Situated in Hamden, CT, Cascade Fine Catering is a deluxe wedding venue operated by the Landino family. Inspired by the Italian word for waterfall, “cascata”, this picturesque destination features a stunning water feature and scenic surroundings. To-be-weds can host their entire wedding journey at this enchanting spot, with the option of a garden ceremony and a refined reception in the banquet hall. The beautiful building boasts classic architecture, pristine white walls, and an outdoor balcony overlooking the estate. Since 2004, Pietro and Antonietta Landino have welcomed happy couples to their wonderful wedding venue. Alongside their three daughters, they have built a reputation for refined receptions that center on premium service and exquisite catering. Exchange vows under a white pergola, with views of the cascading waterfall. Afterward, enjoy a feast inside the lavish foyer and banquet hall. Elegant Austrian chandeliers, Persian rugs, and classic furnishings set the tone for sophisticated celebrations. The 3,800-square-foot ballroom can accommodate large soirées for 350 guests and can be curated for intimate affairs, too. We booked our wedding at Cascade two years out from our chosen date. It was the very first venue we had toured, and was set up so beautifully with Christmas decorations. The pricing was EXTREMELY affordable, compared to all the other venues we were looking at. We were originally hoping to have a fall themed wedding, but after seeing the decor they had up (and the off peak pricing) we confidently decided on a winter wedding. We saved at least $1,000 on decorations alone, due to them having their own beautiful set up for the winter season. Rosa was extremely fun to coordinate with, and we always got into contact with someone right away when we had questions leading up to the big day. Silvana was always there if we wanted to stop in for any quick looks, or any detailed questions. And on the wedding day itself she was the first one to snap a few pictures of us on her personal phone, thrilled to see our vision come to life with her help.The guests raved about everything from the service to the set up and coordination. But what people spoke of the most (including us) was the food. My husband and I are huge food lovers and melted at the first few bites of the food. We had a buffet styled dinner for our wedding for our 125 guests. Even with the refills on trays, the guests completely cleared every drop of food down to the pan. I would love to relive our wedding day for a variety of reasons, but the food is one of the biggest memories. The staff took care of my husband and I the entire night, grabbing our food and drinks for us all night. The blonde bartender with the glasses (I wish I caught her name), literally sent me away from waiting at the bar and risked her life to bring me my drink in the middle of a very chaotic dance floor. I have so many good memories from our day, but I truly don't thank many of them would have been possible without all their help. No matter the season, I seriously recommend using them for your venue for any occasion. I plan to go to as many of their future public events just for the sake of seeing Rosa & Silvana again AND of course - the food.

BOOK NOW!!! I cannot recommend Cascade enough! My husband and I had the BEST day of our life at our wedding here. Our friends and family cannot stop talking about it, even months later. Rosa and her team were so incredibly thoughtful and generous in everything they did. They were flexible and genuinely heard what we envisioned. The décor and the food were absolutely outstanding. They even wrapped up everyone’s meals to take home if they did not finish, as portions were very generous. We cannot wait to hold a future event with them. My husband and I got married in August 2022 at Cascade. We worked with Rosa from start to the end. She had so much experience and that shined through. We didn’t need a wedding coordinator because we had her. She set us up perfectly, and prepared us for “plan b” when the weather didn’t cooperate. She had the room set EXACTLY how we imagined it.The food was absolutely amazing. Everything. The service team was the best I’d ever experienced. The venue is stunning, parking is plentiful.We literally had a perfect day, Rosa & Cascade were a big factor in that.I would (and have) recommend them to everyone. Five stars.

I cannot say enough good things about Cascade and Rosa. The moment I met with her you get a sense of comfort, family, and professionalism. She handled every detail always kept a timeline to tell me when to do what. Her recommendations were all top notch. Our guests have non stop been raving about the food, the drinks, and the amazing party that our wedding was. None of our amazing night would be possible without Rosa and her team. I don't eat salmon but multiple people said it was the best salmon they've ever had. The eggplant was as If my mom cooked it. I can go on and on about how amazing everything was. I never dreamed of a fairytale wedding but they truly gave me one because I felt like such a princess. Rosa is above and beyond. My mom as well as my entire family and guests were blown away. Cacaades staff will walk you thru everything and make you feel like a family member from the start of planning to helping you pack at the end of the night. Book Cascade you will not regret it. And thank you for making our wedding the best night of our lives!

My husband and I had our wedding on 7/8/22. We had our ceremony in the garden, cocktail hour in front of the waterfall, and reception in the ball room. Rosa and her team checked in on us throughout the day and made sure we were taken care of. She answered all our questions throughout the planning process and was patient about all the questions, requests, and ideas we had. The evening flew by but our guests and I had a great time. The venue was beautiful and we had such a memorable wedding.

We had our wedding at Cascade July 9 of this year. As soon as I saw the beautiful garden and waterfall features outside I knew this was the perfect place. It’s just the perfect place to have an outdoor summer wedding. Rosa worked with me during the planning process and made everything easy. Our guests loved everything especially the food. While all that was great the actual wedding day for me was unbelievably stressful and it all was caused by a major lack of organization and communication from the staff at Cascade. My now husband and I made a few trips to the venue and each time Rosa had no idea who we were. She had to ask for our names and the wedding date even at our last meeting which was one weeks prior. On our wedding day I arrived to find another wedding in progress despite being told very clearly that only one event takes place at a time. I asked the very unhelpful staff member who was ushering in guests where my bridal room was, to which he answered it’s in use but I could sit in the sales office. After that confusion I asked to take to Rosa, again the only person I had worked with up until this point and she was nowhere to be found. Another woman who’s name I don’t recall associated us by mostly barking orders at me. Once our ceremony started the guests from the other wedding started to file out and many stood around staring at me which was so uncomfortable. During the reception I was annoyed to see the custom made welcome sign I asked to be set up for guests to use as a guest book was on the floor and the provided markers were missing. Also we had a relative who is allergic to onions and arranged a special meal did not get her food. It was as if that conversation never happened. I really could keep going about all the small details that were overlooked or lied about but instead I’ll just say if you want to feel special on your special day you should look at another venue.

Overall it was a great night. I just don't like being lied to so that ruined it for me. we had spent $400 on freeze dried rose petals to be put out and we were told tbey would be put out last minute if there was wind. we'll they forgot to put them out there wasnt even ant wind this day. when we asked them about it they said they didn't put them out because of the wind... but there was no wind that day. I would have been ok with an honest mistake and a refund of some sort but instead we get lie about how there was supposedly wind.

Rosa is AMAZING and she was willing to work with us and create a package that met our needs. She and her team did not disappoint! I am absolutely blown away by Rosa and her team at Cascade! I highly recommend this venue. They helped me plan every detail of our big day, and Rosa was extremely responsive through email/phone calls/meetings. It was scary to plan a wedding during Covid, but Rosa made it stress free while still complying with all safety precautions. The day of, our outdoor ceremony was absolutely stunning, the food at our reception was delicious, and our guests had an amazing time. Rosa and her staff were also so kind to our son and two young nieces, it was such a special experience.

Our wedding was Sunday, August 9th 2020. Rosa and all of the Cascade crew did a phenomenal job setting up and coordinating the entire night. Although COVID impacted our day, Rosa went above and beyond to make sure our day was as beautiful as possible while following all of the COVID health and safety laws. Our day was so much better than I could have ever imagined. We will cherish this day for a lifetime. Thank you so much for everything you have done!

Then with COVID all the stress of a wedding went through the roof! Cascade was beyond helpful, they called us and checked in, they sent emails they did all they could! The beautiful day went off without a hitch and they were beyond amazing! They covered signature drinks, were amazing with the guests and really minimized our stress. All of our guests were well taken care of, had any concerns handled, they even set up our memorial table! Everyone was raving about how great the food was and they made buying a cake a piece of well… CAKE! You can go through them or you can pick your own! My big fat Greek family had the best time at Cascade for my wedding reception. Rosa and the whole entire staff were exceptional! The venue was absolutely gorgeous! I highly recommend Cascade Fine Catering!

Had my wedding on September 20th 2019 Cascade was seriously such a gorgeous venue! We chose it because I’ve been there before and knew already that the food was incredible and I looove the high ceilings! Most venues have those short ceilings which I feel makes it feel stuffy but cascade is so open and beautiful!! The food of course did not fail one bit! It had so much flavor and is seasoned so well! I’ve had so much bland boring wedding food other places. The only thing I would say is that they started sending tables to get food from the buffet before the bride and groom which was a little funny. But overall it was amazing and wouldn’t change my venue for the world!!

I can't say enough great things about this venue! They were wonderful to work with to help plan my wedding! They were very accommodating and allowed me to make changes and swap items when needed. I was organized so I think that also made everything easier, especially when it came to food. I had certain guests at my wedding with food allergies and Cascade accommodated them all. They allowed me to bring in my own cake from my selected baker and I wasn't charge any cake cutting fee. I also added the extreme ice cream bar to my wedding and that was a big hit! All the food was great! They allowed me to drop off items to the venue a couple of days before the wedding which made things easier, since it was in their hands and I didn't have to worry about any of those details. The venue was decorated beautifully since I got married in the winter season and added a nice touch to my wedding decor. I highly recommend this venue.

From the day we first walked into Cascade, we knew it would be the perfect venue for us. It is one of the most beautiful venues I have ever seen and has gotten even better with some of the updates that have been made over the past few years. It was the perfect backdrop for all of our wedding photos. The service we received from Rosa and her team throughout the planning process and on our wedding day was amazing. Every question we had was answered very quickly and any request was followed through perfectly. The days leading up to our wedding were as stress free as possible. We just dropped everything off at the venue and when we arrived, it was all set up beautifully. On our wedding day, everything went so smoothly and it was even better than we could have dreamed of. The food is probably the best food I have ever had at any wedding venue. We had high expectations since all of our vendors raved about the food when we met with them and we were definitely impressed. Friends and family are still talking about how perfect every last detail of our wedding was, well over a year later. We have everyone at Cascade to thank for that. We couldn’t have asked for a better team to work with!

We worked with \"Rosa\" who couldn't have been more accommodating. From start to finish not one single complaint! Would highly recommend this venue! Garden was in full bloom with beautiful flowers and waterfall! Picture perfect!

Domenic, Rosa and Alexa were unbelievable from start to finish helping us plan and assuring us that everything was going to work out just as we had hoped. The food was fantastic and the ballroom for the reception was great. On September 23rd my husband and I had the most magical ceremony, cocktail hour and reception at Cascades. Rosa, Alexis and the whole team were amazing to work with from the beginning of the planning process until the last dance. Working with Rosa to plan everything from the ceremony, to welcoming guests, cocktail hour and the reception was absolutely amazing. She has wonderful ideas that I never thought of. Their packages are so reasonable and the extras they can provide are by far the best we've encountered and trust me visited a lot of venues on our journey to the alter. From the moment we met Rosa at our first meeting, without starting the tour we both knew this wonderful place was where we would get married. There was so much food and drinks, our guests are still talking about how ours was the best wedding they have every attended. Alexis and her team did an amazing job taking our decorations and making our vision come to life! The staff that waited on us while we were preparing to walk down the isle were magnificent. The two bartenders of them even noticed I wasn't buttoned up into my dress properly and dropped everything to help my mother fix my dress seconds before I walked down the isle. We also had a snafu with the seating chart and Rosa and team were there to fix it without my knowing until after to avoid stressing me out!!! From the moment we saw the pergola I knew that was where we should have our ceremony. I couldn't have imagined it any better than they prepared it for my day. The beautiful cobblestone walk past the waterfall to the pergola is a photographic dream. I have seen the preview of the photos the photographer took and they are beautiful. One thing my husband has OCD about is cleanliness and this venue went above and beyond his expectations. He could not stop talking about how clean Cascades is both inside and outside compared to some of the other venues we had seen. The entire staff were friendly and attentive and helped our guests have the time of their lives at our wedding. All my husband and I wanted was for our guest to have a great time, and that's exactly what was delivered. From being greeted with a glass of Rose before the ceremony, to being stuffed during cocktail hour, the delicious buffet style dinner, the late night pizza and dessert bar; no one left hungry. If I could give Cascade a million stars, I would. The team here treats you like family and make the wedding planning process so simple. I didn't even hire a wedding planner because I had Rosa :). Go see Cascades to book your wedding, there is no way you can be disappointed; unless they don't have your date, but just pick another one like we did! I wish I could do it all over again

My husband and I had a long engagement, so we had plenty of time when it came to choosing our reception venue. We easily looked at 20 different places across Connecticut, but the minute that we toured Cascade, we knew it would be the one. The venue is spacious, spotless, and spectacular. The staff is beyond patient and willing to answer any and all questions. They will respond to calls and emails rapidly, and sit for meetings whenever you feel it necessary. Domenic, Rosa, and Alexa guided my family, who had never planned a wedding, through the entire process--from choosing a menu to the seating chart. I knew that, no matter what, the reception would be everything that I dreamed of. I met with Rosa the week of the wedding and trucked in with a ton of props and decorations. She made sure that everything was exactly how I envisioned it--I wouldn't have changed a thing had I been able to set up myself (and as a true control freak, I really wanted to). My guests are still talking about how fantastic the food is (I HIGHLY recommend the mac and cheese station) , how friendly all of the staff was, and how beautiful the venue is. The guests, like Joe and I, loved being the only wedding there, having a separate space for cocktail hour, the gorgeous outdoor patios, the fabulous lobby and bar, the private space for the bridal suites, the huge, cleanly bathrooms, and of course the all wood ballroom floor (complete with chandeliers--just like Beauty and the Beast), which left plenty of room for dancing. We had about 200 people in attendance, and had an abundance of space, while still feeling intimate. I would guide any of my friends or family members toward Cascade for a wedding or any type of party--it'll be an event you'll never forget!

We also added the Belgium Waffle Ice Cream Sundae Station. Impressive display*They let me bring in any special touches I wanted.Our kids are at the age where we are constantly going to weddings, and I am not easily impressed, but Cascade gave us a Fairy Tale Wedding in every sense of the word.

Lots to say about this place! Food: The food is their trademark. They have delicious, high quality food with incredible presentation, taste, and portions. Our guests kept expressing how impressed they were. They did a great job of making sure the wedding party had plenty to eat and drink while we were getting ready and taking photos. Venue: Easy to find, plenty of parking, beautifully maintained building and grounds. Recently renovated so this place looks brand new. First class all the way. Lots of options here. Staff: Great personalities, lots of fun, and very dedicated and experienced. More than once, staff came to our rescue to do things like brainstorm ideas, give advice, and even helped with my insanely complicated bustle. My husband had foot surgery right before the wedding and they helped us figure out how to stage everything for his mobility. Price: There are a lot of options here and you can customize for your budget. We chose the Winter Wedding Special, which was an incredible package with perks and since our wedding day fell in early April (the week before Easter), we had beautiful, warm weather. I would definitely put Cascade on your list of places to see and seriously consider for your wedding or any other event!

We never once worried about a thing having you two by our sides on our wedding day. We knew we were well taken care of. The food was excellent and you had all our guests talking about it for days. I had my wedding at Cascade this July, it was absolutely amazing! Alexa, Rosa and Dom helped me plan the wedding of my dreams. My guests still are talking about the stuffed lobster tail and filet mignon dinner. The whole staff was very friendly and helpful. My bridal party had two head waitresses, Angela and Jessica, they brought us appetizers and drinks during cocktail hour. They helped me with my wedding dress when my bridesmaids were too busy enjoying the party. Our ceremony was in the gardens, then cocktail hour in the Garden Room, plenty of food, drinks and seating for my guests. Then the reception was in the main ballroom, which looked so elegant. We danced all night long, and at the end, my head waitresses even packed everything up for us. If I had to do it all over again, I would only change one thing, I would add more time to the party. It flew by so fast, and even though we danced all night long, I wish it didnt have to end. Thank you everyone from Cascade ! I loved every second of my wedding!!!!

My guests still are talking about the stuffed lobster tail and filet mignon dinner. The whole staff was very friendly and helpful. My bridal party had two head waitresses, Angela and Jessica, they brought us appetizers and drinks during cocktail hour. They helped me with my wedding dress when my bridesmaids were too busy enjoying the party. Our ceremony was in the gardens, then cocktail hour in the Garden Room, plenty of food, drinks and seating for my guests. Then the reception was in the main ballroom, which looked so elegant. We danced all night long, and at the end, my head waitresses even packed everything up for us. If I had to do it all over again, I would only change one thing, I would add more time to the party. It flew by so fast, and even though we danced all night long, I wish it didnt have to end. Thank you everyone from Cascade ! I loved every second of my wedding!!!!

I was weary about booking any site that seems to pump out weddings weekend after weekend but, after getting recommendations from two close friends and my coworker, my husband and I decided to reach out to Cascade. We had almost 300 guests (Italian/Greek wedding) which made me nervous to begin with! Cascade had open dates in the fall which I wanted first and foremost (not many but enough to even consider them), very reasonable pricing compared to other venues in the area, excellent food (in my opinion and that was mentioned by almost all of our guests) and Rosa and the team are also so personable, flexible and fun to work with! The entire staff reminds me of my Italian family and they made the whole process easy and stress-free! Not to mention, the interior and exterior of the venue are constantly being updated with great new features, beautiful décor and pretty details that I certainly appreciated. I also loved, unlike most venues, that Cascade didn't have obnoxious carpeting or wall paper. Again, it's a small detail but it made picking décor much easier and I was able to pick colors and items that I wanted rather than what went with the venue. All of our guests said they had an amazing time and the room fit us with more than enough room to spare - and yes, we did quite a bit of dancing! Another point worth mentioning is that food was served quickly and with great quality. Out of all 24 tables, no one was left waiting for their entrée while another guest was moving on to the dance floor. If you're looking for a great experience in planning your wedding, then go to Cascade. They know what they're doing and there was never an point in the process where I felt unsure and if I did, I simply asked the staff and they had an immediate and very helpful answer for us!

We could not imagine a more perfect place to have had our wedding in September. From the first meeting we had with Rosa I knew immediately I wanted to get married here. Rosa was SO personable as well as professional and made me feel very at ease with every crazy question or request I had. The ballroom is absolutely beautiful and the grounds are stunning. We were able to get married outside in the back and it was stunning. We did a station set up for our dinner and everyone could not stop raving about the food. The brand new bar that was just built is also gorgeous. Dominic also was super helpful answering my emails right away. Alexa was more than attentive the day of and my husband and myself never were without a drink :) She was always checking on us to make sure everything was perfect. My husband and I had our dream wedding become a reality at Cascade Fine Catering! The beautiful gardens and waterfalls look stunning from every angle outside throughout the summer, the double staircase leading into the ballroom makes for an impressive entrance, and there is a separate room for the cocktail hour with a full bar and outdoor access. We also chose cascade due to the fact that we were the only wedding going on so the staff was completely dedicated to us, we didn't worry about sharing the grounds, or any other part of our special day with another couple. We attended the food tasting, which was for an additional cost and cash only so beware, as well as the bridal fair which was useful for finding a bakery for the cake. The food at cascade is absolutely phenomenal and I haven't had anything there that i did not enjoy, especially the filet mignon, stuffed sole, and clams casino. The staff at cascade - Rosa, Dom, and Alexa - were wonderful throughout the entire year of planning, very informative, always willing to help, and so friendly. Rosa was present for the night of the reception, and constantly checked in that all was going as planned, brought extra hors d'oeuvres to the bridal suite for the bridal party, personally bustled my dress for me, served the groom and I an extra entree, and overall was so helpful, but not overbearing. I had no complaints for the entire reception; our wedding reception was perfect thanks to this gorgeous venue and wonderful staff! We could not be more pleased!

Our wedding took place on 8/31/2014. I found Cascade while taking a walk one beutiful saturday morning and i abaolutely fell in love with it. Rosa was the icing on the cake we clicked from our first meeting and she was so understanding of our cultural needs. We are both Nigerian and needed a package that would be flexible enough to allow us cater the main dishes. Even though this is not the norm as Cascade has a full kitchen, Rosa made it happen and gave us the best deal! We thoroughly enjoyed working with her, so did our wedding planner and cannot say thank you enought for everything! \rCascade is a gorgeous location and one of its kind for an elegant wedding. Our guests loved the quality service of the staff.

Our wedding took place on 8/31/2014. I found Cascade while taking a walk one beutiful saturday morning and i abaolutely fell in love with it. Rosa was the icing on the cake we clicked from our first meeting and she was so understanding of our cultural needs. We are both Nigerian and needed a package that would be flexible enough to allow us cater the main dishes. Even though this is not the norm as Cascade has a full kitchen, Rosa made it happen and gave us the best deal! We thoroughly enjoyed working with her, so did our wedding planner and cannot say thank you enought for everything! \rCascade is a gorgeous location and one of its kind for an elegant wedding. Our guests loved the quality service of the staff.

We cannot say enough great things about the service, professionalism and experience we had at Cascade Fine Catering in Hamden CT for our recent wedding. From our first visit to the follow up and thank you emails (from them), the staff at Cascade was top notch and made me feel so comfortable about hosting my wedding at their venue. We worked with Rosa from start to finish, and she truly made my dream wedding come true. She was extremely attentive to all of my questions, and went out of her way to make sure that all of my crazy requests happened, even a pretzel/hot nuts truck to provide our guests with a NY style snack for the ride home!\r\rEvery single detail of our wedding plan came to life on November 7th - when we walked into Cascade and saw all of our personalized decorations and details displayed perfectly we were absolutely thrilled. The attention my husband and I and the bridal party received was top notch, especially when they made sure that we had plenty of food and drinks while doing our photos. Rosa checked in throughout the night to make sure that things were running smoothly and we were happy with everything.\r\rThe entire night went off without a hitch, and our guests are still raving about the incredible food, drinks, decor and details of our perfect day. Everyone went crazy for the mashed potato bar at cocktail hour, and loved the dessert bar with all of the Italian goodies, not to mention the meal itself - we have heard from multiple people that the filet was the best they've ever had! The pretzel/nut truck that Rosa coordinated was perfect, and our guests loved it!\r\rThese words do no justice to the service that Cascade provided us, and the incredible memories we have from our perfect wedding. The staff truly knows how to make a wedding flow perfectly, and allowed my husband and I to fully enjoy our day without worrying about anything. Cascade Fine Catering was the perfect place to have our reception. We cannot say enough good things about the place, their staff, and the food! Everything went flawlessly the day of. Rosa is extremely friendly, professional, flexible, and down to earth. Working with her really made the wedding planning process easy! She responded to all of my emails in a timely manner and met with us anytime we had any questions or concerns. They provide so many different options as to set up, decor, menu, etc. We loved the fact that cocktail hour is held in a separate room to keep the main ballroom a surprise to our guests. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and we chose to take all of our pictures right there! They came out gorgeous. Rosa went above and beyond to help me research a specific type of table linen that I was interested in. All of our guests are still constantly raving about how good the food was! Even though we did stations, there were still so many fun and creative options for us to try. The staff was very attentive and friendly throughout the whole reception. We love the fact that the tables are oval and that the entire ballroom can be the dance floor since it is all hardwood! It made it easier for us to spend time with all of our guests. The decor is gorgeous with the beautiful chandeliers and grand staircase for an entrance. Our day wouldn't have been as perfect without Cascade. We are extremely happy with our choice in reception venue!

We knew Cascade was going to throw us an awesome wedding....but they hit it out of the park. More than we could have ever hoped for. Rosa and Dominic were both fantastic to work with. We did not want to have one of those weddings where everyone leaves starving and hunting for the nearest drive-thru. The food was phenomenal and there was so much. Every guest we talked to said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. It is a gorgeous venue. All of the staff was spectacular (thank you Junior!!) and followed our extremely meticulous instructions to a tee. Every detail was executed exactly as we wanted. We could not have asked for better. Thank you so much. It was a dream.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful Cascade is! The venue and gardens are lovely, the staff is wonderful! The food was presented in an elegant manner and guests raved about the filet mignon! They did all they could to make the wedding and reception everything that the bride and groom wanted. They set up our favors and decorations with grace and ease. They went above and beyond to make every aspect of the wedding beautiful and memorable. They made all the guests feel more than welcome. All our traditions and special requests were granted- What a lovely memorable day for our son and his new bride - what a way to start their life together! Customs from both of our families were presented in a beautiful and respectful way- I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to have a day to remember fondly for many years to come. Impressive, beautiful, elegant and exceptional are just some of the descriptions that come to mind. I and our whole family were more than satisfied with Cascade. I would tell anyone who wanted a wonderful experience to look no further- this is the place! We had two weddings this year our daughter in June and our son in October this review is for my son's wedding in Oct.2014.

I had always envisioned a dream wedding growing up. After seeing what Cascade had to offer my fiancee and I knew without seeing any other venue that Cascade was perfect for us. Cascade Fine Catering was my dream-come-true venue for our wedding on Sept. 6, 2014! Not only is the venue absolutely beautiful inside & out with gorgeous grounds complete with waterfalls, flower gardens, stonework, dual staircases for our entrance, hard wood dance floor, high ceilings, crystal chandeliers, (the list goes on!) but, their service & food was incomparable. Our wedding coordinator Rosa (and all the wait staff/bartenders) were always checking on us to make sure our every need was met the night of our wedding. Previous to that night, Rosa was always there, working closely with my Mother & I whenever we called with questions. She was one-of-a-kind in helping us in the early stages of figuring out what type of package best suited us. She was so helpful, caring and friendly and an absolute pleasure to work with!\r\rFrom our guests I am still receiving compliments about the amazing food at Cascade. From the cocktail hour to our three course dinner, the food was out of this world. Also, when one of the wait staff heard that a few of our relatives were Gluten-Free, they immediately asked the chef to prepare a gluten-free batch of pasta to serve to those guests. It feels really good to have guests come up to you at your wedding and tell you that!! At Cascade's we felt so at ease because we were in such great hands!\r\rI honestly cannot say enough about Cascade. My experience with Cascade was truly amazing! My husband and I had looked at a few other venues in the area but once we met with Rosa all bets were off! She was so helpful and really a pleasure to work with. The venue itself is what I can best describe as timeless with it's beautiful hardwood/marble floors and stunning chandeliers. It doesn't have that outdated hotel carpeting (which to some may be a small thing but it just looks horrible in pictures!). Our guests were so pleased with all of the food from cocktail hour to the reception! There were so many options to choose from and it was all delicious! But what really makes Cascade one of...if not THE best place to have your wedding...it's the service! On the day of the wedding Christina was our coordinator and she was excellent! She made sure everything ran smoothly and insured I could just enjoy my day with no stress! We had our own personal waitress who made sure we actually ate at our wedding (seems like a simple thing...but it's not!). Also, the bartenders who made sure our glasses were always full with whatever we were drinking! \rI would highly recommend Cascade for a wedding or any formal occasion! It's been exactly a month since the wedding and all of our guests are still raving about how wonderful it was!

From the moment my fiance and I saw Cascade, we knew it was the perfect place to hold our wedding reception. Rosa, the general manager, is extremely personable, so sweet and helpful, and extremely experienced. She understood exactly what we needed when we described our desire to incorporate elements from our very different cultural backgrounds, and she worked with us to achieve our vision flawlessly. She was always available for questions and her advice was spot-on. The venue is gorgeous and felt absolutely magical with the elegant decor and beautiful outdoor space. All our guests were absolutely raving about the appetizers during cocktail hour, and the dinner and desserts were fantastic. Hands-down the best wedding catering I have ever experienced. Also, Cascade gives you a choice of bakeries from which to order your cake, and our cake provided by J Cakes was moist and delicious and tastefully decorated. The waitstaff was attentive and professional and I felt so at ease knowing Rosa was there to make sure our special day was running smoothly. You will not regret choosing Cascade as your wedding venue!

The event coordinators, Rosa and Dominic, were extremely helpful and wonderful to work with. They made my wedding day absolutely perfect! The venue itself is even more beautiful in person and the food was amazing. I'm still receiving compliments on both the overall presentation and how delicious everything was. I planned my wedding from out of state and I truly couldn't have done so without Rosa and Dominic's help. If you are looking for a venue for a special event this is definitely the place for you! Where do I start when trying to describe the absolute BEST wedding venue in Connecticut?! Upon the very first day of walking into Cascade to tour their venue, my now husband and I immediately knew that Cascade was perfect for us! It is so beautiful, clean, and modern. We especially loved the hard wood floors and \"clean-slate\" that the venue offers. Far too often, CT venues have ugly carpeting and curtains that clash with personal weddings colors, schemes, etc. Cascade's ballroom is so grand with their gorgeous chandeliers and neutral window treatments. The entire space is hardwood floors which provides a fantastic , never-too-crowded space for dancing! The outside grounds are so pretty and offer the perfect back drop for wedding photos. Rosa, Dominic and Alexa were always going above and beyond to ensure that we had the best experience throughout the entire wedding planning process. They answered every question, and always made us feel so comfortable and stress-free! On the day of our wedding, Rosa was a saint! She is so incredibly good at her job. Her presence alone just makes you feel calm and confident that everything is going to go really well. She was finishing my sentences, guiding our steps, and making sure that we felt extra special and taken care of all night! She was making sure our food was warm and bringing us fresh drinks...we never had to think about anything! We were able to enjoy every second! Our guests are still raving about the \"most incredible cocktail hour they have ever experienced\". The food at Cascade is out of this world. Delicious and large portions that guests were thrilled with! My vendors all told us that Cascade's filet was the best filet they have ever had. From the service to the food to the beauty of the venue, and especially the really amazing family and waitstaff that runs it, Cascade was the best decision we made in our wedding planning process. Cascade is the perfect venue for a wedding. My husband and I visited more than 10 venues before we chose Cascade, and there was no comparison. For the same prices as everywhere else we visited, the venue and food was 5 star vs a 2 or 3 star in the other venues. We had the entire venue for the duration of our cocktail hour and reception. Cascade has a look of complete elegance with the hardwood floors throughout and gorgeous chandeliers. From the appetizers to the main course the food was delicious. Our guests were more than pleased with the food, drinks, and wait staff. I would and will recommend Cascade in a heartbeat.

Cascade is the perfect venue for a wedding. My husband and I visited more than 10 venues before we chose Cascade, and there was no comparison. I attended Cascade for my first time while visiting a Bridal Show. I knew the minute I walked in, this was where I wanted to get married! From the friendly staff and amazing food to the venue itself, I fell in LOVE!! Out of curiosity, I did look at a few area facilities, but nothing compared. When we finally made the decision to book Cascade, they were very accommodating to my fiance and I. They arranged a time that worked for us and helped create a package that met all of our needs. Every time I had a question, I could call or email and everything was addressed promptly and professionally. The day of our wedding came up so quickly and they worked together to make our wedding day so special. The staff on our wedding day were able to keep us calm and organized throughout the whole day!! Who would have thought we would have our very own Wedding Planner at no extra cost!?!?! The service was amazing and the food was impeccable. We haven't heard one negative remark about our wedding day! The banquet room was set up perfectly and the entire day was flawless!! I can't thank the staff enough for all they did!! You can tell they have been doing this for a long time and that is something very important when selecting your reception location! I wish I could do it all over again and without a doubt, Cascade would be our place!!

Cascade is absolutely beautiful. Rosa and the rest of the staff are great to work with. They had no problem trying to meet all of my requests. If I had to do my wedding day over again I wouldn't think twice about coming back to Cascade.

I would like to thank Cascade for the magnificent job. Our wedding was perfect, as expected. If I had to change one thing, it would have been to extend the party. Everyone was having such a great time that we didn't want it to end. Can't wait until I am invited to an event at Cascade!

I am so pleased with the service and quality of Cascade. The staff is very professional and helpful. We were on a strict budget, so we customized a package to fit the bill. But you would have never known it because everything was 5 star. My guests couldn't get over how beautiful Cascade was. The food should be Zagat rated. The waiters were very polite, one even went above and beyond for my elder aunt. Domenic and Rosa were very helpful in the planning process. I fell in love with Cascade immediately and I am so happy that they were able to work with my budget. I couldn't imagine having my wedding any where else.

Cascade did an amazing job. I couldn't have asked for better or more. The replied to my emails on the same day and phone calls immediately. Then on the day of my wedding, they were waiting for us at the front door with champagne. The cocktail hour was in the garden room, so we got to have the first look of our dining room. It was perfect. Our guests really enjoyed the food and drinks, and the dancing all night long since service was very prompt. I felt like a guest myself. The head waitress and maître d was always one step ahead of me and I didn't have to worry about anything. They were waiting for me after pictures to help bustle my dress. They were waiting for me after being introduced down the staircase to take my bouquet so I didn't have to dance with it. They even told us how to cut the cake correctly before pictures so that we knew how. Everytime I needed something, they were already there and waiting. Weddings can be so stressful, but I can honestly say mine was not! I enjoyed every seconds of it and didn't have to worry about anything.

WE walked into our ballroom and got to see all the hard work of preparing for this big day. The uplighting and centerpieces and all the little details were just perfect. I cant even put in words how thankful I am to Cascade for making my wedding better than I could have imagined. Since my honeymoon, my guests have been calling and raving about how amazing the food and cocktails were. One of the bartenders was even putting on a show towards the end of the night tossing bottles in the air, etc. Dom was my wedding coordinator. He is fantastic! He returned emails and calls immediately. He helped me plan so many special touches. He has great ideas. My cocktail hour was in the garden room. We customized the Gala Menu and had food in every corner of the cocktail space. Dom also suggested a couple signature drinks which were crowd pleasers. The ballroom is breathe taking. The chandeliers are sparkling and set a romantic mood. Our dinner was top notch. The filet mignon was so tender and the stuffed lobster tail was great and the meat was out of the shell so very easy to eat. For dessert and instead of a wedding cake, we had a cupcake station. There was a pastry chef making cupcakes to order. My guests got to pick what type of cake, frosting and toppings they wanted and the chef made it fresh. From my first meeting all the way until the end of the night, Cascade's staff has been wonderful. I hope I get invited to a wedding at Cascade so I could enjoy again. Thanks Cascade for making my wedding perfect!

We are so happy that we chose to have our ceremony and reception at Cascade! Our guests told us that they had never seen such a beautiful venue, and we definitely agree! The flowers and landscaping, waterfalls and archways all look magical in our photos outside. We had a picture-perfect ceremony at the pergola, surrounded by flowers and the tall trees and hedges that give the ceremony site privacy from the road and the rail trail. Everyone has also commented on how impressive the reception hall looked with its tall ceilings and chandeliers, the grand staircase, large dance floor, and unique oval tables. The food at Cascade was so delicious too! We only heard rave reviews about all of the appetizers and meal choices! \rRosa and Domenic worked with all of our vendors to ensure that everything went without a hitch for our rehearsal and on our wedding day. Throughout the wedding planning process, they were quick to answer questions by email and were helpful when we visited to tour the grounds. When looking for a wedding venue, we toured around 15 venues and Cascade stood out as the most elegant site for both the outdoor ceremony and the reception in the grand ballroom. Our wedding at Cascade was absolutely perfect and we highly recommend Cascade to anyone looking for a gorgeous wedding venue in CT!
