Catoctin Hall at Musket Ridge is a country club wedding venue located in Myersville, MD. Nestled on 150 acres of lush greens and fairways, this golf course offers a spectacular backdrop for your special celebration. The club is conveniently situated just minutes from Frederick and an hour from Washington, DC. It provides a secluded and picturesque setting for couples who want to escape the hustle and bustle of the capital for a scenic wedding. With a golf course designed by Joe Lee and an architecturally unique club house, this venue is the perfect spot to make timeless memories. Catoctin Hall at Musket Ridge offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, hills, lakes, and vistas. Among the verdant lawns and retro bridges sits a white pergola, under which you and your partner can tie the knot. A path leads to this area and makes for an excellent aisle. Your guests can be seated on either side of the walkway to witness the moving and emotional exchange of vows. Afterward, retire to the state-of-the-art banquet hall, where you will enjoy a night of dining and dancing. This building features an authentic metal roof, intricate stonework, and a classic exterior. An outdoor terrace will also be at your disposal for sipping cocktails late into the night by our newly constructed stone fire pit. Rental of the facility includes up to five hours of event time, white and ivory floor-length linens, tables and Chiavari chairs, and china, glassware, and flatware. Centerpieces and an array of votive and pillar candles are also available to add a romantic ambiance to the festivities. Customized menus, cake cutting, and a bartender are provided to ensure that your culinary experience is the perfect complement to your elegant affair.

Beautiful venue, amazing staff! Catoctin Hall was the best venue and really helped with so much of the planning before the wedding and one wedding day.It was supposed to rain the day of our wedding and the staff couldn’t have made it any easier for us to have the big day outside.Vicki was absolutely amazing to work with! Any questions, worries or concerns were all handled happily with Vicki. Melody was so helpful and was one of the reasons we chose the venue!Chef’s food is the first thing our guests recount about our day!Thank you all!

Beautiful venue, amazing staff! We had the wedding of our dreams at Catoctin Hall! This venue is beautiful with a view of the mountains and trees. We were so lucky that the weather for our June wedding was perfect and we were able to hold our ceremony outdoors. Our guests also loved that there was an outdoor patio space where they could socialize during cocktail hour and the reception. The entire team here is great to work with and they definitely know what to do. Viki is amazing and was not only helpful with the planning, but was the glue the day of. We also got a lot of compliments on the food at the wedding (and rightly so!). The chef and his team are talented and you won't be disappointed. I cannot speak highly enough about Catoctin Hall!

The entire Musket Ridge team was incredible to work with through-out the process especially Vicki. The photos of the venue speak for themselves but it is truly beautiful, we had an AMAZING sunset for our wedding. There are many meal options and all are good, there was not a single option at the tasting that we did not like. The entire team was so helpful the day of the wedding and willing to help with anything. Vicki helped us plan out so much, create the timeline, kept things on time, and made sure that the two of us and all the wedding guests were having a great time. Highly recommend Musket ridge!

I'm going to preface this by saying we did not end up booking our wedding at Catoctin Hall, but we had such a great experience that I have to give 5 stars. Melody was the point of contact, and was so helpful and informative during our tour. The view outdoors was stunning, and the reception area looked spacious and elegant, with lots of chandelier lighting and windows facing the mountains. The sunset over the mountains is visible from the ceremony/cocktail hour area. The prices and packages are not unreasonable, but sadly out of our budget for our wedding. We did fall in love with the venue, and hopefully you will too!

Amazing! Everyone at Catoctin Hall was incredible to work with. Viki was our point person with planning and our day of person Caitlyn was just the most wonderful and helpful! Just had a fabulous wedding at Musket Ridge - everyone was so nice, attentive, and organized! Susie and the Musket team have weddings down to a science, where everything runs smoothly and care free. My wedding had rain in the forecast and for every frantic email or worry - Susie was there supporting and easing my worries. Luckily we were blessed with a beautiful day and no rain. When we had last minute RSVP issues and switches - there were no issues and Susie always got back to us in a timely manner. We did have a small problem where there was a mix up with our catering company and we were missing a birthday cake for my new sister in law - Susie contacted them and handled it perfectly. The cake arrived and the worry was gone. I cannot recommend Musket Ridge enough. Beyond the service, the food is amazing!! All of our guests were raving about everything - you can't go wrong with any choice. Musket Ridge is a beautiful, well kept venue that is perfect and picturesque for weddings.

Musket Ridge blew our expectations for a wedding! From the moment my husband and I stepped foot into the venue, we knew this was where we wanted to have our dream wedding. The views are stunning and the outdoor ceremony site and the ballroom are just as beautiful. We had a long engagement, and book pretty early on. Susie was great the entire time! So accommodating with our requests and just an overall pleasure to work with. On the day of, Susie and Vicki were great at keeping us on time and making sure the day ran smoothly. The food and drinks were fantastic and the staff was great. You cannot go wrong with booking this venue!

We are not local to Frederick so most of the event was planned via email and conference calls. If we had any questions Susie was quick to respond. As we were searching for the perfect golf course venue, Musket Ridge simply felt right and was absolutely perfect. The outdoor ceremony space was perfect, along with the natural beauty of the surrounding mountainous scenery. Catoctin Hall, as well as the outdoor patio for cocktail hour were just right for our reception. We had 155 guests, so there was more than enough room for everyone. The food and service were outstanding the day of. My bridal attendant, Bev, was great and attentive. I can't speak highly enough of Musket Ridge's wedding coordinator, Susie. Her help, support, and guidance was outstanding from start to finish. Everything went seamlessly the day of our wedding, and it couldn't have been without the help of all staff on-site that day.

Our youngest daughter was married on 10/5/18; the 4th of our 4 children to be married in 4 years! From the moment we met with Bonnie, the sales manager, we all fell in love with the beautiful scenery and venue at Musket Ridge. Bonnie was super sweet, answered all of our questions and convinced my daughter, her fiancé, my husband and I that this was the venue we wanted. From there, we were turned over to Susie......Wow....no words to express Susie's professionalism, kindness, flexibility and love of her job as the event coordinator. Susie met with us several times throughout the planning process, making sure, each time, that things were just as we desired. Susie even decided she would work on the day of our daughter's wedding......the same date as her own wedding anniversary! There are just not enough words to describe and reiterate how well Susie and her team worked to assure that our daughter's wedding was perfect. From start to finish, everything was outstanding and exactly how we wanted things to be. From Sandy, who we met several times in visiting Musket Ridge, to Bev, who was our daughter's \"day of\" attendant......they did an outstanding job. You will not be disappointed to have a wedding here.......We loved everything about Musket Ridge and this could not have been a better place for our last wedding event!

As soon as I saw Musket Ridge, I was sold. The views of the mountains and how perfectly kept the grounds are take your breath away. On top of that, I had the pleasure of meeting with Bonnie when my husband and I were looking at wedding venues. She was so sweet and answered all of our questions. Then we got the absolute pleasure of having Susie Chalk as our wedding coordinator. I CANNOT say enough wonderful things about Susie. She is so kind. She is organized, professional, and experienced. She answered all of our emails in a timely manner. She made my wedding day go extremely smooth. I did not have to worry about anything during the day of the wedding. She made sure people were where they should be and kept the vendors in order. I would pick Musket Ridge over and over again. My wedding was an absolute fairytale and everyone at Musket Ridge helped to make it such an amazing day, especially Susie Chalk. Also, the food is worth every penny.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Musket Ridge. Deciding to have our wedding here was hands down the best decision we made during our wedding planning experience. I can’t say enough good things about Musket Ridge. The venue is beautiful and both Susie and Bonnie were a pleasure to work with. They were both very professional and were extremely responsive to any questions we had via both emails and phone calls. Susie went above and beyond to help make sure our day was coordinated and flowed smoothly. If any minor hiccups arose, they were gracefully handled—usually without us knowing they even happened! I have not been to many weddings where I can say the food was delicious but for Musket Ridge I can! Also, no matter what type of weather you have for your big day, they have plans A, B, and C-which was a major turn on for us. We had 170 guests and there was more than enough space. Their outside patio is another great spot for guests to step out and relax, while still enjoying the wedding. We had another wedding two weeks after ours and nothing compared to what we were given here! I HIGHLY recommend this venue for your wedding, you won't be disappointed!

They were always prompt in their responses, which was fantastic when I was having some bridal panic moments. The food was delicious and there were so many different food options. I received so many compliments from guest and everyone loved the location. It was an amazing day and I could not be more pleased with my choice to have it at Musket Ridge.

During the first meeting, my now husband and I were completely blown away by the gorgeous reception hall (Catoctin Hall), the outside ceremony space (and their rain contingency plan), as well as Bonnie, the Event Sales Manager. I knew immediately I wanted to have my wedding here, so we signed the contract that weekend. \rOverall, I was very happy with my experience with Musket Ridge. The food is PHENOMENAL. We were blown away at our tastings, and we received so many comments from our guests that the food was spectacular. As far as food goes, this place is first class. \rThe service we received during the wedding was also spectacular. The servers were attentive and no one waited for their food. Well done!\rI give Musket Ridge 4 stars for flexibility as they were a little weak in this area. With certain items, including the bar, we were stonewalled. Our coordinator lacked hospitality and customer service, both of which are essential to this industry. This problem corrected itself with our wedding being transferred to another coordinator. The second coordinator (and Bonnie) were understanding to our needs, and we felt much more at ease with them. \rBy the time our third coordinator came around (yes, 3 coordinators) we were back in the same boat. Albeit not her fault, our third coordinator had to play a lot of catch-up, as this change happened just weeks before our wedding. I believe our wedding suffered a bit with the changes. Our last coordinator was also a bit unresponsive. Her schedule seemed sporadic; she wasn't in the office Monday-Wednesday, and was typically very busy Thursday-Sunday (go figure). \rOverall, I recommend Musket Ridge! My only concerns were the high turnover of staff, and the lack of responsiveness and personable treatment from our third, and final, coordinator.

Chelsea our coordinator was quick to respond, knowledgable, organized and very helpful with my constant questions. She handled the entire rehearsal which was great because I had no idea. She handled almost everything on our wedding day including most decorations. I received glowing reviews on the food, signature cocktail and customer service from our guests. When we had our tasting, the food was good, we had a few critiques. But the day of, it was outstanding! The entire staff was very accommodating and helpful. I have nothing but glowing reviews about Catoctin Hall at Musket Ridge.

Musket Ridge offered us the beautiful mountain views we wanted for our wedding ceremony. They offer multiple backup plans just in case the weather does not agree. It rained on our wedding day and we had to use our plan B site for the ceremony. They set up the site so quickly and it was even more perfect that what I imagined. \r\rWe were impressed by the views, the atmosphere, the food, and the service. AMAZING!!! I had a wonderful experience at Musket Ridge Golf Club. The venue is beautiful inside and out. The view at Musket Ridge is spectacular, the golf course is well manicured and a challenging course for most, and Catoctin Hall is modern and stylish. The wedding coordinator at Musket Ridge is fabulous. She communicates quickly, efficiently, and even on weekends. She is very helpful with all wedding planning needs and recommended some great vendors for our special day. Addtionally, the golf course staff the day of the wedding were very professional and friendly. All my guests had an amazing time at the wedding and were impressed by the gorgeous views. The cost was competitive with other venues in the Frederick/Myersville area, we looked at many places during our search for a wedding venue but nothing beat the beauty of the Catoctin Mountains as the backdrop for a wedding. Lastly, we were able to have fireworks on the property for our 4th of July wedding, which made the night unforgettable. Overall, I rate this venue a 5 and would recommend it to any of my best friends or family members!!!!

We can't stop talking about our wedding reception at Musket Ridge!!!! We chose it because of the beautiful room and beautiful view. We ended up with MUCH more! Bonnie and JayJay were fantastic! So easy to work with and super sweet to my mom, my now-husband and me. I never had to worry about a thing the week of the wedding. All I had to do was show up and enjoy!!!! Plus, the food is fantastic!!!!!! Would recommend MR to anyone :)

So easy to work with and super sweet to my mom, my now-husband and me. I never had to worry about a thing the week of the wedding. All I had to do was show up and enjoy!!!! They have a large beautiful hall with many different lighting options, a built in dance floor, tv's to show a slide show, a gorgeous fireplace and mantel, and a long back porch/veranda that runs the length of the building.\rWe had a fall wedding and the colors of the trees off the back patio and out over the hills were beautiful!\rTheir food is excellent, and the two people we worked with to set the whole thing up (Bonnie) and run the event (JayJay) were very helpful. The event went off without a problem! I highly recommend this venue!

JJ and the staff at Musket Ridge were fantastic from start to finish. JJ helped me plan and organize the layout of the room to my liking, and make sure that all our decor was displayed exactly how I wanted it. We were running a bit behind the day of our wedding, and they were great at getting us back on track! The food was FANTASTIC and the grounds were perfect, even on a uncharacteristically warm March day. They even opened up the patio for our guests, giving us access to the most beautiful backdrop for photos and celebrating.

The staff is fabulous, especially the chef who is super talented.;Since the wedding venue is slightly new, you may need to do more planning and hand-holding here than other, more experienced places, however, if you like to be a planner, like me, that won't bother you at all. And their execution of my ideas was flawless.
