This was an amazing venue for our wedding ceremony and reception. The staff made sure that all of our needs were met and ensured our day went smooth. Chagrin Valley Athletic Club was very accommodating and even has a great dinner menu. This venue is part of the reason our special day was as amazing as it was.

My husband and I had our wedding at Chagrin Valley Athletic Club in the summer of 2022 and we would not recommend this venue to any of our friends or family. Unfortunately, the on-site coordinator was very unhelpful and made the entire process very stressful. The lack of communication was the worst. We would go weeks waiting for a response on important decisions, calling and texting her, but we would get ignored or brushed off every time. If we did eventually get in contact with Z, she would act like we were inconveniencing and bothering her even though she would continually promise us she would get back to us herself.Due to her disorganization, we were quoted a wrongful total amount due the week of the wedding to which we had to contact the owner of the venue to sort it all out (which he thankfully did). Overall, I would not recommend the venue due to the poor organization and lack of communication. Proceed with caution, it was not worth the year and a half of ongoing headache!

My wedding day was perfect! Zrinka is on top of everything and made sure the whole day was seamless. There was a miscommunication about chairs for the ceremony and she fixed it ASAP with no charge. The food here is also the best, most of the time wedding food sucks but their food is all good. I also highly suggest the outside dance floor and bonfire. I highly suggest using them if you want a gorgeous indoor/ outdoor wedding!

We had booked them for a June 6, 2020 ceremony with reception to follow. Unfortunately the pandemic ruined our June 6th plans but CVAC worked with us to make an August 21st date for the reception. Kate is very good with helping with plans and the food was great.

Holy moly, where do I even begin? We had a PERFECT wedding at the CVAC. The venue and the staff were absolutely amazing through the entire experience. We got so many compliments on the food and how nice and accommodating the staff was. Kate deserves a special shoutout as she helped me throughout our entire planning process, which was around a year and a half. She was so incredibly helpful, laid back, and sweet. They offer a lot of their own decorations for you to use for free to help you save money, which was awesome. Their staff helped us setup and tear down and that saved us a lot of stress and time. I 100% recommend the CVAC!!!

We cannot recommend Chagrin Valley Athletic Club enough, It is truly a hidden gem! The event coordinator, Kate, goes above and beyond to provide great service and allows you to customize your day to make it yours. They have great indoor and outdoor spaces that can be used to your liking. Finally, the food is amazing! We had such a hard time picking when we went for our tasting. We definitely recommend and encourage you to take the time to go for a tour and see it in person, that is when we knew!

Wow! Kate from CVAC is absolutely wonderful. From the moment we walked into the venue and I met Kate, I had a great feeling that CVAC could be our wedding venue! She went above and beyond with helping me plan my wedding throughout the whole year! Very responsive to emails and phone calls. If I had a question she always offered great advice.Kate was there for the food tasting, rehearsal dinner, and wedding day and we couldn't have done it without her. Excellent food!! The twice baked potatoes were my favorite. We had a family style dinner which was great and the food was warm and delicious. We had several compliments about the food! Also, compliments about the bar service being great.The outdoor ceremony place is just gorgeous and the whole CVAC grounds were awesome for wedding photos. The veranda was awesome for cocktail hour and for guests to get fresh air throughout the wedding night!The only thing was the girl's getting ready area had some burnt out lights and not many electrical outlets for hair curlers but Kate found us an extension cord & outlets!My wedding day was absolutely perfect & I definitely loved this venue!! It was everything I wanted and I would highly recommend CVAC to anyone!! Thank you CVAC for a day we will cherish forever and never forget!

Chagrin Valley Athletic Club was the most amazing wedding venue my husband and I could have ever hoped for -- with regards to the venue, the staff, and the experience as a whole! Kate, our incredible wedding coordinator, truly took care of everything -- not a single detail was overlooked or unaccounted for. She was always available if I had questions throughout our year-long wedding planning process, and she responded super quickly no matter what we needed to discuss. The food was unbelievable -- our guests still can't stop talking about it -- and the bartenders were both quick and friendly. The grounds are gorgeous (simply perfect for our June wedding) -- lush with greenery and flowers and all the intricate details of a garden oasis. We also had our rehearsal dinner there, which was beyond perfect! Virtually every aspect of the wedding was able to be customized, making it such a wonderfully \"personalized\" day (which I believe every wedding should be for the couple). We all know wedding planning can be stressful, but Kate made our lives as close to stress-free as was humanly possible! I honestly cannot say enough good things about CVAC, and most especially about Kate. Our wedding was truly a dream thanks to her and her team. I would not hesitate to recommend CVAC to anyone looking to host a wedding, or any other event for that matter!

Absolutely fantastic venue. You get a very large space - a family-style room, the reception hall, a patio, gardens, two dressing rooms. The price is very reasonable. You don't need to be a club member to rent the space.The staff I dealt with when planning - Jane and Kate - were lovely, very helpful, and replied quickly to any questions I had. The customer service was one of the reasons I chose CVAC, and I wasn't disappointed.

Our July 2016 wedding at CVAC was beautiful! Jane is very easy to work with, attentive, and has an eye for detail. Dealing with a new staff member while organizing the rehearsal dinner was challenging, but Jane stepped in to make sure our wedding went on without a hitch, (which it did!). I would reccommend this venue to anyone looking to book a wedding in the Cleveland / Chagrin Falls area.

Chagrin Valley Athletic Club allowed me to have my absolute dream wedding on June 24,2016. My husband and I loved the indoor-outdoor aspects of the venue. We had a beautiful outdoor garden ceremony, cocktail hour indoors in a comfy living room setting or outside overlooking the lake on the balcony area called the verandah (both allowed to us! so guests mingled nicely), a formal sit-down dinner inside the dining room, and dancing on the deck overlooking the lake outside. I have the most amazing pictures because of the many areas allotted with booking a wedding with them. Every area and room is absolutely beautiful. And that is only attesting to appearance. Behind the scenes, we received the most amazing customer service from start to finish. Jane, the wedding coordinator allowed us to book a wedding with them that fit perfectly to our vision and our budget. She was extremely available through email. The staff took care of even the littlest details and were a \"Bride's dream\" to work with. We also decided to have only vegetarian food served at our wedding as my husband and I are long-time vegetarians. We thought this would be met with resistance with our guests, however, the food was so good at CVAC, that is all anyone noticed! In fact, we still get compliments on how great it tasted, and only now, a month later are people noticing that no meat was served!!I have over and over been told how much fun every guest had, and most frequently I hear that this was the \"best wedding venue\" they have ever been to. I would strongly agree with this! CVAC allows you to use so much of their beautiful property and it is such a fun and awesome contrast to the traditional dark 1-room reception hall. I have nothing but compliments for the service and experience I received at CVAC! It truly was an all-inclusive experience working with them!!

CVAC was the perfect venue for my wedding. The outdoor ceremony space is amazing, and Jane in Sales was very supportive and one of the nicest people that I worked with in all of our wedding planning. The food was FANTASTIC (honestly was my one of my must haves for our wedding), and they fit really well with our budget. The wedding planner I worked with for the majority of the time, Kate, was beyond amazing, however she has moved on to another job so there are some pretty big shoes to fill. My only negative comments are that some of the spaces are outdated, and the bathroom in one of the dressing rooms didn't work, however, having our own personal space for both the bride and groom to get ready outweighed the dated space. Also, I was disappointed when Kate left, and the management didn't inform me (she left the week of my wedding). These things are so small in the overall scheme of things, and I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone who's looking for a great venue with beautiful views, and excellent staff.

My wife and I decided to have both the ceremony and the reception at CVAC, and it was the easiest of decisions! We wanted a summer wedding and a natural environment for our ceremony decorations. The gardens at CVAC are so gorgeous and they made the ceremony absolutely stunning! \r\rThe reception hall is a great size and the food is amazing! My wife has Celiac's disease at it runs in her family so we wanted to make sure that everyone would be able to eat anything that was served. CVAC went through the process of ensuring nothing was cooked with gluten and there was no additional cost! Not one guest knew that the bread, the pasta, the crackers, etc. were gluten free!\r\rThe staff at CVAC are awesome and they make the big day so special yet easy to plan. There are dressing rooms for the bride and groom and their wedding party, which made our experience very unique.\r\rOverall, the grounds are beautiful, the food is delicious, and the staff is very helpful and wonderful to work with. The price can't be beat for what you are receiving in service and quality.

I found this venue on my search on The Knot, and figured I would give it a shot since it was one of the few places that had an outdoor area for the ceremony.\r\rWhen we actually went to visit, the events coordinator showed us around and made it very clear that they were willing to work with our limited budget, and they truly pulled through.\r\rThe food was excellent, everyone we talked too really enjoyed it and they worked with the DJ to make the day as smooth as possible.\r\rThey were easy to contact and get a hold of with our many questions and did their best to explain the contract so we knew exactly what we were getting into.\r\rCould not have chosen a better venue for my ceremony and reception.

I think everyone who goes to Chagrin Valley Athletic Club to get married has a great experience....I did. I had an intimate fall wedding here everything from the space to the food was perfect. The best part to me was the knowledgeable and friendly staff stemming from the Event Planner Clay. With Clay's years of experience and confidence I knew that my wedding would be nothing but perfect. I suggest this venue for the bride who wants an all in one venue with great food and beautiful ambiance at a great price. Love this place!!!

I think everyone who goes to Chagrin Valley Athletic Club to get married has a great experience....I did. I had an intimate fall wedding here everything from the space to the food was perfect. The best part to me was the knowledgeable and friendly staff stemming from the Event Planner Clay. With Clay's years of experience and confidence I knew that my wedding would be nothing but perfect. I suggest this venue for the bride who wants an all in one venue with great food and beautiful ambiance at a great price. Love this place!!!

This is a very nice venue for a small wedding. The onsite coordinator was very helpful and it was very easy to set up appointments to meet with him. The food is excellent, much better than I expected. There are many choices from the menu. Moreover, the chef can accomodate special dietary needs, such as gluten free. My guests with special diets were quite impressed with choices and the chef's understanding of their needs. Definitely a good value withou compromising on quality.
