Capulet is located in New Orleans, LA. Though originally built in the 1800s, the building has been thoughtfully restored with contemporary couples and milestone celebrations in mind. Just 10 blocks away from the Big Easy's famous French Quarter, the warehouse offers a warm, inviting ambience that embodies the city's rich culture. Capulet offers a romantic setting where couples and up to 250 guests can dine, dance, and create lifelong memories together. The warehouse's distinct interior features a blend of modern aesthetics and original historic charm. This contrast can be found in details like the soaring, 30-foot wooden ceilings, exposed brick walls, and industrial-chic accents. The warehouse's main event space features a sleek bar. Here, the venue's team of creative bartenders can treat couples and their guests to craft cocktails, wine, and beer. Thanks to the building's rooftop deck, couples, and their loved ones can even admire views of the city as they celebrate. The Capulet was the BEST venue for our wedding on 5/27/23! The staff was so responsive and accommodating. Steve and team made it a seamless and stress free experience! The FOOD is amazing, and we loved being able to create our custom menu. So many guests said it was the best wedding food they've ever had and I couldn't agree more. The venue was perfect for the modern industrial vibe with the brick, high ceilings and wood beams - it was exactly what we imagined after some hanging lights and geometric shapes. My goal was to limit the amount of vendors, and The Capulet offers so much that we only had to get florals, linen and décor. It was the perfect size for our wedding, it didn't feel empty or too crowded. It is only a 10 minute drive from the French Quarter and reasonable pricing with awesome value. Our second line photos were perfect around the neighborhood with the quintessential New Orleans shotgun houses. I couldn't be happier with our choice! Thank you to the capulet team!

Capulet was the PERFECT venue for a wedding. The space fully transforms into whatever you envision. Nestled in the vibrant heart of New Orleans' Bywater district, Capulet on Dauphine was a DREAM venue to work with for our March 2023 wedding. The venue is a spacious, modern-industrial design, which provides the perfect canvas for a celebration. What our other vendors could do with the space was mind-blowing. One of the most remarkable aspects was the spacious venue, from the upstairs rooftop and the mezzanine for additional seating to the ample room for dancing to DJ Mikey's mixes, ensuring that guests could revel in the joy of the occasion without feeling cramped. (The one downside is there is no elevator access to the roof, so it's not great for folks with disability concerns.)What truly set Capulet apart was its dedicated team, led by Steve and their amazing Chef. Their professionalism and commitment to making dreams a reality were evident from the outset. They were transparent about pricing and welcomed our request with open arms, offering guidance and support every step of the way. It also rained off and on on our wedding day, and they were so nimble up until the last minute of our ceremony, moving floral arrangements and seating down from the rooftop to the dance floor when we realised an inside ceremony was the best decision. Their responsiveness, openness, and attention to detail spoke volumes about their dedication to crafting unforgettable experiences. Also… THE FOOD! Our guests were half from the South and half from London, England, and they all could not stop talking about (even months later) how incredible the food was. One refrain we have consistently heard is that this was THE BEST wedding food people have ever had and how friendly and quick the bar staff was. Major kudos to Chef Chris and Chef Jack and their team. One of our high-priority criteria was to support vendors who champion and put money in the pockets of LGBTQ+ people, women, and minorities. Capulet embraces diversity and actively supports these communities. There are so many stresses and hidden costs when it comes to wedding planning. With Capulet and Steve, you don't have to worry about any of that. I recommend the Capulet to anyone looking for a unique venue and wanting something different from the standard New Orleans food packages. We loved it so much that we're considering having a five-year anniversary at the Capulet just so we can eat, drink, and dance there again!

My daughter's wedding was at Capulet in November 2023. What a PERFECT choice! It was the exact vibe the couple wanted and the food was outstanding! Steve and his staff worked to create a successful, seamless event. They offered lots of add ons to help us put together exactly what we wanted. We did some fun things with late night food options and desserts. Ceremony was on the rooftop, did a second line around the neighborhood (SO MUCH FUN!) and had about 130 people for the reception with a live, 10 piece band. (DPLAY - who I highly recommend). The buffet ran very smoothly and there was a ton of food. All in all, I wouldn't have changed a thing!! It was magical. Thank you to Steve, Chef Jack and the staff at Capulet for making the wedding an enormous success!!!

You know that saying: \"when you know, you know?\" Well, I guess it applies for both your spouse, AND your reception venue! My husband and I were on a quest to find a space that would feel authentic New Orleans, with modern-industrial space and plenty of room to DANCE. Capulet provided all of the above, AND a great bar, AAAANNNDDD an incredible Chef & Kitchen team that helped bring our dream Wedding Reception to life!Working with Steve, Stefanie & Jack was an awesome experience. From the very start, they were realistic and open with us on pricing and availability, and gave us the freedom to do our research before making final decisions on anything. They were open to hearing out and finding compromises on all of our ideas, and even offered to help us with a special surprise involving someone very important to us. Additionally, it was a goal for us to primarily support LGBTQ & Women-Owned business as often as possible, and we are so proud to have been able to support Steve & the team at Capulet. Even though you'll see so many photos of Capulet online, you & the Capulet team can and will absolutely create your one-of-a-kind dream design, just as you'd hope it would be. We cannot say enough positive things about Capulet! We fell in love with the space almost instantly. Their chef, Jack, was wonderful! We had the best time discussing all things food with him and really valued the fact that he gave his honest feedback. He put together an INCREDIBLE menu for us. Best food I have ever eaten at a wedding hands down! Their team is absolutely wonderful and make the planning process smooth, easy, and most importantly fun! They make sure that your vision comes to life and make sure that you are taken care of on your wedding day. I would recommend Capulet to everyone!

Chef Jack was incredible to work with. He nailed all the food we wanted, and we were picky. Food from Wisconsin, Peru, and Honduras is not easy to plan for all in one buffet, but he knocked it out of the park. Reception layouts were flexible, and the coordinating staff were nice to work with and helpful.

We had our wedding here in June and it was more than my husband and I could have imagined. We live in Brooklyn NY and planned the wedding remotely and the pictures and virtual tour didn't do it justice. It fit our taste and vibe perfectly. Working with Steve, his team and the chef was an exceptional experience. The menu that was created by the chef with our cultures (and allergens) in mind was perfect and got rave reviews from our guests. Highly recommend this venue and working with this team.

Our wedding was so beautiful here! Things went just about perfectly. They were super helpful in planning the menu...we basically got to pick whatever we wanted and the pricing was very reasonable. The alcohol package was great and our guests ordered craft cocktails all night. They make planning easy!I would recommend getting some sort of transport for guests after the wedding as it is a little out of the way compared to other venuesThe only thing we were sad about was that we did not get a box of food and cake to take home...but overall, the day was a huge success

Our wedding was so beautiful here! Things went just about perfectly. They were super helpful in planning the menu...we basically got to pick whatever we wanted and the pricing was very reasonable. The alcohol package was great and our guests ordered craft cocktails all night. They make planning easy!I would recommend getting some sort of transport for guests after the wedding as it is a little out of the way compared to other venuesThe only thing we were sad about was that we did not get a box of food and cake to take home...but overall, the day was a huge success

Steve and the team were extremely professional, helpful, and communicative throughout the whole process. Chef Jack worked closely with us to create a unique customized menu that blended our Asian heritage with New Orleans cuisine. Every dish was delicious! The bar staff demonstrated their creativity in designing our signature cocktails. The venue itself had a beautiful rooftop area and a romantic main area that was large enough to accommodate a band, dance floor, and seating for 150 guests. We would highly recommend Capulet if you are looking for a unique and memorable wedding venue in New Orleans!

We couldn't have picked a better venue for our April wedding. Steve and the Capulet team were ON POINT from the start of our planning process through the reception, very communicative and thorough. The rooftop ceremony and downstairs reception space matched our vision perfectly. Chef Jack, who seamlessly took over for Chef Chris this year, was amazing, from menu planning/sampling to executing on the big day. The bar staff performed valiantly throughout the night, serving up signature cocktails and made-to-order drinks without ever falling behind. Honestly no pain points, they deserve all the praise they get. 100% recommend.

I cannot recommend Capulet enough. We got married here on April 1st and it was PERFECT. The owner is fantastic as well as all of the staff. The venue is a great space & has plenty of areas for guests — rooftop, mezzanine, and dining room. If you are thinking about booking Capulet for your wedding, do it!!

We had our wedding at Capulet this Spring. We chose this venue because we absolutely love the Bywater neighborhood. We appreciated that there was an outdoor and indoor space that we could utilize (especially in case of inclement weather, which there wasn’t!). We also liked that the tables, chairs, lounge furniture and plants were all available for us to use rather than renting. We had our ceremony and cocktail hour on the rooftop and Reception/Dancing/Band inside. There was plenty of space for guests to dine as well as dance. We couldn’t have been more impressed with Steve and his staff. They were organized, responded quickly when we had questions and were accommodating to requests for our special day. Our guests raved about the food and we enjoyed working with Chef Chris and Chef Jack throughout the process from creating selecting our menu, scheduling a tasting and executing the evening. We look forward to visit the Capulet during our many trips to NOLA to enjoy their space again and reminisce on our special day.

I cannot say enough good things about Capulet. They helped me have the best day of my life! We had the ceremony on the roof and the reception downstairs. The space was gorgeous, drinks were excellent and the food from Chef Chris was KILLER; everyone was raving about it. I particularly loved the fried chicken bites, the lemon cream rigatoni, the vegan elotes and the skirt steak chimichurri. The menu is totally customizable and they're very flexible on accommodating allergies/dietary restrictions. I appreciate the fact that the venue is a restaurant on weekdays, so we were able to try their food before picking the venue and could tell it was good quality. I was worried that the space might look too industrial as it is a former warehouse, but actually the brick walls and wooden roof bring a warm, romantic vibe to the space. We did not have to do much in terms of decoration; the only things we brought in from outside vendors were dining chairs, tablecloths, a cake stand and the floral arrangements. Most of all, Steve was so easy to work with, so organized, a good communicator, and always answered all my questions via email promptly and in great detail. Overall, I'm very happy with this choice, and it was worth the price. For reference: the cost was $8,000 to rent the space for a peak-season, Saturday wedding; $1,000 for the ceremony; and $7,600 for staffing, an open bar and food for about 100 guests + vendors.

I cannot say enough good things about Capulet. They helped me have the best day of my life! We had the ceremony on the roof and the reception downstairs. The space was gorgeous, drinks were excellent and the food from Chef Chris was KILLER; everyone was raving about it. I particularly loved the fried chicken bites, the lemon cream rigatoni, the vegan elotes and the skirt steak chimichurri. Capulet provided almost everything we needed - an amazing venue (indoor and outdoor!) drinks, catering, most of the furniture, and even some lighting! From the start, Steve and his staff were extremely responsive and kept track of our multitude of questions. With all of the information flowing, it was truly amazing that they could keep on top of everything! Our guests are still talking about how amazing the food was, and Chris curated the best menu we could have asked for, while working within our budget. This was a huge value for money. Capulet is everything and more when it comes to a wedding venue! They were the third venue we toured with and third times the charm really rung true here. We loved the versatility of the space and especially liked that we could do the whole day in one place. In my opinion the aesthetics of the venue really speak for itself. It's the perfect blank slate to make your wedding dreams become reality. The neighborhood gave off the perfect New Orleans vibe and we loved that we were able to have our wedding weekend in such a special place! We did our ceremony on the rooftop that has the must stunning views and did the reception downstairs. The whole venue was very spacious and we had plenty of room for our 120 guests + the band on the dance floor. What you don't see from the pictures are the two people behind it. Working with Steve and Chris was one of the easiest parts of our wedding planning process. Steve was so incredibly kind, answered our questions in a timely manner, and helped us stay organized throughout the process. Chris was such a joy to work with, he hand crafted our menu for the night and made sure to include our favorites with a creative twist from the chef. We got so many compliments on the food (can’t recommend the beignet’s enough!) and the venue! Steve, along with my planner, really made sure our day ran smoothly! We are forever grateful for the opportunity to work with the team at Capulet to bring our best day ever to life. If you're considering booking with them, this is your push to commit. TRULY UNFORGETTABLE!!! Capulet is an incredible venue with an even better staff. Owner, Steve, and I planned my entire wedding over email (as I came from out of state). He was quick and detailed in his responses to the 8,000 questions I asked him over a years time. On the day of the wedding he was extremely present and attentive. He has a calming energy that really helped a frantic bride out. Chef Chris (who prepared all our food and crafted our signature cocktails) is an extraordinary chef!! His technical skills, creativity and flavors are out of this world!! He would probably make the most delicious traditional steak and potato wedding plate ever, if that’s what you wanted, but I’d recommend taking advantage of his whimsical menu ideas. We had a smoked tempeh, vegan jambalaya that all our carnivorous guests are still talking about! Also, this man’s fried chicken is something magical and the hot honey chicken biscuits he made us were swoon-worthy and drool-inducing. And he even made the most banging mini stuffed picnic peppers as a passed app to honor my love of stuffed peppers. I could keep going on the food here, but there is a word limit so I’ll move on. Drinks were also outstanding with fresh ingredients like cucumber and mint and the bartenders were so friendly and sweet! All the staff members were excellent! Professional, but also fun and super supportive of the epic celebration!! The dope vibe of this place is apparent at first glance. Their furniture dossier is super cool with a ton of unique chairs, benches, bookshelves, high tops, etc… Simply can’t say enough good things about all aspects of this place and would choose this venue every time if I was a person who could afford throw monthly soirées in New Orleans.

Capulet was the perfect wedding venue. We knew as soon as we toured, this was our space. They were great to work with throughout the planning process. We also used their in-house catering and bar. The food was AMAZING, and we loved the ease in being able to create vegan & other dishes with special diet restrictions for our guests. Our guests are still talking about how great the food was and how cool of a venue it was. Also loved the location in the Bywater neighborhood. Several of our guests drove and had no problem finding free and easy street parking.

Due to the pandemic and our home being in Las Vegas, we booked Capulet as our wedding venue without ever stepping foot inside. From the moment we decided on Capulet, we had no regrets. The owners are incredible, kind, and caring. They put so much love into everything they do, whether it be a facetime tour of the venue, a menu tasting, or just an email checking in. We visited so many venues in New Orleans and no other place made us feel so special, singular, and heard. Steve and Chris listened to what we envisioned and helped make it happen every step of the way. We never felt like we had to follow a template or choose from a pre-determined list. Third of all, Y’ALL. THE FOOD. Chef Chris came up with a menu that had EVERYTHING we wanted and elevated it to a new delicious level. Everyone RAVED about the dinner and said it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had. Fourth of all, the people at Capulet. From Steve and Chris to every single staff person, they took care of us and made sure we had a great time. We (the brides), our wedding party, and all our guests felt truly loved. Capulet is a magical place and we love that we can come on weeknights for dinner and feel a little piece of the magic again. Thank you to Steve, Chris, and the whole staff!

His excitement to explore different foods, ones that would leave guests impressed and break the mold of standard “beef, chicken, fish” menu selections, impressed us so much that stopped looking for any other food options – we were all in! We were especially thrilled that Chris wanted to include foods that were emblematic of New Orleans, without trying to put out a menu that would seem touristy. Safe to say, all of our guests raved about the menu!! Chris and team provided appetizers like crab beignets, fried green chiles, duck fat patatas bravas, and main courses of pork belly and peach mostarda, and a shrimp and grits bar! The whole Capulet team was wonderful – everyone was incredibly welcoming, flexible, and did everything to make our night truly memorable. When our wedding had to be postponed until December 2021, we knew we had made the right choice. Do yourself a HUGE favor and have your wedding at Capulet. Easiest decision of the whole planning process. Steve and Chris are rockstars, the venue is stunning, the staff is amazing. Our wedding in October 2021 was an absolute dream come true thanks to the guys at Capulet. We had our ceremony at a church elsewhere, but I have also seen pictures of ceremonies and it looks amazing. We were even able to accommodate ~225 people without it feeling crazy crowded thanks to the upstairs, mezzanine level and layout that Steve helped me coordinate. The time and effort that Steve put forth with decision making, planning, organizing, sending emails, etc. was one of a kind, and I truly don't think there is a better venue/owner(s) out there. Chris helped us plan specialty cocktails that were unique, local and fun! The vibe is awesome- my husband and I walked in after touring 5 other venues, looked at each other and said ok this is it. Also, go eat and there during the week- it's yummy and Chris will make you an amazing cocktail! Get married here- you absolutely will not regret it!

Our wedding day could not have gone more perfectly. The rooftop ceremony during sunset and the restaurant reception space was gorgeous. Everything was prepared and set up correctly the day of. The food and drinks were outstanding. We received so many compliments from friends and family on the food and generally the wedding overall!I highly recommend choosing catering with Capulet, and I also highly recommend Uncommon Camellia as your wedding coordinator.If you’re concerned about budget (I sure was), there are many ways to save money using what Capulet offers. I loved how our entire wedding was customized and not part of a standard wedding package that gets replicated every weekend like most wedding reception halls. We truly balled on a budget by choosing Capulet!

The event was beautiful, the service was great, but I do have two little things to note:1) we were very rushed to get out the minute we had our exit. We weren’t running behind. We just wanted to pick up the few decorations we brought in, but we were certainly pushed out. 2) out of all of the venues we considered, this was definitely one of the ones that costed the most, but I chose them because it fit our aesthetic and I felt they were very honest. Many of the things we needed for the wedding were not included, unlike many other venues, so that added to the cost. But if this is not a big deal to you, I’d say go for it. I would definitely do it again. Considering this, everything else was truly wonderful. The food was delish. The owners are very relatable. The environment was gorgeous. I would highly recommend this place if you’re budget allows.

While I was initially a little unsure about the warehouse vibe, the space was absolutely transformed into a cozy, sexy dance floor via good lighting, candles and flowers. We splurged last minute on the premium open bar package and it was worth every penny, Chris even managed to serve one of our favorite Spanish varietals. On the wedding morning I had a nervous stomach and couldn't eat and Chris made me a ginger tonic that soothed my jitters and cured my nausea. Thoughtful touches like that throughout the wedding process - accidentally a full two and a half years for us! - made us feel special and seen, not just another cog in the wedding industrial complex. I'm glad that Capulet is also open as a bar/restaurant so we can stop by during future New Orleans trips and venture down memory lane - plus enjoy their amazing cocktails and food.

Capulet really is a wonderful place to get married. I’m a wedding planner and I really have enjoyed working there. Steve was wonderful to work with, very responsive and helpful throughout the entire planning process. We had to make a few changes on the spot on the wedding day and he was able to easily adapt and guide his team to make the couples wedding dreams come true (seriously, rooftop dancing in the rain and it was incredible). I would highly recommend Capulet to any of my future couples, it’s a great place to get married and a really great team to work with!

Capulet really is a wonderful place to get married. I’m a wedding planner and I really have enjoyed working there. Steve was wonderful to work with, very responsive and helpful throughout the entire planning process. We love everything about Capulet! The venue itself is beautiful and spacious and having the roof deck and the mezzanine available provided us with options for ceremony, reception, and places for folks to just generally relax and enjoy the wedding. Steve was amazing through all of the covid ridiculousness (our original date was May 2020!), weathering everything with understanding and flexibility, including pulling off a wonderful event just 10 days after giving the final go post Ida! Steve even secretly teamed up with my sister and husband to seamlessly pull off a surprise flash mob! The food by Chef Gavin and the service staff were amazing (multiple people told us it was the best wedding food they had ever had!) and the bar set up by Chris and the Capulet team were top notch. We are so very happy we were able to have our wedding there!

The Capulet was a wonderful venue for our October wedding! They were incredibly helpful during the entire process. The rooftop is a perfect place for a scenic New Orleans ceremony along the sunset! The food was delicious and they easily accommodated every weird request so that we had a taste of everything we love, even gyros! And even after the event we realized we left a cake stand that we rented, which they promptly shipped for us at their own expense! Highly recommend the Capulet for a perfect New Orleans Bywater experience!

This was the very first venue that we looked at when my husband & I started wedding planning, back in January 2020. Honestly, we looked at a few other places after but none of them stood a chance! Haha. We instantly had a great feeling abt it not only because of the space but because of the staff/owners. Steve and Chris were such a great team to work with when it came down to how/what we wanted the wedding day to look/feel/be like. Also, having our wedding at a venue that was super LGBTQ+ inclusive was a huge bonus for us being a gay couple.From our specially curated food menu/ open bar/ ceremony/ reception service, we are still getting compliments about the food/custom drinks almost 2 weeks later. LOL! The rooftop is perfect for a ceremony (weather permitting) but even though we had a few rain clouds on our special day, the Capulet team helped out so much with a backup rain plan indoors as well as cleaning off the rooftop if we still wanted to have it outside. The indoor space is so huge & open with tons of natural light but also looks great at night with just candles on the banquet tables and mood lighting provided by Capulet. We honestly could not have chosen a better space to have our wedding. All of our guests had an amazing night & we would definitely recommend Capulet to any future couples (especially LGBTQ+) looking for a great venue to host their special day!

We loved Capulet! Capulet is an amazing event venue - We hired them to put on our wedding reception (as we were married during a small ceremony in 2020). The Wedding reception was AMAZING, planning and event logistics/options with Steve was very simple and easy. Steve was very responsive and answered all my questions on different options or ways we could approach our event! Chef Chris worked with us to create an amazing menu - Korean Cajun fusion bring both my and my husband's culture together. The food was INSANE! Everyone could not stop talking about how good all the food was - it was so good!!!! Capulet gives a highly customizable space and menu which other venues could not provide (or would provide at an expensive price point). We entered with a Second Line, had a grand entrance and still have tons of time for eating, dancing and drinking! The entire staff was warm and welcoming. We did not have a care in the world on our special day!

Just back from an amazing wedding weekend. Booking Capulet for our venue was a no-brainer before the pandemic and stress-free during thanks to this amazing staff. Bottom line: Proactive, communicative, easy to work with, and THE FOOD!! If you're looking to get married in New Orleans, you're done here.During the discovery phase Steve didn't even need to be asked before sharing pricing/information with us, and offered a tour of the space over Facetime. He and Chris were both patient with our questions where other venues totally dropped the ball. One of the biggest decisions of planning a wedding (where to have it) became the easiest.Once it became clear we'd have to move our date from November 2020 they handled that too, quickly and efficiently. Within 10 minutes we had a new date. Communicative and reassuring every step of the way, there was never a doubt that our wedding day would be beautiful and perfect no matter what. And it was! Our guests can't stop talking about the beautiful space and how much they loved the bartenders and the drinks. We cannot thank the staff enough for hosting us and making this wedding one for the books!

He was friendly and professional and so accommodating when we had concerns and new ideas. Chris was curated an amazing signature cocktail for us, and the menu was perfect for all of our guests. We received so many compliments on the food and service. It rained the day of, but the indoor ceremony was still gorgeous in their intimate space with uplighting. At the last minute when the rain broke, they had no problem moving the bar and party upstairs to the roof deck. We plan on going back to have dinner as they open back up as a restaurant!

They made me feel heard and safe the entire time we were planning. Our wedding was canceled due to covid restrictions 10 days before the ceremony, and Chris and Steve worked to create an offsite wedding for us that was truly magical! They took most of the stress away from re-planning and brought the party to my parents' house for our wedding. They provided amazing food (seriously, 3 months later and my family is still talking about the brussels sprouts), really great service, and made our day perfect. I so wish we would've gotten to use the beautiful venue space that they have, but the team at Capulet is worth it, even if you have to have a wedding somewhere else! I am so grateful to them for the day they were able to give us.

We booked Capulet for our wedding before the world went crazy based off of the gorgeousness of this place but mainly from the amazing people who work there. We love in California and after some emails and one FaceTime we fell in love, and knew this had to be our venue! The staff here was amazing before you know a global pandemic that may of happened in the year 2020 and oh my goodness they somehow were even more amazing, calm, cool, and collective during all of it! They were so helpful and always staying in communication with us, giving us so many options and just letting us know they were here for us! Our day was gorgeous and magical, the food OH MY GOODNESS THE FOOD was delicious and something people haven’t stopped talking about since! I couldn’t recommend a place but more importantly this amazing group of people more!

We had the most perfect intimate wedding at Capulet, after originally planning for a 120-person event. COVID restrictions forced us to change those plans, but Capulet made sure we could still have the wedding we envisioned, even if on a smaller scale. We ended up hosting 20 guests on the roof and had a beautiful ceremony followed by a romantic sunset dinner (the food was AMAZING, and the chef worked with us to create a custom menu to fit our style and budget). Capulet was also able to help coordinate with our vendors, manage a playlist for us, handle bartending, provide hand sanitizer, etc. They thought of everything and I, miraculously, ended up feeling stress-free on wedding day, thanks to their planning help and impeccable execution. Our guests had a lovely time in a space that felt both intimate and COVID-safe. And while this wasn't what we originally planned, our wedding ended up being absolutely perfect and we would not change a thing. We are so grateful Capulet was able to adjust our original vision to fit with the current restrictions, and I was blown away by their flexibility and willingness to make this work for us! They did everything possible to help us have our dream wedding, even in less than ideal circumstances.

This space is just beautiful! Working with Kelsey (Capulet's wedding coordinator) and Steve (Capulet's manager) leading up to the wedding was wonderful! Very professional and prompt in communication. Day of was great with the perfect floor plan set up at load-in time and water and drinks flowing for my wedding party. There were a few small hitches with wedding coordinator turnover at the venue, the microphones during our ceremony, etc. None of them were big enough to sour our special day, and I would definitely choose Capulet again!

We picked Capulet after visiting about 10 other venues in NOLA. I am originally from the city and my husband and I knew we wanted a reception venue that was a mix of rustic and contemporary. From our first visit, Kelsey treated us like family. She and Steve answered every question we had fully and were always available to chat by phone or email. I also appreciated that we could design the flow of our reception… many other NOLA venues we toured were very traditional and had very specific ways they wanted us to run the night. Kelsey and her team helped us coordinate with My House Social (their catering company) and took a hands-on approach to manage my vendors (although they did not have to!). They also worked well with my event planner. Fast forward to four days before our wedding and we found out our officiant double booked. Kelsey swooped in and recommended someone who ended up being better than our original officiant!! On the day of the wedding, the staff was attentive, organized, and upbeat. They made sure our party was lit, decorations were on point, and the food and booze came out on time. Lastly, I REALLY appreciated Capulet’s upfront pricing (they include tax and gratuity in their packages). There is nothing worse than trying to budget for your wedding and not knowing the final prices of things. We would definitely recommend Capulet for your wedding or event!

Planning our wedding was made much easier thanks to the help of the staff at Capulet and the wonderful vendors they choose to work with. The space consists of a beautiful open hall (pictures do not do it justice!), a fun mezzanine, and a roof deck with city views. Our guests had blast as they moved between the spaced all night. Kelsey was kind enough to do two FaceTime walk-throughs for us ahead of time, and though it looked beautiful in photos and video beforehand - the venue even exceeded our every expectation come wedding day!We had our ceremony on the rooftop (LOVED) and the reception downstairs (as well as a Second Line through the neighborhood in between). I wanted a modern/elegant vibe, and Capulet was PERFECT (lighting! hanging flowers! clean lines!). It's such a beautiful space and serves as the ideal backdrop to layer your own wedding style onto. We could NOT be more pleased.On top of the absolutely gorgeous venue, Stephen and Kelsey were an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the process. They were responsive, detailed (music to my ears, as I'm incredibly particular), and went absolutely above and beyond. Most importantly, they were willing to be flexible and creative where possible, which is a such a rare (and amazing) quality to find in a wedding vendor. We had the Rehearsal Dinner & Welcome Party at Capulet for our son's wedding in mid Oct 2019. It was a destination wedding, so not being in NOLA made the planning a little challenging. We did a lot of planning via email back-&-forth with the Capulet people. The staff at Capulet, and Katherine with My House Social made it all come off very well! A friend from Chicago decorated the space & did the floral arrangements for the event, & the staff accommodated her to put all that together that day. The food was fantastic.... my son & his fiancé chose a menu that was Vietnamese/Cajun fusion, and the ribs were very well liked, along with the rest of the buffet. The space was great for the event.... we had the rehearsal dinner first, with the tables/chairs set up for eating. After 1.5 hours, the rest of the guests arrived for the Welcome Party and the staff seamlessly changed the buffet for that event, & made changes to the room to accommodate the crowd, a small band, & dancing space. The staff was helpful, efficient, and all went so well. We were so relieved that all the guests had a blast, and the space looked so festive! Thanks Capulet!

We are so grateful for them - a special shout out to Kelsey and Steve for all you did to help us realize our vision and to host all our loved ones in your beautiful space. We appreciate you!Speaking of the space...the bar, the brick wall, the plants, the fact that there's a clear main room, an upstairs, and a roof deck...not much else you can ask for. When we walked into Capulet after our second line, we were in awe at how beautifully they set everything up for our reception. We're so happy to have chosen Capulet for this special day in our lives.

We are so thankful that we decided to host our wedding at Capulet. We booked before they were even open, and we chose the space partly because it was beautiful and partly because Kelsey and Steve (and the rest of the staff) are so nice! After we booked our date, I would occasionally come in for lunch or coffee just to walk around and think of how I wanted things to go- they welcomed me every time. Kelsey is also super creative, so as we brainstormed, she kept introducing excellent new ideas. Capulet's preferred caterer and coordinator is My House Social, and they are absolute pros as well. We had a beautiful ceremony on the roof, followed by a rooftop cocktail hour- they created a signature cocktail for the rooftop bar to serve. People were able to get a drink before the ceremony started, which I think they appreciated :) The reception was all in the main space downstairs- a large open space with a beautiful mezzanine. We didn't want to do a sit down dinner- we wanted more of a party vibe- and Capulet is really versatile. Just perfect!

We held a rooftop ceremony, followed by cocktail hour, a family style dinner and reception downstairs and each detail was perfection. The industrial modern vibe is the perfect backdrop for photos! Really its such a beautiful space you don't even need much decor. We chose to do our first looks and photos on location and I couldn't be happier. Do yourself a favor and skip the overpriced traditional venues for this Bywater gem.

My husband and I held our wedding reception at Capulet on April 6, 2019. We got married at Blessed Francis Seelos across the street, followed by a second line around the Bywater, a cocktail hour on Capulet's roof, and a reception in the main room - it all flowed seamlessly! The rooftop is a great outdoor space with a view of the city and church steeple, and the main room is stunning with exposed brick walls, metal beams, and a beautiful art deco-style bar. We loved having use of the VIP room and mezzanine as well. Our guests loved the space.Kelsey and Steve were great to work with throughout the process. They are friendly, professional, and responsive and clearly make customer service a priority. While Capulet is a new venue and all processes hadn't been fully solidified, Kelsey always made sure we were in the loop and that our preferences were accommodated. I would definitely recommend Capulet for any couples looking for an amazing indoor-outdoor venue with character in a great neighborhood. I would not recommend their preferred caterer, My House Social, which I have reviewed separately.

I could not have dreamed for a better reception venue then Capulet. Where to begin with Capulet? Firstly the staff is amazing. The whole process was efficient and professional from to start to finish. This was achieved without being stuffy or disingenuous. From the get go everything was handled in a very timely manner. They are also very concerned with representing you and your relationship. I felt very taken care of. Day-of service was also fantastic. You can tell that they worked hard to cultivate a great team. The venue itself is beautiful. It has beautiful ceilings, great plants, a killer rooftop, and funky furniture. It also has great potential to bring in more decorations if one wishes. It is a huge space that is still comfortable but can hold a large number of guests easily. Lastly, the food was amazing. We opted for a mix of vegan and non-vegan offerings. Everything was cooked on-site and my guests could not stop raving about how delicious everything was. One guest even said that it was the best wedding spread that he has ever had. If you are looking for a beautiful space and want your wedding to be in capable hands, don't hesitate to check out Capulet!

Capulet was a literal god send to me and my husband while we were planning our wedding winter 2018. Our rehearsal dinner venue ended up closing one month before our rehearsal dinner and we were so lucky to find Capulet on a friend's recommendation! The staff is phenomenally easy to work with, they really went out of their way to help us have a beautiful rehearsal dinner. The venue is gorgeous, spacious, well-kept, but still has character and a NOLA feel. It's really quite large and customizable to your needs. Also it's a very fair price- we got a full bar with great selections for the same price of just wine and beer at our original location. We selected the Cuban food caterer that Steve suggested and it was AMAZING. Everyone was raving about how comfortable, delicious, and beautiful our event was. After the weekend was over, my husband and I found ourselves wishing we'd had the whole wedding there because they were truly such a delight to work with. Could not recommend more!!!

Capulet was with us every step of the way, from planning to the actual execution of the event. Stephen and Kelsey were so helpful and we couldn't be happier with them. They were able to work very closely with the catering vendor to meet all our needs as well, which was a huge plus. We used the beautiful roofdeck for the ceremony which turned out really great, the venue itself was also a huge selling point because we wanted a rustic look for the wedding. They had plenty of space and amenities to make the event such a success. All of our guests, and especially us, were so thoroughly impressed that we would recommend this venue to anyone in the New Orleans area. We couldn't be happier!

I couldn’t be happier with how my wedding and reception at capulet turned out. Capulet as a space is beautiful, and the staff as a team are personable, accommodating, and quick to respond. My husband and I relocated from Louisiana to DC about a year ago, but we both knew we wanted a wedding in New Orleans. Kelsey went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable planning from afar. She was the only venue coordinator in Louisiana who FaceTimed with me so that I could get a better feel of the space. She quickly answered countless questions both before and after we signed a contract. She was also our day of coordinator and ensured that everything flowed like a dream. She knew what I wanted and delicately handled any pushy or opinionated family to make sure that my day stayed on track with my vision. (This is an invaluable skill) Because of their dedication to straight forward and clear pricing, my venue, bar, and food budgets were some of the only costs that didn’t go up throughout the planning process. You know upfront exactly what part of your cost goes to goods, taxes, and service/gratuity. I can’t tell you how helpful this is, because even when you think you’ve planned for everything, little costs that slipped your mind tend to pop up. I HIGHLY recommend this venue for a wedding, reception, rehearsal dinner, lunch and cocktail spot. I can’t wait to come by the next time I’m in town.

Capulet was absolutely perfect for my partner, Alexandra and I to celebrate our wedding. We loved the cool and modern warehouse. The interior is airy and all the unique spaces can really be customized to make a personalized affair. It was perfect for our tropical florals and exotic flair. AND THE ROOFTOP...LOVE!Stephen, Kelsey, and their team worked with us to make our reception absolutely gorgeous, on the timeline we provided, and flawless. Prior to the big night, they were available to answer questions, suggest/coordinate with vendors and create floor layouts. They even made adjustments up until the last minute. The catering options are extensive and we had over 40 companies to choose from. Kelsey was instrumental in helping us find a caterer within our budget while keeping with our theme.The staff was so exceptional and professional. We truly felt that they were so happy for us and our family to enjoy ourselves. We were having such a good time that we extended the party for another hour! It was an amazing experience and I wouldn't think twice before recommending it to anyone planning a wedding, reception, or event.

We were one of the first wedding receptions Capulet hosted, and we were honestly amazed at how great of an experience we had -- they're new but absolutely do not hesitate to work with them for any event. Clearly experienced professionals running the show there.About the venue, awesome modern space that fit our 150 guest/8p band reception perfectly. Great flow, nice \"extra\" side spaces, and the mezzanine area was a really cool bonus. We didn't end up using the roof area due to weather but with a bar and killer view no doubt it would've been great as well.About the staff, Kelsey is a rockstar -- extremely responsive, accommodating, always on top of all the details, and generally great to work with from the day we met to the days leading up and even on/after the wedding. Chris and Stephen clearly cared a lot about ensuring things went smoothly as well. Service staff at the reception itself were very professional and friendly.Thank you all again for an amazing evening, and anyone feel free to contact me for more details. P.S. ask about the disco ball to spice up the night :)

I cannot say enough amazing things about Chris, Stephen, Kelsey and all the staff at Capulet. Leading up to our date they were incredibly attentive and and responsive to any questions we had. The day of the wedding and night before they were super accommodating and really helped the reception flow easy and worked with us on a potential rain plan. Overall they really made us feel at ease and excited to be working not only with Capulet but with the team themselves.The day of the wedding they let us use their \"green room\" area to get ready and had chilled sparkling wine ready for us. Additionally, when the bride needed a steamer at the last minute Stephen went out and found her one!The reception went off without a hitch and the space itself is so beautiful we only bothered to throw up a few flowers and a small garland. The raw beauty of the space makes over the top decorations un-necessary, but if you do want to decorate the staff is more than happy to help.A note about food: We had a vegan wedding and my wife is allergic to onions. that is a rough combo but they made amazing food and my south Louisiana family loved the food (ask them to make you Brussels Sprouts for your wedding, I am serious) and actually enjoyed eating tofu. If you have any dietary restrictions or weird requests, I cannot recommend Capulet enough.

Our wedding experience was superb. If you are looking for a great space to host an event, I highly recommend checking out Capulet. You will not be disappointed!
