City Winery brings the bustle of city living and the luxury of wine country together at our urban winery space in the heart of historic Boston. Our event sales managers guide couples right through the big day to completely transform any or all of our spaces, including our Barrel Room Wine Bar & Restaurant, Concert Venue, Haymarket Lounge, Art Gallery, Cellar Room, Tasting Room, and Barrel Room. Our inclusive wedding packages include passed hors d'oeuvres, a full open bar, plated dinners, and dessert bites. We offer state-of-the-art sound equipment and have an in-house technical engineer to assist with the most seamless entertainment execution. Wine loving couples can opt to indulge in guided wine tasting with a sommelier, winery tours, and custom label wine to commemorate their special day. From a full house event hosting up to 280 guests in our concert venue to an intimate gathering of less than 50 in our smaller winery-adjacent spaces, City Winery is here to host the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception of your urban winery dreams.

City Winery Boston was the perfect intimate venue for our wedding. Shayla, the event coordinator, was excellent. She was always available and accommodating, making planning my wedding reception a breeze. Her professionalism was bar none. The quality of service, the caterers, and servers were highly professional and courteous. Watching the servers enjoy themselves during the reception made it more entertaining! The food was fantastic, and many guests were asking for seconds. The parking situation (or lack thereof) isn’t ideal for a blustery winter day in the city. However, paid parking is available within walking distance, and limited street parking is also available for those fortunate to find a spot. City Winery is an excellent venue for any reception; you will not be disappointed.

City Winery Boston was the perfect intimate venue for our wedding. Shayla, the event coordinator, was excellent. We held our wedding reception at City winery and I would highly recommend this venue! We rented out the dining room, haymarket lounge, and gallery and the spaces worked wonderfully. The planning and event team was helpful, communicative, and easy to work with, despite personnel turnover on their end. The food and drink was delicious and we would love to work with them again.

We held our wedding reception at City winery and I would highly recommend this venue! We rented out the dining room, haymarket lounge, and gallery and the spaces worked wonderfully. When my husband and I toured City Winery Boston for the first time we immediately knew we had to have our New Years Eve wedding there. It was the absolutely perfect setting for our non-traditional, city-chic wedding vision. Unfortunately, like many couples, we had to post-pone our wedding one year due to Covid; and while we were obviously bummed over the situation, the venue and its staff couldn't have been kinder throughout the process. Living 10 minutes from the venue, they brought us over a bottle of wine to celebrate our \"should have been wedding date\". They made moving our date and contract as simple as possible and were incredibly kind throughout the process. For this, we can never thank them enough!One the day of the rehearsal and wedding, everything was executed perfectly! The wedding coordinator ensured that everything kept to schedule and that the bridal party had anything and everything they needed. The staff serving at the event were professional, experts and lots of fun!We received so many compliments on the venue itself, as it is a more unique place to have a wedding. Guests loved the atmosphere for a NYE wedding and the flow from the Ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. The food and cocktail hour are still raved about to this day (especially the mini lobster rolls!)We could not recommend City Winery Boston enough for your wedding. If what you are looking for is a chic, downtown boston, non-ballroom feel for your wedding you have to check out this location. We can't thank the staff who executed our vision enough!!!!

We toured City Winery - ultimately it was not the vibe we were looking (we chose something outdoors, totally different) for but we had a great experience. Cibeline was super communicative and flexible, and gave a wonderfully detailed tour. It's a really cool space and would be an incredible venue for the right couple!

Wedding Date 10-09-2021
My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner here on 9.9.21. During the planning process we lost our coordinator. Dawn, from another location, stepped in and made sure everything was perfect and ready for us, even from miles away. Both being in the industry, my husband and I know how hard it is to try to juggle restaurant and functions and Charles, the general manager, did an amazing job! We were really nervous not having an event manager but Charles and Dawn made sure everything was great. Thank you so much!

We had a great experience using City Winery. The venue was the perfect space for our wedding and the process leading up to the actual date of our wedding was well organized. The food was delicious and the wine was amazing. The location is perfect if you are looking for a wedding in the city - lots of hotels nearby and plenty of things to do/see within walking distance. The venue was an amazing value that we would absolutely recommend!

We had a great experience using City Winery. The venue was the perfect space for our wedding and the process leading up to the actual date of our wedding was well organized. The food was delicious and the wine was amazing. The location is perfect if you are looking for a wedding in the city - lots of hotels nearby and plenty of things to do/see within walking distance. The venue was an amazing value that we would absolutely recommend!

We got married at City Winery in November 2018 and absolutely loved everything about the experience. Krysten and Katie were wonderful from the first day we went to see the space through the moment we went to pick up our frozen top of the cake (which was a full two weeks following the wedding!) There are so many great qualities to City Winery. We were looking for a place that was in Boston, would be able to accommodate a big band, had great food, and offered a unique look that fit our style. This place hit the mark on every front. The lead up to our wedding was one of the best parts of the experience. Krysten was extremely accommodating to our schedule and extremely responsive to any questions we had. She was great about giving us the time we needed to do our rehearsal too, even though there was going to be a concert in the space the same night. Krysten did an outstanding job helping us talk through our vision for the wedding and developed a great plan that met all of our needs. She was there for us every step of the way, and had some truly great ideas during our meetings to discuss our event. Krysten and Katie were truly incredible. The food at City Winery is amazing. As a restaurant, they do a lot of small plate items. Their event menu is more in line with what you would expect for wedding meal (salad, main, desserts…) but has awesome and delicious items to choose from. We thought we’d need to do the traditional steak/chicken/fish to keep people happy, but after trying the duck gnocchi we had to have it at our wedding. It was so good. We tried everything at our tasting (which was nothing short of amazing) and you really can’t go wrong with any of the menu options. They were also able to accommodate our request of mini cheesesteaks for our late night snack.The venue itself was staffed very well for our event and everyone was friendly, provided great service, and made sure we had everything we needed on our big day and every room was clean. Our meal was executed without any incident and everyone loved the food. They were also great about our desire to make sure no one witnessed the flip of the space between the ceremony and reception, and pulled it off without a hitch. If you’re considering a wedding in Boston at a unique and fun location, this place will have everything you’re looking for. Our family loved it, our friends loved it, and we couldn’t have had a better night!

I highly recommend City Winery Boston as a wedding venue. My wedding reception took place there on 6/30/2018 in the ‘Venue Space’. We had 185 guests, which was a comfortable number for the space, though it can hold up to 200. The cost of this venue was very reasonable, especially compared to other options in the Boston area. Planning my wedding at City Winery made the process way more manageable as the venue included food, alcohol, tables, chairs, linens, and other special touches such as a card box, various decorations, and personalized wine labels. They also are more than happy to accommodate DIY personal touches as we brought in most of our own flowers, candles, and desserts. Our cocktail hour took place at the bar in the ‘Main Dining Room’ and we had a smaller room dedicated to the table tent cards and guest book—all of this was generously included in our original price. We were the first wedding in the ‘Venue Space’ and despite the fact that this was unchartered ground, the staff rose to the occasion and went above and beyond expectations. Krysten Mallet, the event coordinator, worked with us throughout the planning process and truly accommodated our wishes down to the most minute detail. She was so easy to work with and honestly felt more like a friend by the end of it. She ran the show on our wedding day and we felt completely confident in her abilities. The City Winery staff—Krysten, Katie, bartenders, wait staff, sound check staff—worked seamlessly behind the scenes to create a wedding reception enjoyed by all. Oh yeah, and the food was delicious (thank you Chef Enx Dadulas)! Just some tips to other couples who may be considering City Winery: 1. The venue is easily walk-able from the North End; our ceremony was in a church in the North End and most of our guests simply walked to City Winery for the reception. 2. Ward 8 is a great after party spot, which is just 2 blocks away. 3. The sound and lighting system at City Winery is impressive, check it out!

I cannot say enough good things about the City Winery in Boston! It was the best choice my husband and I have ever made! We booked our intimate wedding before the venue was finished, and although it seemed a little risky, Krysten made us feel at ease and her and the team there completely exceeded all our expectations. I know we were the first wedding at this venue and they certainly did not disappoint us. We had both our ceremony and dinner in the tasting room and we were able to get married with the the wine barrels in the back. The price was very reasonable and the per person price included both dinner and drinks, but the best part about the City Winery was the staff! They were more than accommodating for us, even allowing us to pick things off the dinner menu that were not on the functions menu. Krysten, Katie, Adrian, and the entire wait and bar staff are all super friendly and professional. They really made us feel like we were more than just clients. They made arrangements for us to take photos throughout the venue without having any interruptions, even keeping the concert hall closed when an event was coming in that night so that we could take pictures on the stage in private. I would recommend the city winery to everyone, and cannot find one negative thing to say about the venue or the staff! Thank you for making our wedding everything we could have hoped for and more.

New to Boston but not new to weddings, Shayla has 10 years of experience planning weddings, rehearsal dinners and large-scale events. Shayla is detail oriented and often jokes that she gives her couples \"homework\" to complete, ensuring every detail is pre-planned and executed to perfection.
