Our Mission is to connect people with Nature. Chattahoochee Nature Center is a wedding venue nestled in Roswell, GA. This location allows happy couples and their loved ones to bask in the natural beauty it has to offer. Located near the Chattahoochee River, you will be welcome to exchange your vows among the live flora and fauna the location has to offer. Nestled on 127 acres of land, The Chattahoochee Nature Center (CNC) serves as a private, environmental education facility for both locals and new visitors. From maintaining the grounds to rehabilitating animals, the dedicated staff strive to make the location one to remember. A number of their event spaces are designed with romantic celebrations in mind, ideal for soon-to-be-weds to enjoy their important moments in a picturesque setting. You will have three ceremony sites to choose from: the Meadow, the Green Roof, or the Ben Brady Lakeside Pavilion. These spaces can be combined for your special day, to accommodate up to 200 of your guests. For more intimate ceremonies, the Green Roof will give you scenic views of the grounds and river, with natural-wood safety barriers for a rustic touch. After you leave the altar, you can enjoy the lush lawns and gardens in the Meadow, a visually rich setting for cocktails or photo sessions. The Pavilion provides both covered and uncovered open-air space, with elegant drapery and a gas fireplace to keep you and your guests comfortable. Throughout the location, you and your guests will be free to dance underneath romantic string lights and the glow of the stars. In addition, you will have access to the spacious dressing suite, allowing you and your entourage to prepare in style. The team behind CNC will be ready to connect you with their preferred vendors, including farm-to-table caterers for a fresh, mouth-watering reception dinner menu.

CNC was everything we hoped for for our reception venue. Our April wedding was perfect for an outdoor space, but we knew we wanted some coverage. The Ben Brady Lakeside Pavilion provided the perfect space for our reception of 135. Caroline and Fabiola kept us informed throughout the process. At the start we didn't receive much response because it was a busy season for them, but we showed up and they were very accommodating to give us a tour on the spot and we were sold. We were so happy to have space for corn hole, a food truck, and lots of dancing. We elected to rent a tent to cover the open portion of the pavilion covered which was great when it started raining in the last 2 hours of the reception. CNC was really a great space and we are so grateful for the team that helped to make sure our event ran smoothly.

The venue itself is beautiful and well maintained. Most of the staff is very helpful and kind. We had some frustrating experiences with our venue coordinator(s) — our coordinator was switched twice, including the week of the wedding. Information was not transferred between the coordinators and we were told different things from each person. The venue amenities for the bridal party were a little lacking. From what I understand, it is pretty customary that a venue provide water to the bridal party and photographers during the photoshoot/waiting time for the reception. We were told there was no water or we would be charged for it. That was a small issue but kind of illustrates the experience we had overall. We also learned during the wedding that there was also a rule about having to be packed and out of the bridal suite at 9 pm even though the wedding ended at 11 pm, which meant people had to come clean and pack up the entire suite in the middle of the reception and then our personal items were left outside until the wedding was over (this was a personal choice, because the alternative was having to have someone bring a car around and pack the car, which obviously took time away from the reception). The venue staff also got in the buffet line for food at the wedding, which would not normally be a problem, but we were not consulted about it. If we knew, we would’ve included them in our count to the caterer. Overall, although it was beautiful, there were a few of these hiccups that made us stressed. I think a lot of the issues we had could be resolved or avoided in the future if coordinators weren’t switched, and if some of the rules were changed.

Between the meadow, the pavilion, the gardens, the lake, and the walking paths there aren't many venues that can compete with the CNC for sheer natural beauty. The staff was phenomenal, very communicative and helpful throughout. The CNC staff worked extremely well with all of the vendors to make things seamless and easy the day of the wedding. We felt well taken care of start-to-finish, especially considering we had to postpone our date twice due to the pandemic. We have zero reservations in recommending the CNC to anyone who is considering them as their wedding venue. Thank you so much to everyone at the CNC (especially Fabiola and Caroline) who made our day the absolute best - it exceeded every expectation we had!

Working with the team at the Chattahoochee Nature Center was a great experience. Throughout the planning process both my husband and I were traveling for work, and there was also some transition on the CNC side, however we all made it work and the day was executed just as we had imagined. We loved that our guests could walk around the grounds, visit the aviaries, and also enjoy games that the nature center provided for us to use in one of the field areas. They had many options for customizing the event and a preferred vendor list which made choosing our vendors even easier. My husband and I can't wait to go back for some of their on-site events and think back to our perfect day.

This summer we had our high school at the Lakeside Pavilion. It was a blast. Everyone loved it and the Nature Center. Planning for our event started back in the winter and the CNC staff was great (and fun) in helping us from day one until the end. Would we do it again at the CNC? YES! Thanks Mark

Andrea and her fellow staff, including operations, were very patient and accommodating while helping me plan my last minute picnic/bridging ceremony for my Brownie troop. They were in constant communication about the pavilion rental and if it would be possible on such short notice. I had a badge program reservation scheduled for my troop after the picnic and Andrea and staff told me who our guide would be beforehand. Vonda and Sean checked on us periodically throughout our time at the pavilion and were very helpful and attentive. I really appreciate their patience and diligence to get the pavilion rental done. I would definitely recommend an event being held at the Chattahoochee Nature Center!

We had a Celebration of Life event on June 23. The facility was wonderful. There was almost 4,000 square feet of open air space overlooking the lake. The staff was very, very helpful. Everything was set up perfectly. Everyone commented on the site being an ideal choice.

An absolutely magical venue for a perfect evening. We always wanted to get married out west in a national park, but this place made it feel 'ok' to do it here at home in Atlanta. The energy and vibe were perfect. Staff was incredible, and they really went out of their way to make us feel comfortable with everything we had personally happening in our lives. Couldn't recommend this venue enough, made for a perfect magical day.

First, Andrea the site and events coordinator was our point of contact from our first day touring the nature center to the day of our wedding and reception. She was not only knowledgeable about what the beautiful Nature Center had to offer to make our special day memorable, but she was invaluable in helping us ensure our special day went according to plan. She was patient, available for questions and provided helpful planning recommendations when needed which helped reduce a lot of the stress and anxiety that comes with wedding and reception planning. We rented the Ben Brady Pavilion at the Chattahoochee Nature Center for our son's 1st birthday party and it was so lovely. We have a large family and was able to accommodate all 50 guests with plenty of room to social distance. Andrea was amazing! She and her husband helped is set up and clean up during the event. She was very quick to answer any questions we had before the day of the event. They spent time disinfecting each table and chair for us as they were setting up for the event. There was a small kitchen with a refrigerator and ice machine available to us for use which was very helpful. Lastly, the pavilion was beautiful. We did not need much decorations as the scenery, lighting, and drapes were enough to beautify the venue.

Due to Covid we were looking for an outdoor event. Lucky for us that we discovered Chattahoochee Nature Center as the venue for our daughter's wedding. We spent countless hours in planning the event and by visiting the CNC many times. Every time there was need to visit the CNC I would call Andrea and she was always happy to show us the place and give her suggestions. One thing truly stands out was that Andrea was always very honest in giving her opinion and that helped us a lot. CNC is just an awesome place. The staff was great and we would love to use this place in future for any other occasion. I recommend this place and especially Andrea very highly with the positive attitude she worked with us throughout the whole process.

The Nature Center is a gorgeous place to hold any event. I will be holding my son's 16th/17th birthday party (COVID pushed things out a year) and I cannot wait for it to come. The space is open and with nature, which is great because people will not be on top of each other if we were inside a building. I love that we are close to nature and having that background for a party is greate.Andrea, the coordinator, was AWESOME. When I met her for the first time, I knew that we were going to hold the even there. She has been with me with whole step of the way. She provided great suggestions kept in constant communication when COVID hit and things were turned upside down. She is very friendly and easy to talk to. She genuinely cared that my son's event would be the best it could be. I will be booking more events at the Nature Center.It is not just the events, but the center has a lot of offer families and to get to know nature. They have live animals to see and learn about. They offer an array of activities that everyone in the family will enjoy.

The Georgia River Network held an awards Ceremony at the Chattahoochee Nature Center for the Georgia Water Coalition's Clean 13 Award to Fulton County for their resolution to ban single use plastics. The event was held during the COVID19 Pandemic and social distancing and masks were required, but the event was memorable because the venue was so perfect. We had over 15 guests and press attending including elected officials and county staff members. It was a great success thanks to the efforts of the CNC team!

We knew that the CNC was the perfect place for our wedding , the first time we visited! Tucked back in over hundred acres of nature, the pavilion and ceremony site is breathtaking. Even during these unprecedented times of COVID, our event coordinator, Andrea, has been extremely responsive and proactive. I feel for those who have had to reschedule their weddings due to the pandemic, but if you're looking for a new venue -- the CNC should be first on your list. An absolutely wonderful experience thus far.

We were married here Sept. 1st and everything was beautiful! Even with a few hiccups the staff worked together and moved quickly making everything run smoothly. We booked the venue over a year ago as soon as we toured it and Vonda and Andrea remained attentive to all of our questions. If you are looking for a unique outdoor venue amidst nature and wildlife this is the place! CNC staff, THANK YOU for helping make our day so special!

My wife and I enjoyed a beautiful wedding and reception under the pavilion by the lake at the Chattahoochee Nature Center. Our guests had a marvelous time and the venue was a dream come true. Imagine a magical wedding in a fairy forest. Andrea from the Center was immensely helpful and responsive in helping us work out every detail for our event. We hired a band to play next to the fire place, and enjoyed a ceremony right next to the lake with the gorgeous forest in the background. Everything was perfect. I highly recommend this for those considering an easy going outdoor wedding thats close to Atlanta, serene, and with gorgeous natural surroundings. We also had amazing photo opportunities since there are so many picturesque spots around the nature center. And finally, the cost of the venue rental goes to a great cause in helping the Nature center rescue animals and promote wildlife education. They even have Bald Eagles!

Had a terrible experience with the event coordinator. I initially called and emailed the listed information to find out their availability. Nobody got back to me until two weeks later when I reached out on facebook. An event coordinator sent me an email with the available dates and rates. I replied and asked for a time for a tour. No answer. After multiple attempts to set a time to tour the venue (called, emailed, and even texted), we finally decided to give up. No one ever followed up.

The staff at the CNC is so wonderful and the scenery is gorgeous! I loved that we were able to have a secluded ceremony and reception all at one location! We lucked upon this venue and are so thankful that we did! A big hug and thank you to all of the staff/volunteers that made our day a possibility (heat and all)!

We had both our wedding ceremony and reception at the Chattahoochee Nature Center. Not only is it a gorgeous outdoor venue, the Ben Brady Lakeside Pavilion is a great space that's covered so that your guests don't feel like they're unprotected against the elements. Many of the amenities that we needed were also available through the CNC, so we didn't have to worry too much about getting tables and chairs. It's also a wonderful feeling knowing that while we found a great location for our wedding, the money is also going back to a non-profit organization in our local community.Our wedding was in November and was supposed to be during the driest time of the year, but it decided to be frigid and raining all day. Robin and her staff was able to help coordinate and move the entire ceremony under the pavilion. Our wedding was so beautiful and everyone had so much fun. We really can't thank Robin and her staff at the CNC enough for such a rememberable experience that we'll cherish forever.

The CNC is the best venue around for many reasons! First off the staff, especially Mrs. Karen (who deals with weddings) is unbelievably helpful! She will go above and beyond anything you could expect to ensure your wedding is a success. Second the venue is so naturally beautiful! The views, the rivers, the flowers, nature provides such a beautiful setting that it really cuts your decoration costs! Third, it is an all in one venue. You can hold the reception in the meadow, and then the reception in the pavilion. This not only cuts costs but also gives you a great opportunity to get wedding party and family pictures in the meadow while guest can go ahead down to the pavilion. Fourth, the rate. The rental cost of the CNC is DRASTICALLY lower than most other venues, but don't think that is a reflection of the quality of the venue itself. It is a steal! Also, there are numerous hotels right around the venue, so it make guest accommodations super easy! I could go on and on, but just know that if you choose this venue you will not regret it!!!

Fabiola (Manager) I graduated from the University of Georgia as a Wildlife Biologist and have been working with the Chattahoochee Nature Center since August of 2019. Conservation is my passion. Organization and creativity are my strengths. The nature center allows me to help folks get their nature on while making sure that the vision for their special day comes true in a stress free and spectacular way!
