Cecil Creek Farm is a 42 acre organic farm with a wedding barn in the Southern New Jersey area. The rustic barn features barnboard interior walls with vintage green shutters on the inside of the windows. The venue offers multiple outdoor or indoor settings for ceremony and cocktail hour before heading into the barn for dinner and dancing! This working organic vegetable and flower farm provides couples with two beautiful horses in a sunset filled pasture overlooking the pond and galvanized windmill to take pictures before heading inside for their reception. The venue is located roughly 30 minutes from downtown Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with plenty of hotels/ inns for overnight guest accommodations nearby! Ceremony Circle at Cecil Creek Farm offers a rustic elegant sunset filled setting in a circular horse paddock under an old barn timber arbor/ chuppah or choose the “Hayzebo” in the perennial flower garden if weather permits! In the event an outdoor ceremony isn’t possible, the Greenhouse is a beautifully appointed alternative complete with living walls filled with succulents and greenery against aged galvanized tin and white barnboard as the backdrop. The property is full of green grasses iopen fields of wildflowers and lush trees. From the ceremony, couples can explore the property, taking pictures with the horses and chickens as the sunset filters through the leaves of the trees. This farm offers everything couples will need for their wedding day. The venue is pet friendly. With all-inclusive packages, couples can ensure everything is taken care of for their wedding day. They can relax in the bridal suite with members of the wedding party while staff members at Cecil Creek Farm take care of details such as event planning, setup, and cleanup,. Since CecilCreekFarm is a BYOB venue, Cocktail Catering is provided by a 3rd party vendor that offers beer/ wine/ signature craft cocktails and full bar service with freshly mulled mixers to compliment the Farm2fork dinner! Rustic bars made from old horse trailers and vintage campers are placed strategically around the property so guests are never far from refreshment! The TIPPS certified bartenders and liability insurance provide the additional services necessary for a safe, fun-fIlled evening for all guests.

Getting married at Cecil Creek was a dream come true! Not only is the venue itself beautiful between the marketplace for cocktail hour, the whole farm for photos, the outdoor former horse training circle as the outdoor ceremony space, the indoor greenhouse for an indoor ceremony backup, and the barn itself, but Rose and Lou listened to EVERY SINGLE DETAIL we were looking for and executed it perfectly. They were incredibly responsive from the point of booking through after the wedding day. Also, because they're a CSA farm, the food itself was incredible. Incredibly fresh vegetables, meats, cheeses, fish, and so much attention to detail with curating an incredible menu. They collaborated with all our vendors, most of whom they haven't worked with before, and you'd think they'd worked many events together. I would undoubtedly pick Cecil Creek if I had to do it all over again!

I am not even sure where to start with Cecil Creek Farm. From setting up my venue tour to booking to emailing to our taste testing to our details meeting to emailing some more and finally to our big day, owners Lou and Rose were there for every step of my day. Rose patiently answered all my questions and she always made me feel like her number 1 priority. Our guests RAVED about the food, décor, and atmosphere. I don’t know if I will ever hear the end of the positive feedback. The day of our wedding ended up being unseasonably hot and my grandfather passed out from dehydration. In the face of a medical emergency, the whole team from Cecil Creek stayed calm and kept me calm even in what could have been a difficult situation. From the owners to the chef to the coordinators and servers, every single person I interacted with was there on my wedding day to support me and my husband. Every person helped me in some way and made me feel so comfortable. I truly feel like a part of the CCF family, and I will 100% be hosting more events at the farm in the future.
