Chevy Chase Country Club is a wedding venue located in Wheeling, IL, just 45 minutes away from the center of Chicago. The establishment’s stylish event spaces offer intimate yet grand settings for special occasions of all types and sizes. Surrounded by a manicured golf course, the property provides a serene atmosphere and classic country club ambience for milestone events. Chevy Chase Country Club consists of several sites where you are welcome to host your ceremony and reception. Comfortably accommodating up to 500 guests, the Grand Ballroom exudes refined elegance. It features a private entrance connected to a get-ready suite where you and your wedding party can prepare prior to the celebration. With hardwood floors, expansive windows overlooking the green, and vaulted ceilings, the spacious room is ideal for an unforgettable dining and dancing experience. The ballroom opens up to an expansive outdoor terrace where your celebration can continue in the fresh air. The adjacent horseshoe bar can be used for enjoying sparkling beverages and tasty hors d’oeuvres during your cocktail hour. Another event space, the Devonshire Room, is also available and can fit up to 280 seated guests. The versatile, bright hall can be adjusted to align with your specific vision. We had our Nov 2023 at Chevy Chase. It was actually the first venue we toured and we were floored with everything that was included with the package - aka the most perfect wedding reception package EVER! They did not miss a detail. The whole night was incredible. We were in the Grand Ballroom, which has an amazing set-up for both cocktail hour and the reception with an added outdoor patio. Everyone RAVED about the food the next day and our event manager Adrian attended to our every need. I cannot recommend this venue enough!

We had our Nov 2023 at Chevy Chase. Chevy Chase Country Club was the perfect wedding venue for us! Since my husband and I are from the area, we were familiar with Chevy Chase, and decided to check them out as a wedding venue. We fell in love with the space right away, and the team is absolutely fantastic to work with. Kim worked with us throughout the planning process and she made us feel so secure with our decision to book our wedding with Chevy Chase. They really took care of everything! At our final walk through, we met with our Event Manager, Miguel, and he was incredible as well. All of the courses came out perfectly, and everyone raved about the food and service throughout the evening. Truly the most perfect venue for a wedding!

The staff was so kind and attentive; our coordinator Miguel was very easy to work with - he and his staff helped set up the room according to our vision and even brought us drinks and appetizers to our table because we were so busy during cocktail hour. I am so happy I chose Chevy Chase as the venue for my wedding. The team at Chevy Chase (Kim, Miguel, Freddy, etc.) went above and beyond to help bring our vision to life. My husband and I had our wedding in the Devonshire Room 7/1/2023 of about 200 guests and it could not have been more perfect! We did book our room 2 years in advance so we did work with a few different event managers over the years. However, even with changes in events managers, our wedding still turned out amazing and went very smoothly. About the 6 months leading up to the wedding, Kim became our main point of contact. Kim always answered any questions I had quickly and ensured to take notes of all the details for our day. The venue was very accommodating to make our vision a reality. We had the venue from 530p-1am. The food is AMAZING. We had the Duet Entree of Filet and Florentine Chicken. Guests were raving about the entree and how delicious it was and I would agree. Overall, our experience with Chevy Chase Country Club was great and I would highly recommend having your wedding here!

My daughter and her husband had a the most beautiful, perfect wedding in the Grand Ballroom, over the weekend! Staff was so wonderful to work with, and always took the time to answer many questions. My husband and I cannot recommend CCCC as your venue more. Everything went off without a hitch, including the need for the venue to be open at 8am sharp on the wedding day so as to avoid any delays. Tammy Velkova was our helper from the Sales office, and Adrian was our helper for the day of execution. Both were amazingly pleasant to work with and professional/experienced in their careers – which we were grateful for all their expertise and assistance in making our wedding day the best day I could have ever imagined.The food was delicious, and the bar is quite a sight to behold with all of their premium liquors and beautiful oval bar.We had our ceremony at CCCC in The Abbey, and it was worth every penny. ~180 people did fit, but it couldn’t have held any more people than that. We also utilized the bridal suite all day for the girls to get ready in, and it was perfect! The bathroom stalls, mirrors, chairs, closets, and sunlight all made for beautiful getting ready photos and enough space for the vendors.This venue had all the right accommodations to make this wedding our own in a timeless way. Our DJ’s got to hook up their visuals to the projectors in the Grand Ballroom reception area, and it was icing on the cake that they went above and beyond that way. Thank you, Chevy Chase for helping us make the memories of a lifetime. We will be back for whatever reasons we can come up with!If you’re on the edge about booking this venue – go see the venue for yourself, meet the beautiful friendly staff, and do it!!

I cannot recommend Chevy Chase enough! My husband and I had our wedding in the Devonshire Room here last month, and everything was perfect. We mainly worked with Kim and Tammy throughout the entire process, but everyone we interacted with was super helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. Both Kim and Tammy made the entire planning and execution seamless, and everything we envisioned came to life. Of note, they had the option to rent the entire space from 8AM that included a brunch spread in the bridal suite (SO much food), and I am glad we went with this option! The room itself is beautiful, and the outside area is even more beautiful. All of our guests raved about the stunning venue, delicious food, and impressive drinks!! We cannot thank the staff for allowing us to have the wedding of our dreams!

Our wedding at Chevy Chase was incredible! We booked the Grand Ballroom which was so spacious and absolutely stunning. The whole team was very helpful, supportive & accommodating through the whole planning process. Kim was our main contact and she did an outstanding job, our big day would not have been what it was without her. Tammy, Pam, Jan & Adrian from the team were wonderful and jumped in and helped at various points as well. We are very grateful to have gotten the chance to work with such amazing, caring people and we are so happy that this was the venue we selected. It was a marvelous day and we are still getting regular calls/ messages from our guests on how spectacular our wedding was at Chevy Chase!!

My husband and I looked at almost 20 different venues before choosing Chevy Chase. We met with Jan on our first visit and she confidently told us this would be our venue. We fell in love with the Grand Ballroom. Thankfully as our wedding was still technically off season, we had a food and beverage minimum instead of a guest count requirement. Jan handed the reigns off to Kim who answered my dozens of questions leading up to the day.The Abbey in the Grand Ballroom gives a \"church\" like feel with the vaulted ceilings and beautiful chandeliers. This was important to me to have a separate indoor ceremony space since we weren't doing a church wedding. The horeshoe bar is gorgeous and gives guests a place to step away from the music in the main reception area. The patio was a great place to take outdoor pictures since the weather was nice. The food was absolutely delicious, we received so many compliments! We did a duet plate with chicken and sirloin, roasted red potatoes, and honey glazed carrots. We also upgraded to soup and salad choosing the cream of broccoli and house salad. Peter (our day of coordinator) made sure to bring a plate of appetizers to the bridal suite because even though we planned to be inside for cocktail hour, we weren't so it was awesome he thought of that so we got to try all of the food. We chose to rent the room for the entire day and I wouldn't change a thing. Kim, Tammy, and Peter were all absolutely wonderful and I'd highly recommend Chevy Chase to all!

I just hosted our daughter’s bridal shower at Chevy chase and l couldn’t be happier it was absolutely perfect a wonderful venue fantastic Staff especially Jan and Pam they were incredible! The food was amazing l had been at a friend’s wedding a year before having our daughter’s bridal shower and the food was amazing at the wedding and it was one of the the reasons why I booked this venue for the bridal shower ! I would highly recommend this place it was fantastic!

I just hosted our daughter’s bridal shower at Chevy chase and l couldn’t be happier it was absolutely perfect a wonderful venue fantastic Staff especially Jan and Pam they were incredible! The food was amazing l had been at a friend’s wedding a year before having our daughter’s bridal shower and the food was amazing at the wedding and it was one of the the reasons why I booked this venue for the bridal shower ! I would highly recommend this place it was fantastic!

We had our baby shower in the Devonshire room at Chevy Chase and it was absolutely stunning. I highly recommend the venue for any special occasion!! The room itself is filled with so much natural light, that minimal decor is needed. We hosted a Baby Shower brunch with Mimosa bar and the food was amazing, all our guests were raving about how delicious it was (especially the omelet and prime rib station). Adrian and his staff went above and beyond, meeting our every need and ask. It's been over a week now and all our guests are still talking about how beautiful it was.

We got married in October 2022, and had the most beautiful wedding at Chevy Chase in the grand ballroom. The staff was extremely accommodating, helpful, and made our experience easy and fun. They were willing and able to do everything we wanted to make our wedding unique, including setting up a champagne table and helping us to set up a DIY photobooth. The venue itself was gorgeous, clean, and had plenty of space for all of our guests. The food was also delicious!! We got so many compliments on the space, and couldn’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else.

The venue was absolutely amazing!! You couldn’t ask for a more beautiful spot! We had our wedding in October, 2022 with 200+ guests. Out of all the vendors we used during our reception, Chevy Chase was the weak link. Pros: The venue itself is beautiful, the food was excellent, the serving & bar staff were on point. Cons: The planning process was STRESSFUL with their team. They had staff turnover, so we did not have the same representative throughout. Their weakness is proper handoffs. We weren't told who our new point of contact was, and we had to remind each new person of the most basic details of our event every time it happened.Additionally, they forgot to send us a sign up form for our food tasting and cake ordering. If we didn’t reach out to them, we never would have done the tasting. And we had to scramble to get a cake order in - their vendor (Lovin’ Oven Bakery) was very accommodating. They gave no instructions on how to set up the seating using Social Tables. No table dimensions or how they would serve our guests. They also made mistakes with seating on the day of our reception. Our wedding party and parents worked to alleviate the issues. Conclusion: Chevy Chase offers a good location to hold an event. But their management and organizational abilities are lacking. You (the coupe) needs to be on the ball with your details and have good people from your party to make your night successful. DO NOT trust their management to plan or conduct your event for you.

We were pleased with the space in the Grand Ballroom and it proved to be perfect for our 213 guests. During the initial planning I was worried as the event coordinator we were working with left her position at Chevy Chase, however; Tammy took over and it was as though we had worked with her since day one. She was very knowledgeable about the space, food tasting, and decorating options (ex: napkin colors, hanging bulbs, ceremony decor). Tammy really took her time going over the timeline for our Big Day and ensured we were all on the same page. Choosing Chevy Chase is an all-in-one decision. You get a huge bridal suite that is wonderful for pictures. We rented the suite for the whole day and were given wraps, chips, sliders, and mimosas to enjoy while we got ready. You get a ceremony space that is BEAUTIFUL, ours was the patio outside of the Grand Ballroom, the pergola was perfect for pictures, and the sunset was everything. The space for the reception is very big in the Grand Ballroom. Our guests were able to enjoy the Abbey where we had cocktail hour and our photo booth, which was away from the dance floor and bar. The food tasting was true to what we tasted then and the night of the wedding. The tasting was a fun outing for us as a couple and our parents. You and your guests will enjoy delicious food, a bar package of your choice, late night snack, and even have the hassle of picking out a cake vendor taken care of. They will also send out a floor plan which was very helpful in planning where we wanted certain guests and even certain centerpieces. The bartenders were amazing and able to keep up with all of our guests. Peter and Miguel were my go-to guys if we needed anything and were extremely kind. They were even able to accommodate a last-minute switch with our head table. On a day where chaos is bound to happen, Chevy Chase as a venue was able to provide us with peace of mind that our day would go smoothly and they delivered on that. It was the best choice we made to have our wedding there and we had an unforgettable night.

Jan & her team were so organized and made sure all of our specific requests were accounted for. Tammy and her day-of team made sure everything ran smoothly. The Chef prepared everything perfectly and everyone's dinner came out hot! We received many complements on the waitstaff, and some guests even mentioning that the bartenders were the most efficient and attentive that they had ever seen at a wedding! Chevy Chase made our wedding spectacular! We had our wedding on the patio and our reception inside the Grand Ballroom. They were very detailed for the coordination of our wedding. Kim in the sales office was a huge help and our Day of coordinator Peter, was nothing short of the GOAT. The entire serving staff including the bride and groom’s waitress Meriah, was nothing short of amazing. They were all very attentive throughout the evening and it was nice to see everything flow naturally as Peter says. The bartenders were quick, efficient, and friendly. They can definitely handle a large crowd and make sure everyone is LIT by the end of the night. The food package was great and affordable; everyone was crazy about the mashed potatoes! The bridal suite is amazing; huge space for a large bridal party. You can do hair and makeup inside the space which is hard to find. Wish Mike was a bit friendlier, attuned, and appreciative to his outstanding staff. But no worries, since he’s the supervisor you don’t have to work with him that much. Overall, Chevy Chase is a 10/10 and you should definitely have your wedding here!

**PLEASE READ- OUR BRIDAL SUITE WAS ROBBED ON 6-18-22**I saw this review going very differently when we booked this venue. To make a long story short, our bridal suite at the Devonshire was robbed during our ceremony. The venue never gave us a lock code for the room, but even if they did, they admitted that the bathroom door (which connects to the suite) was not locked, which the venue was in charge of doing. So no matter what, that person was getting in. Their contract, just like any contract you ever sign, states they are not liable for theft or loss. When we reached out to talk about the incident, Mike the manager didn't hesitate to throw this part of the contract in our face not even 24 hour after the incident. There's a difference between having a wallet stolen in the bathroom to having an entire room robbed that this venue assured us was a safe space and that they were responsible for securing and locking.I wish this to no future bride and groom!! We had to essentially beg to be compensated for their mistake. The amount they gave us was not enough for what we went through. They were cold and showed no sympathy that day. The incident was handled poorly.

We are so glad we chose this venue—we had the perfect wedding there on 6/11/22. We chose the Devonshire wedding which was perfect for 135 guests. We had the indoor wedding and they did a great job of transforming it into a dancing hall during cocktail hour. The staff was professional and accommodating. The bride has many food allergies, including celiac disease. The chef made sure to not cross contaminate any of the food and she loved the food—with no allergic reactions! We had enchanted evening as the DJ, per their recommendation, and the music was just what we wanted: A perfect mix for everyone. We had such a good time, and all of our guests loved the venue. If you're on the fence about this venue, go for it! You won't be disappointed :)

We ended up having to have our wedding indoors as opposed to outside due to the weather and I was so upset about it at first. Peter went above and beyond to ensure the venue was beautiful and that I would be happy with the changes we had to make day of. Every single person we talked with could not get over how beautiful it was and how amazing the food was. I had one guest tell me hey were sad when they had to take their last bite lol. I am so happy I selected Chevy Chase for my wedding! We had our reception in the Grand Ballroom which is incredibly beautiful and spacious. My guests raved about the room, the food, the service, and the bartenders who were incredibly fast and efficient for my 200 guests! Annie, Peter and Adrian are all amazing and were a dream team to work with. The entire planning process with Annie was flawless and my day of event coordinators Peter and Adrian were the best. They made sure everything went smoothly and as I planned. I highly recommend this venue!

I am so happy I selected Chevy Chase for my wedding! We had our reception in the Grand Ballroom which is incredibly beautiful and spacious. My guests raved about the room, the food, the service, and the bartenders who were incredibly fast and efficient for my 200 guests! Annie, Peter and Adrian are all amazing and were a dream team to work with. The entire planning process with Annie was flawless and my day of event coordinators Peter and Adrian were the best. They made sure everything went smoothly and as I planned. I highly recommend this venue!

Annie was amazing, always friendly and helpful throughout the planning process which made it way less stressful. We booked the Grand Ballroom and it was gorgeous, could not have dreamed a better wedding reception. The best part about the Grand Ballroom is the amount of space and the endless dance floor. We got all our guest on the floor! The Bridal Suite is a huge plus, beautiful for getting ready photos, and the men got to get ready in the Hunt room. Our event manager, Tammy, was really accommodating, letting us change some last minute layouts during our final check in, week of. The venue was a little over our budget but all worth it for the all-inclusive packages they offer, stunning space, and coordinated staff.

We had the wedding of our dreams! From start to finish chevy chase was incredible. The venue is beautiful and was large enough to accommodate our very big wedding of 300+ guests. Peter and Annie went above and beyond to make sure everything we wanted was accommodated. They met with us several times and any customization or request was accepted immediately. The food was absolutely incredible, and served efficiently. Portion sizes were huge! The bar is so large it not only added to the aesthetic but no one had to wait for drinks, and they were so good! You really cannot beat the quality this venue offers for the price. I would recommend this over and over again, everything went so perfectly.

Everything is broken down to make it easy to understand what you are actually paying for. We had to post-pone our wedding twice and they were very accommodating and responsive in helping us find new dates and answering our over abundance of questions. We mainly worked with Sarah, who sadly took a role at another company right before our wedding, but she was so patient, honest, and understanding with us. With switching event coordinator's so close to our date, there was some confusion, but when it came to the day of our wedding everything went by so smoothly. Their team really pulled it all together for us and it was a stress free day to say the least. Everyone had nothing but great things to say about the food. Every entre option was delicious which made it really hard to choose what we wanted to eat on the day of our wedding. Our day was nothing short of perfect for us, and I would absolutely recommend having your event at Chevy Chase.

We had the pleasure of working with Annie and Peter and I am BLOWN away by both of them. When we originally booked, we worked with a different representative, who was also amazing; but at the start of 2021 we worked with Annie. Annie is exactly what you need in an event planner. She is organized, thoughtful, understanding and is always one step ahead of what you are thinking. Annie made planning my dream wedding a possibility and I cannot thank her enough for answering every crazy question I had and calming my anxiety. We have been married for almost a month and we still hear so many positive things about our wedding including the venue and the food - which is to DIE for. We went with the Champagne Chicken and Filet and everything came out perfect from our tasting to the actual day. Between the amazing staff and beautiful venue I would absolutely recommend the Chevy Chase to all of our friends and family having events in the future.

Being a wedding planner, I have seen/worked on numerous weddings and I am not trying to be biased but Chevy Chase has hands down been the best. In all the weddings I have done, the bride and groom always receive bar service during dinner but at our wedding the whole head table received bar service. When the bar was closed the bartenders were tending to our table and our parents tables, making sure everyone was taken care of drinkwise, literally NEVER happens at any weddings I have worked. The food was great, it came out warm and was cooked to perfection. Everyone raved about it. The Grand Ballroom Patio and Bar sells itself, especially with COVID! We had a couple that backed out last minute due to concerns with COVID but were planning to attend the ceremony outdoors, once they saw the inside and how spaced out it was with 213 people they asked to stay for dinner. The staff quickly reset the table and made sure my guests were comfortable. I loved that the staff not only took care of us and our families but each one of our guests as well! Annie was amazing with all her help leading up to the wedding, she made everything seamless and made sure we were taken care of! From this day forward I will never stop preaching about how amazing my experience/wedding was at Chevy Chase and will continue to recommend it to everyone. THANK YOU so much for everything!!

We booked Chevy Chase back in July 2019 for our (originally scheduled) September 2020 wedding. Once we realized we were going to have to postpone due to Covid, the staff was very helpful and worked with us to pick a new date. My now husband and I still wanted to get married on our original date and we were able to use the patio for a short and sweet ceremony with just a handful of people.Once Illinois began to reopen, Kim and Sarah were quick to help us get the planning process started again. We were easily able to pick back up where we left off the year before. The day of the wedding was perfect in every way! Peter worked seamlessly with our planner to make sure everything was exactly as we envisioned. Our guests continue to tell us about how delicious the food was and how absolutely gorgeous the Devonshire room was! Chevy Chase was the first venue we toured after we got engaged and though other venues were nice, they all got the same “it’s just not Chevy Chase” response. Not only was it the most beautiful venue with the gorgeous wood floors (I hate the usual ugly hotel ballroom carpets at most venues) and SO many windows offering incredible views of the golf course, but Chevy Chase was very reasonably priced and included many things in their package that others did not (nicer chairs, better alcohol selections, etc.). Thanks to the whole Chevy Chase team for making our wedding day everything we dreamed of (twice!)

Our wedding day could not have been more of a dream. Planning with Kim and Jan was a great experience. Kim was extremely responsive and supportive through the entire process, I couldn't be more thankful for her! My husband and I both live in Chicago and are from the south suburbs and we opted for this northside venue and we have zero regrets. the first day we walked in we fell in love with the space. We chose the Devonshire room for our ceremony and reception for our February wedding. The inclusiveness of the package made planning for the day so easy. From the beginning you are 100% aware of all the costs and there were no last minute surprises. The food was amazing, the bar package was extensive, our guests enjoyed the wine on the table during dinner, and the cake was delicious. The time you are given for a wedding ceremony here was perfect, we did not need to coordinate an after party anywhere as our wedding went until 12:30. We had late night food served which people raved about as well! The planning meetings prior to the wedding day are so settling. They also provide you with a program to set up the layout of the day which was so easy to use! I would confirm the use of the bridal suite prior and the day of. That was the only hiccup of the day. We were told we had access to the bridal suite to get ready in that morning/afternoon. I chose to get hair and makeup done at the hotel and get dressed at the venue. When my cousin arrived to steam my dress prior to my arrival, and after my arrival, the bridal suite was being used by the event that was booked the morning of my wedding day. All in all it worked out but that would be my only suggestion. We were able to take pictures on the golf course (which turned out amazing)! I recommend Chevy Chase to everyone!

Our wedding day could not have been more of a dream. Planning with Kim and Jan was a great experience. Kim was extremely responsive and supportive through the entire process, I couldn't be more thankful for her! My husband and I both live in Chicago and are from the south suburbs and we opted for this northside venue and we have zero regrets. the first day we walked in we fell in love with the space. We chose the Devonshire room for our ceremony and reception for our February wedding. The inclusiveness of the package made planning for the day so easy. I just got married a few days ago on 02/22/20. There are literally not enough words to say how thankful I am for Checy, our sales coordinator Kim and our event manager Mihai. Every single detail from the second we toured, to the planning meeting, food tasting, rehearsal and lastly our ceremony and reception was PERFECT. My dad actually used to event DJ in college at Chevy and he, like everyone else, is blown away by the remodel. The decor is so modern and elegant. Everyone complimented the amazing food, the fun and friendly bar tenders and the attention to detail. Mihai, our event manager, could not have worked harder. He made sure every single thing was perfect and stress-free. He knows his stuff and works his tail off! The bridal suite was huge and beautiful, perfect for getting ready and taking photos. Since there wasn’t another event in the other room, we were able to use the smaller bridal suite for the guys and it worked out phenomenally. Every detail was perfect. I would recommend Chevy for all events, not just weddings. And don’t be afraid of winter weddings there just because it’s a golf course.. it was stunning!

Perfect in ways we didn’t even realize until living in the moment, and CCCC was available for us every step of the way. From the very beginning when negotiating our contract, through the tastings, preparation meetings, and even some unscheduled visits they truly went above and beyond our expectations.What we appreciated from the start was the packaged approach to their services, rather than ordering several vendors a la cart. Things like the wedding cake, holiday decorations and day of coordinator that were already included saved us time and headaches. In addition, their preferred vendors had competitive rates for things like the DJ, photo booth, flowers, and more importantly- they were very familiar with the ballroom space and how to it set up. Another impressive note is how they procured and served a special beer I like from Germany. They never heard of it before our visit, but that didn’t stop them from confirming the order only 3 days after our initial contract meeting. What I didn’t know is that a German keg there had a different tapping mechanism from American beers. But did that stop CCCC? Not at all. In fact, Peter (day of coordinator) used his local restaurant contacts to find a workaround. Just another example of how they went above and beyond our expectations!A special thanks to those we worked closely with, including Kim in the sales office, Peter with day of coordination, and Pam in the accounting office. We loved having our wedding at Chevy Chase – everyone was so great to work with, and they run events like a well-oiled machine! Kelsi was so nice to work with and helped us make sure we were all prepared for the day. She was extremely timely in answering our questions, which was appreciated. We got married in the Devonshire room, which is beautiful! We were supposed to get married outside, but it rained on our wedding day, so we got married in the Devonshire room and our guests thought it was beautiful and thought we had planned it that way anyway. Our day-of lead was Peter, and he was also so nice to work with! He did a great job organizing the décor (decor was something I was worried about given I did not have a planner), but honestly Kelsi, Peter, and Chevy Chase just have you and your wedding covered. We (groom’s fault, not Chevy Chase’s) even had a hiccup with our late-night delivery (late night delivery called the groom and the food got delivered to the groom’s house), and the groom asked Peter for help and Peter worked with the vendor to get our late-night food delivered. He really ensured everything went smoothly on the big day. Our guests really enjoyed the venue as well and commented on the beautiful room and property after the wedding. Beautiful venue, great people to work with – thank you Chevy Chase! We highly recommend Chevy Chase to our closest family and friends.

We had our reception in the Grand Ballroom and there are so many amazing things I could go on about with Chevy Chase but I’ll try to sum it up asbest as possible. Not a single thing went wrong and I didn’t stress for a single moment during our entire reception because the staff is professional, experienced and reliable. After looking at so many venues that didn’t work for either size, location or $$$ we finally toured CCCC as the last tour and just when we had been giving up on hope of finding the perfect venue, we found CCCC and signed that day!!!! Every person we worked with including Kim & Peter, was incredible and so helpful. Emails were answered quickly and questions always had an answer which 10/10 favored my wants/needs, I don’t think there was a single thing they couldn’t do for me (within reason obviously). The venue and its beauty speaks for itself, which made it so easy to decorate. The food was outstanding and the late night snack was the perfect treat for our guests. We loved the bar which was located in its own room so nowhere in the venue ever felt crowded. Location was perfect with plenty of hotels nearby. Having the event check in a few days before and dropping EVERYTHING off prior took so much weight off my shoulders and Peter set everything up exactly as discussed and truly did a perfect job. I was able to enjoy the entire night without stress and was never once taken away from the night for any issues or questions other than what drink I wanted next (lol they were on top of it!!!) Our wedding was a dream all thanks to Chevy Chase Country Club and their ability to work seamlessly with our other amazing vendors. I would have my wedding here over and over and over and will recommend to anyone.

They made us feel like we were the only wedding happening at the venue which was extremely comforting and helped with knowing that the littlest details were being taken care of and eliminated pre wedding stress. Our ceremony was initially supposed to be outside but at the last minute, thanks to mother nature, had to be set up inside. Peter and his team were excellent with handling this change and making sure that everything was executed flawlessly. I was concerned about ceremony doors that I had purchased to be staked outside in the lawn and they went above and beyond to find a solution and incorporate them in the ceremony set up. The food was amazing and we received so many compliments! The bartending staff was unlike any that I have seen at previous weddings. They were truly there to serve and absolute rockstars. They were quick and kind and paid attention to the guests and their needs. Overall, we have heard and firmly believe that our wedding exceeded every expectation and that is thanks to Chevy Chase Country Club and their staff. We highly recommend this venue!

We seriously cannot thank Chevy Chase enough! Everything was absolutely wonderful!! Kelsi and the staff made it so easy and we didn't feel like we had to worry about anything!! The food was phenomenal and the ceremony and reception spaces were beautiful - the staff did a fantastic job setting everything up!! All of our guests were commenting on how lovely the venue was (and how good the food was!!). It really was the most stress-free wedding, which is exactly what we were hoping for! Kelsi walked with us from before we even signed the contract to the week after the wedding - answering any questions we had and making sure everything was specific to us as a couple. I am so glad we used Chevy Chase as our venue and would highly recommend them to anyone!

We seriously cannot thank Chevy Chase enough! Everything was absolutely wonderful!! Kelsi and the staff made it so easy and we didn't feel like we had to worry about anything!! The food was phenomenal and the ceremony and reception spaces were beautiful - the staff did a fantastic job setting everything up!! All of our guests were commenting on how lovely the venue was (and how good the food was!!). It really was the most stress-free wedding, which is exactly what we were hoping for! Kelsi walked with us from before we even signed the contract to the week after the wedding - answering any questions we had and making sure everything was specific to us as a couple. I am so glad we used Chevy Chase as our venue and would highly recommend them to anyone!

Chevy Chase wasn't originally on our list of venues to consider, but I'm so glad my mom suggested it. With a fairly recent renovation, the Devonshire room and its 2 walls of windows was a fabulous setting for our ceremony and reception. Please excuse me while I ramble about all the great things....Jan was fabulous in the planning process. She promptly answered my numerous questions, even when she was out of office. Given that we'd never planned a wedding before, I appreciated her suggestions and advice. Cake and appetizers are included in the price. The bar selection is great. The chairs are really nice, so you don't need to pay extra to have them covered. Because our wedding was off-season we got some discounts and add-ons. The golf course and building exterior make an amazing photo backdrop. Nate, our banquet/facility manager, took care of all our random requests and specifics for where to put the decor and details we brought. In fact, all the staff we interacted with were personable and professional and helped make the day absolutely fabulous.

Jan was available whenever I needed anything via email and really took time to calm a stressed bride down! The place has been recently remodeled and is sooo beautiful! Reasonably priced and the base bar package was better than premium bar packages anywhere else. All my guests are still telling me how amazing our wedding was and it’s been 10 months since I tied the knot! I cannot day enough about the care and concern with all the staff both before and day of. I had Nikah (Islamic marriage) ceremony at Chevy Chase Country Club in their Devonshire room in December of 2018. My primary contact at Chevy Chase was Kelsi who was BEYOND phenomenal! Every step from booking, to planning, to the set up the day of the event went as smoothly as it possibly could have thanks to Kelsi and the other wonderful team members at Chevy Chase. The booking process was fairly straight forward. We went and looked at the spaced and discussed packages. Kelsi was nice enough to put our date on hold while we were still exploring our options. Approximately a month before the event date we also sent over our list of vendors as they do need to be registered at the venue. They do require all vendors, particularly caters, to be licensed and insured. The day of the event I arrived early to meet the decorator, make final adjustments on the setup, and to get my makeup done. The staff that oversaw the set up was incredibly nice and accommodating! I was going through usual wedding day jitters but they took care of everything without me having to lift a finger!I was able to get ready in their AMAZING bridal ready room. It was the perfect place for me to just sit and relax for a few minutes before getting back into the craziness of the day. Throughout the event, the staff was totally on schedule by putting the food out, cleaning up, and ultimately wrapping things up at the end of the night. They were always one step ahead and prepared for anything they came their way.The only piece of feedback I would give is I wish they were a bit more flexible with the days they allow for outside catering. As of right now, Chevy Chase only allows for outside catering on Sundays. I completely understand why this is the case; however, the flexibility would be nice. Indian/Pakistani events are always huge on food so we were unable to stick to the in house catering. Perhaps if they were able to partner with different kinds of vendors or expand their outside catering policy we could have more options. Again, I completely understand why the current policy is in place, it would just be nice to have the option. Overall, I would recommend anyone thinking of having their event at this venue to totally go for it with complete confidence that your event will go off without a hitch!

My wife and I knew if we asked for something in a planning meeting, email or in passing it was going to be above our expectations. Planning our wedding with Jan and Jonathan felt like having lunch with friends rather than tedious wedding planning because they were so warm, excited for us and reliable! We went back and forth between getting married in the city and suburbs and could not be happier with the choice to host our wedding at CCCC. If you are looking for the perfect venue in the suburbs, this is it. The space allowed for our guests of all ages to enjoy the dance floor, outdoor space, incredible food, a beautiful bar. Words cannot express how much I LOVED working with Chevy Chase Country Club for our wedding. From the first meeting with Jan, my now husband, and I knew CCCC was the choice for us. We got married August 18, 2018...a popular wedding day this year! We were initially planning for a fall wedding, but as soon as we heard they had an opening that day, we had to snatch it. The venue itself is beautiful, and the team at CCCC is just remarkable. Jan, the ring leader, made sure all of our needs were always met. Communication with the team was always a breeze, as they never missed a call or email. Responding so efficiently made us feel at ease as we planned our special day. Jon was our first hand in command during the day of. I felt bad because you can definitely tell he was running around EVERYWHERE to make sure EVERYTHING was perfect for us. Just shows how hardworking these people are. I seriously cannot say enough positive comments about this place. The food was amazing, I had some guests tell us that it was the best wedding meal they have ever had! We chose the salmon with dill sauce and the sirloin in a truffle sauce...YUM! My husband and I have been joking that we just want to go back and have dinner there sometime, it was just that good. Our wedding was out on the first tee, behind the Devonshire Room. Perfect place. Enough shade, beautiful background, easy to get to. We even had my dad drive me out in a golf cart...how fun and unique! We then had our reception inside the Devonshire Room. This room is absolutely stunning! We had about 160 guests and the room was able to accommodate everyone comfortably. It's been about almost 2 weeks since our wedding and I am still so starstruck by Chevy Chase Country Club. From the team, to the food, to everything...it was just absolutely perfect. We got married on the gorgeous golf course and had our reception in the beautiful Devonshire Room. It was everything we envisioned for our wedding day. None of this would have been possible without the amazing staff at Chevy Chase. Everyone made us feel like the most important people. No details went unnoticed. We worked with Kelsi throughout the planning process. She’s professional, responsive, and accommodating. As an anxious bride, she put up with all my crazy questions with ease! When Postmates didn’t deliver our late night snack we had ordered, Nate had pizzas for all our guests within 30 minutes. This guy really knows how to make sure a wedding day goes smoothly. I cannot say enough good things about everyone at Chevy Chase. I’ll certainly be keeping them all in mind for future events! Thank you Chevy Chase!!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Chevy Chase. It was absolutely incredible. It honestly could not have been more perfect. We got married on the gorgeous golf course and had our reception in the beautiful Devonshire Room. It was everything we envisioned for our wedding day. None of this would have been possible without the amazing staff at Chevy Chase. Everyone made us feel like the most important people. No details went unnoticed. We worked with Kelsi throughout the planning process. She’s professional, responsive, and accommodating. As an anxious bride, she put up with all my crazy questions with ease! We got married in the Grand Ballroom and everything turned out gorgeous. We used uplighting/drapery to cover up the green curtain which really brightened the space. The outside patio is beautiful and very scenic. The food was also very good as well, we ran out of desserts and late night food very quickly! The day-of was great, especially with the event coordinator there the day-of to handle the logistics.The main negative here is the planning beforehand and communication. Organization seemed to be an issue as the event coordinator team forgot we had appointments, forgot that we are not local (and therefore could not easily come back in the chat about plans), forgot to \"reply all\" in emails for the entire year and half of exchanges, and it took no less than 10-12 versions of the final invoice to get it right. We caught many errors in the quantity of items, charges that weren't supposed to be there, and even spelling my name wrong only a month before the final payment. All in all I would definitely go back to Chevy Chase for the wedding, and my advice would is to be very diligent in looking though the details of the planning, and sending reminders for appointments and meetings. Everyone was friendly and I did trust that all would be perfect for the day of, so I am overall a happy customer.

I could not have been more pleased with CCCC for our wedding in June 2018 in the Grand Ballroom. We had a vision to change the room from the normal use and Jan and staff were always on board. Chevy Chase Country Club is a perfect wedding venue. Our daughter’s reception was beautiful. Jan is wonderful to work with. We recently had our wedding at Chevy Chase and I cannot say enough GREAT things about the venue and staff! Jan and Kelsi were so helpful throughout the whole process and were quick to answer any questions we had and accommodate all of our requests. Nick (food and beverage director) was also amazing to work with for all our beverage wishes -- our night would not have been complete without our favorite whiskey and prosecco :) lastly, our day of coordinator/event manager, Nate, made the day stress-free and go off without a hitch!Our wedding had 300 guests, so naturally, we were concerned with food being hot, cooked correctly, the service of drinks, etc. and they EXCEEDED our expectations! We received SO many compliments about the food being perfect (thank you Chef Oscar!), which is hard to do. The bartenders were AMAZING with their quick service and making sure no one went dry -- they worked so hard and it was very much appreciated and didn't go unnoticed. All in all, Chevy Chase goes above and beyond! We are so happy we chose them as our venue and would do it a million times over, if we could! Thank you to everyone at Chevy Chase for making our day perfect!

Chevy Chase is overall a fantastic venue. Our guests loved our wedding. The food and the drinks were fabulous, and the grounds and amazingly beautiful!!!! Jan, Kelsi, and staff were all very friendly and helpful and VERY COMMUNICATIVE through the whole process. The only thing I would say is that the event staff needs more help! It is fabulous that CC has tripled their business over last year, and even though our issues were swiftly remedied, I felt bad for the staff. They are doing the best they can but are clearly needing more help. I hope the owner sees this and hires more help. Thank you so much to Jan, Kelsi, and everyone who helped our wedding come to life!

We just had our wedding at Chevy Chase last weekend. Everything went incredibly smooth. Kelsi and Jonathan were both very responsive and accommodating throughout the entire process. We've received several compliments from our guests with how friendly the bar staff and servers were. Chevy Chase was recently remodeled, had great food (we chose chicken for our guests), service was spectacular, and the scenery in mid-May was awesome for pictures. Pricing was right around other places we looked at. Would highly recommend.

We had our wedding at Chevy Chase in September and we would highly recommend it!!! It was amazing! We were in the Devonshire room which is breathtaking. You can't beat the newly updated decor of the room. The windows looking out onto the course just put it over the top. And the fact that the room comes with Chivari chairs is huge and really makes such a difference making the reception look elegant and modern. Every other venue we looked at charged at minimum $10 per chair to upgrade, this is a huge cost savings! The patio was also amazing to have! Our guest spent the entire cocktail hour on the patio, it was gorgeous at sunset. We also put luminaries out at dark and our guest loved it! It was a great option for our guest who didn't like to dance to be able to sit and talk. The course itself is beautiful too! We took photos with my husband and I, our bridal party, and large family photos and it couldn't be a more beautiful backdrop. The food was incredible and we still have people telling us how good their meal was! Chef Oscar does an amazing job. We were so impressed when we went for our tasting which he also made a very special day. We brought along our parents and he truly made this a special dinner. The day of we were so happy, the food tasted just like it did on our tasting and it was amazing! We decided to add an ice cream bar to the night which was a huge hit! Everyone was really excited and it was a great break for everyone on the dance floor. We also at their suggestion served cake on a side table instead of passing it around to each table. We were so glad for this suggestion, everyone was able to snack on the cake throughout the night and many people were able to take multiple pieces!The staff is just incredible. Jan was so helpful and more than willing to answer all of our questions as we went through planning. She was highly organized and we fully trusted her that everything on the day of would be taken care of. She truly went above and beyond. I found out after the wedding, half of my family came to our cocktail hour an hour and a half early! The course and club room were not open on our wedding day and a few family members were quite huffy about this not being open. Jan swooped in and saved the day and got them drinks from the bar early. We couldn't be more thankful she took care of this situation for us. Our day of staff member Nick was fantastic and made everything go off without a hitch. The entire staff at Chevy Chase are experts and were able to offer great suggestions for logistics and made the timing of everything on the day of work seamlessly. All in all, we'd have our reception at Chevy Chase again in a heartbeat!!! They are amazing!!! Thank you Jan, Nick and Chef Oscar!

It is a beautifully appointed, spacious room that is very easy to decorate and arrange. The views of the golf course are an added bonus. Jan and her staff work with you one on one to offer suggestions for meals, presentation, and room arrangements that will enhance your party.
