Chaumette Vineyards & Winery is a unique wedding venue located in Sainte Genevieve, MO. We are in the business of making your wedding day the best day ever. From day one until your big day, our team is here to walk you through the process to make it as easy as possible. When you have a Chaumette wedding you do not only pay for a beautiful venue, you have the convenience of catering on property that your guests will rave about, servers to make your guests feel welcome, all of the linens, chairs, flatware, and china you could need, and a day-of wedding coordinator that will help put together the venue exactly as you imagined it would be. It is hard to find wedding venues in Missouri with beautiful 360 views and accommodations nearby, which is why we built The Villages at Chaumette. We have Villas and Villa suites on our grounds for you and your wedding guests to stay. We pride ourselves on being a one-stop-shop for couples on their wedding day. Everything from your rehearsal dinner to things such as a farewell breakfast after your wedding, we can help you plan and have the perfect spaces for these memorable occasions.

We had visited Chaumette for our first time on 6/21. We had made it our special place. On 9/22/22 we had our proposal during the balloon glow. From then we knew we wanted to have our ceremony there. As it would so happen, we had our ceremony one year later on 9/22/23. That evening was also the balloon glow! We started planning our simple wedding on 4/23. We had our beautiful ceremony on the lawn in front of the chapel with our family. The wedding coordinator Molly worked with us to accommodate our needs and help during our ceremony. Charles the General Manager assisted with lodging and accommodations. Everything was professional and stress free. Our special day all came together smoothly. Our wedding at Chaumette was gorgeous! Molly helped us every step of the way. They were even able to recommend a photographer to us. The food was fabulous, the grounds were stunning, and all of our out-of-town guests greatly enjoyed spending a weekend in the rolling hills of rural Missouri.

Molly was amazing in coordinating our wedding! We had some hiccups along the way with planning however once Molly took over as our coordinator, everything ran smoothly and it was amazing. We also had some hiccups with Villa reservations also however everything worked out and it was truly the best day of our lives. We had a tornado warning an hour before the ceremony however it was handled so well by Molly and we were able to push everything back 20 minutes and it turned our great! Weāve been told by several guests that it was the best wedding they had been too. The food was amazing. The venue was beautiful. It couldnāt have been more perfect.

The venue was beautiful and we were able to have full run of the venue for pictures. Molly was our coordinator and was absolutely wonderful and kept up with the constant changes without issue. She was a big help and mad sure our day went off without a hitch!

Absolutely amazing. Diana was our day-of coordinator, and she rocked it. Anything I needed she took care of immediately and was very quick to answer every question and fill every request I had. Diana and her team set everything up and tore everything down so my husband and I were able to enjoy our day with very little stress. The food was exceptional, definitely get the three cheese mashed potatoes. The bartender was awesome, super sweet girl and she made the best drinks! The venue is absolutely breathtaking, from the gorgeous chapel, to the rolling hills that can be seen from everywhere on the property. Diana and her team are awesome at what they do, our reception in the barn was beautiful and set up exactly how I wanted it. The villas are super nice as well. We couldn't have picked a better place for one of the most important days of our lives. Thank you so much to the entire Chaumette team, everything was perfect.

Chaumette was the perfect venue for our wedding. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful! The staff is attentive and reliable! My wedding coordinator, Maggie, was there every step of the way to answer all my questions and address any concerns I had. The food was amazing, the villas were absolutely beautiful, and the barn was the perfect place for our ceremony and reception. We had a wild storm roll through right before the ceremony and the staff allowed us to push it back 30 min (after the storm passed) and they cleaned up and set everything up to where I didnāt even notice a storm came through! I canāt recommend them enough. They made our wedding day perfect!

I seriously donāt even know where to start. I saw the barn at Chaumette and immediately fell in love. After a tour of a few venue - it was without a doubt the venue for us. Not only because it is absolutely gorgeous, but the staff cares so much about the details and they do it with a smile.I was one of the āluckyā brides who had to postpone our wedding due to COVID. Even THAT was a breeze with them. The best part was getting to plan everything with Abigail, their Director of Events who was assigned as my day of coordinator.Abigail was BEYOND helpful, timely, and just a genuinely kind human who made working with the venue (for 2+ years once it was all said and done) a total breeze. No question went unanswered and handled everything we had planned with grace. This venue makes sure it is your day. Not just our coordinator, but the waiters, and especially the staff at the villas. Just a few examples: Abigail truly helped bring our boho chic barn wedding to life with her knowledge of the venue and even got their early to let some family members hang neon signs.The waiters and waitresses came up to me during photos just to bring me and my husband Ordervs (which we SO needed lol)The villas helped us in every way possible at every turn to help us manage so many people coming in from out of town. Calling with updates, cleaning villas early, and even mailing me items left behind.This is just a small list of things I could go on and on about.The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking. Any photo, while gorgeous, does not do justice to the ambiance the barn and the lawn have. Walking into the fully decorated venue and dancing on the patio will be some of my favorite most beautiful memories. The food - ohhhh my gosh - the FOOD. Everyone could not (and still canāt!!) stop talking about it. I have literally had dreams of it since our wedding day. Yes - itās that good. Hereās a plot twist - Iām a vegetarian, and they cater to ANY diet with no issues and everyone raved about it no matter what the meal.The villas are beyond gorgeous. When my family first arrived to their villas I got photos and videos of everyone saying how blown away they were by how cozy, beautiful, clean and overall cool they were. Having my family and bridal party on site made for an epic wedding weekend with people making use of the beautiful area the venue has to offer. Some went on walks in the early morning, some hit the pool after rehearsal dinner, and many patio hopped after the wedding celebrating and having a blast.We did a bonfire at the end of our wedding which was the cherry on top of an amazing night. Some people came dressed as is, others went back to villas and changed, but either way the staff there was friendly and accommodating. We ran into a minor shuttle issue and as I tried to solve it the fire tenders said to me āyou are the bride - this is your night. We will handle this (when I was happy to do it myself - the selflessly put us first). The fire was close to the barn and just an absolute blast on the perfect mid September night.Long story short? I CANNOT rave about this venue and itās staff enough. I will be back to visit for many years to come. If you are looking for the perfect wedding - Chaumette Vineyards and Winery is your venue. We are still on cloud nine. Thank you so much Chaumette!!!!

Everything from the picturesque location to the accommodations, ceremony and reception venues, dinner and wine selections and assistance with day-of coordinating was top-notch. Our Day-of-Coordinator Collins was so professional and so key in ensuring that the vision I had for our dream day came true. Our wedding party and several more of our guests stayed in the villas on-site giving the weekend a true destination wedding feel in southeast Missouri wine country. Collins and the rest of the staff were so flexible and worked with us without question when our wedding had to be delayed due to COVID. The staff followed strict precautions throughout the event and it eventually went off without another hitch. I cannot commend everyone at Chaumette enough for the amazing wedding weekend we were able to have. I would highly recommend for anyone interested in an indoor or outdoor, traditional or rustic winery wedding!

This past weekend we had the most beautiful outdoor wedding in front of the chapel at Chaumette winery. Diana and her curious staff made sure that everything was just how we wanted it. Because of Covid, our original plans had to be changed, thus we did our planning in less than 3 months in a new venue (Chaumette) that was more than willing to have us, accommodate us, and meet our every need. They were friendly and flexible, with a can do, no problem attitude. We were very happy with everything and our guests were also impressed. Thank you for saving the day and making it magical for our daughter and new son in law!!

Chaumette was the most gorgeous venue for our wedding, and the people who we worked with were fantastic! The venue is stunning and we chose it for the beautiful view from the outdoor barn. We even hosted our rehearsal dinner at one of the large villas, and it was a perfect, low-key night we will remember forever! It was great because people were able to spend a lot of time getting to know each other over the weekend when they otherwise would not have had that opportunity at just the wedding. Collins was our dedicated Wedding Coordinator, and she made our wedding planning process manageable and as stress-free as it could be. She was great to work with and was always able to answer any questions. (I had tons of them!) The day of our wedding, Collins kept things moving like clockwork, regardless of what was thrown at her. It rained the day of our wedding but Collins quickly and efficiently turned our outdoor wedding into an indoor wedding but still with the incredible view. The day after our wedding (a Sunday), she answered questions from me and my mother no later than 8 am about how best to retrieve items from the barn. I highly recommend Chaumette for your wedding, and I am so glad we had our wedding here. Collins was our planner that was given to us when we booked & she was wonderful to work with. The day of my wedding was stress free & I was able to enjoy every moment! Having our wedding at Chaumette was a dream. The barn and the surrounding scenery was the perfect place to spend our weekend. I love that this winery has villas for guests to rent. The villas were a perfect place to get ready on the day of the wedding. Also, they are a great place to relax the day after. Besides the breathtaking setting, the staff was exceptional. They were so organized and took care of the entire set up process. This made the night before our wedding and the day of less stressful. I was amazed when I walked into the barn to see it set up just like I imagined. We used several vendors from their preferred vendors list and were so pleased with how amazing they all were. The food was the best. We have not stopped receiving compliments about it!I cannot say enough good things about Abigail. She was accessible throughout the entire process. Whatever question I had, she quickly was able to provide us with an answer. She met with us several times to talk about our ceremony and reception. Our wedding would not have gone as smoothly without her and am so grateful she was our wedding coordinator. She ran the rehearsal dinner and made sure everything followed the timeline during the evening of the wedding. Chaumette was beautiful and made sure our day went smoothly. The Villas are amazing and our out of town guests loved staying there and took full advantage of the amazing pool area for pre and post wedding events. From the moment my mom and I stepped on the property we knew there was something special about Chaumette. The setting is absolutely breathtaking and the location in Ste Genevieve allowed me the opportunity to have the winery wedding of my dreams at a price much more affordable than I was seeing closer to the city...especially for a winery. I can't say enough good things about Beth Caldwell, Director of Events, who I was lucky enough to get as my own personal Chaumette wedding coordinator. From day one, Beth exceeded my expectations in every way! I remember a friend of mine was also getting married at the time and was having issues dealing with her venue and the various vendors she needed to hire. I remember thinking how lucky I was to have Chaumette as pretty much a full-service venue, not to mention, Beth and her staff who did all the heavy lifting and guided me along the way. This made the entire experience very enjoyable for me and the wedding planning didn't feel like a chore. Chaumette also has gorgeous on-property villas that accommodate 2 up to 10+ people. Our closest friends and family stayed in the villas and it was such a treat to be so close to family and friends over the few days we were all there. (Shout out to Kathryn and Lindy for making my villa dreams come true! ) I must also mention that the food is exceptional at Chaumette. I cannot begin to describe how amazing Chaumette was to us and to our family. We fell in love with the winery in Summer of 2017, shortly after getting engaged. We knew upon visiting the grounds for the first time that we would marry there--we put down a deposit almost immediately and set our date for October 18, 2019. In the Spring of 2018, my now husband encountered some very serious health problems and was out of work, slashing our income in half. This put our beautiful winery wedding very far out of reach budget-wise, and we were devastated. It took me a couple days of reconciling how I/we felt before I decided to officially pull the plug with Chaumette. There were tears in my eyes as I emailed Beth, our amazing coordinator, and told her we could no longer hold our wedding there. I told her the winery was so special to us, and we were truly regretful for having to back out, but promised to give the winery our patronage for years to come. Beth emailed me back, expressed her condolences for my husbandās illness, and offered to transfer our deposit for the barn to pay the full cost of the chapel so we could still have the winery wedding of our dreams. Keep in mind people, this was a non-refundable deposit, I did not ask for it back nor would I. These circumstances were just as much out of my control as they were for Chaumette. They owed us nothing, and yet they moved mountains for us. She checked and sure enough, October 18, 2018 (our five year dating anniversary) was available and off we went. While planning the wedding, Beth was incredible prompt and helpful with every question or need we had. She did a fantastic job of organizing our silly peanut gallery family during the wedding rehearsal, and was there for every step on the big dayāshe even brought a coworker, Taylor with her on short notice so I could have the dramatic entrance I wanted. I cannot emphasize it enoughāBeth was made for this. Even after the wedding, when some clothes got accidentally left behind, she was so nice and shipped the clothes back to me and charged it to the card we had on file and I didnāt even have to lift a finger. Incredible. We stayed in the villas the night before and it was perfect. Itās quiet and so peaceful. The vineyards were perfect for taking pictures in, the views are breath-taking, the food is WONDERFUL (weāve eaten here multiple times in the past), and every single person who worked there (Tim, our favorite server in the restaurant, Rhonda in sales, Lindy the villa concierge, and of course Beth and Taylor) made us feel so special, wanted, and cared for in a way I have never experienced. I love this place from top to bottom and I could not recommend it enough. If you are looking for a truly special wedding experience, look no further than Chaumette. We will be loyal customers for the rest of our lives.

Of all the wedding decisions we made, the decision to have our wedding at Chaumette was the best! Service: I cannot say enough fabulous things about our coordinator, Beth! I really donāt think I could have pulled the wedding off without her. She was a huge help in the months leading up to the wedding. We had at least 4 guests include something about how good the food was in their posts on social media after the wedding. Venue: The pictures make Chaumette look so beautiful, but I highly recommend taking a trip there to experience what it is like in person. It doesnāt even feel like youāre in the Missouri when youāre there. We had many friends call it the āNapa of the Midwest.ā On the property you can see rolling hills for miles. We got married outside the barn and have the most beautiful pictures looking out over the vineyard. Accommodations: One of the best things about having our wedding at Chaumette was having all of our close friends and family stay on the property with us. Chaumette has beautiful villas and a pool right on the property. I really donāt think I could have pulled the wedding off without her. She was a huge help in the months leading up to the wedding. They verified with my maid of honor the day of the wedding to make sure that everything was completed. They picked everything up and put it in an easily accessible place all boxed up to be picked up the following day of the wedding. Chaumette was amazing and it made my wedding experience so hassle free that I could not have asked for more. Beth was so wonderful and I could not have asked for a better venue experience. Everything was handled in a way that left me with little to stress about on the big day. My guests were impressed with the view from the barn and the fact that the chef accommodated dietary styles for individual guests. I felt they went above and beyond to provide a good experience. I even forgot my dress in the villa closet and when I realized it in a panic I was able to call and get it back that day even though Beth was in the middle of getting someone else's wedding ready to go. I cannot speak highly enough about Chaumette!

Our wedding took place on August 19, 2017. We were able to book with Chaumette easily in the fall of 2016. Every step of the process from our first visit to the post-wedding recovery was painless and enjoyable! Our wedding ceremony took place on the lawn in front of the barn, and our reception took place inside the barn. The building is beautiful and includes chandelier and stranded lighting so we didn't have to worry about coming up with (or spending money on) very many decorations. The venue also has decorations that can be borrowed (at little or no cost). The barn also includes easily accessible bathrooms nearby and adjacent bride/groom suites for dressing and storing personals during the event. Our wedding day ended up being beautiful and sunny which was wonderful but hot. The arrangement of chairs and setup for the ceremony allowed for guests to stand or sit on the covered porch and maintain a great view of the ceremony if they were too hot in the sun. The venue also accommodates pets so our dog was able to join us for the wedding. The food was delicious and the family-style meal option was a perfect fit for our budget (cost less than plated and not a lot more than buffet), and our guests (many of which had small children and a few used walkers to get around which can make buffet lines somewhat difficult to navigate). No one had to leave the table to enjoy their meal. Chef also ensured that all guests with special diet needs were accommodated (and they all told us their meals were amazing). The events team are incredibly organized and supported us with the details while still respecting our wishes and requests. The events coordinator, Beth, is a rockstar! She communicated well with all of our vendors (and us!) so we did not have to try to organize and wrangle everything on the day-of. She helped keep the in-laws in line and was calm and pleasant the whole time. We were impressed with her ability and willingness to flex and adapt during the big day as things changed from the original plans. Everything ran smoothly and efficiently to the point we ended up having unanticipated down time where we could chill out before the ceremony. The accounting staff were also commendable, providing updates via e-mail for every step through the process from booking to final payment post-wedding. We (bride, groom, and immediate family from out of town) stayed in the villas on site. Chaumette blocks off a set of villas early then flexes as much as they are able to accommodate guests as plans change. The booking process was run efficiently and all family members were able to book and pay without any hassle or problems. The accommodations are beautiful and comfortable. Since the villas are nearby, family members that were unable to stay outside in the heat for extended periods of time had a convenient place to rest in air conditioning when needed. If you are interested in a winery wedding or other event, We highly recommend checking out Chaumette! While they are a little bit of a drive from St. Louis city, it was worth it! Our guests agreed as well and we received many compliments on the venue and service. Thanks so much Chaumette for making our wedding day so special and stress-free!

We had a smaller wedding (about 80 people) in late March. Our ceremony was in St. Vincent's in the Vineyard - Chapel and our reception was just across the hill in the Barn.We cannot say enough about Chaumette and the people that work there. The venue is spectacular, the food and wine was a HUGE crowd pleaser (we had people calling/texting us for weeks saying how good our reception food was), and the Villa's are beyond charming, clean and cozy. We began working with Beth, coordinator at Chaumette, right away. The first time we met she listened to our ideas and wishes and helped us create our day based on that. She helped scheduled a wine tasting, food tasting and always kept me on track when at some points I had no idea what to do. Beth and her coworkers kept the wedding on track day-of as well. Our wedding party always knew where to be and when. I felt so comfortable letting Beth coordinate with our DJ and photograph prior to the day and day-of, which took so much stress off me as I did not have a wedding coordinator.In addition, I would highly recommend inviting your guests to stay in Chaumette's Villas. Lindy, our Villa coordinator, went above and beyond to help us with the Villas. Our guests were so impressed with the lovely Villas that they are all trying to plan trips back (most traveled from out of state to attend). We had a smaller wedding (about 80 people) in late March. Our ceremony was in St. Vincent's in the Vineyard - Chapel and our reception was just across the hill in the Barn.We cannot say enough about Chaumette and the people that work there. The venue is spectacular, the food and wine was a HUGE crowd pleaser (we had people calling/texting us for weeks saying how good our reception food was), and the Villa's are beyond charming, clean and cozy. We began working with Beth, coordinator at Chaumette, right away. The first time we met she listened to our ideas and wishes and helped us create our day based on that. She helped scheduled a wine tasting, food tasting and always kept me on track when at some points I had no idea what to do. Beth and her coworkers kept the wedding on track day-of as well. Our wedding party always knew where to be and when. I felt so comfortable letting Beth coordinate with our DJ and photograph prior to the day and day-of, which took so much stress off me as I did not have a wedding coordinator.In addition, I would highly recommend inviting your guests to stay in Chaumette's Villas. Lindy, our Villa coordinator, went above and beyond to help us with the Villas. Our guests were so impressed with the lovely Villas that they are all trying to plan trips back (most traveled from out of state to attend). My husband and I got married at Chaumette in June 2017 - it was a perfect day! We worked with Beth, Collins, Rhonda, Nicole and Chef Rob. Our wedding was a private ceremony in the vineyard. It was beautiful! Our reception was held in the barn. We brought in a dance floor, tent and outdoor seating. The staff made it all so easy and worked with all of our venders. The food was amazing! We did heavy hors d'ouvres and separate hot and cold food stations - our menu was to die for! We even had an oyster and shrimp bar! Chef Rob made it perfect! We finished up the evening in the villas with our closest friends and family. Perfect wedding venue in the rustic Missouri countryside!

There are not enough great things I can say about Chaumette! They were an easy decision to make as far as June 3rd wedding venue: one tour of this gorgeous property and youāll be sold! We had our ceremony at the Chapel (which held our guest list of 100 snuggly, but managed to seat everyone!) and our reception at the Ballroom. Both spaces were stunning. We stayed at the villas on site, which was a convenience that is priceless. The villas provided a serene place to get ready the morning before, and crash at the morning after! In regards to food, our guests are STILL raving about it. Iām blown away by the quality of the food, and that this was achieved for 100 people! This is the best wedding food in the Midwest, hands down. Yes, the venue was great, as were the villas and food, but the best part about Chaumette is their staff! We had Beth as a wedding coordinator (whoās service was free when we booked with Chaumette), and she made our day absolutely perfect! Her and the staff set up the reception space, and cleaned up afterwards (including loading gifts into cars!). Plus, Beth was there the entire wedding day, helping with the flow of events. Throughout the day, she would ask my husband and I if we needed anything. It seems like such a small thing, but it made the world of difference! Thank you, Chaumette, for making all of these memories! We already canāt wait to come back for anniversaries to come.

She was so helpful early on in the planning process, especially since we live in NC. She was very easy to communicate with and was quick to answer our millions of questions. She and her staff did an incredible job with the decorations in the barn and made it even more beautiful than I could have imagined. We had a family style dinner service and we're pleasantly surprised with how quickly everyone was served. The food was hot and absolutely delicious. Everything turned out beautiful and way better than we could've imagined! The food, the views, the service, it was all incredible. What we really loved the most about Chaumette was the fact that we had a day of coordinator. Our coordinator, Beth, made sure everything was exactly the way we wanted it. She was right beside us through the whole planning process at Chaumette. Without her help, our wedding wouldn't have been as incredible as it was. We also loved how everything is on property at Chaumette. My bridesmaids and I utilized the spa for hair and makeup and our wedding party and family stayed at the villas for the weekend. My husband and I had the best day ever and it was all because we chose Chaumette for our venue.

You will not regret choosing Chaumette! My husband and I recently got married at Chaumette's Barn, on September 24, 2016, and everything was perfect!When we were originally planning our wedding, it took us a bit to determine exactly what \"feel\" we wanted. After viewing many venues, we decided that Chaumette was exactly what we were going for. It is a laid back atmosphere where we were able to envision our guests letting loose and truly celebrating our marriage with us. (After all, that's what it's all about, right?) This is exactly what we wanted and exactly what we got! Nothing about the wedding felt \"stuffy\" and our guests were able to kick back and enjoy the night with us.We also loved the solidarity of Chaumette. We've been to several weddings where it seemed that guests were looking to the next thing by dinner, asking, \"Where are we going out after this?\" When you're bringing all of your guests together for one day, it's nice to have their focus and know that you're going to get to see them before, during, and after the wedding. Hosting our wedding at Chaumette allowed everyone to step away from the chaos of real life and enjoy a weekend away, with us, to celebrate. On that note, I was originally worried about it being a bit secluded. How are our guests going to get there and back? What about travel for vendors? It all ended up coming together, perfectly, without much effort. Many of our guests stayed on-site in Chaumette's Villages. Other guests stayed in Farmington at a hotel that provided a shuttle. As for vendors, there were several who traveled to Chaumette for no charge or for a very small fee (which would have been required for travel to any location). This was not the headache that I anticipated and the solidarity noted above outweighed any planning needed due to Chaumette's location.One final reason to choose Chaumette: it's a one stop shop and everything they offer is amazing. When we were looking at venues, I could not fathom the additional work required when you rent a venue that is really just a \"space.\" Looking back, I still cannot imagine this. There is already so much on your plate when you are planning a wedding. The thought of renting everything, down to knives and forks, is crazy. With Chaumette, everything is included. Additionally, they have on-site catering that is top-knotch, and your rental includes a planner. (Shoutout to Beth, who became my right-hand woman and was SO helpful.) Also, you can hold your ceremony on site as well, which we did on the Barn Lawn. This all made planning so much easier.To summarize, Chaumette is gorgeous. The wine is great. The food is amazing. The staff is amazing. We are so pleased with our decision to marry and celebrate at Chaumette!

They have enough lodging for 80+ people which was a game changer for us. It basically made it the a convenient destination wedding that was as enjoyable as the wedding itself.We had the rehearsal dinner Friday night in the Barrel Room in which they provided excellent food and drinks.The wedding was at Willow Grove and was gorgeous. As we approached the Barn at Chaumette Winery & Vineyards, I saw my daughters eyes light up. I knew this was where she was going to have her wedding. As a meeting planner myself, I wondered if we could make it work financially and if the staff at Chaumette could carry out the many details involved in planning a wedding. From our first visit with the Sales Director Keith to our final goodbye with our wedding coordinator Beth, we were blown away with the attention to detail, creativity, and top notch quality of service that we received. Chaumette Winery offered us the opportunity to have a destination wedding close to home. The Barn setting was the perfect backdrop for our rustic elegance theme. The night was simply magical. I cannot say enough about our meeting planner Beth. She was quick to respond to our emails, offer suggestions to help us stay within our budget, and executed the smallest detail on a hot August summer day. We had over 200 guests in the barn and the food was amazing. My daughter is Vegan and my son-in-law is Vegetarian. The chef worked with them to create a fantastic meal on their special day. Our wedding guests are still talking about the Macaroni and Cheese. The Villas were first rate and allowed our wedding party and relatives to stay on site. I wish they had more Villas as our wedding guests didnāt want to leave. Chaumette Winery was the perfect place to host our daughterās wedding. Thank you to all the staff at Chaumette Winery & Vineyards. The Barn tucked back into the woods overlooking the hills of Missouri will forever hold many special memories.

Dwane and I were married at Chaumette Winery October 9, 2016. We had been to two previous weddings at Chaumette and knew that it was the place for us. We had a Fall Chapel View wedding that exceeded our expectations. With the historic Chapel sitting in the background surrounded by woods, and Dwane and I standing under a beautiful fall Arbor, it was a spectacular setting to share with our family and friends. With the highly skilled professional staff, it made the planning easy and the execution flawless. On our wedding day the staff made sure that we had nothing to worry about. From a pre-wedding lunch for the wedding party , to opening the chapel doors for our magical entrance, to packing the gifts and decor at the conclusion of the reception--the staff did it all. Chaumette and their wonderful staff exceeded our expectations and everyone of our guests were so impressed with the location, the food, the decor and the beauty of our wedding Thank you Chaumette

Dwane and I were married at Chaumette Winery October 9, 2016. We had been to two previous weddings at Chaumette and knew that it was the place for us. We had a Fall Chapel View wedding that exceeded our expectations. With the historic Chapel sitting in the background surrounded by woods, and Dwane and I standing under a beautiful fall Arbor, it was a spectacular setting to share with our family and friends. With the highly skilled professional staff, it made the planning easy and the execution flawless. On our wedding day the staff made sure that we had nothing to worry about. From a pre-wedding lunch for the wedding party , to opening the chapel doors for our magical entrance, to packing the gifts and decor at the conclusion of the reception--the staff did it all. Chaumette and their wonderful staff exceeded our expectations and everyone of our guests were so impressed with the location, the food, the decor and the beauty of our wedding Thank you Chaumette

The chapel, Barrel Room, villas, and spa . . . all came together to make it a perfect, intimate setting for us and all of our guests. The entire experience exceeded our expectations with wedding coordinator Beth, wine expert Rodney, and Chef Rob feeling like old friends or family by the end of our journey. We will celebrate our anniversary there every year and intend to make frequent trips throughout the year. My now husband and I held our wedding at Chaumette's Barn on May 7, 2015 and could have not been more pleased with everything -- from the food, to the service and staff, everything was top notch. We had guests fly in from all over the country and almost all went out of their way to tell me how impressed with the amazing venue right here in Southeastern Missouri. Sharon, the event planner, is amazing. We toyed with hiring a separate planner and realized after the wedding that this would have not been necessary. Sharon ran the rehearsal seamlessly and called and checked in with all of my vendors multiple times before the big day. The food is amazing too; our biggest crowd pleasers were creole deviled eggs; mac and cheese with buttery breadcrumbs and andouille sausage lollipops. The venue itself is beautiful as are the villas and the bridal suite. I didn't end up using the spa to get ready the day-of, but my bridesmaids did have a mani/pedi there the day before and it was very high end and a great experience. I couldn't recommend this venue more -- it's a great value and truly uncompromising service.

I just had my wedding at Chaumette this past weekend (10-24-15). Everything was amazing. From the moment we met with our Day of Event Coordinator, Sharon, over a year a ago we knew we were in good hands. They were EXTREMELY helpful in providing information you didn't even know you would need. They clearly have done this many times before and it definitely showed throughout our entire planning process and the day of our wedding. \r\rWe ended up renting villas the night before our wedding so that we would already be on property that morning to get ready. Since check-in time in the villas isn't guaranteed until 4:00 PM we thought it was best to make sure we had our villas before then for a 5:00 PM ceremony time so this is why we got 2 villas for the night before (1 for bridesmaids to get ready in and 1 for groomsmen to get ready in). We would definitely recommend doing this. It made everything so easy the day of already being there. If you do not want to rent the villas you are also able to get ready in the Spa area if you are getting your hair & makeup done by them. If you are not getting hair & makeup done by them you can use the downstairs locker room area (however this is not private). I wanted to use my own vendor for hair and makeup so we went with the villas and were very pleased with them. Our wedding guests actually ended up renting out all of the villas to stay in that night. It was awesome to have so many of our friends and family staying on site. The villas were amazing. Very open and clean. They were very accommodating with letting us have a late check-in because we were driving in late Friday night from St. Louis after our rehearsal dinner. I would 100% recommend staying in the villas.\r\rWe had our wedding ceremony on the lawn outside of the barn. It turned out beautiful! We were forecasted for 90% chance of rain, but thankfully we ended up being clear all day! The good news though, if you do end up having rain they have great plan B options for rain. There is a chapel on the property, however our wedding would have been to large for the chapel. They also have a loft in the barn that you can use. Our plan B would have been to have our ceremony on the patio where the dance floor is and then clear the chairs out.\r\rWhile waiting for the ceremony to begin we were able to hang out in a room they have right next to the bathrooms. It was heated and worked out perfectly so that guests weren't trying to find us before the ceremony. While we were waiting Sharon was very attentive and helped get the ceremony moving. \r\rFor our reception we had it in The Barn. The barn is right next to the lawn that we had the ceremony at so it was very easy for guests to go straight from the ceremony into the barn for cocktail hour.\r\rOur wedding was a little bit larger than what the barn would normally hold but they gave us great options to accommodate our guests. We ended up putting tables on the porch and also on the patio and it worked out great. \r\rThere are SO many amazing places for photos on their property.If you are planning on having a wedding here I would allow extra time for photos because there are so many cool areas for great shots! Of course, the vineyards are a great place for photos. The willow grove area also looks great. We ended up taking most of our pictures around the barn and in the loft. \r\rThe food was amazing! So many compliments! \r\rOverall - AWESOME staff & venue!

My wedding at Chaumette was a dream come true! The staff there is second to none and made the entire process so easy. I was planning from Virginia and they made it so easy. We met with Keith first, who showed us all around the property when we didn't even have an appointment. Jackie coordinated the wedding and allowed us to bring our motorcycles into the vineyards to get amazing photos! Jeannine was so sweet to work with and arranged the villas for everyone. Kathryn was a pure joy in the spa and my matron of honor and I enjoyed a relaxing day of nails, hair and makeup. Sharon was an incredible coordinator. My fiancƩ dropped our decorations off at the barn and the staff turned the place into a stunning reception site! I saw pictures of other couples who had wedding there and thought mine could never look as good. But it was beyond anything I could imagine. After the wedding, everything was boxed up and we picked it up the next morning. \r Chaumette was a perfect wedding destination because everything you could need is right there and the staff have done so many weddings that everything just falls together perfectly. They keep things on track and always made me feel so special. I felt like I was the only bride they ever had. I appreciated not having to stress about anything- it was well worth every penny to be able to just sit back and enjoy the day!! We can't wait to visit again soon!

My groom and I just got married at this breathtaking winery yesterday and I couldnt get on here fast enough to write a 5 star review for them. From the moment we stepped foot on the property we where taken care of like royalty. First we met with Keith who gave a wonderful presentation and answered all our questions when booking this venue for our wedding the next year. Jeannine was very helpful and patient in explaining and organizing the villa reservations for my family and bridal party and helped each of us get booked. Kathryn and her team where such a blessing and took such good care of my bridesmaids and I for our prewedding spa day and all the getting ready activities before the wedding that evening. You could genuinely see on all of their faces how happy they where to get to experience the day with us and how beautiful everyone was. Then there was Sharon. You could not ask for a better wedding coordinator. From day one she was on it with every detail we had to go over, even covering things i didnt even think about. She was extreamly calm and professional when i was getting very emotional and a bit bridezilla on everyone. I had this picture in my head of what everything should look like and it was hard for me to let someone else take over the work so i could relax and get ready but sharon went above and beyond and truly cared to make sure it was perfect for me. We texted pics back and forth and she even brough a chair with the decorations up to me across the property so we could be on the same page. I got up there after our first look and the picture I had in my head was nothing compared to the beauty that was our wedding we had been planning and waiting so long for. I got complements all day friday and saturday on how good the food is, how helpful and friendly the staffing is, how georgous the venue alone is. I highly HIGHLY reccommend this venue to all brides looking to have a unforgrttable wedding. We had ours outside at the barn. They also have indoor facilities and we had our rehersal downstairs in their barrel room which is extreamly romantic. I cant thank this lovely group of people enough for giving us the best unforgetable day of our lives. We love you all. Our wedding was at the barn and it was absolutely gorgeous. Our event coordinator traveled far and wide for us and gave us the best service we could ever ask for. Our wedding coordinator, however, was a bit confusing the day of. These were two different people. Our food was great. My only complaint there is I don't believe we were served the same potatoes we tasted and paid for. My family did complain quite a bit about the poor parking situation at the barn and it was very difficult to get my husbands grandma in and out of the barn in her wheelchair. They did make everything easy the day of as they do set up for you. Overall I am very pleased with our decision.

So much so, that we surprised them by not asking for a tour prior to getting down to business. We knew the property of Chaumette could be magical, but we didn't know how fantastic the staff would be to work with. From the start Jackie and our wedding coordinator, Sharon, were easy to work with and listened carefully to our requests. They were supportive of our decisions, and made time to help us along the way. We had our ceremony at St. Vincent's Chapel, which was exactly perfect for our needs. We followed the wedding with a reception in the ballroom. I spent hours obsessing over decorations- all of which the staff happily put up for me while I was in the Spa getting ready with my bridesmaids. The ballroom is beautiful without decor, but with my individual touches it was exactly what I envisioned. Chaumette was everything I hoped for in a venue. The food was absolutely amazing. I had more guests comment on the food than any other part of the wedding (and I can't even take offense.. because the food was that good.) The scenery is gorgeous, and offers a wide range of photo options. Best of all, the property is full service, offering several options for ceremony, reception, and picture locations, as well as a beautiful Spa and Villa's for the wedding night. I can't imagine that my wedding could have been more beautiful than it was, or that it could have gone more perfectly than it did, and I have the staff at Chaumette to thank for making the experience so wonderful. If you want to have a winery wedding, Chaumette is a high class option with great tasting wine, and fantastic customer service.

My husband and I were married at the Barn at Chaumette in September of 2014. It was everything I imagined and our guests were so impressed! The staff are wonderful. The food is AMAZING! The views are breath taking! \rWe used the spa for makeup and for the girls to get ready. My cosmetologist made sure my makeup looked perfect for me. The entire bridal party had lunch at the Tasting Room, Grapevine Grill. The food was delicious and a must on a very busy day. The staff did all the setup at the barn, so I didn't have to worry about it. They did an absolutely perfect job. It's hard to put into words the beauty of this venue. Chaumette proved to be an amazing experience from start to finish for our July 2014 wedding. We had our rehearsal dinner on the porch overlooking the vineyards, our ceremony on The Barn lawn, and our reception in The Barn. Many of my guests stayed at the beautiful villas on site, coming early for a weekend getaway. Chaumette was a breath-taking location, the food was delicious, and the wine flowed freely. I appreciated how the staff worked tirelessly to help me plan and execute my nuptials. They guided me through the entire process and were incredibly flexible and available. The best part was that when the day finally arrived, they handled everything, and I was able to enjoy myself, my groom, and our guests without a worry for the details. I knew the staff at Chaumette would handle any hiccup that might arise. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing.

My husband and I were engaged in Napa, so we knew we wanted to bring the same winery theme to our wedding but closer to home. When we visited Chaumette for the first time, we were absolutely blown away by how beautiful and picturesque it was. The owner, Jackie, took us on a private tour of the grounds and spent well over 2 hours with us telling us the story behind the winery she owned with her husband and answering every question we had about having our wedding there. The icing on the cake was when we stayed for dinner to sample the delicious food by Chef Adam.\r\rWhen I booked with Chaumette, I was assigned a wedding coordinator, Bri, who was there to help me with questions and keep me organized through the planning process. She was a total life saver especially since I lived over an hour away from Ste Genevieve and needed help with vendors.\r\rMy husband and I were married at Chaumette on August 30 and we couldn't be happier with decision of venue. We took full advantage of every amenity they had to offer:\r\r- Barrel Room: We had our rehearsal dinner here. The room is decorated with wine barrels and tea lights and was the best cozy, intimate location for our group of 35.\r\r- Villas: It worked out so perfectly that there are sleeping accommodations on-site since the closest hotel is 25 minutes away in Farmington. They are a little pricey to stay at, but if you fill to capacity, the price per person isn't so bad (the largest villa is $495/night for 10 people). They have full kitchens and are beautifully decorated. I would recommend working with Sarah when booking the villas, because Jeanine is disorganized.\r\r- The Spa at Chaumette: I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Kathryn, who runs the Spa. When I walked in the spa for my day of wedding appointments, she gave me a hug and shared my excitement with me. I had hair, nail and make-up appointments for me, my bridesmaids and mom and she was extremely accommodating and caring throughout the entire process. Everyone was finished on time and looking beautiful! The Spa also has a pool with cabanas!\r\r- The Barn: Our ceremony was on the lawn outside of the Barn and it was everything I had always wanted in an outdoor ceremony. The Barn is tucked into a wooded corner on a hilltop, which makes it feel really private. The flowers and greenery planted around the Barn also makes it a gorgeous place for pictures (and helps save on florist costs!). Our ceremony was in August, so we were a little concerned about the heat and bugs. Luckily, there is a really nice breeze that passes through on the hilltop and the grounds are consistently sprayed for bugs so I didn't notice a thing! My only cons with the Barn would be the guest parking. Guests park in the grass and then walk up on gravel roads. It's a little dirty and dusty for guests and cars show up in the ceremony pictures. I think this is a renovation that will be completed soon. Our reception inside the Barn was perfectly executed. We had 154 guests and it didn't feel cramped at all, but I would not recommend going any higher in guest count.\r\r- Chef Adam Lambay: Seriously, incredible food! I was fortunate to have him cater our rehearsal dinner, our lunch at the Spa, our wedding dinner and our farewell breakfast. Every single meal was amazing.\r\rI had so many compliments from guests on the venue. A million thank yous to the Jackie, Hank and the staff at Chaumette. You made our dream wedding come true!

My finace and I loved every part of our wedding. Everything was perfect from the beautiful venue, the top notch staff, and the amazing food made our day perfect. Sharon, our coordinator, helped us with everything along the way. She helped me feel like my ideas and needs were always important. The barn, where we had our wedding, was amazing! The views were breathtaking and everyone who came to our wedding said it was the best wedding that they had ever attended. The villas are beautiful and peaceful. If you choose this venue, you will not be disappointed.

I knew I wanted to get married at Chaumette the moment I saw their barn. With a picturesque view, it's hard to believe you are so close to home if you are from the area. Jackie and her team were great to work with and very flexible when we needed to change ceremony plans last minute. They are good about having backup plans if needed to accommodate changing weather. Guests commented on how delicious the food was, especially the smoked brisket. The best part about Chaumette is that they offer Spa services, catering, lodging, etc. They are a one stop place for your dream wedding.

I had my wedding reception in the Barn at Chaumette this past August. Despite the fact that it was approximately 100 degrees outside, the wedding was PERFECT. Jackie Johnson and her wonderful team, especially Bri, were fantastic, professional, and joys to work with. They went above and beyond to make our wedding the most special day. The food was delicious. The venue was simply gorgeous. We transformed the Barn into a magestic place. All in all, I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Chaumette and the wedding team!!

September 12th I was married at Chaumette. We had the ceremony on the front lawn of the barn and the reception in the barn. LOVED the venue. Honestly, I highly recommend them for anyone looking. The day of I had no stress. They handled everything for me. I was just able to relax. My wedding coordinator was amazing. Throughout the nights of events she would come and say its almost time for the cake cutting when you finish up here head over to the cake table. Or the ceremony will be getting ready to start in about 10 minutes I will be back for you in a few minutes. We did not run into a single problem. Even the weather wanted to be a little difficult that day to where we thought we might have to have the ceremony inside. The staff let us wait until the very last second that we had to to make the call and I was able to have it outside just as planned. It honestly is a beautiful venue with beautiful scenery. Guest after guest kept commenting on how gorgeous everything was. All I could say is I know because it was. The food was delicious. Our meal was served promptly after being seated and was hot and extremely good. Thankful for the helpful staff at Chaumette that made my experience and day so wonderful! Is it the cheapest venue there is no not necessarily but for all they do for you, provide for you, and coordinate for you it is so worth it. They set up the entire area for me so I didn't have to talk friends into helping out. They also packed everything away for me afterwards. All I had to do was pick up my boxes the next day. They have many items they provide free of charge such as wine barrels, lanterns, and table linens. Very impressed with Chaumette as was all of my guests. Can't wait to attend another event there someday.

My husband and I fell in love with Chaumette the moment we saw it about 2 years ago. We immediately knew where we wanted to get married! During our two years of planning, both Jackie and Sharon were very helpful and attentive to our needs, and all of our questions were answered in a timely manner. Every wedding has some hiccups, our only complaints were the crunchy baked beans (they were extremely undercooked) which was unfortunate since we only offered two main entree side dishes to our guests, and an inadequate amount of set up time. Our wedding was very DIY, and we weren't allowed to start setting up until 10am. At 3:00, there were still boxes lying everywhere and guests were scheduled to show up at 3:45. In the end, everything worked out great and our guests are still raving about how beautiful and fun our wedding turned out! I would definitely recommend Chaumette to future Brides.

I cannot really tell you how thankful I am for my experience at Chaumette. Everything was perfect. For a wedding experience, with all of its working parts, to be considered perfect is a major feat. The team worked hard to make sure that every detail was accounted for, that my personal needs were met, and they made accommodation on top of accommodation. Seriously,they made me gluten free cookies and used real lavender to make lavender syrup for a specialty cocktail. When I say they go beyond, I am not lying.\rThe space is gorgeous, the landscape is amazing, and I have to also emphasize that the food is awesome. We come from a family of chefs and major foodies, and they could not stop raving about the food. Wedding food tasting fabulous?? Sign up here!!!\rWe made the event a reunion weekend and stayed in the villas and used the spa services. We also had our rehearsal cocktail event there as well. Every single person had the best time ever. The villas are gorgeous. The spa is amazing and beautiful. The rehearsal food and service was impeccable. \rI have no regrets and just hope a friend of mine chooses to get married there, so I can experience Chaumette all over again!

They do EVERYTHING for you the day of the wedding (and lots leading up to the day). I have no worries in the hands of my amazing coordinator, Bri. She was so helpful and professional and did everything in her power to take the stress of me on the wedding day. Another bonus was an incident that I had with the owner of the venue. My parents had rented a villa for myself and my bridesmaids the evening before the wedding but forgot to make breakfast arrangements. We were starving but no place was close enough for us to eat. The owner called someone and within minutes we were eating a gormet breakfast by the pool. Talk about customer service! Chaumette goes above and beyond in everything they do. Get married here! They have multiple locations on site to make any couple happy.

We were married in the Barn at Chaumette in October 2013. The Barn is the perfect rustic dream, creating an atmosphere like none other that I have experienced at a wedding. Our ceremony was on the lawn right outside the barn, with rolling hills and the winery as our backdrop. We used Dan Hoerleās wonderful guitar skills as our background music for the ceremony and cocktail hour. It just made the experience that much betterāthank you to Chaumette staff for the recommendation. The barn is set apart from the rest of the winery, providing privacy and amazing views. The natural beauty of the winery, and the barn venue create an ambiance that feels outside of the Midwest.\rThe food at Chaumette is perfection, a quality you don't normally see at weddings that service hundreds of guests. Dinner at our rehearsal in the barrel room was delicious and intimate. Surrounded by wine barrels and candles, we dined on Chaumette chicken and homemade bread. Our pork at the wedding was such a unique pick, the menu was really a masterpiece. Chef Adam is a hidden gem, if you havenāt eaten at the grapevine grill yet, get there immediately. The night of our reception our guests kept complimenting the amazing food! This is purely preference, but we also had Rhythm of the Night as our band for the evening, and the live music really added to the rustic outdoor experience.\rMy only complaint throughout the process was the turn over of the staff. I hope that this was a rare experience, and that they have finally settled in, because they have such a good thing going now. I was very nervous when our first wedding planner left, but Jackie Johnson swooped in, and really made our experience fantastic. The spa also had a lot of turnover, which was nerve racking, but when Katherine came into the picture, I immediately felt better. Katherine at the Spa is a dream. She fixed every worry, and was so pleasant to work with. Our hair and makeup experience was very relaxing, and enjoyable. They set aside a private room for all of us to get ready in, as we enjoyed snacks and mimosaās. It started to rain before our first look, so we also used the spa porch for our first pictures together, still gorgeous, because at Chaumette you canāt find an unappealing view even if you tried. \rWe did get our own wedding planner involved when the turnover began, which I would highly recommend if you can make it happen, just for your own peace of mind. It was convenient when I didnāt know what questions to ask, or how to make sure that certain details were executed. Chaumette worked very well with our planner, and together they really created the most beautiful and memorable day. \rJackie Johnson is also VERY good at her job--you wouldn't expect her to take on as many roles as she does as the owner of the winery--making sure that all of your wishes come true. A wearer of many hats, she is a truly talented individual, very classy lady, and was a pleasure to work with.\rāØāØWe love Chaumette, it is a winery that we frequent because of their beautiful views, amazing quality of food, and delicious wine. We are so thrilled that we were able to share our love of this beautiful winery with all of our wedding guests, and that we have such wonderful memories from our absolutely perfect day. \rIf you are looking for a rustic winery wedding, youāve found it, and your guests surely be impressed!

We were married in the Barn at Chaumette in October 2013. The Barn is the perfect rustic dream, creating an atmosphere like none other that I have experienced at a wedding. Our ceremony was on the lawn right outside the barn, with rolling hills and the winery as our backdrop. We used Dan Hoerleās wonderful guitar skills as our background music for the ceremony and cocktail hour. It just made the experience that much betterāthank you to Chaumette staff for the recommendation. The barn is set apart from the rest of the winery, providing privacy and amazing views. The natural beauty of the winery, and the barn venue create an ambiance that feels outside of the Midwest.\rThe food at Chaumette is perfection, a quality you don't normally see at weddings that service hundreds of guests. Dinner at our rehearsal in the barrel room was delicious and intimate. Surrounded by wine barrels and candles, we dined on Chaumette chicken and homemade bread. Our pork at the wedding was such a unique pick, the menu was really a masterpiece. Chef Adam is a hidden gem, if you havenāt eaten at the grapevine grill yet, get there immediately. The night of our reception our guests kept complimenting the amazing food! This is purely preference, but we also had Rhythm of the Night as our band for the evening, and the live music really added to the rustic outdoor experience.\rMy only complaint throughout the process was the turn over of the staff. I hope that this was a rare experience, and that they have finally settled in, because they have such a good thing going now. I was very nervous when our first wedding planner left, but Jackie Johnson swooped in, and really made our experience fantastic. The spa also had a lot of turnover, which was nerve racking, but when Katherine came into the picture, I immediately felt better. Katherine at the Spa is a dream. She fixed every worry, and was so pleasant to work with. Our hair and makeup experience was very relaxing, and enjoyable. They set aside a private room for all of us to get ready in, as we enjoyed snacks and mimosaās. My husband and I were married in September 2013 at The Barn. The Barn was able to accommodate our 120 guests very comfortably for dinner and dancing. Our ceremony was on the lawn right outside the barn, however, we could have easily moved under the covered patio or to the loft of the barn if there had been inclement weather. The Barn was everything I had been looking for in a wedding venue. It's location on the property allows for privacy and amazing views of the rolling hills and vineyards. The bathrooms and the bridal suite at the barn are beautifully furnished. The bridal suite was a nice retreat for me and my bridesmaids prior to the ceremony and during the reception to freshen up and relax. \r\rThe entire property is stunning. All of our close family and friends stayed in the Villas on both Friday and Saturday night. The Villas are a bit pricey, however, you truly get what you pay for. They are simply beautiful and not to mention very convenient in terms of being on site for all of the wedding events. The staff at The Spa were very accomodating. I was allowed to bring in my own hair and makeup artist and use the gorgeous ladies locker room to get ready in with my bridal party and family. The ladies locker room features multiple vanity mirrors and places to sit. My mother, mother-in-law, and 4 bridesmaids used the stylists at The Spa for their hair and everyone was finished right on time. We were also allowed to set up our own buffet for lunch right outside The Spa on the back covered porch. It worked out perfectly! \r\rThe food at Chaumette is AMAZING!! We enjoyed delicious meals at our rehearsal dinner in the barrel room and at our reception in the barn. Chef Adam prepared special meals for our vegetarian friends at both events. The night of our reception our guests kept approaching us and complimenting the unique venue and the amazing food! Hats off to Chef Adam!\r\rInitially, when we booked the venue for our wedding we didn't think we would need to hire an outside wedding coordinator, however, I am glad we did. During the planning process there was a high turn over of wedding coordinating staff at Chaumette. I was very apprehensive about the constant change, however, there was a continuity that was carried over with each new staff member we worked with. I would highly recommend hiring your own wedding coordinator for the wedding day. My coordinator worked with the coordinating staff at Chaumette to execute a PERFECT wedding day!! We were able to relax and enjoy the entire day knowing our wedding professionals where handling all of the details. While the staff at Chaumette is very knowledgable, they are NOT wedding planners. If you don't want to be bothered with questions and decision making on the day of your wedding bring your own coordinator. My coordinator and DJ worked together to make sure all events were announced (i.e. caking cutting, first dances, etc.). I did not rely on Chaumette for any of those services so I cannot speak to their abilities in that capacity. The staff we worked with at Chaumette were professional and organized. \r\rOverall, our experience was as close to PERFECT as you can get! My husband and I still talk frequently about how PERFECT our wedding day was! We look forward to spending many anniversaries at Chaumette Vineyards and Winery!\r\rHappy Wedding Planning!\r\r\r\r\r\r

Chaumette Vineyards and Winery was everything my husband and I could have dreamed of! We just currently got married in October 2013 at the Barn of Chaumette. The food was fantastic, service was so great and you truly get what you pay for when it comes to quality! Good:\rThis is a beautiful wedding site, our wedding was in the barn, and our rehearsal was in the barrel room\rChef Adam is the best in the region (we did both rehearsal and wedding with his food)\rThe Villas were wonderful to stay in- however really pricey\rThe hotels in the area were willing to run shuttles, however the hotels in the area are about 30 minutes away \r\rBad:\rThey are not organized. They will promise things and not be able to fulfill them. We did everything, went over thins multiple times,but they had very little clue about almost everything at the time of the rehearsal and the wedding. For instance: we flew across the country to do a menu tasting ( my husband and I live on the east coast) and when we got there our menu was not what we'd intended- this is not Chef Adam's fault, he got the notes from our tasting and made an amazing menu around what he thought we wanted- unfortunately that wasn't what we'd asked for, but our guests said the food was great, it just wasn't something my husband and I eat. \rYour wedding will be picturesque here, however even though they offer a wedding coordinating service (for everyone) don't expect that you won't be doing everything and repeating yourself. \r\rIt is full of really beautiful spaces though.

I got married there on September 29th in the chapel on their grounds and then had my reception in the barn. \r\rThe food was delicious.\r\rThe views are gorgeous. The management and \"wedding planner\" was almost as awful as the owner is. They had offered to have someone cut our cake and announce all of the events occurring at our reception like our first dance and cake cutting. When we arrived at the reception, the owner came out and was extremely rude in telling us that she couldn't do any of that for us even though our wedding planner had promised us in writing she would. We had to explain to her that they better do what they had promised and she left in a huff without even telling us if she was going to fix this major problem.\r\rThey also rented us the use of their golf cart to shuttle guests around. We paid for them to have it cleaned so our guests wouldn't get dirty. When we went to the barn in the morning, their 5 dogs cornered me in my wedding dress and almost got mud all over it. When we finally got the owners attention, she called the dogs away from me and had them jump in the golf cart and get mud all over the seats we supposedly had paid for them to clean.\r\rThe wedding planner also came up to me halfway through the reception and told me that her 8 hours of work was up and she would be leaving and it was my job to make sure everything went smoothly from there. When I told her that I wasn't going to manage everyone since I was the bride, she just left which left me and my photographers who were nice enough to help us manage the rest of the evening.\r\rThe spa at Chaumette is one of the biggest nightmares I have ever dealt with. They messed up my invoice three separate times and then wouldn't return my phone calls when I was trying to pay them! When I went in to get my hair done in the morning, they informed me that they would be understaffed and wouldn't have the stylists there to do my bridesmaids hair like they had promised and it would delay my schedule by about 2 hours. I asked them why they hadn't informed me earlier about their problem and they simply said that they didn't know I would need to know. They had promised 4 stylists and only had 2 the day of. They also completely ruined my hair and when I asked them to redo it, the stylist seemed angry that I didn't like it. Even though they redid it, it still didn't look like the picture I gave her but I was already incredibly late in my schedule and didn't have anymore time for her to try and fix it AGAIN so I ended up hating my hair the entire day and crying to my new husband the night of our wedding because I felt so self-conscious of how bad it looked.\r\rIf I could do it again, I would not go with Chaumette. They messed up so many things on our wedding day and caused so many headaches for me, my husband, and our families. The owner is extremely awful and so incredibly hard to work with. We thought the wedding planner they assigned to us great until she decided to not do anything she promised and leave early, leaving us to manage our entire wedding by ourselves. I was extremely disappointed and would not recommend them as a wedding venue..\r\rUpdate: Chaumette has called me to go over everything and rectify the situation by giving us a gift card or something but I explained to them I didn't want to come back because of the sour taste left in my mouth from the whole event. I will update my review again when they contact me again to potentially improve the situation.
