5 stars is not nearly enough. This venue was incredible. The Grand Ballroom is simply magnificent with the crystal chandeliers, floor to ceiling windows, iron clad balcony, and extra large dance floor. Megan Shine was fabulous with coordinating all of our vendors, our wedding planner/coordinator and keeping the entire night moving smoothly. A very entertaining and lively band, martini bar with double ice luge, live artist, florist, 2 full service bars, guest party favors, fireworks. She managed it all! The food was amazing with passed hors d’ouevres, 2 carving stations, buffet stations, and late night snacks. The service was over the top, and I cannot think of a single thing I would change. Megan’s calm demeanor made the entire planning process so easy. I don’t think “no” is in her vocabulary! Run, don’t walk, to book Chateau Golf & Country Club.

They were so great to work with. I loved working with Megan and Amanda. They has such great suggestions for things such as using Bubble Guns for our exit, and which foods are best to pick for the day. We chose to not have a beforehand snacks with the rest of our wedding party and Amanda and Megan surprised us with a private dinner. They dimmed the lights, sat us by the pool, and had soft jazz music in the background. Loved the surprise. Anything that came up in the planning they were so fast to respond and help me with any issues. I needed a new florist last minute and they were fast to help me find a great one. Loved the set of the ballroom that night. They were the ones that helped set up everything from the decorations to the favors to helping the florist set up the sign in table. They went above and beyond and I didn't need to worry about anything with them. Would use them for other events as well. They were so very accommodating.

Chateau was everything my husband and I could ever dream of for our wedding! Amanda and her team were beyond helpful and accommodating. The food, the set up, everything was more than we could have ever dreamt of! We decided to move our wedding here in November of 2020 due to COVID, and it was the best decision we could have made! I ask myself all the time if I could relive the greatest night of my life! Chateau was the best decision I could have ever done. The professionalism the Events Coordinator Amanda had from start to finish was 10 out of 10!! I booked Chateau two years out, and I know I emailed/called Amanda on a weekly basis! She was never bothered by me once and was always so ready to help! I also want to mention the food! The reception was overflowing with food! My guests said it did not stop and how satisfied they were. Thank you to Amanda and the entire Chateau family! You made me one happy bride!

PLEASE PLEASE reconsider if you’re thinking about booking your wedding here. The Banquets coordinator, Amanda is awful. She quotes you one price per guest, and then gets you to put down a $1,000 deposit, and then after sends you a contract with a completely different amount then what she quoted originally, and then tells you she “quoted you the wrong amount” and you now have to go with the higher price. Such a waist of money I could not get back that could’ve gone towards my wedding elsewhere. What kind of a business does this. I should’ve taken it as a sign when she 15 late to our initial appointment!

Chateau was amazing from start to finish. Their wedding coordinator, Amanda, made sure we were well-informed and taken care of throughout the planning process. When it came to wedding day, Amanda and her team were there to make sure the wedding was perfect. Attendants were never far away and always waiting with a drink for us. The food was delicious and a great representation of traditional New Orleans/Southern cuisine. Our guests could not stop complimenting the space. We danced the night away and had an amazing time. Chateau went the extra mile to ensure our guest book, photos, gifts, cake, food, etc. was all packed away in our car at the end of the night. I have no complaints... I only wish we could have stayed all night! Thanks Chateau for a beautiful evening.

Amanda said all the right things and I knew that what they offered fit exactly what we were looking for. I cannot speak highly enough of Chateau as a venue! So much included for such a great price! The food was amazing. Amanda was very helpful as a coordinator. The attendants throughout the night made sure we had nothing to worry about and our drinks were always full. All of my requests were honored. My only complaint is that they only allow you to add on an additional half hour and I would have loved to do a full hour! We still had the best night of our lives !

Amanda was the wedding coordinator and for the year and a half we planned she was ALWAYS available and answered all my emails right away! We planned on getting married outside under the gazebo but the weather outside decided differently and we had to get married inside. They set it up beautifully and I was very pleased! We recieved so many compliments on the food and overall venue! I would def recommend to anyone looking. The prices are also awesome for everything you get, ( food, open bar, cake knife set, monogrammed napkins!) great experience! Thanks guys for everything!!!

They did everything and anything to accommodate us on our wedding day, even when we had to move our wedding up in time the day before due to the weather. An added plus was the amazing food options!! They did everything and anything to accommodate us on our wedding day, even when we had to move our wedding up in time the day before due to the weather. An added plus was the amazing food options!! The attendants were great, we did not have to leave the dance floor once they had everything we needed! If I could redo everything all over again, I wouldn't change a thing I loved Chataeu!

My wedding was there on 01-27-2018. The atmosphere was amazing. Everyone had a wonderful time and the food and service was awesome. It was worth the time and effort. It would not have been as amazing if it wasn’t for Ms. Amanda, the DJ, Mr. Marcel, our photo booth coordinator, Mr. Craig. Our attendent was there every step of the way. We purchased uplighting and it gave the room a different feel. Our parents received servings of the cake and food to take home. We did as well, and it was great to get to enjoy the food after our wedding. So happy and thankful for everything! ❤️ We are one happy couple!

I cannot express enough how wonderful this place is. When I booked my tour at Chateau, I thought it was going to be another generic wedding hall... and boy was I wrong. I walked out of there with my mom and friend absolutely in love! Amanda, who is in charge of events, showed us around. She has such a bright, fun personality and answered every question we had. She showed us the space for the Grand Ballroom and that chandelier... wow! Booking and planning out everything was a breeze too. We had our tasting the day of Hurricane Nate and Amanda, who I'm sure was overloaded with tons of people shifting around things for the wedding that day, was able to take the time out to call us and give us a new time for that day. I know I would have been panicking! I even took my bridals here and the venue is such a beautiful space! I was able to take pictures in the front, on the course, and in the gazebo in the back. And for the wedding night- it was a dream! We could bring in our centerpieces early so my friends were able to show up and put everything out. And since they include a cake credit, the bakery is able to deliver a cake to them no problem. When we arrived at the venue Amanda and her assistant Emma were waiting for me right at the front door. They led me to a room with food and drinks for the bridal party and us. There, we met Wilma who was our attendant. After we took some pictures, we had a mini dress crisis. Emma was able to get some pins and we were all able to fix it in no time flat! Again, so cool under pressure. The whole reception was a blur, but Wilma kept me fed, hydrated, and on time the whole night. At the end, they boxed and bagged all the food and cake and put labels on everything, it was so organized! It was really an incredible party, and the venue really made it! I've gotten so many compliments from our family and friends. I really recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a venue.

My wife and I were married in the outdoor space of Chateau Golf and Country Club on October 1, 2016, and quite frankly it was one of the most magical experiences of our lives. First, because I am married to the most magnificent woman on the planet, but secondly (and more related to this review) because of the way Chateau treated us. There honestly aren't enough stars to give to them. It's a gorgeous venue (delicate lights, beautiful greens, and a wonderful walk down the aisle, the option to be outside in the quiet of the night or inside with the raucous dancing and energy). They were able to accommodate our entire wedding attendance. Every butt had a seat both during the ceremony and at the reception (though we did have a count of 150 so bear that in mind for the outdoor seating). The space for the ceremony didn't feel too cramped, and the gazebo was private enough that I personally didn't feel the crowd watching. It felt private with just the right amount of gravitas to say: this is it. Because we had a smaller attendance, we went with the smaller room, which wasn't small at all: a spacious dance floor, endless food (seriously) and endless drinks (yeah, too good to be true right? Nope. I'm serious). Instead of having to go through all sorts of venues, Chateau helped us have options while keeping everything on one singular charge, which was easier to track.But the icing on top of the cake, and the very reason you need to go through with this and choose this venue, is the people who work there. When my wife and I first signed our contract, we had Elle helping us coordinate everything, and she was incredible. Sadly about a month in, she decided to move on to other adventures and Amanda helped us with every single question and concern up until the time our reception was over and the cops were kicking us out. But it's not just Amanda, who is a calming force of nature who gets things done like magic. It's the staff there, the servers, and especially the aids. They took care of my wife and myself, getting us where we needed to be and when. The attendant who was with me right up to the ceremony tried to make me laugh off my nerves from the people and then got me tissues for when she could tell I was about to cry tears of joy and being just so full of emotion over the day finally getting here. After the ceremony they continued to take care of us. During the reception, they kept tabs on us and made sure our parents weren't want of a thing. They were exceptional. Polite, considerate, and they could tell when they were needed without a thing needing to be said. And I can't say enough about the ladies who went the extra mile to ensure that we had everything organized by the end of the night, making packing a breeze. From beginning to end, it Amanda and the people of Chateau had us well taken care of. My wife and I are forever grateful to them and all of their hard work. Because, if you couldn't already tell, I am a fairly largely worded human being. I ask a lot of questions at the same time, and seriously no question was brushed aside and every question was answered. If you're on the fence: do it. You won't regret it.

Planning an out of state wedding presented some challenges but Amanda was very thorough, detailed, and quick with her replies to my many emails. The venue is stunning! It's a gorgeous venue! As soon as I did the first walk through, I knew this was the place to have our reception at. They venue itself made for gorgeous scenery for our photos and video. Not to mention, their price includes a fully stocked bar and a delicious menu that you can pick and choose from! The coordinator made sure to make time for me whenever I had a question or wanted to drop in for something. And the staff was on hand for any drink spills that needed to cleaned up or if someone wanted some more food. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a New Orleans style wedding but at a great price!

We had our ceremony outside at the gazebo. Omg it was picture perfect. Bella blooms decorated our gazebo to add a little touch to it. Our reception was phenomal. Beautiful! But honestly the best part about booking at Chateau is Amanda. She has a heart of gold, and she always has a smile on her face. Everyone needs an Amanda for their wedding. She's made sure I had all my I's dotted and my y'all crossed. I was able to bring a few decorations like pictures, sign in book, flip flops for guests, koozies, and signs in a few days before the wedding. She made sure they were put out and they picked them up after the wedding. She made sure there was assigned friends or family to take care of things like- who will bring my dress home-who will bring our cake topper homeShe even was able to store our Jell-O shots in the cooler and they put them in the party bus for us!!!And the attendants, no way I could have done without them. They were so helpful in making sure all the small things like the girls bags to touch up to flowers and what not were held or picked up. They busselled my dress and made sure me, the groom and both our parents were taken care of all night with drinks and food. WOW! I am still amazed at how beautiful and seamless my wedding at Chateau was on April 1! I cannot say enough good things about how exquisite the Grand Ballroom is, the service, the food, and working with Amanda who is a true pro and handles all requests with ease! The dance floor is bigger than most other venues' dance floors, and that was a good thing for me, because it was PACKED! Ample room for a large stage-- I had a 10-piece band. My attendant was fabulous and always right there with a new glass of champagne for me. Truly a beautiful, simple, experience working with Chateau. I would recommend this venue to anyone!

I am so happy that we chose to have our wedding at Chateau! The venue is beautiful and the staff was a pleasure to work with. Amanda (the wedding coordinator) made everything so easy and stress free. Chateau takes care of everything and makes sure that the bride and groom feel special. They even have attendants for the bride and groom and their parents. Our attendant Evelyn was amazing! She took care of us all night and we never had an empty drink. Chateau is very inclusive in that you don't have to do much else for your reception. The cost per head included the venue, the food, the drinks, as well as a cake credit for the wedding cake and grooms cake! It took a lot of the stress off of us and allowed us to enjoy the wedding planning much more. I couldn't have imagined our wedding anywhere else! Chateau is the best there is!

Phenomenal!!Chateau was the absolute best decision that we made during our wedding planning process. Every step flowed seamlessly from the moment we booked a walked-through to the moment they loaded the last gift into our car after the reception. They take care of every little detail, we didn't have to worry about a thing. The place is beautiful, the staff is attentive and professional and the food and drinks were to die for! Everyone who attended our event was blown away with the elegance, food and service. Amanda was phenomenal and our personal wait staff was phenomenal. If I got to redo my entire wedding, I would still choose Chateau! We had a blast!

I can't imagine having a better reception than the one I had at Chateau. The set up and ballroom was beautiful, the staff & attendees were wonderful, and we had so many compliments from our guests! The guest favorite was by far the food - you had such great, authentic New Orleans food and had so many selections to choose from. Your money goes a long way with Chateau and everything was top-quality. I can't think of a single thing that I would change. Thank you Chateau for making my wedding night unforgettable!

I can't imagine having a better reception than the one I had at Chateau. The set up and ballroom was beautiful, the staff & attendees were wonderful, and we had so many compliments from our guests! She had me completely at ease with her fun loving personality. Chateau's food was simply incredible, I have gotten so many compliments on delicious everything was! I can't say enough good things about Chateau. The space is beautiful and the food is soo good! We got so many compliments on the food. You also get a lot for what you pay for. Despite bad weather leading up to the ceremony, I wasn't stressed because I knew we were in such good hands. I'd recommend Chateau to anyone :)

Chateau is going to give you the most bang for your buck.. Both ballrooms are beautiful and staff is helpful and attentive. However, my reason for not giving five stars is because Chateau broke a center piece I rented and claims they did not. I know it must have been someone on their end because the center piece was in tact when I dropped it off to them. I then had to pay for this center piece as they refused to do so. Also Gambinos did our cakes and they dropped off the cakes and the ring pull cards. Chateau never put them out with our cakes and simply \"misplaced\" them. As I paid for these it upset me that my girls weren't able to get them with their ring pulls.

From day one, planning with Chateau was extremely easy. They took care of everything. I initially booked here because I had been to several other weddings here and they were all beautiful. While looking around, it was also one of the better deals financially around the New Orleans area. Elle was very friendly and easy to work with. The food was outstanding! The attendants made sure that we always had drinks in our hands and that we were always where we needed to be. The wedding was perfect, and many of my guests raved about Chateau!!

I could not have been more pleased with this venue!\r\rThey offered A LOT for the price, gave us outstanding service, were flexible with us on number of guests, and even offered some advice on vendors such as DJ and photography. \r\rMy wedding was almost 6 months ago, and I am STILL getting compliments on how great the food was and how pretty the venue was. My wedding was during the day, and the view out of all the windows in the large ballroom was fantastic -- the golf course on one side, the pool on the other. You can't fully appreciate that view at night! And the options that they offer for open bar, included in the price, are amazing. They were priced much better than any of the venues in New Orleans; all the others I looked at didn't include the open bar and didn't offer all the food choices that Chateau did. I originally planned to choose a venue in uptown New Orleans, but after seeing how much more I could get for less cost at Chateau, I went with Chateau. And I'm so glad I did! \r\rThe service on my wedding day far exceeded my expectations. My groom and I were totally taken care of, and our parents also received excellent treatment. You cannot do better pricewise for everything that was included in our reception package. We had our reception in the Grand Ballroom and it was beautiful! Everyone raved about the food we had and said it was the best food they have ever had at any wedding! The best part of the night was that we (bride and groom) and both sets of our parents had our own personal attendant who made sure our drinks were full ALL NIGHT! which was FABULOUS! Definitely would chose Chateau again and again if I had to. They take care of everything and coordinate with all of your vendors for you. You will not have to worry about anything because it will all be taken care of!

We recently had our reception at Chateau, everything was amazing! It looked beautiful. The personal attendant keep everything on track! Its mostly all inclusive, which is soooo nice. You don't have to spend ridiculous money on centerpieces that you will never use again or any of that!! Price per head includes: food, alcohol, centerpieces, guest book, cake knife, monogramed toasting glasses, wedding cake and grooms cake credit at 3 different bakeries, attendants for newlyweds and their parents, etc. Its very nice to not have to worry about all of these other things!! The only thing that I was unhappy with is that our coordinator never knew our names at any of our meetings. I understand that there are tons of couples but just look at the file before you come downstairs to greet your couples!!

Not only were the staff a pleasure to work with, but I absolutely loved the Outdoor Ceremony area and Grand Ballroom. All of my guest either from New Orleans or across the US raved about the food and just loved the ballroom space.

From start to finish, my experience at Chateau Country Club was wonderful! The staff were so helpful and accommodating! I have a pretty severe nut allergy and they made sure I had nothing to worry about in that department on my special day. The chef even called me to check on some of the ingredients he planned to use! The room was absolutely gorgeous, and everyone had a place to sit and plenty of room to dance. The food was EXCELLENT (even though I was so excited I could hardly eat!) and when we made my final booking, they even threw in a few extra food items. Our attendants were great and helped us get everything we need. I highly recommend! Thank you Chateau!!

When my husband and I got enagaged, we knew we wanted a wedding outside of New Orleans. Chateau was the only place we looked and we fell in love. The staff is amazing and friendly. They took care of everything the day of the reception so my husband and I worried about nothing. The food was fantastic and the candy bar was so much fun. I recommend that everyone get married at Chateau! It is beautiful!

It was beautiful and very spacious. Everyone loved the food. The attendants were fantastic and we loved every minute. We would definitely recommend Chateau to anyone looking for a venue.

Everything was great at Chateau. I didn't have to do too much except for the picking the food and tellign my vendors where to go, and they took care of everthing else. I had over 400 guests and everything flowed perfectly.

I went with Chateau because they were one of the best deals around. My wedding day was everything and more. The service was amazing and everyone raved about the food. There was plenty of delicious food with a good variety to choose from. They were very easy to work with. They even included little extras that I did not ask for.
