Childress Vineyards is a romantic wedding venue located in Lexington, NC. This sprawling winery features over 70 acres of vineyards and is one of the leading winemakers in the area. Established in 2004, NASCAR team owner Richard Childress decided to make his lifelong dream of owning a vineyard a reality. Since his days living and racing in California, Richard has produced award-winning wines and hosted joyous occasions at his breathtaking estate. Childress Vineyards has multiple sites for wedding ceremonies and receptions, including the Grand Pavilion, the back lawn, the courtyard, and a covered gazebo, meaning beautiful events can occur all year round. The lawn and courtyard areas can be an excellent location for your vow exchange with dramatic backdrops, from sunrise to sunset. The private estate can also accommodate up to 300 guests, with plenty of parking available. A wedding at Childress Vineyards is sure to be a memorable experience, ideal for those interested in fine wines and a tranquil atmosphere. The vineyard offers three wedding packages at various price points, including equipment, such as round banquet tables, chairs, linens, tableware, cutlery, and glassware. These packages also include access to the getting-ready suite with the option for a mimosa bar. Professional wait and bar staff will be on hand to ensure you have a joyous time on your special day. Additionally, the team is happy to provide four lucky guests with a complimentary tasting of their most popular wines. You and your partner may also discuss your vision and budget with the Events Manager to ensure a smooth and successful event.

We worked with Sarah to plan out our wedding at Vineyards as well as our rehearsal dinner the night before. This is such a beautiful place!! We had been to the winery several times before looking into it as our wedding venue. The process was very simple and the packages/invoices/contracts were easy to understand. The night before and of our wedding, the waitstaff was absolutely a delight and the food was the die for! My entire family commented on the crew both nights.

I would give Childress 100 stars if I could. We planned our wedding from the state of Alabama. From the time we took a tour until the send off on our wedding night, Childress has been nothing short of perfect. We had the privilege of working with Suzanne. She walked us through a detailed check list to make sure every angle was covered. We had family design and cover our reception decor and Childress staff supported them every step of the way. I am overjoyed that we selected Childress and I encourage everyone else to as well.

I would give Childress 100 stars if I could. We planned our wedding from the state of Alabama. The banquet room was decorated with their beautiful wooden tables and was dimly lit which made for an intimate setting for us to to be with our closest family and friends before the big day. The food was delicious, wine was great and the service and help we received throughout the planning process was outstanding.

My husband and i had our wedding ceremony and reception here in July. Childress was the first and only venue we've looked at. ;) The scenery is beautiful and needless to say, we didn't need any decor for our ceremony outside by the steps. The way leading up to steps is gorgeous and it had roses bloomed along side. I felt like a princess coming down the steps while my husband sang to me. Amy and her staffs are very attentative and accomadating. She was very responsive to my emails and to my other vendors. Honestly once I narrowed down all my vendors and gave Amy the list of them, she took it from there. I didn't need to hire a wedding planner other than the day-of director. For our reception, we had stationed appetizer for social hour then plated dinner. Food was exceptional! The chef and server staffs did a great job. I was very happy with it. I've gotten our pictures and videos back and am still very happy with our venue choice. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking to have a elegant yet nature - filled wedding.

Amy and her staff create a calm, comfortable, collaborative process to ensure everything goes perfectly on your day (you can tell they have done this a time or two)! Childress itself creates a dreamy setting for any wedding. They truly have everything you need in close proximity for your big day. A lovely hotel is on site for out of town guests to stay, bridal/groomsmen suites are available, and if you are like us you can have your wedding outide on the grounds and then move right inside to the banquet hall for the reception. It was perfect! No driving, no directions, and most importantly, no one calling the day of saying they were lost! So glad we had the pleasure of working with this vendor for our big day! Would highly recommend if you want stress free planning that leads to a perfectly beautiful day!

We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding day! Childress is the perfect venue and we love that we can come back to the place we said our vows anytime. Amy is the wedding coordinator and she was SO easy to work with. She really helped guide us through the process and made sure everything happened just like we wanted. We received countless compliments throughout our reception on how beautiful the venue was, how good the food and wine was, and how hard the staff was working. You could tell the staff was well trained and knew what to do when. Everyone tells you \"something will go wrong\" and to expect it, but not one thing went wrong on our wedding day and it was definitely thanks to Childress and staff. The venue is absolutely beautiful and the reception room was everything we had asked for. We also got some amazing wedding photos in the vineyard. You will always remember the details of your wedding day, and Childress made ours perfect.

We chose Childress because it was a special place that meant a lot to us and we were willing to travel from Raleigh to make it work! It is also an incredibly stunning venue! Amy Parrish, the event coordinator, was accommodating beyond belief! She was great at collaborating with us on every single detail and was highly organized and professional-definitely qualities that I needed in someone coordinating the wedding! The banquet staff and Chef were also fantastic, we were so happy that we chose this venue!

We chose to hold our rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception at Childress for convenience to all our guests. Everything went perfectly. Ashley Frye was extremely easy to work with and met with us several times to discuss things down to the tiniest details. The food was delicious and the staff made throwing a wedding look easy. The setting was beautiful. I would definitely recommend Childress Vineyards! Cost estimate includes everything from rental of the facility, food, wine, etc.

We both wanted a vineyard wedding and once you lay eyes on the Childress propert, not to mention the extremely warm, very engaging and super friendly staff, we knew this was it! \rWe live in NYC, so we knew all planning would be a bit of a challenge, from afar. Although, my main contact, Amy Parrish, always helped to make me feel at ease. She is extremely organized, efficient, and gracious, definitely on top of her game at all times. \rShe is their main even specialist, who also coordinates with the food & wine director, Krimson Wilson and also with Chef David, who are all very accomadating and highly professional. Amy really let me be as detail orientied as I felt, & she offerred advice when I asked..& when she saw it was needed. I really appreciated this. This team at Childress made helped to ensure that not only the wedding day was as beautiful and what I had been envisioning for months, but their execution on that day and the impeccable service was what truly impressed me. I learned throughout all of this that at the end of the day, if I could look at arounf the room & see smiling faces having a wonderful time, then that was what we had set out to accomplish! I loved Childress Winery. The site is breathtaking, and the staff go above and beyond what is expected of them. My wedding went perfectly all thanks to Amy and the rest of the Childress Staff. Their goal is to make sure you get exactly what you want. I have no complaints and I never had issues with them. If you are in the Triad area, this is THE place to get married.

Unfortunately it rained on my wedding day. The ceremony was suppose to be outside. Despite the thunderstorm, the venue had a great lobby that made the ceremony romantic and intimate. Great location with multiple places for rainy back up plans.
