Libby Beckwith(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-04-2014 Great venue. We booked this venue pretty early on in the process. They are very upfront about pricing and do everything they can to keep you in your budget. Overall, we were very satisfied up until the day of the wedding. The event manager said she would be there all day and available. I couldn't track her down for the life of me and she never came to find me, she just went home according to staff... But luckily they were great and provided everything we needed.\r\rMy only big complaint was they they had a group of at least 10 people there touring the building up until my guests started arriving. I don't know why they were there so long (little less than 3 hours). They got in the way of pictures and kept distracting us and our photographer with questions. It was very annoying and I don't know why they weren't asked to leave earlier. Reviewed on 28-04-2014
Mallory DeMello(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 29-06-2013 We booked Adelmann Event Center in November 2011 for our wedding on June 29, 2013. They took care of our table setup, catering, hosted wine and beer and our no host bar. Karen, Amber and Soraya made our day flawless and stress free! I would absolutely hold another event there anytime! Reviewed on 16-07-2013
Alexandria Weiss(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 01-06-2013 I had my wedding here. I wanted a vintage theme and this venue is a beautiful old building that required little to no decorations from me. The location was amazing, the staff so helpful and they also did my food, which was delicious. My only issue is the price. It is expensive and every little thing adds a lot to the overall cost. Make sure you really read the contract before signing, there are a few things I overlooked that cost me a bit in the end. Still, my wedding was beautiful, fun and so stress free because of their professional staff. Reviewed on 19-06-2013
Rebecca MIckens(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-04-2013 The staff was great, they made sure we had plenty of time before the wedding to decorate and they made it easy for my dj, and family to get in before the wedding to set up. During the reception the staff kept things flowing great. Reviewed on 14-05-2013
Haley Tankersley(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 05-10-2012 Talked and met with the Karen who is the owner of the Adelmann when I first started looking for a wedding venue. We were getting married in less than 10 months and needed to find a place stat. We told her our estimated budget, what day, how many people, and our overall feel of the wedding. She gave us a really fantastic deal on the place by giving us a military discount and another discount for signing the contract to book our date right then and there. We also used their in house chef for our dinner and the food was amazing! The planning staff is also wonderful, the ladies there really try to make everything you want happen and really work with you. I would absolutely 100% recommend this place to anyone who is getting married or planning a big event. Reviewed on 04-11-2012
Mary Ann Alves(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 03-12-2011 We chose this venue since we were having a winter wedding and liked the look of the facility. It was nice for the reception but it is a VERY expensive venue for the area. If you have too many guests the split room may be an issue. Reviewed on 17-01-2012
Kendra Hankins(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 09-10-2011 At first I had sticker shock at the price of the venue rental + food costs (they do in house catering), but it was completely worth it. All of the staff were extremely nice and easy to work with. The food was amazing and everything was set up just the way we had requested.\r\rThe bartender especially was awesome. She helped fix my train before I went down the aisle and she helped a ton with packing things up when we were getting ready to leave. Reviewed on 13-11-2011

Sara Ledbetter(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 09-02-2011 Overall, I am really glad I chose the Adelmann. There were some things I didn't love, including the prices. It seemed like I was getting a good deal, until I realized all the extra fees for everything that I needed. Including the liability insurance, damage deposit, $500 to use an outside caterer, etc.. Ultimately it wasn't a big deal, and we went through the Adelmann for catering, but they didn't do a good job of making me aware of all this before I signed up to use them as my venue. Which means I wasn't as prepared for it with my budget, especially for food cost. The cheapest they go is $15 a plate, which isn't terrible, but I was initially thinking on staying on a tighter budget then that. The food however, was quite delicious so I am happy with the way it turned out. Bottom line, if you discuss with them all the extra costs up front, and are prepared for those in your budget, you will enjoy having your wedding here. The venue is beautiful and requires very little to make it look great for your wedding. Lastly, it is worth mentioning that communication here is slacking a bit. A lot of things I said had been ignored and had to be repeated and I had to do a ton of reminding. Not to mention, I felt like they should have checked in with me more as the wedding got closer, instead I did most of the initiating when it came to getting everything coordinated. Lilia Juarez(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 08-01-2011 The Adelmann worked with me and my husband to create the perfect menu, the best room arrangement and their service was beyond excellent. Our reception was everything I had envisioned and the food delicious, we have gotten so many compliments on the food. The place itself is just beautiful and little decoration was needed. Our wedding reception was simply gorgeous, Thanks specially to Karen, she just coordinated everything so beautifully!! Reviewed on 23-01-2011
alicia uehling(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 23-10-2010 This venue is beautiful and doesn't require decorations. It is spacious and offers many different seeating arrangements. The contact with the wedding coordinator is a little sporatic and can be frustrating at times. As long as you are patient they do follow through with what you want. Reviewed on 09-11-2010
Nicole Pantera(bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-10-2010 This is a beautiful venue, but the service was atrocious, and there are a lot of hidden fees in the contract. The service people were very difficult to work with, and the day of the wedding had the entire set up incorrect. It is a beautiful venue, though, and my only comment on that is that the layout is somewhat awkward, and it is very small. Reviewed on 06-11-2010
Rachel Mason(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 10-09-2010 This place is gorgeous! It is a little on the smaller side though. We had about 60 people that came to the wedding and it felt just about perfect. I wouldn't recommend more than 80 for dinner or seating for the ceremony. There are two rooms--the Champagne room is the front room and it is absolutely gorgeous. There are beautiful hardwood floors, a great chandelier, and beautiful drapes that frame a turret so it makes a natural arch. This room sings classic elegance. The backroom--the Chardonnay room--has a completely different feel. It has brick walls, hardwood floors and a fireplace. \r\rI was a DIY bride on a strict $5000 budget. Renting this venue plus getting catering pushed that limit quite a bit, but we wanted to spend more money on the things that people would actually remember 1) location and 2) food. Luckily, this location is so pretty on its own, that you don't really have to do very much decorating. The owner, Karen, is great to work with. They did have a staffing change during the time between when we booked the venue and our wedding. When we first found the Adelmann, it was brand new. They hadn't had any weddings there yet and Karen was pretty much running everything. When business started to pick up more, they hired an event coordinator. The coordinator was really good at making suggestions for the logistics and helping to figure out all the small details. She ended up quitting though in July and I wasn't told about it until a week before our wedding September 10th. The problem with that is she had all of our finalized arrangements and I didn't even have a final invoice to pay--the contract said payment must be made in full 45 days in advance. It caused a huge moment of panic. But as soon as I let Karen know that everything wasn't finalized because the old employee had worked with me, she set up a meeting that night and we got everything set. They were more than accommodating at that point. \r\rI would recommend the Adelmann. Our wedding was beautiful and the night went just about perfect. The event manager, Susie, was the best. She was there during the whole event and before and made sure everything was taken care of. My husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing that day. \r\rThey have a list of preferred caterers you can chose from without an additional fee being added to the room rental or you can use their in house catering. We had our hearts set on Kanak Attack for our catering and the Adelmann was one of the first places we found that was beautiful, within our budget, and accepted Kanak Attack as a caterer.\r\rMy only recommendation for something to watch out for if you do decide to go with The Adelmann is not to use their sound system! Definitely hire a DJ or rent equipment for DIY's. We had a laptop hooked up to their built-in speaker systems and every time the volume got turned up or the mic was used while music was still playing in the background, it would blow a fuse.\r\rOverall though, a great experience.
