Could not have chosen a better venue. Suzanne is phenomenal to work with and we had a wonderful experience - the Joel Levine Rehearsal Hall was the perfect space for an intimate ceremony before transitioning to the gorgeous Hall of Mirrors for our reception. The value of their packages is excellent - you get an ornate, historic space in downtown OKC for a fraction of the cost of many other venues in the area. The CC also has great working relationships with many other top wedding vendors in the area, which made for a smooth-sailing wedding day! We cannot recommend this venue enough. Reviewed on 06-06-2023

On the wedding day, there were issues with our wedding planner, but Suzanne and the Civic Center staff jumped into action to help. I could not appreciate them more. Reviewed on 28-11-2023

The civic center exceeded my expectations on all levels for my wedding. The staff was so friendly and engaging on my special day. I chose to have a very non-traditional wedding and they never once made me feel like my vision wasn’t acceptable. The price for the venue was in budget and we had everything we needed and more. I only wish I could spend more time with the amazing staff. If you are thinking of an all inclusive affordable but amazing venue do not hesitate to book here. You will not regret it! I had my wedding at the Civic Center Hall of Mirrors in the summer. Everyone at the civic center - especially Suzanne & Megan - were very easy to work with and made the process so enjoyable! I did not have a wedding planner, and they helped me coordinate details with my vendors and logistics for setting up the venue. The hall of mirrors is such a beautiful space - and it made it so easy for me to have a simple, elegant, classy, art deco theme/style! So many of my guests also commented on how much they loved the venue. I could not recommend it more for a wedding or event! Reviewed on 01-11-2023

We got married at the Civic Center Music Hall in September and had the most wonderful experience. We immediately decided we wanted to have our wedding here after our first tour. It is so beautiful and timeless and exactly what we were looking for for our OKC wedding. We did the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception here. Suzanne was so helpful during the planning process and answered every email/phone call in a timely manner. Unfortunately my wedding coordinator couldn’t make it to the rehearsal last minute, so Suzanne took over for her and did an amazing job. The Civic Center staff made sure the whole wedding day was very stress free; making sure us and our bridal party had everything we needed and came up with fast solutions to any concern or problems we ran into with other vendors. I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a downtown wedding vibe as the view of the city shines through the big beautiful windows in the hall of mirrors! This venue was also a hit for my guests as they are still raving about its beauty and open spaces! Reviewed on 01-11-2023

Suzanne was very responsive and helpful throughout the entire planning process. I don’t think I ever had to wait more than 10min for a response back from her; she is amazing. We also just felt like we were the most important wedding to them throughout the time that we were planning and making arrangements with them for our big day, which is so special because they have so many weddings there so I know they treet every couple with the same care and excitement for their big day. We also just felt like every picture turned out so beautiful because the venue is breathtaking. Suzanne was also really helpful with suggesting other vendors, and she was very cordial and helpful with the new vendors that we were working with that she hadn’t met before. All in all, our venue was one of the largest decisions we made regarding our wedding day and we couldn’t have been happier that this is the venue we chose ❤️ the civic center will always hold a special place in our hearts! We had our wedding reception in the Hall of Mirrors at the Civic Center in May of this year and it was absolutely perfect. Suzanne was great to work with and very responsive. She also communicated really well with my wedding planner and the rest of my vendors. They made the planning process smooth and seamless and then executed everything exactly as we’d talked about. The room is big and beautiful and allows you to do so much. Plus the windows overlooking the lawn and the skyline are to die for. I would highly recommend this space! Reviewed on 09-07-2023
Gillian Gauss(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 19-11-2022 The Civic Center was the perfect venue for us! I really didn’t feel like I needed much decor past floral because the Hall of Mirrors is so stunning by itself. We had our ceremony in the Joel Levine Rehearsal hall and it was the perfect intimate setting. The reception in the Hall of Mirrors was everything I could have asked for and more. The bridal suite is beautiful and it is really nice how close it is to the Hall of Mirrors for shoe changes, look changes, or any other needs you have. You can quickly go to the bridal suite and be right back at the reception. Suzanne was also a dream to work with. She went above and beyond from the first email. She is very responsive and helpful, but will also make you laugh during picture and warm your hands if it’s freezing outside. There was a show going on during my rehearsal and wedding, and you wouldn’t even know. I’d recommend this venue to anyone! Reviewed on 04-01-2023

Taylor Byrd(bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 05-05-2018 If I could give 0 stars, I would. My fiance and I wanted to book our wedding here. Initially, we were very impressed with the venue and the people we originally spoke to and showed us around. We immediately filled out their preliminary information sheet and waited to receive our contract/permit to make our reservation official. After waiting more than a month, we reached out and were told there would be a slight delay because their employee's house burned down, which is obviously tragic. We waited almost 4 months before we reached out again (because we had still not heard anything from them) only to be told that a different employee would now be helping us get our contract. Over the next month and half we patiently and courteously worked with said employee to get our contract, and in fact we did get a contract, twice, both times with the contract containing incorrect dates, which you think would be pretty important to get correct the first time. We asked the employee to please fix the contract, again, and after having to follow up again because she didn't seem capable of answering emails the first time around, she said she would have it to us by the next Monday. Well, Monday came and went, and to no one's surprise, the corrected contract was never sent. We decided to move on and find a venue run by competent and reliable people. Fast forward another 4 months, and someone from the Civic Center calls my fiance to ask when we would be ready to sign our contract. HA! Over 9 months after originally wanting to book this venue, and they act like we were the ones that weren't fulfilling our obligation! It would be funny if it weren't so breathtaking how incompetent they were through the entire process. Needless to say, we won't be having our wedding here, and we couldn't be happier it didn't work out. Since going through this experience, we have heard numerous horror stories about this place and its employees. Also, beware because if there is an event here on your wedding day, it will be total madness and your guests will have nowhere to park. It's a beautiful room and building, so I hope they are able to get rid of the people we worked with and replace them with professionals who actually are good at planning and managing events. The setup we chose was not good at first but thanks to creative friends it ended up being beautiful. We actually used the same venue for ceremony and reception (moneysaver!!!). I would definately recommend this to other brides (venue for both ceremony and reception) or whichever you choose. Charity was helpful although we had some misunderstanding (our event was on a Saturday and they were going to let us decorate the night before, but all of a sudden it was booked that evening so we scrambled to decorate everything on Saturday) not her fault except they wanted to charge extra for us to come in the morning as early as 7am to start setup. We had already paid for the rental and that amount was suitable enough for them to give us a lead time of 3 hours....at least so we thought. They saw it differently and we started with just 1 hour lead time. Everything turned out beautiful because of our lovely friends who rallied and showed up on time and started promptly!!!!
