We had the most amazing wedding experience at cedar creek! The staff was so kind and easy to work with from day one. Emily was extremely responsive throughout pre-wedding planning, Skyler and Tessa were so helpful and efficient on the day of, and chef Todd made the most delicious dinner, and breakfasts. Having enough housing for everyone to stay on site was amazing. We got so many compliments and thank yous about how convenient it was. The after party was so unique and fun too, would definitely recommend to all couples. Could not more highly recommend this venue!!

We had the most amazing wedding experience at cedar creek! The staff was so kind and easy to work with from day one. Pros:- Venue is absolutely beautiful and perfect for a large group, the grounds basically are your groups own compound for the day. - Bar staff is fantastic and the food was great.- Easy to book - Cottages are beautiful and brand new. - Big spaces to stay with groups of 5-20 on the property. Cons:- Communication was difficult. The hotel booking website did not work with our code and it wasn't ever fixed. Once you can get ahold of someone at the front desk it's easier to just book through them. Ellen the manager is fantastic to work with. - Several of our guests had to switch hotel rooms because of wasps coming up through the floor vents. - Be prepared for very little help from your wedding cordinator. Our cordinator left the wedding halfway through and our photographer was much more helpful than the cordinator. We even had to organize our own wedding entrance. There was no coordination help. All in all I would recommend Cedar Creek with some heads up about the cons, if you have patience and over communicate you'll be in good hands.

This venue was the absolute best place to host a wedding weekend from the numerous accommodations for all of our guests to the variety in locations for our events. Our guest and family all commented on how nice it was to spend the weekend together. Spending the night in the manor house with my family and bridesmaids the night before made for the perfect day of our wedding just enjoying each other’s company. Additionally, having our ceremony at the lakeside, cocktail hour at the town hall and saloon, reception at the event barn and after party at the town hall led for maybe different beautiful views and experiences for our guests. All the staff were so nice and accommodating. We look forward to returning in the future or anniversaries or additional events!

We had an excellent experience with Cedar Creek! The place is magical with multiple venues on the property that accommodated rehearsal dinner, welcome party, wedding ceremony, reception and after-party. With guests from multiple cities, we wanted as many people as possible to be able to stay on the property and Cedar Creek fit the bill! We were very appreciative of the professional and caring staff who helped make the weekend that much more special.

We had the perfect dream wedding at Cedar Creek!! The venue itself is gorgeous and the staff was amazing!! Our coordinator Emily helped us through all the pre wedding stuff, like setting up tastings and just being available the whole time. Our day of coordinator was Stephanie and she was literally the best person there! She kept everything flowing smoothly, helped get our grandparents around everywhere easily, and got myself, my husband, our baby and our photographers down to the perfect sunset photo spot near the lake!!! She was ready to help with literally anything and everything we possibly needed. She even helped me bustle my dress! And the food was awesome! My family is picky with wedding food but Cedar Creek actually had great food for the reception and awesome pizzas for our after party. Everyone at Cedar Creek made it the wedding of my dreams and got so many compliments from family and friends who’d never known about it before. Such an amazing time!!! We plan to go back for our anniversary each year 💕

Entire day in one location was key for us in choosing our venue. We also didn’t want our party to end and the location delivered that! After party option available, including bonfire, and multiple on-site options! They have their own chef and bar services too, so not much left for the couple to coordinate! Took a lot of pressure off the planning. Very responsive and helpful staff.

There are so many great things I can say about Cedar Creek from the friendly and helpful staff to the amazing food and beautiful property! From the moment we toured Cedar Creek to the end of our wedding weekend, the staff at Cedar Creek were a huge help and very accommodating. They quickly answered all of the questions we had during the planning process and were there for anything we needed on the big day. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming not only to our guests, but also our vendors! Guests continually raved about the uniqueness of the different locations on the property and how gorgeous this venue was overall. We also heard from people all weekend about how delicious the breakfast was along with the food we had at our cocktail hour, reception, and after party. For our rehearsal dinner, we had their barbecue which was excellent and the chef was accommodating to any specific dietary needs/restrictions our guests had. Overall, it was all amazing from start to finish! We are so grateful to Cedar Creek for helping make our wedding day as amazing as it was and it was the perfect venue for our New Year’s Eve wedding! We can’t wait to stay there in the future!

I would choose Cedar Creek again and again. They were SO profesional and ACCOMODATING to our specific needs. Cedar Creek was a wonderful place to get married – I can’t recommend it enough. We were interested in a weekend-long affair where all the guests could stay on sight, mingle, and enjoy some beautiful scenery. From what we could tell, Cedar Creek is the only place within reasonable driving distance of St. Louis where this was possible and boy, did they deliver! Emily was our planning contact and she was super responsive and accommodating to a variety of our requests from the start. Cedar Creek uses a web-messaging system and Emily would often respond within a business day. If she didn’t know the answer to our question, she would seek it out and get back to us. We were planning the wedding from the East Coast, so having the ability to get details on the venue was crucial. At the time of our wedding, there were two packages available, a more basic one and a more premium one, and payment was per head. The set packages made it easy to think through the details and Cedar Creek worked with us to individualize it (e.g., we requested our favorite local beers and they were able to make sure those were on offer). Another example of their hospitality is their handling of the wedding cake. My parents were driving my favorite cake from Pittsburgh to St. Louis frozen (so it would stay fresh) and Cedar Creek let them drop it off and kept it cold for us for the week leading up to the wedding. The wedding weekend itself was expertly coordinated and the staff could not have been friendlier. We had great weather (early June, low-80s) and our guests had a fantastic time exploring the grounds, using the pool, or popping into Hermann for the early afternoon – we’re still hearing about how much fun folks had 6 months later. The food wasn’t unique, but nonetheless delicious and Chef Todd was really considerate of various food allergies and restrictions. The hotel rooms and the cabin lodging was modern, having been renovated recently, although one downside is some of it is on the pricey side, particularly for the area. All in all, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our wedding day – we highly recommend Cedar Creek!

Dream venue with a dream team! I knew half way through our first tour that this was where I was going to get married, and thankfully my husband agreed. It had everything we were looking for and more. Emily was my contact during the planning process, and I don't think I ever waited more than 24 hours for a response from her. We toured the venue 5 times total, and every time Emily was so patient answering my 20+ questions. We asked to shift the aisle at our ceremony site so our guests would be in complete shade, and with no hesitation Emily said yes and showed us right away the best location. Emily made it feel like I was planning my wedding with a friend and not just a vendor. Day of the wedding we had Tess as our coordinator, holy smokes was she on it. I gave her my schedule and she ran with it, making sure everything and everyone was on time. We even ran ahead of schedule! The men fished all morning while the women were getting ready in the manor house and Tess was somehow in 3 places at once, making sure everyone was happy and where they needed to be. There was a small miscommunication about who was walking me down the aisle, and Tess came straigh to me and we fixed it in 5 seconds. My entire day went off without a hitch, it really was my dream wedding. My guests are still talking about it 7 months later. Chef Todd is a genius with food, you don't have \"typical\" wedding food. When it came to choosing a wedding package, it was really easy. We added things on here and there, and it was never a hassle. The prices for everything weren't too expensive. You get your moneys worth at Cedar Creek. Our guests were able to enjoy fishing, hiking, and golf during their stay. The accomodations were top notch, whether our guests chose a cottage, hotel room or cabin, everyone was happy with their choice. Our wedding party stayed in the manor house the night of the wedding and it was perfect. Plenty of room, and we all had a great time. Looking back, there is nothing I would change about my venue and my wedding. The team at Cedar Creek really is the best and my husband and I have already booked our stay for our anniversary weekend next year!

Cedar Creek was the PERFECT wedding venue. We had the whole place to ourselves all weekend and it felt like a mini vacation with our friends and family. Cedar Creek offered all the best options and made planning a breeze! It was so nice to work with one vendor for catering, drinks, linens, and even some decor! Their property is absolutely beautiful and has the best indoor or outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception sites. We booked with them a little over a year in advance with their coordinator, Emily. She was phenomenal! Cedar Creek offered all the best options and made planning a breeze! It was so nice to work with one vendor for catering, drinks, linens, and even some decor! Their property is absolutely beautiful and has the best indoor or outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception sites. We booked with them a little over a year in advance with their coordinator, Emily. She was phenomenal! Emily was in contact with me all throughout our planning process and offered to meet multiple times to go over all the details. She was a huge part in making our day go smoothly. AMAZING! I looked everywhere for venues and had a whole brainstorming document. I was planning only 6 months out, and Cedar Creek staff helped me nail down the perfect date and all the details! This venue has it ALL. Hotel and lodging on the site for family and out of town guests to stay, and places big enough for the bridal party to stay the night before. They will block all the rooms on the property for your wedding once you book (automatic hotel block; one less thing in the to do list, score!) We had the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner on property site as well which was incredible; they were so accommodating to us. The venue & wedding coordinators completely ran my rehearsal and released each person in the processional at the right time day of! They set up all of my ceremony decorations, provided the chairs for the outdoor ceremony, etc. They had SO MANY decorations and signs I could use that I barely had to buy anything out of pocket which was a huge savings and a headache saver! I got to go in the day before the wedding at noon to decorate which was incredible as well (depends if there is a wedding the day before you). The wedding coordinator greeted all my vendors and took that load off of me. Reception was great between location in the barn, open bar provided by venue, food provided venue, etc. They provided all the table ware, flatware, table cloths, etc and cleaned them up after the reception was over (little to no clean up on my end). They offer a place for an after party after send off too which my family ate up! Stephanie and Emily were incredible and went above and beyond to meet all my needs. Stephanie even took me on a golf cart to hide me behind the doors for the ceremony so the crowd wouldn’t see me. We had access to golf carts as well to drive bridal party and us (the couple) around the venue for beautiful pictures. You won’t run shy on beautiful places for picture backgrounds! Not only is the venue a perfect site for rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and lodging but can be a get away for out of town guests. They have swimming, golf, tennis, etc. Can even use it as a little “bach trip” a few days before the wedding. 1000/10 recommend. All my guests complemented the venue and staff, and said it was the best wedding they ever been to. I am 23 years old, planned the entire wedding by myself which means I was bound to mess up but they helped me so much and the day was MORE than perfect. In booking their venue they also provided a complimentary room for me and my husband night of to go back to which was great. That also included breakfast where we got to meet the sweet owners of the venue. Long review because what they advertise can’t even compare to what they actually provide! LOVE LOVE LOVE

We had our wedding reception at Cedar Creek in June 2022 and could not be happier with our decision. Emily made the planning process easy and was happy to answer any questions in a timely manner. All of the staff were so kind and helpful on the day of the wedding which made everything even more enjoyable. One of our favorite things about our wedding weekend was getting to stay at Cedar Creek with many of our guests which allowed us to spend more time visiting with everyone before and after the wedding. We could not have asked for a better venue or people to have helped coordinate our special day. Everyone was extremely helpful and kind throughout the entire process, from initial tours to food and drink tastings to rescheduling dates as needed to accommodate our out of town schedule. Lindsey was responsive and patient, answering every question I threw her way. If she didn't know the answer, though it may have taken a couple calls to get through. She was reassuring with everything and was able to give us the most for our money, adding on items for the cocktail hour and the dinner.Our day-of coordinator, Ellen, was an angel. She helped take so much stress of me and my family on our wedding day - keeping us on track without rushing anyone. After all, \"we are the bride and groom and they couldn't do much without us anyways\" as she put it. I had to set up initial meetings for our outside vendors like lighting, DJ and Bakers but Ellen and Cedar Creek handled everything day-of, which was wonderful. If there were any hiccups, I never heard anything! Cedar Creek Venue itself was perfect for my family and my desired vintage/modern aesthetic. It was wonderful having everything in one place, knowing everyone could simply walk across the street instead of needing to drive somewhere. I would recommend for everyone to bring some extra blankets or sheets as they seemed to be sparse throughout the campus. We lucked out with the weather and had a sunny and 55 degree fall day, however it was nice to know there were back-up plans set in place to ensure our day would be beautiful if we couldn't have it outside. Though this place is not as up-to-date as other venues, does not have the highest of technologies or the fanciest of table settings - it was beautiful and felt like a true destination wedding away from the hustle and bustle of daily life - which is exactly what we wanted. The patio deck on the back of the Barn was a wonderful place for everyone to step away from the heat of dance floor. The food and drink was wonderful! I was a little hesitant with in-house catering at first, however the food is incredible. We received so many compliments on how delicious everything was, from the veggies to potatoes to the chicken spiedini (a must have from Chef Tod). I do wish there was someone there to remind us during the reception to do the little things, like the complimentary champgne that we never received or to cut our wedding cake. We had a dessert table and an open bar which seemed to have taken over these to things, however it would have been nice to have a coordinator or someone working to be on top of the little things - make sure your mom or MOH have a list of must have little things to do, specifically during the reception while you're walking around and greeting everyone, or dancing the night away. Everyone we worked with from start to finish was genuine and kind and understanding that it was OUR day and no one else's and made it their mission that we got everything we could imagine. The views are incredible (especially in the fall with the changing leaves) and our guests had a wonderful time knowing everything and everyone was so close. I cannot recommend this venue enough.

Hands down the most wonderful venue you can choose for your wedding. Chef Todd put together the most elegant appetizers and meal that our guest still talk about. Pat the property manager made sure that our experience was top of the line with zero issues. Everything was carefree and just absolutely perfect. The best venue ever. Perfect for our out of town guests needing somewhere to stay for the weekend. We loved the aspect that lodging was right there on site. Our guests made so many comments about how much they loved the venue and that the sunset views were breathtaking. The day of coordinator, Tess, handled so much behind the scenes and made sure everything was perfect. The bartender at our after party was INCREDIBLE and made us pizzas last minute for the end of the night. Chef Todd made the BEST dinner, so many people complimented it. Emily helped us plan every detail to make sure it would be executed well. Everyone was so accommodating and made sure our experience was a great one. I will look back at this place and this day with the fondest memories. 10/10 recommend!

We had an absolutely amazing wedding day. However, there were definitely some cons along the way that made the wedding planning process less than enjoyable. I want to be able to give a great review because of Anna and Ellen of Cedar Creek. The wedding side of things is handled by a company out of St.Louis and no one seemed to be on the same page or know who was in charge of things. If there was a question or concern they were often pawned off on others and we had to contact numerous people before finally getting an answer.PROS: -Venue is BEAUTIFUL.-They gave a same year wedding discount that helped us to afford it.-You could come out and do as many tours with family as you want.-You can take engagement photos at the venue for no additional charge. -Anna was our coordinator for lodging and she did her very best to help accommodate us and even was able to get lower rates on the rooms. (The pricing is extremely high for what there is.)-Everything went off without a hitch day of.CONS:-Communication was less than stellar. It was very difficult to get any response on honeybook, email, or text. -Pricing was very high because you are required to use their caterer now and have an open bar which put the cost at a minimum of $85 per person and $20 for kids.-The staff was rude when asked about adjusting the chairs for the ceremony and one of them was even complaining about it to an outside person who happened to work with the best man. -Though we were told that any leftover Kraken rum from the ceremony would be free at the after party for the Bride/Groom and parents, this was not communicated to the after party staff and we were not able to drink it there. (Though they did send the bottles with us at the end of the night.) -There was supposed to be staff helping to park and direct guests but instead the guests were very confused and did not know where to go to get to the ceremony. -The guests were supposed to be able to get food at the Town Hall restaurant after the ceremony, but without communicating to the bride/groom or anyone for that matter, the Town Hall was not open for food, only drinks. -During our pre-wedding meeting, we chose the linen color for the tables and requested ivory which was currently on the tables and my fiance and I had both said Ivory and instead we got white. When that was mentioned, we were met with attitude and told there was nothing that could be done and no attempt was made to make up for the mistake. Again, overall the day was amazing and beautiful! Anna and Ellen were WONDERFUL to work with!

We chose this venue because of the ability to have all the wedding festivities (rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception and after party) on-site and it was so worth it! The Barn is the perfect amount of chic and rustic. It was gorgeous for both our ceremony and reception and the back patio area showcased a sunset for us that was, no joke, magical. The venue is a huge choice in the wedding planning process - this is a great space, most items are included (linens, tables, chairs, day-of coordinator), has indoor and outdoor options, I could go on. I'm so glad we went with Cedar Creek and think you will be, too!

We wanted something different for our guests (we have been to a LOT of weddings) as well as a place for our out of town guests to stay. We got so many compliments on the venue from our guests. The Barn is a beautiful place for a wedding, but the scenery is perfect for pictures, everyone loved the western village, and it was perfect to have everything in one place. The food was great and well done and I have to say Mia, Melissa, and Hannah were amazing to work with! They made the planning and wedding weekend very easy! We wanted something different for our guests (we have been to a LOT of weddings) as well as a place for our out of town guests to stay. We got so many compliments on the venue from our guests. The Barn is a beautiful place for a wedding, but the scenery is perfect for pictures, everyone loved the western village, and it was perfect to have everything in one place. The food was great and well done and I have to say Mia, Melissa, and Hannah were amazing to work with! They made the planning and wedding weekend very easy! I can't say enough nice things about the wonderful job the staff at Cedar Creek did for my daughter's wedding reception last weekend. From the very beginning meeting with Lindsey in sales it was evident that we were going to be well taken care of on the big day! We sat down with Melissa a few weeks before the wedding to go over the details. I don't remember her saying no to a single request, and she even offered some great ideas that were incorporated in the reception. What a relief it was to hear her say \"we can take care of that\" multiple times in that meeting. The day before and the day of both Hannah and Melissa were the \"wedding coordinators\" from heaven, attentive to our every need, as well as those of our guests. We heard nothing but positive comments from everyone as to how wonderful this venue was. Anna at the hotel front desk deserves special thanks! She handled a problem with rooms (due to prior guest not checking out on time) with professionalism and kindness, offering an upgrade and discount to our guests staying on the property. Oh, and the food! The chef was kind enough to do a private tasting on our schedule since the bride and groom both live out of town. He offered us some wonderful choices and guided us through choosing what turned out to be a delicious menu! The wait staff and bartenders were very attentive and friendly to our guests. I would not hesitate to recommend this venue for a wedding or any other event.

I can't say enough nice things about the wonderful job the staff at Cedar Creek did for my daughter's wedding reception last weekend. From the very beginning meeting with Lindsey in sales it was evident that we were going to be well taken care of on the big day! We sat down with Melissa a few weeks before the wedding to go over the details. I don't remember her saying no to a single request, and she even offered some great ideas that were incorporated in the reception. What a relief it was to hear her say \"we can take care of that\" multiple times in that meeting. We had an amazing wedding at the end of August at Cedar Creek. My husband and I actually met at the Town Hall 3 1/2 years before we got married, so it was great for us when Cedar Creek built the new barn. Once the barn was built, we knew this is where we would want to have our reception. With the warmth of the barn, there is so much you can do, we used jewel tones and had such a great time. Cedar Creek was very helpful and worked alongside our wedding planner and her staff to create the most beautiful, seamless wedding beyond our wildest dreams. The bartenders were very quick and guests did not have to wait long for drinks. Their bar is also very well staffed. The bridal suite area is nice and it is great to have your own bathroom as a bride. The main reason I gave Cedar Creek 4 stars instead of 5, is due to the accomadations. New Haven is a very small town and there aren't a lot of places to rent rooms, mostly bed and breakfasts. If your guests are able to rent one of the houses or cottages for your event, that is usally a little nicer and more spacious. The rooms in the main are are very small, and there aren't many amenities. Overall we loved our wedding and would highly recommend Cedar Creek for a wedding reception or any event for that matter, they are very helpful and willing to work with you to help bring your visions to life.

The perfect picturesque venue for our rustic Fall wedding! The staff at Cedar Creek went above and beyond. They were always quick to respond and very accommodating. For example, I ended up with fewer guests than expected and they were more than willing to throw in upgrades so I can make up the difference. We did upgrade the bar package to include local alcohols such as Pickney Bend spirits, Robler Hill wines, and Second Shift Brewery beers. The food--oh man, it was SO good, I made darn sure I had time to eat (lots of people told me that the couple doesn't get time to eat--nope, not here). The rolling hills in the background as we said our vows, the patio lit up at nights with bright stars in the sky, the warm fire pit around which we smoked s'mores (while still being able to hear the band inside), the AMAZING modern barn where we settled in for the evening--everything was perfect! All our guests who wanted to stay overnight were able to do so. Some even stayed the weekend to enjoy all the other things Cedar Creek and the town of New Haven has to offer. Price wise, this was much cheaper than some of the options I looked at in St. Louis. It was about a one hour drive for most of our guests, which is not terrible at all. Most of the drive is through beautiful country roads anyway. I can't recommend Cedar Creek enough. We'll definitely be back to celebrate our one year anniversary next year.

When we got engaged we knew we had to find a comfortable place where we could afford to feed and booze 200+ guests. After attending a fall wedding here I knew this was the place! The staff works with you on everything and provide more than just an event space but an experience! My families rented out all the rooms in the lodges and houses on the property so they could stay the night. It was super easy to shuttle people to the Best Western as well. We had a cocktail hour followed by a reception in the barn. The food and staff blew my guests away! The gorgeous back patio allowed for great pictures and we even had a fire on the side with a cigar bar! Why end the party early? The offer packages for a late night party in the saloon! My guests absolutely loved this entire place and everyone is already planning trips back. This was hands down the easiest, most affordable, beautiful option! Cedar Creek offers the full package and is only about 1 hour outside of STL so it offered that destination feel. We were even married in a church in stl at 11 before our guests headed out. Go tour the property, it is beautiful for pictures and there is so much you can do in the new barn!

It was the most amazing day Cody, I, and our family could have ever asked for. We are beyond thankful for Jeni, Chef Charles, Patrick and the entire cedar creek staff! We signed a contract September 2015. Then 6 months before May 7, 2016 we got an email saying the original wedding coordinator is no longer with cedar creek. We were very anxious about this change. After the news, Cody and I spent an afternoon getting to know Jeni. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know her. After a few short months of continuing to get to know Jeni, she had to relay a not so easy message and informed Cody and I that cedar creek over booked on the evening of our rehearsal dinner and our families could no longer stay in the lodging. Originally this was essentially a deal breaker for us because having a venue to handle the ceremony, reception and lodging was a dream come true to accommodate for all family members. We found it very difficult to budge because we had signed a contract. Jeni was more than accommodating and flexible and turned every negative into a positive. She was apologetic, and went above and beyond to accomodate. A glitch in computer system failed to show the other group when we signed contract. This error was out of her control and she accommodated to make error more accepting. May 7 was the most perfect day at cedar creek. The food was delicious thanks to chef Charles and his staff. Our menu included: BBQ grilled chicken, beef brisket, roasted red potatoes, vegetables medley, salad and rolls. Our ceremony was at 4:30 down by the lake and our friends and family loved the wagon rides. During downtime, all of our friends and family enjoyed the western town, town hall, tasting room, and games out on the lawn. Reception started at 6:30 in the barn which was outstandingly beautiful. Jeni and the cedar creek staff were all accommodating and readily available every minute on May 6 and 7. I would not have ever dreamed for a better day for Cody and I.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception both at Cedar Creek on October 17, 2015, and it was beyond the wedding of my dreams! The property has the rustic old time feel just like I dreamed of, but the barn was so beautiful it gave a look of elegance! The staff was beyond accommodating! I could not have imagined my wedding running smoothly with having the wedding coordinator Krissy there on my wedding day. She was a rockstar and made sure everything was in order & helped with every need possible, I mean it literally when I say she helped us with everything! She went above and beyond in our eyes! I wish I knew everyone's name that was on staff that evening, even the owners were so amazing to be there to make sure we had everything just perfect from the day before the wedding at rehearsal to the moment we left the next day. We had about 150 guests, and I am still receiving phone calls from guests that have raved about much fun they had, how beautiful & different the venue is and how great the food was. To hear that it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to, makes me feel so good, but it would not have been the best wedding without Cedar Creek Staff! For dinner we had brisket, bbq chicken, roasted potatoes, Caesar salad and vegetables. We did the plated meal and it ran very smoothly and tasted great! We had a lot of guests stay the night, and everyone had a wonderful time. Tons of my family and friends are already planning another trip back to Cedar Creek. \r\rI have one happy heart, and want to thank everyone at Cedar Creek for their hard work and effort in making our dream wedding come true! My husband and I were looking for a venue that could accommodate people from all over the country and because most of our families and friends were traveling, Cedar Creek offered a scenic \"destination Wedding\" for which our guests could enjoy the activities on the property and not have to look elsewhere for entertainment. Another great thing about cedar creek is that they accommodated 115 of our guests for the entire weekend. The ceremony and reception were both held on the grounds, beautifully set-up by the coordinator Krissy and the Cedar Creek staff.\rThe staff is by far one of the best things about Cedar Creek besides the unique property itself. They truly care and go out of their way to make sure your needs are met, not just for weddings but in general. My partner and I looked into Cedar Creek for our wedding ceremony and reception. We were very excited about the space and had been hoping for years to get married in this beautiful space. We left our tours certain that they were not gay friendly. Countless times the coordinator talked about bride and groom, groom, groom, groom. We were two brides and that was made very clear and yet the language was not altered. She also rushed us and our parents throughout the tour. We sent an email stating our concerns and never received a response. We would not recommend any LGBTQ couples or allies consider them for their wedding.

We had our reception in The Barn at Cedar Creek. It was amazing! The space held our 300 guests. B/c we so many people we had to rearrange tables and chairs when the it was time to open the dance floor, but this could be avoided if we had less people. They gave us the option to use a caterer or Cedar Creek for food. We used Cedar Creek and it was delicious. The BEST was we had the option to secure the whole property (200 acres) and some of the other buildings/facilities, not just use of The Barn, for an additional cost. They have lodging for ~100 or so, and we were able to negotiate a cost for all the rooms so that a good number of our guests could stay and celebrate with us all night long! They staff was helpful, cherry, and they allowed us to customize our event so that it was perfect for us. They accommodated unique requests. Our band sounded amazing in the space - initially we were concerned about the echo, but a 9 piece band fit and sounded great. Although we only had the reception here (wedding was closer to the city) the property was amazing and if we didn't opt for a church wedding would have loved to have the ceremony outside near the lake. They seem to be able to accommodate a wide budget range - we could have booked only The Barn but loved all the ammenities so much we wanted our guests to enjoy the whole property and have the whole thing to ourselves. Our guests were able to enjoy \"cocktail hour\" in the Western Town before heading to The Barn for dinner and dancing. Everyone was talking about how great the place was. We had an amazing time, it was everything we wanted.
