If I could give Cescaphe 100000 stars I would. Every detail was perfect and its clear they know how to throw a GREAT wedding. From the start, they gave us a planning checklist for what we had to accomplish over the next year (e.g., 12 month mark, 8 month mark, and so on). We also had various scheduled planning calls with a Planning Coordinator, Devan, and Event Manager, Shaina, who helped us with every last detail of making our wedding perfect such as timeline, entree selections, our cake, etc. On wedding day we also had a materdee, Dario, who checked in on us and got us cocktails when we needed, water when needed, and also prepared a beautiful spread of cocktail hour highlights post ceremony where we had a moment to ourselves.Overall, unreal experience with Cescaphe and I would recommend them to anyone looking to get married in Philadelphia area.Thank you Cescaphe team, Shaina, Dario, Devan for everything!

We had our wedding on 10/6 at The Downtown Club and it was the best experience of my life. From start to finish Cescaphe knows what they’re doing, if you need a vendor, they have someone. If you have a vision they will make it happen. Cescaphe kept us on a timeline and made sure my party was perfectly planned down to the minute. Oh and I planned this whole wedding half way across the country! Seamless!!

We got married at Water Works and it absolutely exceeded our expectations. The space was absolutely beautiful, the cocktail hour was unreal, and the food was amazing! We got so many compliments from our guests. Cescaphe was great to work with from start to finish, the whole process was super easy.We were most impressed with the day-of. Everything ran so smoothly, the Cescaphe team took care of every little detail. The staff made us feel so special on our wedding day. I would highly recommend Cescaphe for anyone! It was truly a perfect day thanks to Cescaphe.

Cescaphe was incredible! We got married at Vie in August. The outdoor ceremony space was perfect, even in the heat (we gave all of our guests fans and tissues as they walked in.) Our guests also enjoyed the courtyard throughout the reception for cigar smoking, cornhole, and mingling away from the very busy dancefloor. The venue itself is spacious and well-decorated, with tons of natural light, new wood floors, and the incredible mosaic in the atrium. All of our guests raved about the food (it really is that incredible), the staff (so accommodating!), and the seamlessness of coordination with the Cescaphe trolley. We planned most of the wedding from California, and felt very comfortable working with Joanna who accommodated our schedule and virtual meeting needs. Our maitre’d was Marsi, who was responsive, patient, and kind - she made sure we ate all night and kept us on time for everything. The bridal suite was absolutely necessary - we used it a lot for staging, changing, and taking a moment for ourselves.If you can swing it, Cescaphe is the best!

When my husband and I were venue hunting we had a wish list: a good rain plan, good food, near water and was historic. There are a lot of gorgeous venues in the area, but only one we connected with: Water Works in Philly. We actually both went to Drexel, which you could see from the reception area. Back when we first starting dating, there was a restaurant there, we had even had a date night at the restaurant, so the Water Works had everything lined up. They had the best rain plan because the wedding would be the same rain or shine, which was important to us because we were getting married at a rainy time of the year (and of course it rained on our day). Every person who attended our day just raved about the food (and the bar lol). The best part of our experience at Water Works was the event manager there, Lexi. We absolutely ADORE her. She was thorough, responsive and kind. She was our girl and she made every part of our experience memorable. She could even handle some tough questions and anticipated our needs before we even asked. I could not say enough nice things about her. Every time I looked up she was hustling and moving. She seemed to be in every place at once on our day, attending to us and also our guests and making sure everything went to plan. She really made our day special and I appreciate her so much. Thank you thank you Lexi & the Cescaphe team that made our day magical.

My husband and I got married at Vie on 8/12/23 and it was everything I ever could have dreamed about and more. Joanna was our go to and she was extraordinary and went above and beyond what I ever expected! The day itself was so amazing it felt like a dream! From the food waiting for us in the bridal suit to the crazy amazing dessert everything was perfect!! Our maître d’ Marci (not sure if that’s how it’s spelled) was magnificent and went above and beyond all expectations! She had my dress bustled in 5 minutes and that is no easy feat that thing had a mind of its own! But everyone was absolutely amazing and I couldn’t have asked for it to have gone any better!!

My husband and I got married at Vie by Cescaphe on July 8, 2023, and to say the night was perfect would be the understatement of the century. We had heard so much about Cescaphe before we booked with them, but had never been to a Cescaphe wedding before. And to be honest, we were a little worried. We're not over-the-top type of people, and our family and friends are from a variety of backgrounds. We wanted to create a great experience for all of our guests that was luxurious, but still felt accessible. We knew that our day would be great, but we doubted that one company could do everything perfectly. We were wrong. Every step of the process was so incredibly professional and easy. We could not go 30 seconds without someone telling us it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Every bite of food was out of this world, from the steak and lobster tails down to the cookies that came with the coffee. Our cake was more perfect than I could have dreamed. Our parents were gobsmacked that they had their own server, and every worker we encountered was so kind. Our incredible planner and maitre d rolled with the punches of us moving the ceremony indoors because of unexpected torrential downpour. Our group showed up to the venue early to escape the weather, and we took over the space while everyone was still getting ready. Cescaphe greeted us with open arms and plates of food. Everyone at Cescaphe was so, so warm and professional with us throughout the process. We truly feel like they listened to attentively and created the best day of our lives -- a day we and all of our guests could truly enjoy. We simply cannot recommend them more.

The Cescaphe team was fantastic to work with from start to finish! From choosing our venue and date with Betsy, to getting the planning started with Keara, nailing down details with Chelsea, and Marci taking such good care of us on the big day, we had a dream team! Every time we see family or friends, we hear another good thing about the venue and food. The Lucy was our dream venue! Modern, yet classic, and absolutely beautiful. As we’ve all heard, the cocktail hour can’t be beat! But don’t worry, dinner and dessert are fantastic as well. My husband and I truly feel that we got a great value for all that Cescaphe offers. There were so many moments during the planning process when I thought, wow I definitely would have had to pay extra for that elsewhere. At the end of it all, we had our dream wedding and would have loved to have been guests! We're hoping someone we know will get married at a Cescaphe venue soon, so we can experience the other side of it all! Until then, I'll keep recommending the Cescaphe group to anyone planning a Philly wedding!

I cannot recommend Cescaphe enough as a wedding venue. We hosted our wedding at their venue, The Lucy, and it was such an incredibly special, perfect night. We worked with Chelsea and Zoe from the Cescaphe team leading up to the event and they were both fantastic. They were very knowledgeable, responsive, friendly, and professional. They did a great job advocating for us and working with their team to make our night unique to us and accommodate our requests, big and small. Zoe was there for our event and did such an amazing job keeping everything running smoothly. The night went off without a hitch and everyone raved about the food and how accommodating the staff were. We also loved our matre di and the whole group of staff who made sure we were looked after during the wedding. They were always making sure we had a drink and were fed, which goes for our parents too. We also worked with Devan prior to the planning process and she was really helpful and coached us through the beginning stages. You are in amazing hands with Cescaphe, and you won’t regret working with them to host your wedding!

We got married at Cescaphe's Water Works venue on May 6th, 2023. We didn't sign out contract with Cescaphe until early November 2022, so our planning process with pretty quick. Cescaphe was amazing from start to finish. We started off working with Devan then we were passed on to Water Work's event manager, Lexi. Both Devan and Lexi were very helpful. Lexi was really our go-to person in the final months. She extremely detail oriented and efficient. Cescaphe makes everything super easy by including everything that you'd ever want for your cocktail hour and a half, reception dinner options, and dessert/cake. It's much less to worry about compared to other venues. They also helped us set up many of our vendors and our hotel room block. Lexi worked very well with our outside event planner, Lauren, from LJE Events. They worked seamlessly together on the day of as well. Lexi was proactive and make sure that all details for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were perfect. Lexi redid our floor plan about 5x leading up to the event with a smile and without making me feel like I was being a bother. Overall, I would recommend Water Works by Cescaphe 10/10. I may be biased, but it's the most beautiful venue in the city.

I will start out by saying that I loved my wedding (we had ours at The Lucy), and I’d do it all again at Cescaphe. Now that I know how they are, I would change HOW I worked with them. I do think it’s important to go into it eyes wide open. The positives: the venue was gorgeous and the food spread was delicious and so plentiful. Guests were in awe, as Cescaphe executed on what they do best and are known for - the food and drinks. The added hour that comes in the package is also very helpful and worth it. We also loved the vibe at The Lucy and are so glad we picked it (it is classic yet new and modern, and you also cannot beat the location). The reason for less than five stars is really that for the price Cescaphe charges and the salesy promises they make, they should be held accountable for this offering, and clients should go in eyes wide open and prepared. Cescaphe presents a premium price tag and brand, yet truly delivers mass market service and customer experience to the bride and groom, and for now they can, because they have such a stronghold on the Philadelphia wedding market. They run a very specific playbook, and they don’t deviate from it, and as they have grown, they cut more corners. I would caution clients to save every file and document they provide you before you sign, as you will likely need it a year later when they try to tell you something is different or changed. You really need to stay in top of them and ask your event manager about everything. For us there were some small things that didn’t really matter, but the biggest disappointment was the bar. Cescaphe is known for one fixed price for top shelf liquor, but the night of our wedding, several premium liquors that were listed in the sales package were not there. The iconic bar at The Lucy was so sparse looking. We regret specifically not going over every liquor with them beforehand to ensure what was in the contract would be there, but we didn’t think we would have to. It was so frustrating. They really sell (and put in the contract) “top shelf” open bar, but they ended up removing the top of each category without telling us. Later they said it was due to “availability.”Other tips- the “concierge” is completely laughable. It consists of a bunch of 24 year olds googling and giving you canned information and referrals that you can frankly get yourself, at the same public rates. They don’t deviate or go above and beyond. They were fine but really not needed, completely an oversold service. Also do your homework- your venue event manager will tell you you can only do things a certain way, but that is just the way they prefer it. If you push them or show them internet posts of your venue set up another way, for instance, they will allow it. You really just need to ask and be extremely proactive and detail oriented. Finally, the fact that Beautiful Blooms is the only vendor that can hang things from the ceilings or turn the lights on in the venue for a fee (“up lighting” as they say) is annoying but the sad reality. If you can spare the added logistics, only use them for what you have to and get the florist you want. Cescaphe’s preferred vendors are fine, but they certainly are not the best or the most economical. Finally, they totally overstate the venue capacity. Beware of that and round down. Like I said, my wedding was amazing, all the guests seemed to have a spectacular time, so it might seem like I’m nitpicking. But when you are shelling out so much money, you expect a service level that frankly isn’t there. The guests won’t feel it (which is great), but you as the bride and groom sure will. If they want to continue to play in the premium space, it’s time to act like it. So just be prepared, squeeze out everything you want from them, hire your own coordinator, and then enjoy your wedding day!

Cescaphe is the best! If you’re thinking about doing a bunch of the little things yourself or going somewhere else? Stop what you’re doing and take a good look at Vie. We had our wedding there on St Patrick’s Day 2023 and it was spectacular. Joanna and her team covered every detail from start to finish so that our day was nothing but enjoyment. Planning a wedding is very stressful. My wife is an amazing planner and even she said “My God, they make it so easy for you there.”We have older parents and they took such great care of them the entire night. It’s little things like this that set Cescaphe apart. And the food?? The appetizers alone will blow you away! A seafood station with lobster, a steak station, a Mediterranean station, a sushi station and something like 80 appetizers being walked around on trays. Unlike other weddings I’ve been to, the food was everywhere. Drinks? Same thing. Fantastic bartenders making some amazing cocktails and I don’t think I saw a real line for a drink all night.I cannot recommend the people and the venue from Cescaphe highly enough. If I could rate them higher than 5 stars I would!

Cescaphe was incredible start to finish! They helped guide us every step of the way and made everything so simple. Francesca connected us with multiple vendors which took the stress right off of our shoulders during the planning process. Whenever we had questions, she was so responsive and informative. When we were handed off to Joanna at Vie, Cescaphe did not miss a beat. Joanna immediately stepped in to handle the rest of the planning. She was always attentive, handled all of our requests seamlessly, and if there was ever something we needed and she didn’t have the answer, she went out and searched to get it for us. The day of our wedding was spectacular. It was everything my now husband could have ever imagined. A dream come true! When we walked in for our first look of the reception area, our jaws dropped. Everything was decorated beautifully. Our guests are continuing to tell us how amazing everything was. From the venue, to the food, etc. Joanna’s team went over and beyond to make everyone satisfied. One server we were particularly excited to see as a part of our day was Jay. We met him at Cescaphe University and you could tell he was genuinely invested in giving the best possible experience to anyone he encountered. Our Maitre D, Dominique was incredible. She was there for us every step of the way and made sure we had everything we needed and more. She was a foot in front the entire time. The head servers made our VIPs feel like royalty and the bartenders kept everyone happy with drinks throughout the night. We couldn’t be more thrilled that we booked Cescaphe to host our wedding. It was the best decision we made and we know that we will always be a part of the Cescaphe family. Cescaphe weddings are ALWAYS the best. Before having ours at Cescaphe Ballroom in January 2023, we attended two others at the Vie and Tendenza, so we knew our wedding would be epic! I had assumed Cescaphe would be out of our price range but hosting our event on a Friday in January was incredibly affordable and we couldn’t believe how much we got for our money. Planning a wedding out of state is a task I wouldn’t wish upon my worst enemy but working with our event manager Lilly was absolutely seamless. She was so helpful in answering all of our questions, working with us on every little detail, and being flexible with appointments since we were out of state. The staff on our wedding day was unmatched, led by Marci and Carleen. Our parents felt so taken care of and like true VIPs. Our guests could not stop raving about the food!! If you are on the fence, we can not recommend Cescaphe enough!

Where do we even begin with Cescaphe?! We have nothing but WONDERFUL things to say about them - truly the BEST of the BEST! From initial conversations with Alexa in winter of 2020 and our tour of a few venues (which were amazing), once we settled on The Lucy, we started working with Victoria. She was so responsive, and answered all of my lengthy questions even though my wedding wasn't for another almost 2 years at that point! It put me at so much ease during the wedding planning process. Also, their connections and team dedicated to helping you plan other aspects (room blocks/hotels, seating chart, enhancements, photo booth, band) you name it, Cescaphe has the answer! It was truly so reassuring to have so much support throughout the planning process.When it came to our actual wedding day, we were assigned Chelsea has our main Event Manager. What an absolute joy to work with - she is truly remarkable! She truly helped make our wedding dreams come to life. Not one detail went unnoticed and Chelsea and team did an unbelievable job. She put up with every question and request I had and was so flexible and made it happen no matter what! I knew from our meeting and walkthrough at the venue, we were in great hands, but she and the team truly exceeded all of my expectations. Thank you CHELSESA!! She also gave us the best of the best in Franco, who took care of us on our wedding all night long! Anything I needed - he was right there with us.We can't say enough wonderful things about Cescaphe and The Lucy! From start to finish, they do it RIGHT! All the wonderful things you hear about them are so true - especially the hospitality and of course the FOOD. It is truly unlike anything or any wedding you will ever go to. Our wedding will be something our guests will continue to talk about for a long time, and we have Cescaphe to thank for a lot of that! First of all… does your wedding even count if the reception isn’t at a Cescaphe venue? October 29th we had the most amazing reception at the Lucy and the guests are still talking about it. This was not my first Cescaphe rodeo. My proms & both of my brothers receptions were at Cescaphe venues and once you experience it there is no going back. From the service to the food to the beauty of their spaces… there is no competition. Chelsea was our coordinator and when I tell you she was the BEST I mean it. She is on top of anything and everything you throw at her! Everyone needs a Chelsea. Franco was our maître d' and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of that entire night. If I could go back I would do it all over again exactly the same way. We can’t thank Cescaphe enough for making our wedding so amazing!

We had our wedding at the Cescaphe Waterworks venue. This will be the event of your dreams! We were SO happy we could make it happen to have our wedding here! We had to postpone our wedding 3 times because of COVID-19 and they were so flexible, understanding, patient and kind. I honestly never once had a second thought or concern. Our guests could not stop raving about the food, literally every person that came up to us said it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. Also the most beautiful wedding space they'd ever been to. Having everything under one roof (food, table settings, Beautiful Blooms, ceremony and reception space, wedding coordinator, wedding cake, etc) was a LIFESAVER. You will absolutely not regret a single thing about having your wedding or event here! Book it!! We worked with Lexi as our coordinator, and Franco as our maitre D' and they both completely exceeded expectations!!

Choosing Cescaphe (Water Works - Engine House) as our wedding venue was easily the best decision we made in the wedding planning process. Our day was made special and perfect because of the care and attention to detail from the Cescaphe team.Friends and family are still talking about the beauty of the venue, the beyond amazing catering spread, and how smoothly and pleasantly the staff helped the day go, even months later! Many have said it was the best wedding they have EVER attended (and I may be biased, but I have to agree!)Cara was especially kind and helpful with last minute adjustments to our big day and always helped us out with patience and a smile. We had our wedding reception at the Down Town Club, and I cannot say enough about how amazing Maia and the rest of the team were throughout the planning process and the day of the wedding. Cescaphe knows what they are doing and we felt confident throughout the process that our day would go smoothly. Everyone that we worked with was very professional, helpful, and responsive. The reception was absolutely beautiful, and you can't beat the views from the Down Town Club. Our guests have been raving about how good the food was! We have had a number of people tell us it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. Vincent, the maitre d', as well as the staff taking care of our parents, were so great and attentive during the reception and helped the night go smoothly. Everything that is included in their package (cake, ice sculpture, etc.) is also amazing and a great value! We are so glad we chose Cescaphe and highly recommend them!

I cannot get over how perfect my wedding was due to Cescaphe! As soon as I reached out to them they were super helpful in helping me find the venue of my dreams!!!! Once booked, they were on it! They knew exactly what I had to do and when to do it by! If your someone who isn’t’t great at planning or is not up with the newest wedding trends, I would 1000000% have a Cescaphe wedding! I could not have asked for a better experience working with Maia. She helped me out throughout the whole wedding process. The night of theWedding I was assigned Vincent as my Maître d’ and OMG!!!!!! He made my wedding go so smoothly and was next to me every second with what I needed!!!! There was zero stress from the day I chose Cescaphe to the next day! The Down Town Club was beautiful!!!!!!! I only have amazing words for this company!

We had our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception at WaterWorks, and it exceeded all of our expectations. The staff is incredibly accommodating, and from the moment we started planning, they were there to make sure every aspect of planning and execution ran smoothly. Cara and Kathleen both helped us find vendors and plan our perfect day. The day of the event, both of them helped keep everything on track and took so much off our plate. We moved out of state shortly after booking the venue, and they made planning remotely as painless as possible. Also, if you go to WaterWorks, Franco (the head maître d) is one of the caring and experienced professionals we’ve ever dealt with. He anticipated our every need, sometimes even before we knew what we needed. Besides the incredible service and views, the food left all of our guests in awe in both its quantity and quality. If we were to do it all again, we would choose Cescaphe 10/10 times.

We had an incredible experience with Cescaphe! Jimmy and Nikki were absolute professionals and worked so hard to make our night a dream at The Lucy. Even though Cescaphe is such a large company with so many weddings we felt the process was super individualized while also making the decision and planning process super easy and non-stressful. Our guests still talk about the food and atmosphere of the whole evening and that it was the best wedding they have been too!

We had an amazing experience hosting our wedding at Vie! Everyone at Cescaphe made the planning process so easy. Joanna was our event coordinator and she was such a pleasure to work with. No request was too small for her and she truly wanted to make our day special. Planning a wedding is stressful, but Joanna and Cescaphe definitely took a lot of that stress away for us. The wedding day itself was perfect, they set everything up so beautifully and made our vision a reality. Our guests have raved about how amazing the food was. Daniel, our maitre d, was so professional and accommodating. We loved our wedding at Vie and would definitely recommend Vie or any Cescaphe venue to others.

I was a Covid bride who started out with a date at Tendenza and ended at the Lucy 2 years later on 4/15/2022. To say my wedding was a dream come true is a understatement. Everything was more then I could have ever expected and done beautifully. The food was beyond amazing and SOO much of it. The staff went above and beyond for everyone especially myself and my husband. There was not one thing that was not handled perfectly! Franko even got me fried Oreos before i walked down the aisle because I was so excited for them! Truly the best day of our lives and I could not recommend this company and venue more!

I have dreamed of being a bride since I was a little girl, as many of you probably have as well. When I say that the girl's at Cescaphe blew me away, I mean WOW! They were Amazing. I was contacted by a sales associate named Lisa who was absolutely AMAZING from the start. She personally met me for my tours (which included every venue because I am a self proclaimed bridezilla). She was so patient with me through my dozens of emails and calls frantic about when and which venue I should choose. She walked me through the process and held my hand the entire time. I even got to see her again when I went to the Cescaphe U. I cannot wait for my big day to come. I just know I am in the best hands and could not be happier with how wonderful this team was to me.

I have heard so many wonderful things about Waterworks and how gorgeous the weddings are as well as the food being absolutely delicious. We had inquired to set up a tour to host our ceremony and reception there due to the great reviews we've heard as well as the beautiful grounds and waterfront. Unfortunately, this was not our experience. It started okay with a few emails inquiring then planning a time to talk on the phone/schedule a tour. I never received a call when they said they would and no one contacted me for three weeks via email, voicemail,etc until I had to reach back out saying I never received contact. It took a total of five weeks to get a tour. I had to state twice in the same email thread what venue I was interested in before I got a tour. I wasn't told who would give me the tour or who to ask for etc. I was unaware it wasn't going to be with who I was emailing with. The lack of communication already made me nervous but with the city opening back up I just assumed everyone was booked and overworked so I didn't want to make any judgements giving the benefit of the doubt. We had planned to do all of our tours in one weekend, this was our second tour. We arrived, no one introduced themselves, started the tour, asked if we wanted to see outside, how many people we had and then began. The tour in total from start to finish even sitting down going over all that was included was less than 15 minutes. It felt very rushed, they had no knowledge of whom I had been in contact with. I asked questions about handicap accessibility (extremely important) and the response was \"oh we would handle that\" without any further explanation. The tour guide seemed way more interested in describing how delicious the food was and how beautiful the venue was. When asked questions on pricing they did not know the ceremony fee or any other fees. The tour guides demeanor, lack of attention or understanding of my vision or questions really made me feel very uncomfortable. We had been on three other tours that weekend and it was a COMPLETELY different experience. I left this tour completely shocked at how unprofessional it all was. We heard that Cescaphe throws beautiful weddings however looks over the needs of the individual and runs it solely as a business and we also have heard the opposite. I truly believe this could be based on the individuals doing the tours or initial contacts via email or phone. It bummed us out that our first exposure was so negative we wouldn't feel comfortable moving forward.I did send an email to the company in which Betsy herself personally called me ( I have not engaged with her prior) and she was very apologetic and explained this is not how they conduct tours and unsure why any of it occurred. She did explain that the tour guides don't have access to pricing. However, I inquired multiple times about pricing prior to the tour via email that I didn't receive which I was under the impression I would receive at the tour. Betsy handled everything so well and offered another tour to myself personally. I am giving two stars because of her professional nature but unfortunately from start to finish every individual I had contact with was not anything that we expected.

I got married at The Down Town Club on 2/18/22 and it was the absolute best day of our lives! Since signing our contract to our wedding day, we could not have asked for anything better. The whole process was so smooth . We worked with Maia who was PHENOMENAL! She always answered every question I had and made sure that everything was just as I had envisioned. Day of the wedding was an absolute dream, they took care of every little detail and made sure that we were taken care of all the way through. Our Maitre d was outstanding and would always make sure that we had a drink in our hand and would check in on us constantly throughout the night. The food was amazing and the venue was stunning. I cannot recommend enough!

I don't even know where to begin because Cescaphe EXCEEDED our expectations. My husband and I got married at Vie and being a Cescaphe bride was better than I ever could have imagined. I felt like a princess the entire night! When we first decided we wanted to get married at Vie, Cescaphe sent us a list of vendors which made our lives so much easier. All of the vendors communicate with Cescaphe so that was one less thing we had to worry about. We began working with Joanna O'Donnell a few months prior to our wedding and she made sure that every single detail was taken care of. There were many guests, including myself, who have celiac disease and Joanna met personally with the chef to ensure that everything was labeled accordingly and they even made our wedding cake gluten free so that I could enjoy it as well. When we first walked into the ballroom, we were blown away by how amazing it looked. Everything was PERFECT! We have been married for almost 1 week and our guests are still raving about the food and the venue. From cocktail hour, to dinner, to dessert, everything was beautifully presented and tasted even better than it looked. I seriously cannot recommend Cescaphe enough. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure the bride and groom are happy all night long. It was truly the best day of our lives, thanks to Cescaphe, and especially, thanks to Joanna.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Cescaphe Ballroom on 1/8/22. Cescaphe was wonderful! The Ballroom is such a beautiful venue, the food is amazing, our event managers Bella and Andrew were so attentive, and it was all in all just a wonderful night! As a covid bride, the planning process was.. not fun. We had to postpone our original date, and then we ended up holding our wedding at the peak of the highest surge of Covid cases seen over two years into the pandemic. We are so grateful to Cescaphe for being flexible with us as we navigated this tough situation and being so easy to plan with. We had to redo our seating chart every single day for the two weeks leading up to the wedding and Bella was so on top of all these changes and made sure all the table settings were perfect, rearranging the tables making sure the room never felt too big and there were no empty chairs. She and Andrew were also so dedicated to making sure we had a perfect day. They were one step ahead of us all day and made sure my husband and I had a fresh drink and plate of food at every stage throughout the night. They were so on top of the timeline making sure everything was perfect. Our parents also loved all the VIP attention. Our (very large) bridal party had the best experience and loved the pre-cocktail spread Andrew and Bella and the staff put out for us. Every single guest has given us so many compliments on the service, food, and beautiful venue. Cescaphe is the best! We are filled with so much joy and laughter looking back at our wedding- thank you Cescaphe, Bella, and Andrew!

I was a Cescaphe bride myself in 2018 and thought they did a great job for my wedding. However, I think Cescaphe has changed tremendously in the past 4 years and they are not the company that they used to be. I have been a guests at multiple Cescaphe weddings since 2018 and unfortunately the food and the service are not the same. They quality of the food has gone down, the service has been absolutely terrible at some of the weddings and the couples I know that have dealt with them recently expressed that they have been very hard to work with. I was the maid of honor at my sister’s wedding and they were impossible to work with when trying to re-plan a wedding because of COVID.

From the time we signed the dotted line to the time we left the reception, the entire process was absolutley seamless, stressfree, and enjoyable. A HUGE shoutout to our amazing coordinator, Jimmy DiGuglielmo. He was so organized and calm throughout the entire planning process and at the reception. Our guests were blown away by the service, the food, the venue...you name it, they were raving about it! He made our reception everything we could have dreamed of and more! I know I can speak on behalf of my parents when we say how amazing you and the Cescaphe group were to work with! We would absolutley recommend them to our friends and family who are planning their wedding in Philadelphia.

Hands down the best in every way possible. We had our wedding at the Lucy which is located right outside the iconic brad street photo spot. The venue was like being at an exclusive concert hall that was modern and elegant. Acoustics were amazing - our band sounded incredible. There is a stage which made it the best. The location is perfectly nested within all of the center city hotels for your out of town guests as well as bars and fun sites. IT's attached to the Cambria so it's even easier to stay over as the wedding couple. The Food is the best. Everyone says it but it's true. Our guests complimented how great the cocktail hour was - that it's out of this world, an hour and half and has something for everyone. The drinks were top shelf. The reception meal was incredible too - hot and delicious. The planning staff is remarkable. We had Jimmy at the Lucy and he was a joy to work with. IT is 100% worth the investment - HIGHLY recommend!

The day of, we had both our event coordinator and a personal maitre d', both of whom were fantastic. They were super attentive, and made sure we were appropriately fed and taken care of the whole night, so we could focus on enjoying ourselves. We highly recommend Cescaphe and would absolutely choose them again!

We had an absolute amazing wedding! Everything was perfect -- from the food at the cocktail hour, the entrees & desserts! Our service was fabulous as well! We received countless compliments on how well run and organized everything was. I want to thank Jessica who made the planning process SO easy! She walked through all of the wedding details and we had her complete trust throughout the whole process. We leaned on her for suggestions, and she definitely did not disappoint. She saved us so much time and stress and we could not thank her enough! Ed, our Maitre De was also amazing! He made sure we enjoyed cocktail hour, always had a drink in our hand & continued to check up on us. We’ve attended at least a dozen Cescaphe weddings, and they were all so fabulous. Choosing Cescaphe was an easy decision from the start, but we were not prepared for the impeccable care and service taken to ensure our wedding day was perfect. The venue was easily the most streamlined & simple part of the planning process. Even our details meeting was fun, exciting, & special.The food, drinks, and service were unmatched, in addition to the venue being absolutely stunning.Our day was truly perfect, and we must credit two absolute rockstars who made it go off swimmingly- Bella D. & Andrew G. To say these two are professional is the gross understatement of the century. They made us feel as though we were family with such genuine happiness and excitement. They made sure we didn’t have a single thing to worry about, except enjoying our time with family & friends and making sure we had food in our stomachs and drinks in our hands. Any potential issue (minimal and unrelated to the venue itself) was handled with calm and ease by these two and their fabulous staff. Our families and bridal party felt so welcomed & taken care of.I could go on forever about the attributes of Bella, Andrew, the staff, & venue- but I’ll end by saying thank you to Cescaphe for being the best in the business and creating a truly unforgettable experience for us. 10/10 would recommend.

We got married 11/19/21 at Tendenza and I am feeling such a high still. It was truly the most magical day and night and I just cannot believe it's over. Everything was amazing. All the details were ON POINT! The staff was simply the BEST! They were so kind, helpful and accommodating. They truly do it all right and have this work down to a science. We worked with Kathleen and Ramsey for the night and both was seriously incredible. I'll never be able to say enough positive words. My only regret is that I didn't take the time to eat the incredible food our guests are talking about. Wishing and hoping we get invited to a wedding there in the very near future so I can enjoy myself on a different level! Thanks for all the patience during the crazy postponing and talking me off a ledge once or twice. It was sooooo worth the wait and was everything we ever dreamed of...AND MORE!

We got married 10/16/21 at Tendenza and it was exactly what we hoped for and more! The stage is a perfect space for a live band and plenty of dancing on the dance floor. The modern, chic interior complemented our lush florals perfectly. Our guests raved about the quality and quantity of the food! And we got sent home with plenty of leftovers! At times we wish responses could have been more timely during the planning process but we know everyone has been doing their best in the wedding industry with COVID and we always had a point of contact who made sure our questions were addressed. We wish we could live the day over and over again because it was such an awesome time! The cake was gorgeous and customized to exactly what we requested. Joanna was excellent! Highly recommend working with Cescaphe!

My husband and I got married at the Cescaphe Ballroom Nov 5, 2021 and special thanks to Bella and Andrew for making our wedding an absolute dream. It was everything we could have hoped for. Both Bella and Andrew were one step ahead all night, catering to our every need. With Cescaphe I did not have to worry about a single thing. Everything was taken care of and for that I am so thankful because we got to enjoy the entire day without any stress. The details, the professionalism, the food, the venues and vendors -everything was PERFECT. Do not hesitate to book Cescaphe for your wedding. You will not regret it! Also would like to shout out Cescaphe's concierge services and associated vendors: Beautiful Blooms (florist), Capelli and Trucco (hair and MUA), Cescaphe Trolley (transportation) who all were a huge part in making our day magical! The biggest disappointment from our wedding was working with Cescaphe. All of our vendors were very understanding when we were rescheduling except for Cescaphe. I will start by saying don't trust anything they say. We originally had our wedding scheduled for Sep 2020, but knew early on that an indoor wedding will not be happening and tried to reschedule it as soon as possible. Cescaphe said we would have to pay a lot more (for 2021 prices) and after a lot of back and forth and heartache, we decided to move it to a Friday. We thought that would be the worst of it but things never got better. We were told that they will work with our minimum (since we had booked pre covid, a lot of our family lives abroad, and cases were on the rise right around our wedding and the mask mandate was reinstated in Philly) but were charged the minimum 3 days before the wedding. And to make matters worse, we were told that it would be ok to leave our things in the coatroom at the venue and pick it up at a later time. When we picked it up, almost half of the items were missing. We had a call with Joe to try to understand what happened but nothing came out of it. They do not care about their couples at all!

Real review from a reasonable bride: I had such high hopes of Cescaphe after being a guest at several weddings.... and I will never see them in the same light again. Maybe covid just brought out the worst in this wedding company but our experience was not one of butterflies and excitement. We originally booked The Lucy for 11/2020, when COVID started and things were looking grim I tried to be proactive and move the date-- I was told at that time to sit tight because they weren't dealing with us yet. So we did just that, then when it was our turn they offered us dates at the Lucy in 2022, or Feb 2021 which wasn't far off and felt unrealistic but I tried to be optimistic. We booked it for February to be optimistic and eventually ended up having to move it again. At that time we were offered even later dates at the Lucy or we could switch to their outdoor venue for October. We wanted to do right by Cescaphe and so we postponed again and this is where it all went downhill. We had to first pay additional fora park rental fee and the venue, which lacked so many things The Lucy had. We complied and moved forward. When we went to see the venue for the first time it didn't look like the stock photos-- the bar was broken, there was drapery thrown up on pillars haphazardly, there was a bridal suit that was a shed, the grass was over grown and there was bird poop on the floors so needless to say we were disappointed. We had many questions on that tour about what we could and couldn't do and every question answer was \" we will get back to you.\" It often took weeks for them to get back Truthfully that is a horrible business model and they need to better educate the ones that are on site and helping clients. We ultimately hired an outside event designer to help elevate this space. She and her team were faced with so many obstacles from this venue. The owner, Joe Volpe was not easy to work with through the whole process. We ended up missing out on a few of our rental items because near the end of the planning process Joe wanted to be in control of the rentals, and then dropped the ball letting down the client. This is not how you run a business. He refused to let them set up early on the day of the wedding, although the space was empty but offered them to come on Thursday to set up. Mind you, my wedding was on Saturday, so the wedding on Friday was going to get all my decor ideas on my dime... again this just isn't how you run a business. When the class action suit came up in regards to Cescaphe, I was contacted and I wanted to stay positive and declined being involved and I regret that decision. They are a wedding pumping company, who has very little flexibility to their venues and ultimately only cares about the money. If I could do this again, I would have left Cescaphe completely out of my wedding day and used EVERY other vendor who worked with us to make our day truly special.

WARNING! Make sure you read all of the bad reviews before booking an event with Cescaphe. My wife and I are part of the long list of Cescaphe victims due to Covid. Rather than handle the situation with some understanding, Cescaphe chose to cease communication and steal our $5,000 deposit. We were forced to find another wedding venue, and although the loss of $5,000 hurts financially, I am thrilled that is all Cescaphe got out of us. During such difficult times, Cescaphe has decided to put so many couples through hell as they continue to thrive. They are a horrible organization, and I strongly urge you to spend your money elsewhere.

Like so many other 2020 couples, we had to reschedule our wedding 3 times, and eventually change locations. We were originally booked for Cescaphe Ballroom on 4/10/20 and had two Ballroom dates after that before moving to Cescaphe's new outdoor Franklin's View venue on 6/18/21. Throughout all of the changes, Lisa Lucke was absolutely amazing in every way. She was always honest with us and supportive, giving us advice on dates and keeping us up to date with capacity changes in the city. It was clear that her priority was making sure that we would have the wedding we wanted and planned, rather than settling for anything less than dream wedding, which I really appreciated. By the end of the process we were joking that we felt like we had been friends for years and that it would be weird not to talk on the phone regularly anymore. After our third date (4/10/21) at Cescaphe Ballroom had to be postponed, we made the call to move to Franklin's View. Our event manager Katie S. was awesome. She answered all of our questions (and there were a lot because the venue was new, we had never seen it before, and there weren't many pictures available online) and would always make time for a phone call with me. She helped us make changes to our original menu, cake design, and ice sculpture. Our day of manager, Mary, and our Maitre D, Daniel, were likewise incredible. Mary and Daniel made sure that everything was perfect and the night flowed smoothly and on time. Our families and bridal parties still talk about how awesome Daniel was. He always made sure we were well taken care of, bringing us personal plates of cocktail hour food while we were mingling with guests, and always made sure we had whatever drink we wanted in hand. The venue itself was magical and stunning. We got so many compliments from our guests. I originally had some hesitation about moving our wedding to Franklin Square because it is a public park, surrounded by lanes of traffic, but any concerns I had faded away the moment we arrived. There were no issues with noise from the park or the street, and our guests loved being able to go over and ride the carousel and take pictures by the fountain. The venue also had stunning views of the Ben Franklin bridge. All of the food and drinks were excellent, and we were BEYOND OBSESSED with our cake and ice sculpture. They were more beautiful than we could have imagined. Although our wedding was not at the venue we originally selected, we could not have been happier with how everything came together and with our wedding day. We truly had the best day and the Cescaphe wedding of our dreams!

Cescaphe is truly the best wedding venue you could ever ask for. Everyone would always ask me how I did it postponing my wedding 5 times due to the pandemic and my answer was always because I am lucky to be getting married at a cescaphe venue. Everyone was so accommodating through out the entire process. Lisa is absolutely amazing and always went above and beyond when I had to post pone multiple times. She would answer my calls at all hours and was so understanding and patient with me when I wasn’t sure whether I wanted to postpone or not due to not wanting to have too many restrictions. Nikki, my day of event manager was the absolute best and made the last few months of wedding planning so easy. Any question I had she always had the answer immediately therefore I never ever had to stress that anything was being missed. She thought of absolutely everything. Our night of maitre’ d, Franco was so awesome. My husband and I were blown away at how well we were treated the entire night, he went above and beyond to make sure we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. The whole cescaphe team treats you like you are family. I finally ended up getting married at waterworks on June 25, 2021 with absolutely no restrictions and when I walked into my wedding it truly was breath taking and exceeded absolutely all of my expectations. All of our guests can not stop raving about our wedding and one guest put it perfectly, “absolutely off the charts.”

Our Water Works wedding last weekend was phenomenal! The most beautiful wedding I've ever been to. Our day of coordinator Katie was so great and so accommodating. The staff at the venue was also very gracious and attentive to everyone. The schedule went off without a hitch. We've received so many compliments about every aspect of the day. Cescaphe was also very accommodating when we needed to change our date due to Covid and worked with us on pricing when our guest count changed. They are a strong group of wedding professionals that goes above and beyond.

I started planning for my wedding in early 2021 and I am so glad I did not pay much attention to the more recent negative reviews and chose the Cescaphe team for my wedding.... my experience thus far has been so unbelievably wonderful, I felt the need to add my notes in case anyone else was worried about the recent reviews. The Cescaphe group has gone above and beyond to ensure I am happy, prepared, and ready for my big day. The team spends extensive amounts of time planning with you before your big day. Betsy and Devan are an absolute pleasure and I cannot imagine trusting this big day with any other team. I'll be back to leave a review next year once my wedding is over but I expect it to be no different than this.

We booked a wedding that they were not able to deliver due to COVID restrictions yet they refuse to refund us our deposit. We booked and cancelled only a few months after, without them doing any work for us other than show us the venue and exchange a few emails. Philadelphia still is not allowing indoor catered events so they could not have given us the wedding we were paying for at The Water Works. They also refused to work with us and honor our rates for a later date. Find a place that actually cares to do the right thing. They have been so slow to respond to our refund requests that we have been now going on a month of trying to get any sort of communication from them.

I give them ZERO stars! Awful company. They received money from all wedding parties and stole it! Terrible service ! They stole $5,000 from me! I cannot understand how they have a 4.9 rating. I used your website to find them and what a scam! Just awful people! Philadelphia was completely shut down, we had no meetings, no menu selection, absolutely no service to us at all and were rude on the phone. I cannot understand how they feel entitled to hundreds of couples' deposits! When a wedding is suppose to be a happy joyous time, Cescaphe ruins that for sure!

Absolutely terrible. I was supposed to get married at Cescaphae Ballroom in August. Philadelphia was shut down and Cescaphe was forced to stay closed. They had zero outdoor options at the ballroom. We wanted to get married at Cescaphae in August and they could not provide the service that we paid for. We had NO meetings, menu selections, table linen choices, absolutely nothing. They refuse to give back our deposit and every other couple’s deposits that I’ve spoken to. The fact that they feel entitled to this money is disgusting. Please do yourself a favor, and do not choose to get married at any Cescaphae venues.

They then blew us away with the great communication, pricing and options for our special day which was a HUGE bonus! Being a COVID bride has not been easy but Dana and the Cescaphe team has been nothing but accommodating and understanding. From answering me later in the evening to being patient as we changed our date multiple times it really has been the best COVID bride experience. I can't wait till August to celebrate our new wedding date safely!

Would give zero stars if it was possible! This is a terrible company. Not only do they lack any type of class but they do not have the common decency to respond to emails that we have been sending them for months. Unfortunately we were scheduled to have a 300 wedding at one of their venues and obviously with Covid-19 that is not possible anymore. They REFUSE to respond about giving us our initial deposit back. It is sad in a time when so many people are hurting, and our other vendors understand that they refuse to refund us our money even though we can’t have the wedding we were promised by them. Shame on your CESCAPHE. No one use their venue’s! Much better options with good people out there.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. We were so excited to book with Cescaphe pre pandemic. They appear to be a great price for what you are getting. What they don’t tell you is that they will be unresponsive, non negotiable, and unfair when it comes down to it. We booked Vie for a 400 person wedding in the spring. Obviously with covid that would not be an option. We asked if we could scale down to 50 people and do a fully outdoor courtyard ceremony. They would not accommodate due to our original minimum. We then asked what are other options were to get married on the same date. They didn’t offer us anything of interest and said the force majure in our contract will not hold up for a global pandemic, and they refused to refund our deposit. It has been several months and no one will respond to us.

We could not be happier with our decision to book a Cescaphe wedding. As a newly engaged couple, we couldn't wait to tour every single venue but due to Covid-19 restrictions that made it nearly impossible. We spoke to Alexa our incredible sales manager who answered every single one of our questions, and then some. My fiancé and I made the decision to book a Cescaphe venue (Tendenza) completely unseen. All of the Cescaphe venues are absolutely breathtaking, so we decided in a 2020 world, the location didn't matter and what we were really buying was the Cescaphe brand. It truly is the staff, food, and customer service that will make our wedding spectacular and have made our wedding planning process a breeze. Due to Covid-19, we understand that nothing right now can be certain. Although we are hopeful, that we will get married this October at Tendenza as planned, we are confident in Cescaphe's thoughtful contingency plans and safety procedures that our wedding will be perfect wherever it is! The Cescaphe team truly treats you like family and there is no other team that we would rather work with. Wedding planning is always stressful but I've always felt in great hands with Cescaphe since day one. A special thank you to my rock stars Alexa and Victoria! You two go above and beyond. Thank you for the countless emails, phone calls, and advice. I feel so lucky to be a Cescaphe bride. It was the easiest decision, I've made since saying \"yes\" to my fiancé!

Our wedding was originally planned for 275 people at The Lucy, but with the pandemic things quickly changed (twice!). We saw that Cescaphe was offering an outdoor microwedding option (up to 50 people) in Vie's Courtyard and we knew that's exactly what we wanted if we couldn't go with our original plan especially since we did not want to postpone. On the day of, the plans changed again(!) because of the cold and rainy weather, and because our wedding was so small we were able to move indoors following all the city restrictions. Even though we never planned for having the wedding indoors, the place was still so beautiful! Through the whole process, Cescaphe was great to work with. They were super understanding and extremely considerate with our concerns with COVID-19. Dana was our Event Manager and she was awesome. She helped the day go very smoothly and I am grateful for that. Just like every Cescaphe wedding, the food was sooo delicious! I do wish we were able to have our big wedding at The Lucy because I know that would have been amazing! But I'm very happy with how the microwedding turned out and happy that we were still able to celebrate at one of Cescaphe's venues. I think it's worth it to spend a little extra at Cescaphe because of all the great things that they offer within the price and their top of the line service!

I am not rating Cescaphe based off the wedding but instead of the lack communication. I always dreamed of having my wedding at Cescaphe, so when the time came I could not wait to tour. Due to covid, I understand the communication would be rocky at first because of the staff needing to help with the brides who already had their weddings planned. However, when the time came, we toured Tendenza and Waterworks. My fiancé and I fell in love with Tendenza and we asked if we could book for 2022. The coordinator told us we could not because they did not have 2022 pricing (understandable) but would have it by September/October. In September, we emailed the lady back and she stated they still didn’t have pricing but we were “penciled in” for our date. A couple weeks later, we get an email stating we are going to get a call about Tendenza. Thinking “finally we can put money down,” we were told we couldn’t have the place for our date anymore and had to pick a new venue (either the Cescaphe Ballroom or Downtown). We were upset but gave several dates and times to see the places. After several emails, we got one email back stating our times/dates did not work. So, we sent two more emails for new dates and times and NEVER got a response back, so we gave up. For a top company in Philadelphia, there was no communication at all and no urgency to keep us. We will we’re willing to pay a little more because we heard great things about Cescaphe. However, do I want to even try to attempt to have this type of service on my wedding day? Absolutely not. I am really not the type of bride to care about a lot of things but to feel disrespected by being promised a place and then not even help us out decide on another venue made me feel like we were worthless. I know other people were having problems with the company, including brides who already booked with them. Hopefully they can fix this issue before it gets worse.

I believe I am in the same boat with a lot of covid brides who booked a wedding through Cescaphe when I say the communication was non-existent. I didn't have it nearly as bad as some brides but booked a Nov 2020 date. Was not hearing back about trying to book a 2021 date even though I was trying to be proactive. I was told to get in touch in a few weeks while they prioritize canceled weddings which I respect and understood. Waited a few weeks and had to follow up a few times but finally got a new date for 2021 back in June. I had to read about their covid plans through googling them and stumbling upon random articles and social media posts about their updated micro wedding venues. We finally had to make a decision to keep it in Philly or not and tried to contact to see if there was other plans in place if we couldn't do our normal 150+ head count but got nothing. We found a venue in NJ and emailed Cescaphe to cancel and still never heard back. My advice would be to not book until things go back to normal. I know from experience how great a Cescaphe wedding can be but to not have any type of communication for the one of the biggest days in your life was disheartening. My sympathies are with the entire wedding industry during this time but my fiance and I would have just appreciated some communication

Horrible customer service during a pandemic, heartless. When a bride has to cancel her wedding three times and then ultimately has to cancel because her wedding as planned at the Lucy for 200 guests can not be accomodated due to state regulations deposits should be given back. The communication was awful, and once the cancelled wedding date passed we have not been able to contact anyone. Stay away, seems cescaphe has gotten too big and no longer cares about their wedding couples. Heartless!

My husband and I got married at Water Works by Cescaphe in June 2019. We cannot say enough great things about this event great. From start to finish they make the entire process seamless and simple. I had decided not to hire a wedding planner which I was hesitant about at first. However, with their planning teams and your own personal wedding coordinator at Cescaphe, I didn’t even miss not having the wedding planner. The days leading up to the wedding were stress free due to their perfected scheduling. They seriously think of EVERYTHING! The wedding itself was flawless. There is not a single thing that went wrong. Our day of coordinator and maître d were phenomenal. There was no favor or request that they couldn’t satisfy. The bride and groom and important family members such as parents and grandparents had their own waiters so that their day was as stress and worry free as possible. Having our wedding at Water Works was the easiest but best decision we made in planning our wedding. When getting married in Philadelphia, Cescaphe is the only way to go.

Holy Moly, Cescaphe was AMAZING!! We had our wedding at the Down Town Club right before all of the CoronaCrazy. They were just tremendous. They handled the last minute cancellations with professionalism and compassion and reminded us that we were a team. They were SO prepared and helped us be organized at every step of the way from the drop off date in advance of the wedding so we didn't have to stress to the clean up and break down of the function - including delivering leftover food to our hotel!!The setting for the wedding was absolute perfection. The city of Philadelphia never looked so gorgeous as it did outside of their big glass windows. And the color scheme and the clean, modern, ballroom is just amazing to behold. And don't get me started on the food!! It was epic!! We had so much and are still receiving compliments!! Also - not only did we have a staff member dedicated to getting us food and drinks all night but each set of our parents had THEIR own staff member. Truly, it was the most magical day and we were SO lucky to work with Cescaphe. They have wedding planning down to a science, but also go out of their way to wow you with personal details and extravagances. If we were doing our wedding all over again, I'd choose them in a heart beat!

The Cescaphe Event Group is the best of the best from the planning stages through the execution on wedding day. We had both our ceremony and reception at Tendenza which was wonderful. The cocktail hour-and-a-half was fantastic and people were amazed at all the hors d'oeuvres and that was just the beginning! Everyone loved dinner and all the desserts as well! The staff at Cescaphe are all amazing. The people who make sure your planning goes smoothly as well as the people who are there day-of to make sure everything goes off without a hitch. Cescaphe Event Group is the best in the wedding industry! I’ve been a guest at most of their venues and every location is amazing and filled with a wonderful staff, so you can’t go wrong. Our wedding reception was at the Cescaphe Ballroom on May 4th, 2019 and it was an absolute dream. The venue is classic, beautiful and spacious with the best bridal suite. Dinner & dessert was magnificent but the cocktail hour (& a half) with endless food was the highlight that had people talking for weeks. The bar was top shelf and everyone had such an amazing time. The entire CEG staff is efficient, attentative and always on their A-game. From beginning to the end, there are coordinators that help you along the way to make your life easier while wedding planning. Once you’re booked, there are CEG events that you can attend with helpful tips & guides along with a preview of their food that you can taste. The day of the wedding, there’s a Maître D that takes care of everything so you can focus on enjoying your big day. I cannot thank Cescaphe & their staff enough for providing us with such a beautiful wedding reception and truly taking care of us and also accommodating our parents making them feel equally special. If we could, we would get married here over and over again. Also shout out to our amazing wedding coordinator Mary Ma. Thank you for helping make this dream come true and “saving lives”. Nothing compares to Cescaphe. From start to finish everyone and everything was beyond perfect. When my now husband and I got engaged in June 2018 I kind of knew I wanted our wedding to be downtown. We looked at a few different venues but ultimately decided on Vie by Cescaphe because we liked the modern look at the venue and it was big enough to accommodate a large wedding. From then on everyone was so helpful. Sharon found our hotel and then our initial planner Danielle was there for months to handle any questions and help with all our menu choices and details. We were then assigned Holly who I cannot say enough good things about. She was perfect and made sure everything up until our cake cutting went smoothly. The day of the wedding when we saw the courtyard and ballroom For the first time we were speechless. Everything looked so tasteful and elegant. Both my husband and I, as well as our parents had a maitre d’ with us the entire night who always made sure we had drinks and made sure we ate. The bar service was top notch, we had 5 bartenders so there was never a line. The cocktail hour was unbelievable as well as dinner and dessert. People have been raving about the food and the entire wedding. We honestly do not have one negative thing to say about the entire process or night. They do a wonderful job and have everything down to a science and every single person we were assigned to was helpful and more than accommodating. My husband and I as well as our families were so impressed!

Everyone that we worked with from Cescaphe was so professional and helpful, but I want to give a special thank you to our wedding day coordinator, Mary Ma. She made the entire day run smoothly, and was prepared for every scenario! From pinning my bridesmaid’s ripped dress to bustling my ball gown wedding dress, she was absolutely incredible. I planned my Cescaphe wedding for years. I knew I wanted to get married at one of their venues after seeing friends getting married with them. I stayed in touch with Rose O. even before I was engaged and she kept me in the loop on their venues. When we heard that they were opening a new venue, The Lucy, we were very excited. The renderings, showing a clean, rustic yet modern venue, were beautiful and the fact that we could get \"new venue\" pricing was a great selling point. The planning with Cescaphe was relatively seamless. Rose was a doll and I'm so happy we got to work with her. We picked our menu with another woman who was also great. Day-of, we had Dana and Tom. We were also very happy with them. The venue was perfect. Our guests LOVED cocktail hour (who doesn't love a Cescaphe cocktail hour) and were amazed by the venue and service. Two small things that weren't deal breakers that did happened (let's be honest, I'm still giving a 5 star rating because it was THAT great): 1) We were promised we could have a farm table for our head table made of several of the long wood tables. We were then told we wouldn't be able to do that and would have to rent a table because they said the other guest tables couldn't be moved. Well, I complained enough where they did do as promised and we got our head table. 2) If you've been to a Cescpahe wedding, you tend to know that cocktail hour and dessert are usually in the same location. I think a number of our guests thought we didn't have dessert because it was back upstairs where cocktail hour was. I wish the staff and our DJ did a better job of directing people back updates for dessert. BUT THAT'S LITERALLY IT. Minor things that did not change by 5-star rating. I wish I could get married at The Lucy again and again (to the same guy of course). My friends and family all said how they wan to/wish they could have gotten married there too! It was a dream!

The event was magical, between the service, the food and beverages, the cake, and the decor! The bride and groom, and parents, were assigned personal attendants for the evening. Every request was looked after. Guaranteed to exceed your expectations! We cannot thank Jackie enough for coordinating everything so effectively. She was so professional, calm and enjoyable through the entire process. Chelsea from Beautiful Blooms, a subsidiary, most beautiful decor ever! We had people who have attended weddings all over the world who said, “absolutely best wedding ever!”.We really liked the Water Works venue for its location and charm. When Cescaphe said they could provide everything but the photographer and music, we were sold! They coordinated everything ,food, beverages, wedding cake, flowers, lighting, decor, trolley service, hotel recommendations, hair and makeup, and needs of the band and the photographers.We could of gone anywhere in the Philadelphia area and worked with anyone. We feel very fortunate we chose Cescaphe. Most amazing event with the most amazing event company!

Anyone in Philly knows that if they book a wedding with Cescaphe that you will get the royal treatment, but even knowing that information ahead of time, my husband and I were still BLOWN AWAY with the level of service we received the whole time. Kelsey worked with us to plan every detail of our wedding and we met via phone calls and in person meetings. We were met with champagne and treats during our planning session, and Kelsey beautifully summarized everything for us afterwards. Shortly before our wedding, we were transitioned from Kelsey to Katie, who would be running our event. Katie and Kelsey were both a pleasure to work with, and incredibly reliable and kind during all of the back and forth. Katie also saved the day by navigating a last minute request from my parents, which I'm still eternally grateful for. The day of the wedding was a dream. Jarred was our Maitre D and I'm not kidding when I say that my husband and I wanted to stay friends with him at the end of the night. So professional and friendly. All of the staff were at a similar level in their kindness and professionalism. They made sure we had a minute to eat and always had a drink in our hand. We specifically got married at Tendenza, which is just so beautiful. We had just under 170 guests and the size seemed just right for that number of people. Right behind the ceremony space are two single bathrooms and a bridal suite that really came in handy when you needed a second to yourself or run to the bathroom as a bride. I've had a number of guests tells me that it was the best wedding they'd ever been to, and while I'm biased because it was my wedding, I'd have to say the same! Could not have worked with better people or at a better location. Would absolutely recommend.

I knew when I was looking at venues online that I would book the Down Town Club. We looked at other venues, but when we went for the tour it was everything I wanted and more! Being an all inclusive event group, Cescaphe really makes it as stress free as possible from the planning stages to the wedding day itself. Every person we worked with was very knowledgeable and professional and was a pleasure to work with. Our wedding day was perfect and went off without a hitch. Our guests raved about the food, location and views and we couldn’t have been happier! We felt like guests at our own wedding and they made sure that everything ran smoothly. I can’t recommend Cescaphe and the Down Town Club enough! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!

Cescaphe Ballroom was AMAZING. Everyone was was wowed by our ceremony and reception which were hosted at Cescaphe Ballroom. From the red carpet entrance with champagne greeting, to the insane cocktail hour and a half, to the dessert display every thing was perfect! We loved every second of having our wedding at this venue. The staff were amazing as well. All our guests had such positive feedback about their experience. Our event manager was Holly and our maitre'd was Jarred. They were amazing with helping coordinate day of with the ceremony and reception. They made sure my husband and I always had a drink in our hand and enough food to keep us full. I cannot recommend Cescaphe Wedding and Cescaphe Ballroom enough. Choose them for your wedding and you will have the best time of your life!

We worked with Kelsey and Mary throughout our wedding planning process and then Mary and Dan at the Cescaphe Ballroom on the day of, and cannot thank each of them enough for everything they did leading up to and the day of the wedding. They made everything absolutely seamless and exceeded what we could have imagined. Cescaphe is efficient, dependable, and over the top, in the absolute best way possible. Now we are just keeping our fingers crossed that we get to attend another Cescaphe Event so that we can enjoy it all over again, this time as a guest! :)

Just to start - Cescaphe is by far the best value for a wedding in Philadelphia. Period. Full Stop. The services they provide are above and beyond. The amount and quality of the food is mind boggling and the staff is impeccable. We can't say enough how Cescaphe made our wedding incredible. From our first few emails to our various tours of their spaces, we were impressed by Cescaphe. Everyone was extremely helpful and kind. As a customer, it was obvious that Cescaphe wanted to make sure everyone was happy, not with just Cescaphe, but their wedding as a whole. Even the owner Joe was always available to talk and go the extra mile.Working with the staff has truly been a pleasure, as we transitioned from contracts, to planning, to day of coordinator, there was never any perception of unfamiliarity, each new person was ready and up to speed with all of our needs and concerns. It is really a seamless operation. The Cescaphe family is really the ideal partner for any newly engaged couples. After our wedding, I have never heard so many compliments about a wedding. We certainly knew what was in store, but our guests were blown away. The day off staff made sure we knew everything that was happening before it happened and we were never wanting for anything. Any engaged couple we meet from this day forward will get an earful about how they would be crazy to not trust their wedding with Cescaphe.

Each person who worked with us, from the first phone call to the day of, was a true expert, easily accessible and kind. What can you say about Cescaphe that hasn’t already been said… it is hard to top the system they have in place; it runs like a well oiled machine. The planning process was so easy and being type A I would get nervous because so much was taken out of my hands. Thankfully having been to a bunch of weddings at their different venues I had no doubt in what they do. And now I am grateful for all the things I didn’t have to do. The Ballroom was the perfect place for our reception. From the food, to the atmosphere, to the service, to the way the night flows perfectly… everything was amazing! Also, the Cescaphe University events were such a fun way to celebrate our wedding leading up to the event. We loved going to each of them, eating the food and learning a different thing about the planning process.

We had our wedding at Tendenza on October 13th, 2018. We worked with Danielle Fisher initially to coordinate and plan our big day, and then Holly Mainiero to carry us over the finish line. Throughout the process, which started with reserving Tendenza in early Spring 2017, Cescaphe was always attentive to our requests for information and eager to help plan and coordinate. In the lead-up to the wedding, about six weeks out, we had a planning meeting with Holly at Tendenza where we finalized menu options, tested out different lighting combinations, and went over the flow of the night, from rehearsal to take-home treat. Holly was really amazing during the planning and coordinating process, then knocked it out of the park on the day of. Paired with our Maitre D’ Rick, who made sure we always had drinks in our hands, food on our plates, and a very quick explanation of what was about to happen, we were able to have a fantastic time eating, dancing, and seeing our guests. A hugely impressive part of the entire evening was the fact that we were able to be guests at our own wedding, and were not involved in any decision making the night of. The venue was perfect for our style, decor, and party size. We wouldn’t have changed a thing! Thanks Cescaphe Team!

I could not imagine getting married without Cescaphe. They made the entire wedding planning process seamless, fun, and exciting, and the wedding day itself was absolutely perfect. They know what they're doing and they made us feel like VIPs from the day we booked with them. Their customer service is unmatched, and every single person we worked with through them was helpful, patient, and kind. They have a venue for every type of person and I cannot recommend them enough! Many of our friends and family said that our wedding was the best they'd ever been to--between the venue, the food, the organization, the special personalized touches--and six weeks later, it's still the topic of conversation with everyone we see! They are worth every penny!
