Castleton Farms is a 110 acre estate with lavishly manicured lawns and rolling pastures. Complete with a greek antebellum manor that houses the bride and groom suites, our fully restored equestrian barn— the Carriage House, our Tuscan Vineyard, and so much more! Castleton farms is the premiere wedding and special events venue of East Tennessee and prides itself on going above and beyond for all of our clients. This place and all of the staff was wonderful. I was looking for an all-inclusive venue for a micro wedding. This place caught my eye not only for the beauty of it, but they help you every step of the way in planning. Kendahl was very professional, a good listener, and communicator. She was very on top of things. Her intern Lanie was so sweet and nice. She checked on us often to make sure we didn’t need anything on the day of. On the wedding day everything went smoothly and couldn’t have gone better! I’m so glad we chose Castleton Farms!

My dream wedding was to be a Disney princess! So looking for venues in East Tennessee I was limited on venues that were not barns or industrial. When I found Castleton Farms I just knew I had found the one. From the grounds to the event staff, everything was perfect! Danyelle at Castleton took care of me through the whole process. I booked 2 years in advance because of my anxiety brain. Danyelle kept me in check the whole time, ensured me I was ahead of schedule, and that I was right where I needed to be. She also went to bat for me with all my vendors; I hardly had to do a thing. When it came to the big day, I did not want to set anything or worry about a thing. Being an event planner, that was every important to me. I set up events on a daily basis, so I definitely did not want to on my wedding day! The wedding day could not have been smoother or more perfect. Danyelle and Kendahl were great the whole day! Kendahl made sure I had everything I needed before I knew I needed it. She even carried about my 8 pound bouquet! I can not say enough great things about the team and the stunning venue! If you want a beautiful, relaxing, stressful day Castleton Farms should be your top choice!

Thank you to everyone who made our wedding day a smooth event. We are thrilled with how everything turned out! The beautiful venue truly helped bring our wedding day celebration to life. Everyone involved was such a great person to work with.Throughout the reception and all through the planning process, we were able to relax because we knew every detail would be taken care of. I had the most wonderful experience with this venue from start to finish! It’s absolutely the most gorgeous venue that I’ve seen or have ever been to. I actually had this venue picked out before we got engaged and toured 3 others before it and it just wasn’t even a comparison. The staff is amazing, they help make sure you’re on track with everything you need from beginning to end. During our wedding, my wedding planners Kendhal and Danielle were phenomenal! They and the staff decorated for me, made sure everything was in place, and ensured the pace was set for us all to be on time for photos, ceremony, reception, etc. We even had some rowdy groomsmen and she made sure to keep them in line but also let them enjoy themselves. I have since talked to other new brides who stressed the entire day because they didn’t have a wedding planner and things didn’t go as smooth as planned but I had absolutely nothing that stressed me out on our wedding day. Things went better than I even expected. It was an amazing experience overall and I would recommend this venue to anyone! I have received so many compliment about our wedding and the venue and we got gorgeous photos. All of their suggested vendors are top notch as well! If you are looking for an absolute dream wedding, choose Castleton Farms!

Castleton is a gorgeous place to get married. There were plenty of perks to picking this place a venue. I particularly didn't love our wedding planner. Because we were not spending an endless amount of money there, everyone in my family, wedding party, and my husband, felt that our wedding planner didn't feel thrilled to be working with us. There were some mix ups on a few things and instead of owning up to their mistakes, they turned it on us as our problem. It was not until the upper management was notified by other venders we were using that they corrected the issues that arose and apologized. We had assumptions, as we were told, that everything would be put in our cars before it was time to leave...that was not the case.They also forgot to get us to sign the marriage license and never physically handed it to anyone, they just set it down without telling anyone and it was never found. We had to go get new paperwork after our wedding.Besides all the miscommunication, the venue itself was beautiful. The day itself was very enjoyable and ran smoothly. We never felt worried, rushed or that there were too many issues arising. Danyelle was amazing to work with with at our reception and she was super friendly, as was a lot of the staff.We also found a lot of friendships out of the vendors that were \"mandated\". Everyone loved the food and atmosphere. They took very good care of my grandparents and made sure they were golf carted everywhere. My family was very pleased as were my grandparents.

If you want a beautiful wedding, this is the place to be. My husband and I are from Detroit, Michigan. This venue is what we pictured to get married at, but better than we imagined. The staff especially our director, Danyelle was amazing. We went through a pandemic where everything was canceled and Danyelle handled everything so well. Every bride deserves someone like her to help plan and work through your big day. If you are on the fence about whether Castleton Farms is the place you want to get married or not, I suggest you make a point to visit their property! Upon arrival, you are blown away by such a beautiful landscape. This is only made better by Danyelle's sweet personality, once she greets you at the top of the Manor steps. Danyelle was a pleasure to work with - from the moment we reached out, she took interest in what we were looking for on our special day and really cared about the personal side of things. She helped us with being very intentional in all decisions we made. Not one time during the planning process did we feel behind or lost as Danyelle was always there to answer any questions and provide any information we asked about. On our wedding day, it did rain; however, you would have never known that \"plan B\" was happening as a result. We were blown away by the result of moving our wedding indoors - all of our guests commented on the beauty of our day and were impressed at their experience. This was all made possible by Danyelle and her team! At every turn on the day of, Danyelle was there to help make sure everything was running smoothly and ask how we were doing. She truly cares to make your perfect vision come to life, and we can't think of anyone else who should be trusted to do the same for you!

There was not one moment on my wedding day that I did not feel relaxed. Every detail was perfect thanks to Danyelle and her team and the entire day went smoothly. She even brought me sandals to switch for my heels while I was on the dancefloor and unbustled my dress for pictures while I was socializing. I truly did not have to lift a finger and could not be more grateful for this venue and team.

I was a Castleton Farms Bride and I would STRONGLY recommend this location and our wedding planner, Darla Walker, to anyone! We reserved the entire property for the weekend and we had the Bridal Luncheon, Rehearsal Dinner, Ceremony, and the Reception on the property all planned by Darla. We truly had the dream team. I could not have asked for any more on such a special and important day. They were extremely professional and I cannot thank everyone enough!

After spending months researching numerous venues in the area I quickly came to realize that nothing came close to this place. It may be in the middle of no where but don't let that fool you. The grounds and facilities are immaculate! What impressed me the most though was the Castleton Farms team. This group of professionals travels internationally to stay ahead of the game on the latest bridal trends. My wedding couldn't have been in more capable hands. Not only are they amazing, they also work with the BEST vendors in East Tennessee. There wasn't one vendor I had that I wasn't completely happy with. They all came together to make my wedding experience better than I could have ever imagined!

Darla and her staff are AMAZING!! They took all the stress out of planning the most perfect wedding for my daughter and son-in-law. I’ve worked with Darla over the past year, so I have seen her sometimes literally bend over backwards for her brides to ensure they get the day they’ve always dreamed of. With Darla and her team behind you, Castleton isn’t just a venue where you set up your DIY projects on the day of, stay for a few hours, and clean up when the party is over. Darla is 100% on top of things from day one and will end up being your #1 cheerleader throughout the planning process.\r\rWhen Corey and I first got engaged, I honestly didn’t think Castleton was going to be the venue for me. My style was more whimsical and bohemian than most Castleton weddings, so I figured I should look around at my other venue options. However, within about five minutes of this consideration, Darla caught onto my vision and helped me dream up my ideal wedding, all at Castleton. We would have a simple ceremony in the skeet field and reception in the Vineyard Gardens with bistro lights strung all about – both which have never been done before on such a scale. I didn’t even hesitate when deciding this was exactly the direction I wanted to go, and I had zero doubt in my mind Darla would bring my vision to life.\r\rLong story short, I would choose Castleton again and again. Excellence is the standard, and the experience is unmatched. Even when I tried to hide it, Darla could read the stress on my face and she continued to confidently reassure me, “I’ve got this!” And boy, did she have it. She made sure I knew, during the planning, that my style was not her style, but you could’ve fooled me when I saw what she came up with on the day-of. I didn’t even hesitate when deciding this was exactly the direction I wanted to go, and I had zero doubt in my mind Darla would bring my vision to life.\r\rLong story short, I would choose Castleton again and again. Excellence is the standard, and the experience is unmatched. Even when I tried to hide it, Darla could read the stress on my face and she continued to confidently reassure me, “I’ve got this!” And boy, did she have it. She made sure I knew, during the planning, that my style was not her style, but you could’ve fooled me when I saw what she came up with on the day-of. I was a guest at a wedding held at this venue. The venue and wedding were very pretty however I noticed that the wedding planner was rude to the guests and drinking wine while the reception was going on. By just seeing the wedding planner interact with guests, vendors and the Bride and Groom, I would never allow my son or daughter to get married there because of her. The venue sells itself but the planner is very rude. It is unfortunate that such a beautiful venue is managed by such an unfriendly person since weddings are supposed to be happy.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about our experience at Castleton. The manicured grounds and the beauty of the venue speaks for itself. No matter where you walk, you encounter God's creation in its splendor. What a beautiful place to begin your life as husband and wife. Our experience with Darla was everything that we had hoped for. My daughter lives 6 hours away and we knew her schedule would permit very little opportunity to be in Knoxville to plan her wedding. The organization and structure that Darla has put in place allowed my daughter to feel she was informed and able to orchestrate the planning of her big day from 6 hours away. The Vendor Day experience knocked out so many decisions in one day and was instrumental in decreasing the stress associated with the planning process. The Wedding Day itself was so enjoyable because of Darla and her wonderful staff. They communicate with each other seamlessly. Her take-charge approach meant that we could enjoy each moment as it came, simply doing and being where we were instructed to be. Priceless!!

There are not enough words to describe how incredible my Castleton experience was! The moment I first drove through the iron gates, I knew Castleton was the place where I would marry the love of my life. From the vendor meetings to the actual wedding day, the Castleton staff went above and beyond my expectations. No detail was left undone, and I felt so at ease throughout the whole process. \r\rThis being my second wedding, I didn’t know what to expect. Being a mature bride, I wasn’t sure if I would find an event planner that would be a good match. However, Darla and her assistants were so amazing, and I have grown to love them as some of my dearest friends.\r\rStaying in the manor was one of the best decisions I made! It was wonderful for my wedding party and I to be able to get ready in the bridal suite and groom’s quarters. The wedding prep went so smoothly, and I loved having everyone there with me. \r\rMy guests were thoroughly impressed, and are still talking about how beautiful the Castleton grounds and wedding was. Castleton catered to my handicapped guests, and made them feel extra special all evening. Everyone had a wonderful time, and enjoyed celebrating our marriage with us. \r\rI would recommend this facility to anyone! My only regret is that I can’t do it all over again. We knew we were in good hands, and they definitely did not disappoint come wedding day. If you're looking for a wedding venue that will hold your hand and help you through every detail of the planning process, Castleton Farms is the place for you. As both my wife Nikki and Darla Walker, the Executive Director of Castleton Farms, will attest, I'm not one to go out of my way to talk about how \"great\" a particular thing is or is not. However, it needs to be said... Castleton Farms is simply, the best wedding venue I've ever seen. \r\rFrom the first moment we visited, we were both taken back by the beauty of the grounds at Castleton. The many different \"venues\" to choose from ensures that the perfect setting will be found, no matter how large or small your wedding. But the choices don't stop there. I am a person that likes to make a decision and move forward, and I was truly terrified of having to balance my daily life with wedding planning. When we met with Darla for the first time, she knew how to ease that fear. In my opinion, one of the most valuable things that Castleton provides is a custom Vendor Day. My wife and I live in Washington, D.C. so we couldn't reasonably make a trip to Tennessee every weekend to pick out cakes, lighting, floral arrangements, etc. The Vendor Day was key to our wedding planning... and stress relief... because we were able to meet with multiple vendors, ask questions, interview them, and determine what was best for US (and our budget). \r\rFurthermore, the Castleton team was instrumental in making sure that every step along the way was covered... the perfect example being the flexibility and last minute planning when storms threatened \"the big day.\" Without missing a beat, the Castleton team was able to design a backup indoor ceremony, as well as move the rehearsal dinner and reception locations. Literally, 48 hours out, the Castleton team reconfigured our entire wedding weekend. \r\rNot only did we think everything about Castleton was perfect, but our guests did too. So many of our guests have taken time to call us in the following weeks to tell us how beautiful the wedding was, and how wonderful of a job we did in planning... but the truth is, that was ALL the Castleton Team! They did a fantastic job of listening to what we wanted, and applying that to reality. \r\rI cannot say enough good things about Castleton Farms, and I really hope one of our friends or family members gets engaged soon, so that hopefully we can attend another amazing wedding at Castleton!\r\r-Justin Williams

We were married on June 7, 2014 and would give anything to relive our Castleton Farms wedding over and over.\r\rFrom the moment we met Darla Walker about a year before our wedding, we instantly felt confident in her abilities to lead us in the direction we wanted to go with our wedding. What we did not expect was the relationships that would build with Darla, her family, and her incredible staff. If I could just put into words the thankfulness our families have for the work that Darla, Christy, and the other Castleton Farms staff members did to create a night of sheer perfection, you would be reading for quite some time.\r\rAs we began our Castleton experience, we were greeted by some of the most creative, wildly and phenomenally talented vendors. Kelly Webster with All Occasion Catering, Gina Changas with All Occasion Party Rental, Corky with True Grip Lighting, Ty and Sarah Pattison with The Happy Envelope, Cheryl McMillian with The Perfect Ending, Chip Fuller with Special Notes Entertainment ~ DJ, and Jamie Walker and Wendy Thorne with Bangs and Blush were just the foreword for the dreams that would come to life. This incredible team of exclusive vendors became family to us! Pinterest became an obsolete need after meeting this team!\r\rTwo days before our wedding there was a 50% chance of rain. While that is every bride's worst fear when her wedding is planned for outside and her heart and every dream she had was outside, we made the decision to move to the rain plan. 100 percent, rain or shine, I wish we had planned it this way from the beginning! We literally had to do NOTHING to prepare/change/implement for the rain plan. Darla and her incredible staff did EVERYTHING!!!!! It was more beautiful than anything I ever chose myself! The attention to detail was beyond anything you could imagine or dream yourself. Darla and her team worked harder than I could have ever hoped for to give us more than we could have ever dreamed! If given the opportunity to redo anything, it would simply be to get remarried at Castleton Farms every year!! I am so thankful and proud to be a Castleton bride and to have an extended family in East Tennessee!

My entire wedding experience with Castleton Farms was perfect. I wanted an outdoors wedding in the fall, and began searching for venues online. Castleton Farms immediately stood out just by their website. When I met Darla Walker at a Bridal Show, I knew Castleton was at the top of my list. My husband and I checked out a few venues and the one thing that sold Castleton more than others was the wedding planning service of Darla. When we toured the venue, she listened to our ideas, our concerns, and promised to work within our budget. We left feeling like we wanted to be a \"Castleton Couple\" and that the venue was exactly what we dreamed of for our envisioned small, elegant, and classic wedding.\r\rThe entire wedding planning process with Darla was simple - which is what I wanted. She helped coordinate and attend meetings with each of our wedding vendors - the best in East Tennessee. Darla was available 24/7 via text, email, and phone call. She responded very quickly to all communications and offered great advice. Darla has a great relationship with all the vendors that we used, which made meetings fun and productive.\r\rWe used All Occasions Catering for the rehearsal dinner and reception, Waldorf Photography for engagement pictures and wedding, Sam Franklin for floral, Ogle Entertainment for the music, and All Occasions Party Rentals for the decorations. ALL vendors were extremely professional and executed their jobs perfectly to make my wedding a wonderful experience. The guests were raving about the food. I provided minimal deions for Sam and the bouquets/decorations were exactly how I pictured them to be. Some of my bridesmaids and I stayed at the Manor house that night, and it was extremely convenient to wake up and not have to rush anywhere. Brunch was provided and it was a stress-free way to start the day.\r\rThat was one of the best things about the day for me: stress free. Knowing Darla was in charge of everything and I did not have to worry about anything really made my wedding day enjoyable. She was attentive to my needs and to the entire wedding party. My bridesmaids and I had a great time getting ready in the Manor House, while the groomsman chilled in the grooms quarters watching football on an HD TV. Our hair and make up was done by Bangs and Blush. It was great to have all services done at the location and not have to worry about getting to and from a salon. Jamie and Christian did an unbelievable job with the make up making all of my bridesmaids and myself gorgeous. Sybil did an unreal job on all hair, making sure everyone was happy. I have never felt or looked more beautiful! \r\rI couldn't have asked for a better wedding. It was a fall day in East Tennessee, temperature was about 70, and the venue was in the vineyard with fall foliage all around - just what I wanted. All of our guests had a great time, and I am still receiving compliments to this day regarding our wedding and what a great venue Castleton Farms is. \r\rOverall, I can't recommend Castleton Farms enough. Darla, the Castleton Farms staff, and the other vendors worked together to make our dream wedding come true.

My entire wedding experience with Castleton Farms was perfect. I wanted an outdoors wedding in the fall, and began searching for venues online. Castleton Farms immediately stood out just by their website. When I met Darla Walker at a Bridal Show, I knew Castleton was at the top of my list. My husband and I checked out a few venues and the one thing that sold Castleton more than others was the wedding planning service of Darla. When we toured the venue, she listened to our ideas, our concerns, and promised to work within our budget. We left feeling like we wanted to be a \"Castleton Couple\" and that the venue was exactly what we dreamed of for our envisioned small, elegant, and classic wedding.\r\rThe entire wedding planning process with Darla was simple - which is what I wanted. She helped coordinate and attend meetings with each of our wedding vendors - the best in East Tennessee. Darla was available 24/7 via text, email, and phone call. She responded very quickly to all communications and offered great advice. Darla has a great relationship with all the vendors that we used, which made meetings fun and productive.\r\rWe used All Occasions Catering for the rehearsal dinner and reception, Waldorf Photography for engagement pictures and wedding, Sam Franklin for floral, Ogle Entertainment for the music, and All Occasions Party Rentals for the decorations. ALL vendors were extremely professional and executed their jobs perfectly to make my wedding a wonderful experience. The guests were raving about the food. I provided minimal deions for Sam and the bouquets/decorations were exactly how I pictured them to be. We won a contest and won our wedding at Castleton Farms. It was incredible. We were afraid that it would be a gimmick, but it wasn't. I was treated like a princess the whole time.
