the most AMAZING wedding combo! If you are looking to capture the Texas hill country views and work with people who truly want to make your day uniquely special, look no further than Canyonwood Ridge. Back in March, we were forced to postpone our wedding. Amanda was INCREDIBLE in helping to ensure our new date worked for all vendors taking SO MUCH pressure off of us during such an unpredictable time. I will be writing a separate review for her because she is incredible and her services were 1000% worth every penny!! We were finally married last week and it was SO worth the wait! Our friends and family are still raving about how beautiful the venue was and how safe and comfortable they felt from start to finish. Cannot stress enough how wonderful of an experience we had. So sad it's over, but excited for future brides to experience the same magic we felt at Cayonwood Ridge! We are so grateful!!

Beautiful venue is an understatement. We had our labor day wedding at CWR and it was amazing. We did run into a couple of issues that were out of our control but appreciate the attention and care CWR has taken to make sure everything was resolved. Extremely responsive team with a professional approach. I loved speaking with Amanda when we first booked, I was overwhelmed and she suggested all of our wonderful vendors. AJ has been great with us as well. I would recommend CWR to everyone.

WE LOVE CWR!!!!! I cannot express enough how much we enjoyed having our wedding this past August in this beautiful venue. Everything was absolutely perfect. From the very first time we toured to the wedding day itself, this venue knows what they're doing and they know how to do it WELL. The space is stunning and very accommodating for COVID-friendly weddings (which was what ours was). On the wedding day, we were able to arrive at 9am (which is RARE to find) to start getting ready/setting up. Everything went seamless and all of our guests had an incredible time in the space. The staff at CWR is also outstanding, always answering emails quickly and providing important information. Amanda Woods was our coordinator and we felt sad at the end of the event knowing we wouldn't be in communication with her all the time anymore. She does an amazing job of accommodating needs and making it look easy. Couldn't recommend her coordinating services enough! Thank you, Canyonwood Ridge, for an incredible wedding. We had the best day of our lives and will recommend this place to anyone looking for a venue in Dripping Springs/Austin area!!

The Canyonwood Ridge Staff is what makes this venue stand out from any others. They truly go above and beyond to ensure your wedding dreams become a reality. We got married at Canyonwood Ridge during the COVID-19 pandemic and boy was it difficult! The venue staff were extremely communicative and transparent and helpful. Wow where to even start. Planning a wedding during a pandemic was so stressful. Thankfully, AJ worked with us in planning and replanning everything. He was so accommodating to our constantly changing plan and made sure that the day went exactly how we wanted it. AJ and his staff were so helpful and great with communication. Although we had to change the plan so many times, AJ made sure that everything followed CDC guidelines to make sure that the wedding party, family, guests and vendors were all safe and comfortable. AMAZING! My husband and I fell in love from the moment we walked into Canyonwood Ridge. We unfortunately had to postpone our wedding from April to June due to Covid-19. Amanda was our coordinator and I can't say enough good things about her. She was so sweet, helpful and really put my stress at ease since we had to change several things because of the guidelines. Canyonwood Ridge is simply beautiful! Very little extra is needed as the venue itself is GORGEOUS!!!! The staff especially Alex and Amanda are so welcoming and focused on making the process fun and enjoyable. The minute we arrived at the venue and walked in, we knew we had found the place. As part of the package, they provide chairs/tables, rehearsal time, bridal and groom suites, plan B options for rain, and one of the most beautiful unobstructed views of the hill country available! The venue is well thought out and sets any wedding day up for success. Vendor recommendations and flexibility are one of the bonuses. No regrets and would highly recommend!

Where do I even begin?! Canyonwood Ridge is hands down the BEST venue in the Dripping Springs/Austin area. The moment I walked in for the first time touring the venue, my husband and I immediately turned to each other and said “This is it!”. The staff is AMAZING (S/O to Amanda and Alex y’all are the best) and they have everything you need and want in a venue. You can arrive as early at 9 a.m. to start getting ready, they have options for your ceremony/a back up ALREADY in place just in case it rains , the bridal suite is BIG and you can see out but no one can see in (my favorite part because I watched the entire ceremony with my dad before walking down the aisle and no one knew), they have in house chairs and tables (WHAT) and sliding barn doors where your guests can’t see your reception until after the ceremony. My guests keep talking about how beautiful and fun our wedding was and I give all the credit to Canyonwood Ridge because they helped make my wedding my DREAM wedding. I promise you, you will not be disappointed in the quality and service provided by Canyonwood Ridge!!!

Is it possible to give 100 out of 5 stars? If so, Canyonwood Ridge deserves it! We knew this was our venue the moment my husband and I walked in. Not only is it an absolutely STUNNING venue in the hill country, the team at CWR is really what makes this place shine. Amanda was so warm and welcoming from our initial tour and went above and beyond answering all of our questions and making us feel like our day was just as important to her as it was to us. AJ and Lydia were also incredibly helpful in accommodating us and helping us plan all of the details. And then, there's Stephanie, our day-of coordinator who will forever be a goddess in my eyes for truly making our wedding the most perfect and wonderful day. Her energy and positivity is contagious, she is more organized and detail-oriented than anyone I know, and she is so incredibly kind and thoughtful! I still can't find the words to thank her for everything she did to make the wedding planning process and day-of as stress-free and fun as possible. All of this is to say Canyonwood Ridge exceeded every expectation we had for our wedding and I could not recommend this incredible venue enough!

We picked Canyonwood Ridge as our wedding venue after an amazing experience with my sister's wedding 2 years prior and it lived up to all of our expectations and then some! Canyonwood is the most beautiful wedding venue I have seen! Pictures do not do it justice! AMAZING staff made our wedding day the absolute best. Every single person there goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. So convenient to have ceremony and reception hall in one place- and the outside area is just as beautiful as inside. We also loved that it included all tables and chairs so there was no need for rentals. Cannot say enough good things about Amanda (venue manager and coordinator)- would not have been able to pull off our wedding day without her! HIGHLY recommend this venue!!

We picked Canyonwood Ridge as our wedding venue after an amazing experience with my sister's wedding 2 years prior and it lived up to all of our expectations and then some! Canyonwood is the most beautiful wedding venue I have seen! Pictures do not do it justice! AMAZING staff made our wedding day the absolute best. Every single person there goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. This venue...holy smokes! I am so incredible glad that we decided on Canyonwood Ridge for our wedding venue. No other venue we looked at compared to the beauty of this place and its unbelievable scenery. The staff here is top notch as well....Brides if you're getting married you NEED to hire Amanda as your wedding coordinator. There aren't enough words in the world to describe how amazing she is at what she does, my entire day was perfect and that is 100% because of her. If I were to redo everything about this day I wouldn't change a single thing!

This venue...holy smokes! I am so incredible glad that we decided on Canyonwood Ridge for our wedding venue. No other venue we looked at compared to the beauty of this place and its unbelievable scenery. The staff here is top notch as well....Brides if you're getting married you NEED to hire Amanda as your wedding coordinator. There aren't enough words in the world to describe how amazing she is at what she does, my entire day was perfect and that is 100% because of her. If I were to redo everything about this day I wouldn't change a single thing!

Words can’t even explain how great my experience was with Canyonwood Ridge! The staff is amazing - Amanda is quick to respond and answers any question imaginable. Stephanie was our coordinator and completely blew me away! I truly believe our day was perfect because of Steph!Canyonwood Ridge has everything you could want for a venue - from an adorable bridal suite, to chairs, tables and the amazing chapel for an indoor ceremony! The planning process with Canyonwood was flawless and the day of was better than we could have imagined. I’d choose Canyonwood Ridge every single time if I had to do it all over again!

CWR was the perfect venue for our wedding day! Since my husband and I first booked our date at CWR in August 2018, we had been describing it to others as “hill country meets country club”. It embodies the vibe of Texas hill country without feeling overly rustic (rustic’s great for others - just not our vibe necessarily!). 2 very different perks sold us on CWR. First, the beautiful chapel. They call it the “best Plan B in Texas”, which is 110% accurate. The weather on our wedding day was absolutely beautiful, and we still opted for the chapel (I’ve been told that a ton of brides are choosing the chapel, regardless of the weather!). In the weeks leading up to the wedding, we had total piece of mind knowing that if it ended up being yucky outside, we didn’t have to worry about it! Having our ceremony in the chapel allowed for great transitions from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception, which flowed really nicely. Second, the alcohol package. CWR’s alcohol package was by far the most affordable compared to similar venues, and you can bring in your own liquor, which is a huge cost savings. Another great perk is that the venue decor is simple and elegant and allows for you to customize with florals, etc as much or as little as you want. The Edison light bulbs are all the lighting that you need, and the built-in bar is super nice and makes it easy to serve liquor on one side and beer/wine on the other. The bridal suite is also lovely and was enough space for me, my 13 bridesmaids, mom and MIL (plus 5 make up artists!) to get ready in. We had ~135 guests, which we thought was perfect for the space, but we also had a huge 10 piece band which took up a lot of room. We could have probably fit 170ish comfortably with our band set up, and the venue can certainly hold much more if you are going with a DJ or smaller band. We had our ceremony in the chapel then moved outside for a sunset cocktail hour, which was incredible! Literally, I saw comments on some of our guests’ pictures from cocktail hour asking if they were at a winery! I highly suggest using CWR’s preferred vendors list and, if you can, hiring the lead venue manager, Amanda Woods, as your 6 week coordinator. With this combo, our day went off without any issues, and we didn’t have to worry about a single thing! Amanda is extremely professional - my dad is the toughest critic I know, and he commented on what a wonderful job Amanda did. Overall, I highly recommend CWR as your hill country wedding venue and had a wonderful experience!

We both fell in love with the look and feel of the venue over pictures alone, but not being too naive we also wanted to have some sort of look around the place. We finally took a trip to Austin, as the venue manager Amanda had made arrangements for us to have an appointment where she took us around the venue and explained the different areas. She took us through a general run-through of what most couples do on their day but let us know they were very open to any creative ideas we had to make things a little different for our day. She really put our minds at rest and we knew even though we hadn’t seen the venue it was definitely the right place for us.During all the months leading up to the wedding, we were in contact with the venue managers. We obviously had so many questions and requests through not being able to be there physically, but they were quick to respond to all our emails and give helpful friendly advice for everything.Although our wedding was out of town, our family members supported us 100% and couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the chapel and the whole venue was! It was just amazing to hear and knew we had made such a great choice! Thankyou so much for helping us create our dream day!We highly recommend Canyonwood Ridge for your upcoming wedding!:)
