This venue is absolutely beautiful and you will love all your photos outside with the gorgeous landscape. They were able to accommodate our unorthodox requests for our wedding (like having ice cream sandwiches for dessert). Our big day had a bit of trouble and I think it was mostly focused on miscommunication leading up to the big day in addition to some short staffing that the venue took full accountability for. The staff are friendly and reply very quickly. They always answered every question I sent in email and were responsive and available. Some of the little details we wanted for our big day did not end up happening for one reason or another which was a slight disappointment. However, after the event, we followed up with the venue and they addressed every single one of our concerns, took accountability where they could and made it right if possible. My advice would be to ensure everything that you want is really clear and written down and make sure everyone is on the same page and this venue will be as magnificent as you expect! The \"covered\" area that you would use if it rained is also a nice alternative because you are still mostly outside.

Everything about Castleton from start to finish was absolutely incredible for our August 5th wedding! Two years of planning, and every little question I had, Castleton was always so quick to respond. We worked very closely with Alex throughout the whole process, and what a doll! She was so super helpful and made sure she had everything so organized and ready to go before handing us off to our lovely coordinator, Rilinda! Rilinda made our day run so smoothly and consistently checked in with my husband and I to see if we needed anything! Beautiful grounds and hall! We loved working with Castleton and enjoyed our beautiful wedding!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about everyone that works at Castleton. To start off our main criteria for a venue was great food, beautiful property, & a big enough space for up to 300 people comfortably. Castleton is a beautiful property (recently renovated too which they did amazing!). The outdoor landscaping is beautiful. From the pond to the hidden bridge everything was so well kept.We rented the entire venue which can hold 500 people. Two bar spaces were large enough for everyone to gather at the high tops if they wanted. The dance floor is huge. And we had 25 tables and still had so much space.The food... AMAZING. We loved the flexibility with picking a package and customizing it to what we wanted exactly. We picked the off season buffet and then upgraded a few items. We have gotten so many phone calls raving about all the food. The beef tenderloin is to die for. Now I need to start by thanking Alex. From the beginning she was the most welcoming person we met on our venue hunt. She was easy to talk to and when we described what we were thinking she helped our vision come true. All the staff were amazing. They are very detailed oriented and they are super responsive via email and phone!If we could give them a 10 star rating we would in a heart beat.

The Castleton was absolutely fantastic to work with. We worked with Stephanie, Alex and Cindy during our planning process and they were all great. Unfortunately, we had a lot of last minute cancelations from our guests, and they were all very helpful in working with us to resend invoices for the final payment. They made us feel very comfortable and addressed all our requests and concerns in a timely manner. The facility just added some new interior updates and its gorgeous. All our guests loved the venue and still rave to us about the facility. I would definitely recommend this venue. We were very impressed.

We could not be happier to have chosen Castleton as our wedding reception venue! We had a challenging time planning our wedding and reception due to covid, but everyone at Castleton was so nice, accommodating, and easy to work with.First, our wedding coordinator Alex was simply the best. She was so patient with all of our questions and was so helpful as we toured the first time, booked our date, and during the lead up to the wedding. And of course, the day of the reception, she made everything run so smoothly!Wedding planning can be stressful at times, but everyone at Castleton made things so easy. Everyone was setup exactly how we wanted for the reception - it was perfect. The banquet hall and grounds outside are beautiful as well, with a great view overlooking the water.We would recommend Castleton to anyone looking for a wedding reception venue! Everyone we interacted with was so nice and made this an easy choice!

Best wedding venue ever...truly!! My husband and I decided to host our wedding at The Castleton back in 2018, planning for October 2020. Then... welp... 2020 happened. The Castleton manager, Stephanie, and all of their staff could not have been more responsive, understanding and simply amazing throughout the entire wedding planning process. After many phone calls, emails and adjustments to our plans, the big day finally came. It. Was. PERFECT. The venue was absolutely gorgeous. Julia took notes of my vision, made the place look incredible and I did not have to worry anything other than enjoying our perfect day. Our guests had an absolute blast despite the ongoing chaos and loved the space indoors and out (especially the fire pit). Truly, we would not have been able to have the wedding of our dreams this year if it had not been for The Castleton and their wonderful staff!

Hands down Castleton is by far the best place to get married. After looking at several places to hold our ceremony and reception, Castleton is everything my husband and I dreamed of for our wedding day. not only is the wedding venue absolutely stunning, but the food is amazing and the staff is even better. Justin and I originally had Caitlyn as our wedding planner, but she left which we then got Alex as our new wedding coordinator, which Justin and I were nervous about in the very beginning because we planned so much with Caitlyn already, but boy were we lucky to have the switch. Alex was amazing!!! She made sure our wedding day was exactly how we wanted it, Alex definitely helped make our wedding day perfect. As I got closer to the wedding, I started to get nervous as I had a troublesome groomsmen and some wedding guests who did not agree with how we planned our wedding, but Alex put my worries to bed. and boy did she have everything in order. Alex definitely is your go to girl, if you need someone not only friendly, sweet and personable, but someone reliable and can help put your mind to ease. On top of having such a beautiful venue like Castleton with great staff, it definitely makes it easy to step back and enjoy your wedding day because with Castleton and their staff you know your in good hands, my husband and I would recommend them all day every day for every occasion not just weddings.

Our hostess Alex made our day run so smoothly and was always there to help with anything we needed. Every detail of the day was perfect. There is honestly not one thing about our day that we would change. Throughout the whole planning process Alex and Stephanie answered all of my questions right away and were extremely accommodating to the vision I was looking for. I cannot thank the Castleton staff enough for everything they have done for us. The food was also amazing and we received many compliments. The grounds are perfect for pictures and getting married in front of the pond is a dream. I absolutely recommend getting married at Castleton to anyone that is thinking about it, you will not regret it! Best place ever! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I am beyond happy that we chose Castleton as our wedding venue. The staff was simply amazing from start to end. Our hostess Alex made our day run so smoothly and was always there to help with anything we needed. Every detail of the day was perfect. There is honestly not one thing about our day that we would change. Throughout the whole planning process Alex and Stephanie answered all of my questions right away and were extremely accommodating to the vision I was looking for. I cannot thank the Castleton staff enough for everything they have done for us. The food was also amazing and we received many compliments. The grounds are perfect for pictures and getting married in front of the pond is a dream. We were just married at the Castleton and it was better than we could ever expect! I had been working with Stephanie on and off for over a year and her or her staff would always answer any question right away, no matter how silly or unimportant it seemed. They were so patient and professional and organized! The day of the wedding it started raining and lightening pretty bad about an hour before the ceremony. I was panicking of course because the ceremony was going to be outside, the outdoor scenery at the Castleton is breathtaking and a major reason why we booked there. They set up outside once it stopped, but then it started raining again. Giselle, our day of coordinator, was doing everything she could to keep me calm and happy and the poor staff had to set up the chairs and wipe them all down about 2-3 times. She offered to move it inside a few times for me, but when I said no lets do it in the rain, she stood up and said ok let's do it. Finally it stopped and we had a 30 minute window, Giselle got everything dry and set up, sat all the guests, and we started the ceremony. It was absolutely perfect! The pictures came out beautiful and I am so thankful to Giselle for making sure we had what we wanted. She made sure we were going to have the ceremony we wanted.Giselle also decorated everything even better than I could have imagined. I brought in a ton of stuff without a lot of direction and basically told her my vision but wasn't sure how to make it happen. I told her to use it all, use some, whatever she wanted to do, just make it look nice because I wasn't particular. I trusted they would know what looked best in their venue than me, and I'm so glad I did that because she went above and beyond. I could tell she took her time with the items I dropped off to make sure everything looked perfect. The food and drinks were also amazing, my family couldn't stop talking about how delicious it all was. The staff made sure my husband and I had everything we needed, delivering us drinks and food. The scenery there is gorgeous and I swear it looked more beautiful every time we visited. We are so grateful to all the staff at the Castleton for an amazing and unforgettable wedding!

We cant say enough good things about the team at Castleton Banquet and Conference Center! Stephanie and her team were so helpful throughout the entire process of planning our big day and were there every step of the way. Stephanie and her team were so helpful throughout the entire process of planning our big day and were there every step of the way. I cannot say enough about Castleton! We were just married Sept 8 2018 and it is the best day of our lives. from the moment we walked into Castleton and were greeted by Stephanies smiling face and welcoming personality we knew this was the place for us to get married. First off the staff is a dream to work with.Every step of the wedding planning was made easy because of them Stephanie and Caitlyn are two of the nicest people I have met and super responsive. I never waited more than 24 hours to hear back from them with any questions I had. Caitlyn was our day of coordinator and everything went perfectly. She made sure I had the absolute perfect day! The grounds of Castleton are stunning! The lake, flowers, bridges, fire place make for amazing photos and ambiance. The food was amazing from start to finish, everyone came up to us after to rave about how delicious everything was. And I was very excited that they provided me and my husband with our own personal try of apps with champagne while taking photos during cocktail hour. The hall for the reception is perfect, and the dance floor is amazing. There was plenty of room for everyone to dance without it feeling to big or crowded. The bar service was great and the ice cream sundae bar for dessert was a huge hit! And for those who are worried about the fact that they host two weddings in the same night, don't be! They are staggered and there is a soundproof barrier between the halls. Myself and all the guests were completely unaware of the other wedding taking place. Castleton was a dream, I highly recommend.

My husband and I were also so thrilled at how affordable Castleton was, and we loved that the catering and ceremony would be done on site! Castleton truly took a lot of the stress out of wedding planning for us because of how well they were set up and what they included in our wedding package. Right from our first communication with the staff, I knew Castleton was going to be our location. Alex and Stephanie were so incredibly helpful throughout the entire process! After every communication with them, they would remind us that they are there if we need them, which we greatly appreciated!!Alex and Stephanie gave us a bunch of information before we even set up the tour, and then on the tour itself, Alex was very patient with us as we asked her dozens of questions, all of which she answered immediately with great detail. We had a few tours set up at other locations, but we cancelled them all. We booked a date with Castleton shortly after.As things came up while planning, Alex and Stephanie were so quick to respond to us with whatever we needed. They were also incredibly helpful when it came to planning the timeline of our big day as well as ensuring that we had all the smaller details nailed down.On the big day, everything went so smoothly and I really have to thank Alex for that! We had our wedding at castleton last Saturday. It was perfect. Dan was the chef and everything was so delicious. Everyone kept complimenting the food. Stephanie was our day of coordinator and she worked SO HARD making sure our day ran smoothly. The staff was so friendly and hard working. The entire day was perfect. The venue is beautiful and the food is SOOOO GOOD. I would recommend castleton to anyone!!!!!

I only had to look at 3 venues before I knew Castleton was the place for us. When you drive in you see a gorgeous rock waterfall but the real breath taker is when you walk around and suddenly get this amazing view of Cobbetts Pond. The outdoor ceremony space is right on the water so it makes for stunning photos. But that’s not why I chose Castleton. I chose it because of the incredible staff. I had the pleasure of working with Caitlyn and it is the reason we picked Castleton. She is amazing! She immediately made us feel welcomed, gave us a big tour, and answered ALL of our questions. I even called her the next day because I knew my mom had to see this place too. So we went back and she answered every question my mom had too. She was incredible in helping with every detail of the wedding. She suggested some amazing vendors which helped our day go that much better and she was even there the day of still making sure everything went perfectly. Not only would I strongly recommend Castleton for the view, the big dance floor, and the food but I would recommend it because of the incredibly helpful staff who all made our day amazing.

We got married on August 13th, 2016. I'm not sure anyone grows up with the dream of getting married at Castleton, but maybe they should. My wife and I are both big foodies, and we were most worried about having amazing food from start to finish, and Castleton truly exceeded all expectations. The site was beautiful. The service was the best part though. Both Dawn and Stephanie were both AMAZING to work with. They were always SO quick to respond, so accommodating for special requests, and knowledgable. We had a bunch of special menu requests and they accommodated all of them. Planning a wedding is always stressful but they made it so easy. We loved the food so much we both agree if they opened a restaurant we would most definitely be willing to drive distances and pay extra for that food. They truly made it a great personal experience. We never felt like a number or \"just another wedding\" even though they do this every weekend. We were a little worried that another wedding would be going on that evening in the room right next to us, but we honestly never even noticed. They do a great job completely separating the two. There is no noise, no guest, no anything crossover that made it even a tiny bit of an issue. The overall value for the service and food and for your wedding is amazing. Thank you!

Castleton is an absolutely gorgeous place, and we were so happy to have our wedding here. Even on a rainy day, Caitlyn had a backup plan ready and it allowed for an intimate setting for our ceremony. Dawn was a joy to work with, laid everything out through the process, and always had an answer for any question we had. Everything, from the grounds, to the food & drinks, to the staff, was absolutely phenomenal and couldn't imagine having our wedding anywhere else.

From day one I've worked with Stephanie and Dawn, making sure my wedding went off without a hitch and when Caitlyn joined as my coordinator for the day of, it just ensured my comfort. Every need was tended to, I felt completely at ease, everything was understood and carried out the way I had dreamed it to be. My husband and I have nothing but amazing and positive reviews for the Castleton and we will definitely recommend it to every person we come across. The food was amazing, the service was impeccable. I like when I can smile at my server and they actually smile back, and there was definitely no shortage of that! And the bar staff was fun and silly, which was again appreciated.

I would not recommend this place for a wedding. I had mine there the other weekend and it was an okay experience during the wedding, but after was horrible! I am not a complainer at all..but this was the biggest day of my life! If you have high expectations, do not have your wedding here. The food was cold, over a dozen people had food poison after! The servers were rude to the parents, the staff was really loud during the father/daughter & mother/son dance! So rude! They forgot to put my flower petals down the isle. They threw out the only cake that was in front of us during the dinner (should have asked us if we wanted)...I never got to try my own wedding cake!!!! Also, after all this we called to let them know and they won't even work with us on a credit! We bought people food at another restaurant after the wedding since at least 40 people didn't want the cold food. They won't even work with us on that. I asked to speak to supervisor and they won't give me the phone #. \r\rThere are a couple other things that happened, but I think you get the idea. \r\rOnly great thing was the view! \r

We had our wedding at Castleton on 7/18/14. The entire team at Castleton was very helpful from the day we signed our contract with them to the day of the wedding. Anytime I had questions Dawn or Stephanie would respond to my email within the same day or answer my phone calls right away. If I wanted to bring family to see the grounds they made themselves available in case we had any questions at all. \rThe day of the wedding, Ashley was my Coordinator for the day.. she was amazing. The day wouldn't have gone as smoothly as it did if it wasn't for Ashley. She would let us know where we needed to be and what needed to done and give us a five minute heads up so we didn't feel rushed at all. As soon as I started getting hot while taking the pictures she stepped in and got me water and moved me into the shade. \rThe week of the wedding Castleton had a brush fire on the property next to them and unfortunately compromised the ceremony location that we had originally chosen. However they did everything they could to make the second option as beautiful as the first location, and it was perfect! I wouldn't have changed anything about my wedding day and It's all thanks to the Castleton crew! \r\rTHANK YOU :)

If I wanted to bring family to see the grounds they made themselves available in case we had any questions at all. \rThe day of the wedding, Ashley was my Coordinator for the day.. she was amazing. The day wouldn't have gone as smoothly as it did if it wasn't for Ashley. She would let us know where we needed to be and what needed to done and give us a five minute heads up so we didn't feel rushed at all. As soon as I started getting hot while taking the pictures she stepped in and got me water and moved me into the shade. \rThe week of the wedding Castleton had a brush fire on the property next to them and unfortunately compromised the ceremony location that we had originally chosen. However they did everything they could to make the second option as beautiful as the first location, and it was perfect! I wouldn't have changed anything about my wedding day and It's all thanks to the Castleton crew! \r\rTHANK YOU :)

This was the perfect venue for our wedding. I knew I didn’t want to have it at a country club and everywhere in Boston was too expensive. When I saw Castleton, I knew it was going to be perfect. Stephanie and Dawn were great to work with. They were so friendly and made you feel comfortable. When we went to look at the venue, Stephanie took the time to draft up a sample menu so we could see what fit into our budget. We ended up using the whole hall. The dance floor was huge and that was one of our requirements. You could hear our band (Big Party Orchestra) throughout the whole space. Stephanie and Dawn were responsive with every question that I had no matter how small. While we were taking pictures, they set up a table of all hor d’oeuvres for the wedding party so we weren’t starving by the time dinner came. We had amazing pictures (by Classic Photographers) and the food was great. I really have no complaints and I highly recommend Castleton for any event.

From the first time we saw the place to the end of our wedding everything was perfect. You talk to either Dawn or Stephanie for getting everything set up and both were laid back, extremely knowledgeable and very flexible and accommodating.\r\rThe grounds aren't huge, but they are right on a lake sized pond. The area for the ceremony is has a quiet area with a fence to make it more intimate. But if you want they do have a gazebo for the ceremony, or just for pictures. There is also gorgeous flowers, a little bridge, and a patio/dock over the water. If it does happen to rain Castleton is prepared to move the ceremony inside to the lobby in front of a newly renovated waterfall.\r\rFor getting ready, The bride and bridesmaids have their own room to get ready in with bathroom, closet, vanity and couch. The Closet also locks to put all your purses, etc. in so you don't have to worry about. We were allowed to be there an hour before the ceremony. \r\rOur Host for our wedding was Kelly and she was amazing. She set everything up PERFECTLY for us. During the reception she would always let us know what to do next so we were never confused or surprised about what was happening.But the best part is that we were able to ENJOY these events and parts of our wedding because Kelly was there when we needed her but was never rushing us around or buzzing in our ears all night long. It was our wedding and it happened exactly how and when we wanted it and that was thanks to our amazing host.\r\rCostwise you pay for food only (for the reception)but you have to pay at least a minimm amount, which depends on the day and time of day you get married.\r\rI would definitely recommend Castleton to everyone and wouldn't have done anything differently.

They have centerpieces and other items on hand for you to use AND they literally handle every detail professionally. The food was amazing. We went family style and our guests were so impressed. I am so happy that I chose to have my wedding at Castleton! The grounds were gorgeous and the staff could not have been better. Our coordinator day-of was Kelly and she was an absolute dream. She stayed calm even when I was a bit frazzled, which in turn made me calm down. She was also on top of EVERYTHING and I truly trusted her to make sure everything flowed correctly on my special day. The food was amazing too -- we did the buffet and thought that was a great value and everyone enjoyed it!\r\rCouple of small minor things:\r\r-They do have more than one wedding in a day and it was slightly weird to be getting my pictures taken after the ceremony and seeing another wedding getting set up and people arriving and everything. However, since Castleton was probably the best value I found it didn't bother me too much. \r-If you want the DJ to do the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception he has to set up and break down 3 different times since they are all in different places. Not sure how this compares to others, but we ended up having to have live music for the ceremony and cocktail hour so the DJ could just focus on setting up in the reception hall. Castleton is a wonderful place to have your wedding. They are not a hotel or country club, that happens to do weddings; they actually specialize in weddings and functions, and because of that they give you personalized service and attention, and really know what they are doing. I looked at 37 wedding venues before choosing Castleton. Yes, you heard me right- 37! So you know it has to be good. Luckily because I had my wedding on a Sunday, I had the venue to myself and was able to use the whole room. It holds up to 500 people so they were afraid it might look empty with my numbers (180 guests), but it actually looked great, and to me was so much more preferable than the way a divider looks. The first day I toured at Castleton, Stephanie showed us around, and from the beginning I loved her. She was just so warm and helpful. She continued to be amazing throughout the year leading up to my wedding- never getting sick of my emails, always welcoming questions and assistance, and always accommodating and easygoing. She ended up being the hostess the day-of my wedding and did an outstanding job under tough circumstances. I really wanted an outdoor wedding ceremony for my August wedding, and unfortunately there was a chance of showers on my day. We ended up going outside for ceremony, and although it did drizzle a little towards the end of it, it was not too bad. Stephanie let us wait until half an hour before the ceremony to make the call (because the florist needed the heads up to set up) and she was on the ball and professional the whole time, never letting her stress show. She really ran her butt off the whole day and worked so hard to ensure everything went smoothly. What impressed me even more is how young she is and how well she can manage weddings at her age. Dawn was often more business-like and curt when we communicated. My mom was unhappy with some of the extra charges she tried to tack on, as well. Be aware that you could sign your contract with the meal prices for one year and that those meal prices go up annually. Donna, who I communicated with less frequently, was easy to deal with and professional. One of the pluses at Castleton is that up-lights are included. The food at Castleton ranges from very good to great. The penne pasta appetizer with garlic-pesto cream sauce was delicious, as was the brownie sundae. The salmon was also excellent. The prime rib varied from person to person- some people had better cuts than others. Despite us moving around rapidly to different locations for photos during the cocktail hour, they did a great job of following us with the hors d’oeuvres, which were all very tasty, as well. From what I experienced the drinks were great, too. I think Castleton’s greatest asset is their grounds; they are so well manicured and maintained. The flowers are just beautiful and the grass is so green. It really makes for gorgeous pictures. The lobby is also really nice with the piano and waterfall and flowers. The function hall is pretty, but not spectacular. It can definitely be dressed up, though, with the right linens, flowers, and decorations. With the affordability of the venue, you should have some money left over to do this. Some areas inside look a little dated, such as the bridal suite, but they are starting to re-vamp things, and recently re-did their main sign and awning. Overall, Castleton is really affordable for the food, service, and beauty of the venue.

I looked at 37 wedding venues before choosing Castleton. Yes, you heard me right- 37! So you know it has to be good. Luckily because I had my wedding on a Sunday, I had the venue to myself and was able to use the whole room. It holds up to 500 people so they were afraid it might look empty with my numbers (180 guests), but it actually looked great, and to me was so much more preferable than the way a divider looks. The first day I toured at Castleton, Stephanie showed us around, and from the beginning I loved her. She was just so warm and helpful. She continued to be amazing throughout the year leading up to my wedding- never getting sick of my emails, always welcoming questions and assistance, and always accommodating and easygoing. She ended up being the hostess the day-of my wedding and did an outstanding job under tough circumstances. I really wanted an outdoor wedding ceremony for my August wedding, and unfortunately there was a chance of showers on my day. We ended up going outside for ceremony, and although it did drizzle a little towards the end of it, it was not too bad. Stephanie let us wait until half an hour before the ceremony to make the call (because the florist needed the heads up to set up) and she was on the ball and professional the whole time, never letting her stress show. She really ran her butt off the whole day and worked so hard to ensure everything went smoothly. What impressed me even more is how young she is and how well she can manage weddings at her age. Dawn was often more business-like and curt when we communicated. My mom was unhappy with some of the extra charges she tried to tack on, as well. Be aware that you could sign your contract with the meal prices for one year and that those meal prices go up annually. Donna, who I communicated with less frequently, was easy to deal with and professional. One of the pluses at Castleton is that up-lights are included. The food at Castleton ranges from very good to great. The penne pasta appetizer with garlic-pesto cream sauce was delicious, as was the brownie sundae. The salmon was also excellent. The prime rib varied from person to person- some people had better cuts than others. Despite us moving around rapidly to different locations for photos during the cocktail hour, they did a great job of following us with the hors d’oeuvres, which were all very tasty, as well. From what I experienced the drinks were great, too. I think Castleton’s greatest asset is their grounds; they are so well manicured and maintained. The flowers are just beautiful and the grass is so green. It really makes for gorgeous pictures. The lobby is also really nice with the piano and waterfall and flowers. The function hall is pretty, but not spectacular. It can definitely be dressed up, though, with the right linens, flowers, and decorations. With the affordability of the venue, you should have some money left over to do this. Some areas inside look a little dated, such as the bridal suite, but they are starting to re-vamp things, and recently re-did their main sign and awning. Overall, Castleton is really affordable for the food, service, and beauty of the venue.

I booked our reservation for the Castleton for our wedding over a year and a half in advance. We had been to multiple beautiful weddings there before, and their prices seemed reasonable. While I'm confident that our wedding at the Castleton will be lovely, if I knew what I had ahead of me in planning my rehearsal, I would have thought twice. When I tried to book my rehearsal - over 6 months in advance - for the Friday before my wedding, I was told there was a wedding that night so I could not. This was fine, not a big deal, we made our rehearsal reservations for the Thursday night before our wedding. We put down a deposit at a venue for a dinner to follow the rehearsal. Today, TWO WEEKS before my wedding rehearsal, I was called and told that I had to move it to either Wednesday night or Friday at NOON. I have people who have bought plane tickets, taken time off of work, etc. to be able to make our rehearsal on Thursday. I have put down hundreds of dollars in deposits for the dinner that was supposed to follow this rehearsal. Over half of our wedding party cannot make either of the offered times, so the only option we now have is to have an \"off site rehearsal\" aka we're going to have to do our rehearsal somewhere else. I'm LIVID... mind you, not at the fact that they had a booking and had to reschedule, but that they are informing me of this TWO WEEKS before my wedding. They didn't even apologize. It's completely outrageous. So, if you book here, know that while you are getting a beautiful site, you are dealing with the possibility of this occurring to you, as well. Good luck.\r\rUPDATE: \rThe staff at the Casteton did, eventually, do what they could to try to make up for the nightmare with the wedding rehearsal. I eventually got an apology and a few small fees waived due to the incident. My wedding day at the Castleton was beautiful, and all of the staff that I dealt with the day of were great. The setting is hard to beat, and the food was great. I would recommend the Castleton to a friend, but I would certainly make sure they were aware of the incident described above.

The initial planning with Dawn and Stephanie went great they were very helpful and willing to work with us to fix the perfect menu. The day of my wedding our hostess was Kelly and she was amazing she really made our special day perfect eveything went off without a hitch. We did not have to worry about a single detail!! We checked out 4 or 5 other places before castleton and we knew right away they werent what we wanted. It was raining and sleeting when we first looked at castelton and without seeing the beautiful landscape they way it would be the day of, we knew the second we saw it thats where we were getting married. Its beautiful inside and out. all the staff were very nice and easy to talk to. We absolutely loved our hostess Melissa. Everyone commented on how it was the most beautiful and gorgeous place theyve seen for a wedding. It was truly everything we wanted for our special day and they delivered to the fullest!! I would always reccomend castleton for any function!!

They are in the business to make sure any type of function goes off without a hiccup. Same is true for my wedding that just happened 2 weeks ago. they go the extra mile and help you with whatever your concerns may be. Plenty of room for all guests in attendance, beautiful grounds.
