One of our favorite places in Atlanta, City Winery, seemed like an easy decision to make for hosting our wedding and reception. When searching for a venue, they just seemed to have a good package from having their own catering, to some awesome spaces for the event. Based on our size and budget, we went with the upstairs area- the den, restaurant, and outside patio. They were able to work with us on pricing and flow of event spaces which was really nice. We ended up working with 3 different venue coordinators which threw us off a little, but in this industry, there is some turnover to be expected. When we first booked, we set a food and wine tasting to go ahead and get the proposal put together. The menu to choose from is awesome and they let us try several different entrees and hors d'oeuvres. They also had a wine expert pair the foods we chose with some AMAZING wines! The last coordinator, Chris, was great. She jumped right in to help us pull off our vision. Since the chef had changed since we first chose our foods, we got another tasting to make sure we were happy with the foods/ got to try some new dishes. During our tasting we were able to go over details with Chris. The rehearsal the day before had to be a bit early because the restaurant does need to open, so just keep that in mind when planning. I walked through the timeline with Chris and the deliverables for the event. Chris helped us store our items and made sure that everything was set up as we had planned. We did not have a separate wedding planner, so having the venue coordinator be so easy to work with was awesome! Everything ran smoothly on the day of. The venue was set on time, the transition from the ceremony to reception was seamless, and the staff were all very warm and friendly to our guests. The next day when we went to grab our items, the staff was still very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this venue for weddings and other events. Great space and great people! And obviously, great wine! :)

Wow! Words cannot express how amazing City Winery was. From the delicious food, to the accommodating staff and great service, our experience was wonderful! Lindsy Haworth (Events Director) Originally from Denver, Lindsy brings over a decade of experience in events, catering and operations. A year and a half spent in Madrid helped foster Lindsy’s love of different food and culture, as well as a love of travel. While back in Atlanta, Lindsy was immersed into the world of fine dining and private events. When she's not planning parties or attending them, Lindsy enjoys spending time with her two children and husband!
