City Club was the best venue we could have ever chosen! They have a coordinator on site (Ashley) who handles pretty much everything! Which was a blessing for a bride like me who did not want to pick out every little detail like table cloths and chairs etc. They provided the food which was DELICIOUS, the bartenders, alcohol and they even helped pass out my late night snack Judice Inn burgers. They were soo accommodating with all of my requests and Ashley was able to recommend some vendors for me (I used her recommendations for the photo booth and wedding planner and loved both!!) They made my life and wedding planning so stress free. And they were so laid back. They recently renovated the ballroom during covid with new paint and beautiful chandeliers. We had around 350 guests in the ballroom and placed the food in the room across the lobby and everyone fit comfortably. We even got a free stay at the carriage house the night of the wedding which was so convenient because it is walking distance. Cant recommend City Club enough!!

What a lovely venue! As the matron of honor for my sister’s wedding, we wanted a smooth process for the bride and wedding party which is exactly what we received. If you're looking for a magical and first class wedding reception, then City Club at River Ranch is the place to be! My daughter's wedding reception was absolutely beautiful and in her words, \"It was just perfect and we would not have changed anything\". Ashley at City Club was very helpful with question that we had from beginning to end. She was prompt in returning our phone calls and always open to meet with us at anytime, even on Saturdays since my daughter and fiance lived in Houston. The band had plenty of space to set up their stage and the food was delicious! From Houston to home in Lafayette, everyone said that it was the most magical and beautiful wedding reception and so much FUN!!! I highly recommend city club. The coordinator, Ashley, who handles just about everything, was truly a blessing to a type A bride. She made sure my experience stayed stress free and made my special day just absolutely perfect. She always responded to me promptly regarding anything with wedding. The food was incredible and something people still are talking about months later. The bartenders worked efficiently that kept the bar line short which allowed my guest to dance the night away! Truly recommend going to city club, you won’t regret it!

What can I say about City Club venue and staff except wow, exceptional. The venue was perfect and the staff wonderful. I did not have to worry about a single thing all night. I was able to enjoy my daughter and son in laws reception. Ashley, Trevor and all the staff went above and beyond to make this night nothing short of spectacular. I cannot praise City Club enough for making my wedding day absolutely perfect. Even before booking them, they made me feel like every thing was taken care of. Jennifer, Ashley and the entire staff made me feel so at ease, I never had to worry about anything. Despite the concerns of COVID and making the decision to postpone for a short while, they continued to support me and answer any questions I had. THE WEDDING ITSELF: every guest that came said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. The food, service and location was just perfect. It was everything I dreamed of and more. I can’t think Jennifer and Ashley enough for going above and beyond to make it happen.

My daughter got married in Lafayette and we had the rehearsal dinner and reception at City Club. From the very beginning phases of planning a year ago, we were incredibly impressed. Jennifer was ALWAYS available for questions and concerns and always made sure we had answers. She NEVER hesitated with any requests and went above and beyond to help us make these events successful. I cannot truly describe how professional everyone was: from the cleaning staff, to the coordinator, to the servers, etc. Everyone was more than willing to help make things go as smoothly as they needed to go. The night of the actual event, Ashley also went above and beyond my expectations! She made sure that everything was taken care of and if there were any concerns, she took care of them! All of our other vendors (florist, photographer, videographers, DJ, etc.) also verbalized just how awesome their experience was as well!! AND THE FOOD... OH MY GOODNESS.. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I HIGHLY recommend City Club for your upcoming wedding/reception. We have absolutely no regrets... my only regret was that our night had to come to an end.

I don’t even know where to start. Our original wedding date was May 9, 2020. 35 days before our date, the country shut down due to covid. Jennifer at City Club was truly a God send for us. She was the most flexible, understanding, positive person and I’ll love her forever for sticking with us. We finally tied the not on February 6, 2021 and boy was it worth the wait. Ashley was amazing as our coordinator and Jennifer......I really just can’t put into words how much I appreciate and loved working with her!

Fantastic job by Jennifer, Ashley, and the City Club staff for our wedding on Oct 16, 2020. It was everything I wanted! We had an evening wedding outdoors in the gazebo and our reception was in the Evangeline Room. The atmosphere outside in the square at night was gorgeous—our wedding guests are still talking about it! The service and food (gumbo, potato salad, green salad, and desserts) were better than we even expected! City Club did their best to accommodate my vision for our special day and make all the little details perfect. And if you are debating whether or not to rent the Bridal Suite... DO IT! It was one of my favorite parts of the wedding day, to hang out in such a beautiful place with my family and friends.

We had the most perfect and beautiful wedding in the 1100 Room at City Club at River Ranch. It was all I had hoped and more. The 1100 Room is small but intimate and romantic. Rodney did the most amazing job with flowers. We could smell the flowers when walking in for the wedding. Candle light and a Violinist made the room romantic. Only wish I could relive it.Jennifer and Ashley were such a delight to work with. They made everything run smoothly and without stress. Photos by Robby came out great. City Club at River Ranch is the best place for a wedding in Lafayette. We live in Denver and had to rely on Jennifer and Ashley to bring this all together and they did a fantastic job.

Everything was perfect at City Club. We originally rented out the ballroom but then switched to the Bar and Grill so that we could have the outside patio, due to COVID-19 restrictions. The coordinator took care of everything! She found me and brought me drinks all night. She told us when it was time to walk, cut cake, take certain pics, etc. We even decided that night to do the money dance and she had pins ready! The food was delicious. Guests went back for multiple servings. I had the fried fish, shrimp, chicken, pasta, Carving meat table, meat pie, and seafood gumbo. It was all so good. The lights were dim and the venue felt magical. I would highly recommend for any bride for their special wedding day.

If there were a way to give more than five stars I would. Our June 18th Rehearsal Dinner at the 1100 Room at City Club Was the perfect event every Bride and Groom deserves to kick off their Wedding weekend. Planning the event with Jennifer was an enjoyable experience. She was there each step of the way to respond to any questions and concerns we had. She is truly a professional at what she does and will make this a memorable experience. On the night of the dinner Ashley and Trevor were there making sure every detail was carried out to perfection. Juan the bartender made everyone feel right at home with their drink request. The next night the reception was simply amazing Ashley, Trevor and Juan were repeating their efforts from the night before. The food and ambiance were flawless. If you are in the Lafayette area there is no better place than City Club River Ranch to have your wedding and the Carriage House is the perfect place to get ready and take photos for the big event.

I cannot express enough my sincere gratitude to Jennifer & Ashley, as well as all of the staff at City Club, who helped to ensure that Katelyn & Cameron has all of their wedding day visions come to life. June 19,2020 right in the middle of COVID 19, they still made sure every detail from their Rehearsal Dinner at The 1100 Club, Bridal Suite at Carriage House Hotel to the Reception in the Ballroom. The Venue, service and food were all first class.Our family & guest will be talking about this for many years to come. I would refer this venue over & over again. Thank you again for helping to make all of Katelyn's wishes for her Wedding Day come true! I truly look forward to working with you both in the future since we still have 2 daughters to go!! We had our rehearsal dinner, and reception at City Club. The team was absolutely wonderful to work with! We told them what we wanted, and they made it happen. Anywhere from special sprinkles for desserts, to accomidating severe allergies they made it all happen. We had a ton of compliments on the food and overall service. They were so sweet and checked on my husband and I to make sure we had enough to eat and drink, and making sure the AC was okay. At the end of the night all of our belongings and food were brought up to our hotel room ready for us. I cannot recommend them enough! They were an absolute delight to work with!

I worked with Jennifer for all the planning - she made everything so easy - knew what questions to ask so that I didn't forget anything. Lots of planning and the wedding was spectacular. Everyone loved the 1100 room. They all raved about the food - just spectacular. Service was great. We had just the right amount to make sure everyone was happy. Ashley was super at day of event assistance. The event was very special with only 40 ppl. Intimate and romantic. Thank you to the entire team for making the day special - PS Hotel is average. City Club was perfect.

Fabulous and Stress Free is the best way to describe my daughter's wedding at the City Club at River Ranch. Before the ceremony we stayed in the Bridal Suite at the Carriage House. It was very spacious with a kitchen/dining area, 2 living areas and 2 bathrooms (one downstairs and one upstairs). We were all very comfortable preparing for the big event. Ashley Trahan (wedding coordinator) checked on us several times to make sure all our needs were met. The men enjoyed passing time in their own condo at the Carriage House which was very comfortable and had ample room to accommodate them. Pictures were taken in the beautiful courtyard which was just a short walk from the Bridal Suite. The lush landscaping provided a picturesque backdrop for many photographs. The Eleven Hundred Club provided an intimate setting for the wedding ceremony and accommodated our small gathering of wedding guests. The Grill and Bar was beautifully decorated for the reception. All my daughter had to do was add a few personal touches of her own. There was plenty of room to dance and enjoy the music. The room also had access to a patio area outside which many guests used and enjoyed. Ashley was always available with a friendly smile to answer any questions or fulfill a request. Donovan Broussard (the chef) and his staff prepared some delicious food. Many guests commented on how good the food was. The staff were professional and attentive to details and always available to assist us in anyway. All in all it was a wonderful experience and will hold many happy memories for those that attended.

Perfect for us! Our ceremony was held in one of the indoor venues, with the reception following in the Grill & Bar. The space was elegant, classy, and just perfect for our group. The Grill & Bar has a beautiful patio that overlooks Town Square where guests can escape the music for a bit for a nice conversation. Food was PHENOMENAL!! Our guests are still talking about. The staff was so helpful and professional and definitely helped in making memories for a lifetime. City Club was the BEST decision for us.

City Club’s venue and staff far exceeded any and all expectations we had during my best friends wedding! Not only were the accommodations at the Carriage House extremely clean and convenient for getting ready during the day, the staff was consistently on top of details and making sure we were taken care of during the entire process. While the bride and groom took photos post ceremony, the bridal party was catered to during the wait, as well as during the reception. The venue was first class, and City’s Clubs preferred vendors went above and beyond decorating and catering to the event! By far one of the best and most delicious food selections I have experienced during a wedding! Thoroughly impressed and highly recommended :)

This place is absolutely AMAZING! The ballroom is newly painted with new carpet and it is a stunning venue for a reception! We planned to have our ceremony outside but at the last minute we changed our minds and the staff didn’t miss a beat! They changed our ceremony to inside and it was perfect because it ended up pouring down! The staff was there for us every step of the way and were beyond helpful. They made sure we always had whatever we needed throughout the planning process and especially the day/night of wedding. I couldn’t have chosen a better venue for our ceremony and reception. The food, drinks and staff are exceptional! 10/10 recommend city club at river ranch for a wedding!

My husband and I live in San Diego, CA so when we first started talking about having a wedding across the country in Lafayette, LA I was freaking out! After looking around for venues, we decided on City Club. Jennifer Foreman, the Director of Sales, graciously guided us through the planning process and made planning the wedding reception details a joy. Her prompt response time, professional attitude, and honest feedback was great! We did eventually hire a wedding planner to assist with the day-of wedding timeline, but Jennifer helped me make many decisions along the way. We got great feedback from our guests on the food that was provided as well. It is a bit pricier than other places in Lafayette, but you are paying for so much more than a room to have your reception. There are so many things you cannot plan when you are preparing for a wedding so my advice is to invest in reliable vendors who you know will do whatever they can to make you happy.

City Club was the best wedding decision we made, hands down! Two months before our wedding, we ended up needing a last minute change of reception venue. I was in panick mode, contacting every venue I could find. Jennifer with City Club called me within an hour and we were able to go see and book the 1100 Room the next day! I wish we had gone with City Club from the beginning. We had a small wedding, and the 1100 Room was so beautiful, affordable, and our guests are still raving about the food! Every City Club staff member we met was so kind, helpful, and professional. I can’t say enough about the wonderful experience we had, and how grateful we are to be able to look back on our beautiful wedding reception. We will always treasure the memories we made that night and remain grateful to City Club for making it happen!

My daughter's wedding ceremony, reception, and rehearsal dinner were all held at City Club (9/22/18). Since we weren't members of City Club, I wasn't sure how we would be received when we visited the venue. From our very first meeting with Jennifer Foreman, it was obvious that we were right where we needed to be! We felt so comfortable AND welcomed. She listened to what we had in mind and offered many great suggestions and options. I was thrilled that I didn't have to worry about renting tables, chairs, linens, etcetera since that was all included. We wanted to keep things convenient for everyone (especially for the groom's family, who were from out of town) and also stay within our budget. It was basically like having 4 venues in one, all within steps of each other! And each one has its own distinct ambiance and look, so you didn't feel like you were \"repeating\". We used the spacious bridal suite at the Carriage House for the girls to spend the day getting ready together, and several of us booked rooms there for the weekend so we didn't have to worry about driving anywhere. In the long run, it was money well spent. The rehearsal dinner was held in the elegant 1100 Room. The room is beautiful enough, and we just added a few pictures, flowers and candles to personalize it. The food and the service were fabulous. Better than many restaurants I've been to. Although our plans were to have the wedding ceremony outdoors under the gazebo, Mother Nature suggested otherwise. So we moved the ceremony indoors to the Evangeline Ballroom. It wasn't what we had initially envisioned, but it turned out to be beautiful and actually much more intimate. Ashley and Jennifer made the transition seem so smooth, and handled everything. Our reception followed in the Fleur de Lis Ballroom. In addition to the more traditional wedding food, we also added one of the groom's favorites...a pizza bar. And instead of a groom's cake, he wanted a donut wall. The glass donut wall (rented from City Club) filled with Meche's donuts was classy yet fun. Our guests repeatedly expressed how beautiful the venue was, how good the food was, and how much they enjoyed themselves. The bride and groom were able to have a few moments to dine privately before making their grand entrance into the ballroom. And it was one heck of a party! We didn't run out of food or drink (every MOB's concern, especially here in Cajun country!) and there were servers to clean up any mess. All too quickly it seemed that it was time to send the couple off to begin their life as Mr. & Mrs. And as they headed off to the honeymoon suite (which was also included) I'll never forget the hug from my son-in-law and daughter as she whispered in my ear, \"Thanks so much, Mom. This really was THE best day ever.\" Thank you Jennifer, Ashley, and the entire staff of City Club for making it as stress free as possible, so that I could enjoy it too. Five stars just don't seem enough!

Where can I even begin? From our first meeting with Jennifer, we felt incredibly confident this was the venue for us. We held our rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception at City Club and had several guests that stayed at the Carriage House. Although the venue was stunning we didn’t choose City Club because of the building - we chose it because of the people who work in it. That goes for every single person that had a hand in both days. I may not remember every second of that day, but I will never forget how special I felt because of the staff. Jennifer and Ashley answered question after question throughout the process and genuinely made me feel like I was the only bride they were working with - their attention to detail was incredible. We wanted a pizza bar and a donut wall - they made it happen.With rain threatening our ceremony, the staff worked with all of our vendors to come up with plan A, B and C. Without hesitation, we knew they would make the best possible decision. The weather didn’t hold, and the City Club staff made our plan B the most beautiful ceremony space in about half an hour - our day was perfectly imperfect and was beyond anything we could have imagined. The value of having the knowledgeable staff was worth every cent, so if you are in the market for a venue for any event we can not recommend them enough.

Complete professionals! We prepared our out of state wedding in Lafayette from Scottsdale, Arizona and we were impressed by how well Jennifer stayed in touch with us regarding the menu items and venue coordination. It was an offsite reception and she was very accommodating and organized and even had Ashley, a sales coordinator, there to help out during the wedding reception and we can't say enough about her as well, she went above and beyond, which included helping to bustle my dress! My now sister-in-law had her reception at City Club at River Ranch a year before our wedding and we raved about their food which is why we chose them as our vendor. Seriously, it was that good! Our guests said the same thing to us after the wedding. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for incredible food and service.

My wedding reception was everything I dreamed of and more! I am so happy I decided on City Club and Jennifer and Ashely made the entire reception planning process so easy and fun. Jennifer was extremely helpful and always responded to my emails promptly. Ashley made sure everything flowed smoothly the night of our reception and I honestly don't know what I would have done without her. All of our wedding guests raved about how wonderful all the food was and how beautiful the venue was. I may be a little biased, but I couldn't agree more! I can not say enough good things about City Club and would recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect reception venue. We had our rehearsal dinner off site in Morgan City and were so pleased that we chose City Club. All of our entrees were delicious, and the servers were very professional. To make our table just a little more special, they made fleurs-de-lis out of our linen napkins! They were placed with the menu which was personalized at each guest 's seat.Jennifer worked with us and printed our menus on gold card stock which was part of our color scheme. They looked beautiful! Jennifer was always available and prompt in returning emails and calls. We also had a bar set up which worked wonderful. If you need an off site caterer , I highly recommend City Club!

I had my wedding reception in the Fleur de Lis Ballroom and it was absolutely PERFECT! From the beginning of the journey to the end, Jennifer & Ashley made it so fun and enjoyable! It was so organized and stress-free. They thought of things we wouldn't have thought of! It's amazing to see everything you've been planning, come together all on one night. We received so many compliments after about how fun and beautiful the wedding was. The food was also a big hit! My husband and I loved how we got to have a private dinner during the reception. It was a great way to sit down and soak in the moment. I could go on and on about the night! All in all, it was the most perfect wedding day and if you book with city club I know you will not regret it.

From the very first meeting my daughter and I had with Jennifer to tour the venue over a year ago my daughter knew immediately City Club was where she wanted their wedding reception to be. Jennifer was beyond amazing throughout the whole process of planning the wedding reception. It was above and beyond what I would have ever expected!! Wedding week came and she was so comforting to me and my daughter. She went above and beyond reaching out to us during that week and so many times before. We truly feel like we gained a friend through this whole process. We booked the bridal suite also for that day which was absolutely amazing and highly recommend! Walking into the reception that night and seeing the whole year of planning come together was so touching, it was everything we hoped it to be and more! Ashley was beyond amazing that night taking care of everything. We did not want for anything!! I cannot recommend this venue enough! I have no doubt even though our wedding is over this will not be the last time we deal with City Club and Jennifer and Ashley:)

I dreamed of my wedding day since I was a little girl. First of all, to find the price charming, which I definitely exceeded in. Then to find the dress, which was a dream in itself. But finally, I dreamed of the place where we would dance our first dance, toast our champagne, eat the first bite of cake, and make memories that would last a lifetime. From the moment I talked to Jennifer, who handles all of the events at City Club, I felt an instant connection. She was kind, bubbly, genuine, and so informative! And then, I had the chance to walk into the ballroom and my dream came to life! The Fleur De Lis Ballroom is an extraordinary room with elegant chandeliers, the perfect size dance floor, and classy gray and white decor. It really is the perfect room for any occasion, especially receptions! And not to mention the food and open bar were exceptional and very well received! I kept getting compliments that the food was incredible and not your normal/average wedding food. Also, the service that City Club offers is outstanding! There were never dirty dishes left on the tables, and the staff was readily available to help with anything you needed. I just can't say enough about how perfect this venue was and always will be! My daughter was recently married (Friday Dec 15) with the reception at the City Club. We have been working with Jennifer Foreman for the past year, with each and every visit very organized and most importantly, with a true caring from the heart. She made us feel so special and was so patient with all our questions. As a first time MOB, I had to be more in tune with details. Her suggestions and information were wonderful from the initial venue offerings to the final tastings. The food was fantastic, the open bar was very well received, everyone was happy! She even came by our table late into the night to offer me anything....even a glass of water! I would highly recommend this lovely lady and her staff for any upcoming venues! Thank you again, Jennifer, for making this day so special. I wish we could do it all over again!

I can't say enough good things about City Club. There are multiple options to chose from there to fit almost anyone's wedding needs. We chose to have our ceremony in the Evangeline Room and our reception in the Bar & Grill. The Evangeline room was the perfect size and space for our ceremony. We loved the Bar & Grill's atmosphere for the reception. We didn't add any decor other than flowers for the tables and it was absolutely perfect. We had a wide variety of guests at our wedding and everyone loved the food. Wedding planning was so easy with Jennifer and Ashley's help. They walk you through the entire process on their side and even make suggestions if needed for vendors. Take their advice! They know what they are doing and are extremely professional. We used their DJ and Cake vendor suggestions and those vendors did NOT disappoint! The least stressful part of wedding planning was the venue/food and I would recommend City Club to anyone looking for a wedding venue. The surrounding area is gorgeous and makes for wonderful pictures as well.

I just recently got married on 04/22/17 and everything was absolutely perfect!! Jennifer Foreman and Ashley Trahan were so easy to work with and went above and beyond. My ceremony was suppose to be in the Carriage House Courtyard, but unfortunately we had to move it inside due to the weather. I decided to have my ceremony in the Fluer De Leis ballroom where my reception was being held. Ashley made sure it was beautiful and texted me pictures along the way of her setting everything up. People that we talked to after said they thought it was suppose to be indoors all along and they thought it was beautiful! Everyone raved about the food, and the whole staff couldn't be anymore friendly. If you are looking for a venue where you can literally show up this is the place! We had a wedding reception at City Club River Ranch on December 30, 2016 and it was absolutely AMAZING. To begin, I contacted Jennifer Foreman mid-October (2 ½ months prior to event) and told her what I was looking for. Also, told her I lived in Houston and needed to keep this event simple, but elegant. I met with Jennifer a few days later at the venue, we worked out a few details and she made it happen. I met Ashley Trahan who coordinated the event and the rest was history. From booking rooms at the Carriage House Hotel, to coordinating vendors, to ensuring we (and our parents) had food in our hotel rooms after the event, they thought of and handled everything. This is hands down the BEST wedding venue ever. Thank you so much Jennifer and Ashley for making our reception a night that we will never forget.

We were treated so well throughout the entire wedding planning process. Jennifer Foreman and Ashley Trahan went above and beyond to make sure that our special day was as perfect as could be. I truly couldn't be happier with their level of service. All of my questions were answered quickly. I was so relieved that Jennifer was able to do all of the coordinating between the caterer, musicians, decorators, etc. The ceremony took place at 5pm in the Carriage House Courtyard, which was beautiful, exotic, and intimate. Our reception was in the Bar & Grill at City Club, and again, the setting was very warm and intimate for 120 guests. The FOOD was AMAZING! I highly recommend that brides consider renting a suite at The Carriage House Hotel for getting ready the day of the wedding. It's a beautiful setting and the staff ensures that you are well taken care of throughout the day. One of the girls at the front desk went so far as to help with our last minute wedding decorations. My wedding was everything that I dreamed it would be. : ) City Club made sure of it. Thank you so much Jennifer and Ashley!

Wedding/Reception, 5/28/16, City Club River Ranch. My daughter's wedding and reception were held in the River Ranch Gazebo and the Fleur de Lis ballroom, it was spectacular. Many thanks to the incredible Heather Stough who led us through the whole process. Any questions we had were answered immediately, any ideas we had, she made them happen. She coordinated everything and was there every step of the way even packing up our decor after the reception. She is made for this job and was a pure delight to work with. Every person we encountered at City Club bent over backwards to help us and always had a smile on their face. The food was outstanding and everyone we talked to said it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding reception. The venue is gorgeous and it's just a complete first class place to have your wedding and/or reception.

Best wedding venue in the Lafayette area! My husband and I got married on February 13, 2016 in the Carriage House Courtyard and our reception was held in the Fluer de Lis Ballroom! Everything was perfect, thanks to our amazing catering manager, Mrs. Heather Stough. She's simply amazing, professional, attentive and very sweet person. She has a smile that will light up the room and personality that would make anyone feel comfortable around her. She made sure our day was perfect and stress free. I couldn't have ask for a better place to have my wedding. The food was delicious and my husband and I hand was never empty, she made sure I had my mimosas and he had his beer! Also, she had all my vendors contact information, I did not have to contact any of them except my photographer and videographer because Heather handled everything. If you are looking for a venue and someone that will meet your every, I definitely would suggest City Club and Mrs. Heather Stough!

On 1-16-2016 our daughter's Wedding Reception was held in the Fleur de lis Ballroom at the City Club. On our first visit to City Club we met Heather and the venue was beautiful. As a mother of the bride planning a wedding from North Carolina it was so nice having someone like Heather working with us. I called Heather over the year and she always called back with answers to our questions. On the big night she made sure the bride and groom were taken care of as well as us parents. The food was delicious and the service at the bars was great. Staying at the Carriage House was also a plus with a very short walk from City Club. I rented the bridal suite for Haley's and her bridal party to get ready and so happy we did. We also enjoyed taking a break at the health club which was nice. So happy that Haley and Jacques chose the City Club. It was just the perfect choice for our families and guests. Must say River Ranch had everything we needed within walking distance. Thanks so much to the staff and to such a wonderful Heather!! It was a wonderful reception!!!

I just recently got married 01/16/16 and had our reception for 200 people in the Fleur de lis ballroom and cannot even begin to describe how perfect the night went. When I was looking for a venue as soon as I met with Heather I knew my search was over! Literally, my search was over, I called and cancelled my other appointments that day because not only was it beautiful, Heather is an absolute wedding coordinator goddess! Heather obviously loves what she does and is the best at it as well, she made me feel so comfortable throughout the process I knew anything I needed she would take care of! I did not have a coordinator for the wedding as we had one at the church and then having Heather it really was not necessary for me. During the year of planning I would text or email Heather with a question or even asking for suggestions on vendors and she was always so quick to respond! Having the carriage house just steps away to get ready and then stay the night after the reception was perfect as well! The staff at the carriage house was amazing and took care of everything we needed! When we arrived to the City Club after our ceremony, Heather ushered our bridal party into a private room and had Hors d'oeuvres and drinks waiting for us while we waited for our entrance. Last but not least lets just talk about how amazing all of the food was, after we finished our dances and cutting the cake Heather brought us to a private room to eat while our buffet line opened up and it was absolutely perfect! My husband and I really enjoyed getting to have our first meal together and take a minute to have time to ourselves. I can honestly say every single thing we had on our buffet was delicious and almost every single one of our guests have mentioned the food was the best food they have ever had at a wedding! The entire night Heather checked on my husband and I making sure our drinks were filled and we were taken care of and at the end of the night she put to-go plates in our room at the carriage house for us to enjoy! (Sadly we did not even get to touch to the to-go plates that night because we were both still so full from our private dining at the beginning of the reception) \rI cannot say Thank you enough to Heather and the entire staff at the City Club for making our wedding absolutely perfect in every way!

Every detail from beginning to end was taken care of from help finding the perfect vendors, picking the perfect menu, and making sure our night went perfectly. My husband and I got married in the Courtyard of Carriage House Suites and had our reception in the Fleur de Lis Ballroom of City Club. Our coordinator, Heather, made many many things completely seamless and easy transitions (because unless you previously were married, you don't know much about what goes into it all!). She provided help and checklists that were extremely beneficial to the planning process. Along the way, if you had any questions or requested help for potentially needing a florist, musician, etc, she easily had tried and true names handy. She knows what she's doing ladies ;) (or gentlemen). Everything was gorgeous and extremely well set up. It was so nice to not worry over anything the day of my wedding. Besides a small glitch with our pianist and sound, I virtually had no issues or complaints. The wedding party got dressed and ready the day of in a condo suite (girls were upstairs and boys were downstairs) of the hotel, which made it SUPER easy to have everyone in one place, but also for photographers and such to have easy access to everyone for pictures of getting ready, etc or if you or a member of your party need to walk to the reception hall next door. All the wheels in motion really came together, like I said they have done this many times before and know what they're doing, to provide quite the fairytale experience.

My husband and I were recently married and had our reception at City Club on October 3, 2015. Our experience here was absolutely perfect, and I wouldn't change a thing. \r\rHeather Norder Stough, the catering manager, was meant for this job. She always has a smile on her face and is so professional about what she does. Towards the end of our wedding, I was emailing her often, and she responded very quickly with an answer for all of my questions. She coordinated with our vendors and offered advice to ANY questions I had. Our actual wedding day flowed perfectly thanks to Heather. She does the hard part for you (and makes it look so easy!) My champagne glass was never empty at our reception, and she even packed my husband and I to-go boxes full of food and cake and brought it to our hotel room at the Carriage House, which was very appreciated. After working with Heather for the past year, I can truly understand why City Club has won \"Best Of\" for the past 5 years.\r\rOur wedding was held in front of the Town Square gazebo just as the sun was going down. The ceremony space requires very little decorating because it speaks for itself. There was no noise from any nearby businesses or passing cars, which was great. \r\rOur reception was held in the Fleur De Lis ballroom. It is absolutely gorgeous in there! With it's grey and white decor, it matches every bride's color scheme!\r\rFOOD.. Where do I begin?! City Club truly outdid themselves in this department. Our wedding guests are still raving about how delicious the food was. Many of them told us it was the best wedding food they have ever eaten. The staff was constantly replenishing the food and clearing empty plates and glasses off of the guest tables. Grits and grillades, praline chicken, and shrimp and tasso pasta were some of the MANY favorite items. \r\rAll in all, I HIGHLY recommend booking City Club at River Ranch for your ceremony and/or reception. It was the best decision I made during the planning process, and I know other brides and grooms won't be disappointed either.

Words can't express just how pleased and thankful I am to have chosen a venue and team that worked magic for me leading up to the biggest day in my life! My experience throughout planning my wedding was first class and to say that the staff bent over backwards to make sure we were happy is an understatement! My wedding coordinator, Heather Stough, was my little wedding fairy! She thought of everything and was truly a joy to work with! She made planning fun and most of all not stressful! I will be forever grateful to all of the staff at City Club at River Ranch for making my wedding day perfect!

I had a small very private wedding, about 75 people attending. I have had at least 75 compliments on our wedding. It went so smoothly and the venue and the food was absolutley amazing. Donovan Broussard and Heather Norder Stough were absolutley perfect. I could not have done this without the help of them and their wonderful staff! \rIt was definitely a wedding to remember by every one who attended.

I wanted a wedding reception that was all-inclusive to minimize the amount of coordination needed on my part. I was also interested in a reception hall that that was large but manageable with a good lay out for crowd flow and dancing. My wish came true with City Club. Heather, the coordinator, was outstanding with answering any questions and accommodating my requests. She was very helpful with giving tips toward planning other aspects of my wedding day. Her services also include creating a time line and managing the reception's flow which was extremely helpful. The catering was fabulous and the service great. I have no regrets and would recommend it to anyone interested in a low stress, elegant reception. The set up of the building/menu offers many options for any type of budget. The City Club is exceptional all around.

My wedding reception at City Club went off without a hitch!! Guest loved the ambiance and overall look of the venue! The food and service was also amazing!! Heather, the event coordinator was very helpful throughout my planning!! She responded to my emails and questions promptly. If you are a bride in the Lafayette area looking for a venue, City Club should be on your list!!

OMG!! Where do I begin? The venue was gorgeous. Fresh flowers, great linens, beautiful ambiance. Literally, my wedding party did not have to do anything to make my bridal shower one of the best days ever. We held our shower on a saturday and we had brunch (one of my absolute favorite meals)! The food and staff were amazing. Their smiles were infectious and they were very professional. The staff helped to pick up plates, napkins, etc. I couldn't have asked for a better bridal shower venue. The mimosa bar was to die for as well. Please, if you are considering City club for any of your wedding needs, do not hesitate to contact Heather Stough. She helped in making my bridal shower one of the best days of my life! XO

Our daughter's wedding ceremony was held in gazebo at Town Square with reception in Evangeline Room as well as The Grille & Bar at City Club. The sunset ceremony was beautiful, exactly what the bride wanted. All of the food was exceptional and the wait staff were very courteous and professional. The food was constantly being replenished and the empty/used dishes and glasses were picked up so quickly, which I truly appreciated.\rHeather Norder, the event/wedding coordinator, was so organized and helpful, keeping great notes of every little detail discussed over the weeks and months of planning that she helped us keep track of what we wanted. She is the epitome of a southern lady, filled with such poise and grace and perfect manners. She was able to calm even the most frazzled of nerves before the wedding started. She took care of the newlyweds throughout the reception as well as all parents of bride and groom. She saw to our every need, constantly checking on us. The newlyweds so appreciated the basket of food and cake she delivered to their room(at the Carriage House in River Ranch) where they spent the night after the wedding.\rLet's face it, a wedding is a beautiful event, but no matter how perfect, can be very stressful and chaotic for the parents hosting it. Heather made what was a very hectic, but wonderfully enjoyable event, seem effortless. A truly magical experience and we couldn't imagine being anywhere else!

My daughter's wedding reception in the ballroom at City Club in River Ranch over a week ago was just perfect!! Many guests told me how much they enjoyed the food and how beautiful the venue was. Heather Norder, our wedding coordinator at City Club, did an outstanding job for us by making sure everything flowed seamlessly! She handled many details involving other vendors and reception set up. As a result, I was able to relax and enjoy the festivities. My daughter and I can't thank her enough for helping to make this wonderful day extra special for us!

I had both my ceremony and reception at the City Club! The wedding planners there were a dream...extremely organized and thought of everything. The day of the wedding, the planner stayed til the end if the reception and was there to help us with everything! She even fixed us both a big plate of food so we actually got time to eat! [bonus, when we got back to our hotel at the end of the night our fridge was stocked with champagne! slices of our cake and some left over food from the reception!]\r\rOur guests still rave about the good southern food at the reception and how beautiful the venue was! City Club does it right!

I had the pleasure of being in my best friends wedding not to long ago which took place in Lafayette, La at City Club in River Ranch. I would like to take a moment to comment on how great and wonderful everything was. Being that I wasn't the bride I guess I could look at things with less of a magnifying glass, and really see the whole reception as a whole. Everything was perfect, my friend didn't have any stress that night over the venue and food because of the wedding coordinator and her staff taking such good care of everyone the whole night. We danced all night long and really got to enjoy the reason why we were are all there, to celebrate love. I have my own upcoming wedding coming up within the next year and we are strongly considering City Club at River Ranch to be our venue now, I will be contacting them shortly. Thank you to the staff and everyone who made my friends wedding so great!

What an incredible evening! Our wedding reception was held at The Eleven Hundred Club at City Club. This was absolutely the perfect venue for our small crowd of 100 guests. The food was delicious and the atmosphere so lovely. Very little effort to decorate because the venue is already beautiful! The staff was so helpful throughout the entire process and made the evening flow smoothly. If I had it to do all over again, I wouldn't change one thing! Thank you to Patty and the entire staff at City Club for taking such great care of us!

My daughter got married at the Carriage House and the reception was at the City Club ballroom 8/22/2014. What an amazing experience with such short notice. We planned this wedding in less than 6 mos and were absolutely pleased with the staff, food and service. All of our guest raved about the praline Chicken. (good choice) We especially like to thank Heather Norder, the coordinator/mgr. \"What an angel\" She listened and paid attention to our every need. I wish there were six stars to rate the attention and help we received from Hannah and Dominique at City Club at River Ranch. The venue is beautiful! We elected to get married in Town Square for a large outdoor ceremony which was perfect. They have a smaller courtyard available for smaller weddings which is also picturesque. Our reception followed in the large Fleur de Lis Ballroom which easily housed our 200 guests, DJ, artist, cake tables, food and bar tables as well as popcorn bar and large dance floor. The colors and decor of the ballroom will easily accommodate any wedding color palate as it is elegant in shades of gray and white. Our entire 9 month wedding planning process would not have been nearly as enjoyable without Dominique and Hannah. These ladies are so professional, caring, accommodating and helpful. With all of their experience, they are able to honestly answer all questions. As a fairly perfectionist bride, they helped my specific visions and ideas coordinate smoothly and truly come to life. In the days leading up to the big day, Hannah and Dominique handled most of the details perfectly and I didn't have to worry and would seek my opinion on the bigger decisions, which was wonderful. My husband and I could not have dreamt of a more perfect wedding venue and staff. Following our ceremony, we received many compliments on how much every enjoyed the delicious food.

From my first meeting with Hannah and Dominique to our final exit through the sparklers in the breeze way, everything was PERFECT! I received the best advise, customer service and experience and I cannot say one negative thing about City Club. From a last minute rain plan to each detail of my ceremony and reception, Dominique handled everything perfectly. My guests are still talking about how great the food and service was, and of course the space is beautiful! \r\rChoosing to do our wedding and reception at city club was the best decision that we made (besides getting married of course :)), and I am positive that it is the best place in Lafayette to have a wedding!\r\rThank you to the entire staff for everything you did for us and all of our guests. You truly made this the most magical evening of our lives :)

I am finally sitting down to write this much deserved review from our wedding in November. I really couldn't have imagined having our ceremony and reception anywhere else. The setting was absolutely beautiful and our guests had nothing but good things to say. \r\rHannah is incredible, what can I say, I don't know what we would've done without her. There are so many things that were accomplished and put together without me even realizing it. Just when I'd start to worry about something being done, I'd look over and see that everything is already in place. Hannah and the staff made everything run so smooth that I never worried about a thing on our wedding day. We truly had the best time at our wedding, and I couldn't be more thankful for everyone's hard work at City Club!

Outstanding service at the reception. Dominique Caskey, our coordinator was amazing.Even though we had some last minute changes, she was so incredibly helpful to us. Our whole family was so pleased with the location, food and drinks. It was the best night of my life and everyone else had a wonderful time.

First off the venue is so beautiful that it doesnt need much added decorations. The service was great. Everyone was very nice and the food was delicious. Hannah, the wedding cooridinator, was amazing from the start. Very responsive to all of my emails and needs. She made the day of the wedding seamless and such an enjoyable day for me and my groom.

Outstanding Reception site, and Hannah Trahan Wedding Coordinator at City Club of River Ranch is outstanding! She is there for not only creating the reception of your dreams, but is very helpful in connecting Bride and Groom with several vendors and recommendations. The City Club Evangeline Ballroom was the perfect romantic setting for a wedding reception, and the ballroom has been recently renovated to include new curtains, gorgeous chandeliers throughout the foyer and ballroom, wall painting updated, etc. Not only was there renovations, but the catering provided was delicious and provided plenty of options for Bride and Groom's catering selections. Highly recommended!!

We fell in love with the staff the moment we walked in the doors. This place truly is a package deal for someone who wants to enjoy their engagement and not spend every waking moment planning. I was amazed on how much I didn't have to do, which made focusing on the small details so much easier. The ceremony was gorgeous and the food was amazing. our reception was beautiful in the 1100 room. The staff is very trustworthy and organized. Everything was perfect.

I had my 10/27/12 wedding reception in the eleven hundred club at City Club. The entire experience was amazing. Hannah has a true gift! She was with me every step of the way. She was helpful and professional. I couldn't have done it without her. I can't say enough wonderful things about my experience. Everyone raved about the food, how beautiful the location was, and the drinks. Thank you City Club and Hannah for making our day absolutely perfect. I would encourage anyone to use them for a vendor.
