The Chapel of the Archangels in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin is a hidden gem. The Chapel is beautiful and offered us many great photo opportunities. It was the perfect size for our wedding of 120 and it could have held more. Our guests loved the stain glass windows and the intimate feel of the grounds. My husband and I loved that our reception was in the same place as our ceremony making travel a little less stressful for everyone. The Reception area has it's own bar, which was extremely convenient and a kitchen space which our caterer's definitely enjoyed having. The proprietors Jim and Jimmie were very knowledgeable and professional throughout. Jim and Jimmie put in so much work behind the scenes, setting up, cleaning, and maintaining the grounds and buildings. I was so happy to be able to connect with both of them the morning after. We stayed at the bed and breakfast hosted by Jim and Jimmie which is located just feet from the Chapel. Having all these amenities in one place really made our choice an easy one. It was comforting to know that the weather would not play a significant role on our wedding day, and it did rain, but we had plenty of space inside for our guests to eat, drink, and dance. It really was a great experience and the best part was leaving with new friendships. We absolutely plan to go back to the bed and breakfast for an anniversary down the road. Our breakfast was delicious and having Jim and Jimmie to converse with was both insightful and relaxing. My husband and I could not have predicted such a perfect day, but it was, and for that we have Jim and Jimmie to thank. THANK YOU so much, for everything!

The chapel itself is worth falling in love with. From the moment we stepped inside the chapel we knew we wanted our special day to take place there. It is absolutely breath taking with the the stained glass windows and all of the original details of the church. Jim and Jimmy the owners are absolutely wonderful, they made sure our day was above and beyond. All of our vendors were in aw as well with the beauty and the convenience of Chapel of the Archangels and said they would be recommending in the future as well.

Chapel of Archangels was exactly what we wanted. Jim and Jimmy were very easy to work with. They were flexible with our schedule and accommodated all our needs. The hall is tastefully decorated and they were more than willing to change anything we needed.\rOur wedding dance went smoothly and everyone had a great time.\rI definitely recommend Chapel of Archangels for anyone looking to have their wedding day to go smoothly and to have a great time.

I loved everything about Chapel of the Archangles and our experience. We used this venue for both the ceremony and reception and it fit our needs perfectly. \r\rThe chapel is so beautiful that we only needed minimal decortations for the ceremony. The stain glass and beautiful architecture gave the wedding a traditional \"big church\" feel without the churchy wedding. The chapel also had all the audio equiptment we needed for our ceremony meaning we did not have to rent or bring anything in. \r\rThe reception hall was spacious and had all the furniture and linens we needed for the day. We were able to get into the space the day before to decorate which allowed us to take our time, get it right and have all morning of the wedding to just enjoy the day. \r\rBy far the best part of this venue was the owners and how much work they put in to make our day special. Jim and Jimmie are such fantasic people who really were dedicated to making the process easy and enjoyable. We were always able to get in contact with them quickly to get questions answered as we were planing the day. They made sure we had what we needed and went out of their way to ensure things were taken care of before we even realized there was an issue. They even worked to find a hotel room and cab for a guest that indulged too much to make sure they were safe and we were not disturbed by the situation. The owners also have amazing relationships with vendors in the area. They were able to give us great reccomendations and since they had worked together frequently the communication and cooridation between all our vendors was incredibly easy.\r\rFinally, I was so impressed with the value of this venue. We were able to have so much time for set up and tear down, all of our needs covered and the cost was so resonable! Because of their affordability we didn't have to sacrifice anything that we wanted for our day.

A sweet same sex couple from California moved to Beaver Dam of all places and bought this GORGEOUS old Catholic church. The chapel itself is amazing, as is the versatility of the basement reception space. The Jims (Jim and Jimmie) are incredibly sweet and very helpful, even going so far as to help arrange my train before I walked down the aisle. It was great to have them around, especially as I had no idea what I was doing haha. Jim is a bartender and his services are included in the price, though alcohol and soda are extra. You'll have stunning pictures in front of this beautiful brick church, and some really talented guys helping you out.
