Cedar Ridge Winery & Distillery is a venue located in Swisher, IA, providing a stunning location for your wedding reception and other events. This working vineyard offers a variety of stunning locations to host beautiful events, from intimate gatherings to more grand affairs. The chic Napa-inspired venue offers a plethora of indoor and outdoor locations to host your dream wedding. For generations, the Quint family has operated this farm, nestled in the heart of the Corn Belt. It was in 2005 that Jeff Quint founded Cedar Ridge Winery & Distillery to carry on the legacy of this land. Host your upcoming celebration at this gorgeous vineyard, boasting sweeping views and a variety of indoor spaces that will make your wedding most special. Accommodating up to 200 guests, the Event Center features exposed beams and windows which can be opened up to a stunning terrace. This indoor/outdoor space is ideal for larger celebrations and can be easily decorated to suit your style. For functions of up to 60, you might take advantage of the Tasting Room. High ceilings and the large rustic bar define the space with an industrial style that's softened by floods of natural light. Looking out across the rows of vines, the Vineyard room, again featuring lofty ceilings, can seat up to 40 guests. Of course, you may want to take advantage of the beauty of the outdoors by hosting all or part of your festivities in the open air. Cedar Ridge Winery & Distillery does more than provides ample space for a beautiful wedding. Their on-site catering is second to none, with fresh flavors that feature only the finest ingredients. The venue's talented chefs can whip up breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and desserts to suit your taste buds. You and your guests may choose to imbibe their lovingly handcrafted cocktails with their Iowa Straight Bourbon Whiskey, in addition to their premium wines. The venue provides bar and serving staff and their team of professional event coordinators will be by your side to bring your vision to life.

We had the best experience with Cedar Ridge for our wedding reception! We live out of state and set up a Zoom consultation with the event planner, Jessica, and we loved the event center space so much that we booked our date without ever visiting in-person. There are string lights on the rafters, so even without decorations the space is beautiful, and they recently renovated the patio space with pavers, fire pits and string lights which made a perfect indoor-outdoor setting after dinner.Cedar Ridge provides all of the tables, chairs, linens, dishes, glassware, catering and bar. All of the wine and spirits are distilled by Cedar Ridge and they can order beer through a distributor. You’re in total control over what you choose to host from their menu. It was so helpful to have that many decisions already made by picking a venue that provides almost everything.We had seen a previous review about the food being the “best ever” at a wedding, and everything we tried at our tasting was delicious. You really can’t go wrong! It’s been a few weeks now and we’re still hearing from guests about how much they loved the food and venue. Many of them said they can’t wait to visit again!

We had the absolute best day! Cedar Ridge and their staff went above and beyond everything we could’ve ever asked for! From the decor (they helped our hired help) to the food to bar, everything was absolutely perfect. We can’t wait to continue to go back for years to come and celebrate our anniversaries!

I literally do not have enough words to say how much I enjoyed getting married at Cedar Ridge. Literally everyone I encountered made me feel so special and like they really just wanted me to have an amazing day. Ashton (the event planner) was always available to answer any questions I might have had, and she truly thought of everything. PLUS they have the food and alcohol taken care of so with one decision you easily have three major items checked off your to-do list. And the best part? The food and wine are DELICIOUS. We had multiple people tell us afterward that the food they had was the best food they've ever had at a wedding before. It's honestly a no brainer to choose them for your wedding.

My husband and I have loved Cedar Ridge since we first started dating so having our reception there was a no brainer. The whole process was easy and detailed and Ashton made sure that everything was squared away well in advance. We got our catering through CR as well and we have gotten SO many compliments. We scheduled two tastings to ensure that our menu choices were exactly what we wanted. I would recommend Cedar Ridge 1000 times over to anyone looking for a beautiful and affordable wedding venue.

I could not have asked for a better place to have my wedding and reception. My husband and I choose to have a Sunday wedding to keep costs within our budget, therefore, the price was very reasonable to have our wedding at such a memorable location. The setting is absolutely beautiful outside and inside, so it did not require much decorating at all! I received many wonderful comments from guests on how it was such a lovely venue and the food was delicious. The pizza and apps buffet was a hit! Having the venue provide there own catering made the process so much easier. I cannot thank Ashton enough for her help throughout the entire process, from communicating via email about concerns and opinions to helping on the wedding day with anything we may need. My husband and I will definitely be returning for wine and pizza to reminisce on our special day.

Absolutely wonderful venue! We loved the photos in the vineyards and having the ability to enjoy the outside patio during our cocktail hour and reception. Everyone loved it as well, as we received many compliments of how great everything turned out. The food was amazing and we loved Ashton was great to work with. She's very laid back and matches your flow.

We could not have been happier with our choice of Cedar Ridge Winery for our reception venue! Ashton was very responsive to emails, and was able to answer all questions or find out the answers for us. Cedar Ridge provides their own catering, and looking back, it made the entire process SO much simpler (especially for a couple planning from out-of-town). Not only was the food delicious, but there was no need to ensure a third party caterer could be accommodated in their kitchen. The event space is a separate building from the main tasting room, and it has beautiful bay doors that can be opened. For our wedding, these were perfect to open once it cooled down, and it allowed a wonderful breeze and for guests to easily flow in and out. Our wedding was approximately 130 people, and it felt like a good size for this amount (though it can hold a max of 200). The day was beautiful, and guests loved the beautiful sunset over the vines. I would recommend the space in a heartbeat!

My Fiance and I have our wedding reception booked at Cedar Ridge Winery and we cannot wait! Food tasting set up was perfect, Ashton gave a great tour of the winery and endless selection of beverages. Venue is stunning and the places speaks for itself.

I’m so happy we chose to have our reception at Cedar Ridge!! All of the staff was amazing, we worked closest with Ashton and Chris who were beyond helpful. When the bridal party getting ready location fell through, Ashton went out of her way to ensure I had everything I needed to prepare for the day. She was always easy to get a hold of if we had any questions or concerns and made sure our day was perfect. The venue itself is gorgeous. We got married November 18th, 2017 and although it was cold, the vineyards still looked amazing. We utilized both buildings and it was perfect for our 165+ guests. The food was so delicious, everyone loved the parmesan au gratin potatoes but everything on the menu is a winner. So happy the law passed allowing cedar ridge to serve their own whisky, rum, etc. in addition to their amazing wine, there was something for everyone!

I can not express enough how amazing this venue is! We had so many compliments that it was the best wedding venue a lot of our guests had ever been to. We had a lot of guests who traveled from all over the country and they all had such wonderful things to say about the scenery, food, and atmosphere! I have absolutely no complaints they made our wedding day truly special!

Cedar Ridge was easy to work with, very responsive and gave me lots of autonomy when it came to the little details of our wedding. We had our ceremony and reception there... it was an August wedding and the outdoor ceremony's scenery was incredible. The reception was inside, but we were able to open garage doors so people could be inside and outside. There were fire pits and the ambiance was very casual and comfortable. It was perfect. We worked with Ashton and she was great. The food was incredible. We wouldn't have changed a single thing!!
