Welcome to CYC Events at Charlevoix Yacht Club on the shores of Lake Charlevoix. We offer a stunning lakeside that includes unparalleled views of Lake Charlevoix. Our space is available to the public for rent, you do not have to be a member. The space available encompasses the lower level of the building which provides expansive views of the yacht basin with a covered porch and side lawn. Charie was absolutely amazing to work with and brought all of our wedding day dreams to life! We had the most amazing wedding at the Yacht Club and would 100% recommend this venue for your wedding, it is absolutely picture perfect. This space has a stunning patio that we actually placed our head table on which over looks the marina. Charie was so helpful to ensure that all of the logistics went as we had planned and was great at ensuring that we were thinking of all the critical questions leading up to our wedding day. We also hired her for set-up and tear down and would highly recommend that to anyone who was interested. She did a great job and ensured that all of the items that we had brought were set aside for us to pick up from the venue. I can't imagine having our wedding any other place and Charie definitely made everything go so seamlessly. Highly recommend!!

We got married at Charlevoix Yacht Club in October 2022. Charie took outstanding care of everything that we asked and required. We received numerous compliments on how beautiful the venue was! Truthfully, the venue and setting is so perfect, you really do not need to spend a ton of other decor. The venue itself will take care of the beauty, especially with the outdoor patio! We cannot highly recommend Charlevoix Yacht Club enough. Not only for the beauty, but for it's value too when you compare it to other options in the area! This was the best decision that we made for our wedding!

We had the best wedding day and it would not have been possible without Charie!Our experience working with the CYC Event Center was incredible. We couldn’t ask for a better venue to celebrate at with all of our friends and family. Charie was so helpful leading up to and the day of our wedding. She helped us come up with a floor plan that fit all our tables without having any tables on the dance floor, even though we were pushing our capacity. The porch was perfect for our cocktail hour, bar, and photo booth. The heaters kept everyone warm in the porch, even on our late October evening wedding.

The Charlevoix Yacht Club offers a stunningly unique space for weddings. The accommodations are modern elegant and doesn’t require much decoration - the space itself is enough. The view is unlike anything you’ve seen before, as it fully encompasses the beauty of Northern Michigan, at any time of year. I used the yacht club for my wedding in September and it couldn’t have been a better venue - the weather was perfect, the view was stunning, and our guests couldn’t stop taking pictures. Thank you Charie, for making our day special!

Meet the Charlevoix Yacht Club Events Team
Charie Metevia (Events Director) I am excited to share and host your event at our beautiful brand new event venue! I love my chocolate Lab Miss Charlie Brown! We can be found on nature preserve trails, out playing in snow or water. I race sailboats in the summer. I was born and raised in Leelanau County, MI and have lived in Charlevoix for over 20 years. In my prior work life, I ran a bank as a Vice President in Human Resources, etc. for 23 years. I brought with me established business connections, excellent customer service and a desire to be a part of your celebration!
