Originally built in 1936, The Cliff House will host a variety of events including ceremonies, receptions and rehearsal dinners. The Cliff House is stunning!!! Our wedding was absolutely perfect. The Boxwood staff were professional, attentive, helpful, and all around wonderful. They made the experience fun and exciting! Our wedding coordinator provided by Boxwood, Madison was incredible!! She always made us feel at ease and everything went off without a hitch! I would recommend the Cliff House to anyone! We cannot thank the Cliff House and Boxwood staff enough!!

The Cliff House is stunning!!! Our wedding was absolutely perfect. The Boxwood staff were professional, attentive, helpful, and all around wonderful. They made the experience fun and exciting! Our wedding coordinator provided by Boxwood, Madison was incredible!! She always made us feel at ease and everything went off without a hitch! I would recommend the Cliff House to anyone! We cannot thank the Cliff House and Boxwood staff enough!!

We held our wedding at Cliff House this year with Boxwood, and it was complete perfection! Our guests are still raving about the food and drinks. There were also so many personal touches our coordinator with Boxwood made happen so seamlessly that made the day so special!

Cliff House was the perfect venue for our wedding!! We had about 90 guests and it was the perfect size for us. The venue itself is stunning so with just simple flowers and candles we were able to make the space look great. I also can not say enough good things about the food, it was amazing! Our coordinator, Madison, helped make the day go by so smoothly. Communication leading up to the event was always quick and easy with everyone we spoke to from Boxwood Hospitality.

Cliff House was the perfect venue for our wedding!! We had about 90 guests and it was the perfect size for us. The venue itself is stunning so with just simple flowers and candles we were able to make the space look great. I also can not say enough good things about the food, it was amazing! Everyone from Boxwood made my wedding day seamless. The day of coordinators (Madison and Kayleigh) were so easy to communicate with and they executed everything perfectly. I'm a perfectionist so I was so anxious about everything going well and Boxwood took care of everything on my wedding day and answered all my questions leading up. The food was amazing by their catering team as well and they were also very helpful with our menu choices.

Everyone from Boxwood made my wedding day seamless. The day of coordinators (Madison and Kayleigh) were so easy to communicate with and they executed everything perfectly. I'm a perfectionist so I was so anxious about everything going well and Boxwood took care of everything on my wedding day and answered all my questions leading up. The food was amazing by their catering team as well and they were also very helpful with our menu choices.

We found this venue through the Knot and we and are so so happy we did!! This was the perfect venue for our wedding. The place is very cute and its location is ideal with walking distance bars for an after party. Food and drinks service were great. Most importantly, the staff was very attentive to detail, has excellent and prompt communication, and is incredibly nice. Kayleigh was our wedding coordinator and she was ON TOP OF EVERYTHING, while being a genuinely sweet person who wanted the best for us. We would rate this place 6/5 if we could and strongly recommend couples looking for a wedding for ~70-140 people to book this place as soon as possible!

Our experience with the Cliff House was top-tier from the very beginning to the very end. This is a gorgeous, historic venue that sold itself from the moment we walked in. What really made this venue a dream was the people involved. London guided us through the entire process and made us all feel sooo comfortable. She went above and beyond (while pregnant, mind you!) and we truly could not be more grateful for her role in coordinating this day. From learning our families' names/roles, to assisting with our nephews meltdowns, she did everything she could to help make it a perfect day and her efforts will never be forgotten. It would not have been the same without her!!! We truly cannot recommend the boxwood hospitality team more. It was a 10/10 experience and a day that we will never forget.

She went above and beyond (while pregnant, mind you!) and we truly could not be more grateful for her role in coordinating this day. I cannot recommend any venue/event by Boxwood Hospitality enough. Their team is incredibly professional, organized, and competent and made the entire planning process a lot smoother and easier than I thought it would be. Maggie and Maddie, my day-of coordinators were amazing and I have them to thank for preventing at least 100 bride meltdowns. Justo and his catering team behind Boxwood Catering exceeded my expectations for what wedding food could be. I got so many comments from guests that the food was unexpectedly delicious and I was also so impressed with the presentation. If you are thinking about working with Boxwood at any of their venues I say DO IT. So worth it.

This was the perfect venue for our wedding of exactly 100 guests and Boxwood Hospitality (London specifically!) did the most incredible job helping us with all of the details from making sure our vendors knew what to expect, answering all of our last minute questions, and helping accommodate even the wildest requests. You can absolutely tell their clients are their #1 priority and they will do what it takes to make sure your wedding day is absolutely perfect and just as you've envisioned it. I cannot recommend this venue and Boxwood Hospitality enough. What an incredible experience for not only my new husband and myself, but for our friends and family as well.

What a perfect venue! We wanted a small ceremony, only 140 guests, with a classic church feel. The Cliff House was everything we could have asked for. A converted white-frame church that was built in the 1920’s, it have been lovingly restored. Maggie, our coordinator, was on top of everything. She help us with the layout for tables and chairs, the colors for the linens, and the vendor logistics. On the day of our wedding, she was everywhere, helping with everything. We cannot say enough good things about this venue!

We just got married this weekend and we were absolutely blown away by The Cliff House’s amazing service throughout the entire process. We had around 70 guests and the incredible staff made our day so perfect. Andi did a wonderful job showing us the venue and explaining how everything works. She ensured us that flipping the space from ceremony would be done seamlessly and she was right! Justo helped us coordinate what we wanted to serve to guest and he gave such wonderful recommendations based on what we loved most. He even provided us with Boxwood Catering tickets so we could try different menu items for ourselves. We ended up deciding on a pasta buffet with Caesar salad and garlic bread which everyone loved! Maggie was our coordinator and she was truly wonderful. We were able to remain calm the entire day thanks to her kindness and guidance. She is highly organized and has such great attention to detail. Everything during the ceremony and reception ran seamlessly thanks to her and we appreciate all of her help. Lastly, the space itself is simply amazing! We loved the natural light that comes in and the exposed beams. We were also sold on the fact that The Cliff House is right next door to the Typo Campus which is where our guests and ourselves continued the party following the reception. This venue is simply perfect and I would recommend it to any new bride looking for a gorgeous space with staff that will exceed expectations. Thank you everyone at the Cliff House for everything!

The Cliff House was an absolute dream to work with. I had dreamed of having my wedding at this venue since it was opened. The experience was everything we had ever hoped for. Catering was amazing and Gusto made sure that everything we selected was exactly what we wanted for this special day. Our guests raved about the food! Maggie and the rest of the support team were amazing to work with as well. I hired a wedding planner but she worked very well with Maggie and her team and gave them all very high marks. We could not have asked for a better event!

During my wedding planning season I consistently said that vendors can either add to your stress or help to relieve some of it. The Cliff House and my venue coordinator Abby consistently eased and took away my stress. Abby was so easy to work with, organized, kind, helpful, and so much fun. She made the planning process go so smoothly. I’m so grateful to the Cliff House and to Abby for helping my vision for my wedding to come true. My mom and bridesmaids were so impressed with the venue and with Abby too and I got so many good comments about it :)

Everything about my experience working with The Cliffhouse & Boxwood Hospitality was absolutely amazing. We got Abby as our day-of coordinator. She far surpassed our expectations & I was able to trust her completely. From the very first planning meeting, she took so much stress away from me and asked me questions I hadn't even thought about. Everything day-of couldn't have run more smoothly.The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and was perfect for our 70 person guest count. We walked in for the initial tour and I knew right away it was what I was looking for. It's simply stunning in nature and doesn't need a whole bunch of decor to make it shine. The food was actual next-level amazing. We got compliments from our guests the whole rest of the night. We did a buffet style Texas barbecue and let me tell you - the mac n' cheese!!! I'll be thinking about that mac n' cheese for the rest of my life. Justo, the head chef, was so accommodating and lively - and made our menu cohesive and delicious. Overall, I can't rave enough about this venue and the people that work there. There's something truly magical about The Cliffhouse and Boxwood Hospitality. I'm only sad that I had to say goodbye to it!!

Everyone on the Cliff House team went above and beyond for us. Our original date was June 2020, and the owners of this venue were the most flexible and gracious partners, even as we had to postpone multiple times. When it (finally) was time for our wedding, we were lucky to get paired up with Maggie. She responded to every email (which contained a laundry list of questions) with detailed answers and made us feel so comfortable leading up to the big day. On the day of our wedding, we got one of the sweetest, most thoughtful surprises from the Cliff House team. Because of some of our guests' religious/dietary restrictions, we were limited in what we could serve for food. But during our tasting, we wanted to just try the lobster risotto balls because they sounded so good. We loved them, but sadly couldn't serve them. On the day of the wedding, Maggie and team had them specially made for me and my husband to enjoy by ourselves. They even sent us home with extras! I was so moved by the gesture, and that's just one example of how the team made us feel like family. We are so grateful for the attention-to-detail and compassion that the team at the Cliff House displayed.

Actually, The Cliff House was one of the best choices we have made for our wedding. The venue was clean, and the vibe of the place was really lovely (even if you choose to use minimal decorations). The venue looks much more gorgeous in person! Their pricing was also practical, and the venue itself was very beautiful and clean. Choosing this venue has made our wedding ceremony and reception much more memorable. The food was great as well! We are so thankful to Ashley - our coordinator, since she has made planning much easier, even at a short notice only. She made sure to accommodate everything that we had wanted even at the last minute. She also ensured to address our concerns and our queries. We are blessed that we were greatly helped by Ashley experience our dream wedding. Months after the wedding, we even received a cute token for choosing The Cliff House. Ashley was our coordinator and she went above and beyond to take care of us throughout our wedding day and every step of the way there. From navigating unruly groomsmen and family drama to remaking my bustle when it broke, she was my girl! We were a COVID couple and had to reschedule multiple times but the Cliff House staff was always kind and worked with us to plan a new date that we were comfortable with. Two weeks ago I had my dream brunch wedding at the Cliff House! From the time I booked the venue in March to now, the communication and professionalism of Boxwood Hospitality has been top notch. Maggie was our event coordinator and was a pleasure to work with. The Cliff House is a beautiful venue and is perfect for the 100-120 guest count. My bridal party and I got ready off site and traveled to the venue to put on our dresses. The groom and groomsman got completely ready at there Airbnb in Bishop Arts and I had a photography meet them there. It worked out not have bridal and groom rooms at the venue. I only have great things to say about the Cliff House and I highly recommend the venue for any couple looking for something traditional yet trendy!

Two weeks ago I had my dream brunch wedding at the Cliff House! From the time I booked the venue in March to now, the communication and professionalism of Boxwood Hospitality has been top notch. Maggie was our event coordinator and was a pleasure to work with. The Cliff House is a beautiful venue and is perfect for the 100-120 guest count. Our day of coordinator, Carly, made wedding planning feel effortless as she answered all of my questions and concerns. We got married at The Cliff House May 9, 2021 and it was absolutely the best wedding experience I could have possible wished for. From the moment we toured the venue to the actual wedding day, every step was not only a breeze but everything I could have dreamed of. Our wedding coordinator Maggie Hummel is an absolute gem and kept myself, our families and wedding parties taken care of the whole day. The ceremony flip went off without a hitch and walking into the reception space I could not help but cry actual tears because it was so breathtaking. Any crazy idea I had (boba truck, live music, removing a part of the venue) was able to come to life because of the amazing people at this venue. We also used their in house caterer and bar service which was just WOW. Our food was INCREDIBLE--our guests are still raving about how delicious our food and drinks were. We HIGHLY recommend choosing the food stations options!! Our guests LOVED having so many food choices. We truly cannot recommend the Cliff House enough. The location is superb, you get that downtown feel with the cool vibes of the Bishop Arts district. There are so many locations to take stunning photos as well. We cannot thank everyone at the Cliff House and Maggie enough for making our day so special. If you are looking for a venue please make sure you give this place a look, its truly magical!! <3

We initially stumbled upon it online and thought it looked like a really good option, but we were sold once we toured it our first time. The owners did a wonderful job with the renovation of the old church and in keeping some of the rustic charm while still feeling very modern and contemporary. Everything about the experience was perfect, from the initial tour, to the events they hosted to give us a better idea of what we might want to serve at our reception, everything was top notch. The in house caterers were outstanding, all the food was delicious from the appetizers to the main courses. We are so pleased with the entire experience, couldn't have chosen a better location for our big day.We were so lucky to have Julianne as our day of coordinator, she was phenomenal from start to finish. Super organized and helpful throughout the entire process (even helping us navigate all the COVID concerns). We certainly couldn't have pulled it off without her help. My husband and I were married at the Cliff House on July 4, 2020 and cannot say enough wonderful things about the venue. We had originally scheduled our wedding for April 11, 2020 and due to the shutdowns associated with COVID we were forced to move it to the summer. My husband and I were still married on 4/11/20 but celebrated with a second ceremony and reception on 7/4/20. With that being said, it was a very difficult season full of let downs, last minute planning, and heartache. Everyone at Cliff House was considerate, kind and worked extremely hard to make our day the best they possibly could under the circumstances. Our sweet wedding coordinator, Carly, was nothing but amazing! She was very attentive and made sure our special day ran flawlessly! She went above and beyond to make Anthony and I feel so loved on the best day of our lives!!! Although we were already married, it still felt so magical and was so speical. The venue speaks for itself the second you walk in. We knew it was the venue for us before finishing the tour. We are SO glad we chose Cliff House. It will always hold a special place in our hearts! My (now) husband and I got married at the Cliff House in early January and only have positive things to say about our experience with Boxwood Hospitality!! We were provided with amazing service from the day we sent in a forum asking to view the venue. We fell in love with the space pretty much as soon as we saw pictures but visiting the venue sealed the deal. All our e-mails were met with prompt yet comprehensive responses, answering all million questions I had asked previously. Everyone we interacted with was accommodating and patient, especially our day-of-coordinator, Sheyanne Chumchal. She is the sweetest person EVER. She is incredibly easy to talk to and was organized/on top of things throughout the entire process. She helped me feel at ease and I went into our wedding day knowing I was in capable hands. Our wedding day went by smoothly, which I am sure is all thanks to Sheyanne! If there were any mishaps, I was not aware. Thank you Sheyanne and to all the staff at The Cliff House/Boxwood Hospitality for making our special day absolutely wonderful!!

We just had the most beautiful wedding at The Cliff House on 7/6/19. My daughter and now husband fell in love with this venue the minute they saw it. I had reservations due to the size, but we ended up with just under 150 guests and it was just fine! The venue was really a beautiful backdrop and perfect location. Carly Suhr, our wedding coordinator was flawless! She was so calm and professional that it made for a smooth wedding. Carly coordinated a valet service for us which made parking easy for our guests. The dance floor was very well used that night as well! Really a wonderful experience.

The whole staff was amazing and helpful with letting us come by a few different times to show family. Tzahhia was so amazing and helpful. We did not do a traditional wedding and she was so helpful with all of the planning and ideas. We had a few last minute changes and she was so flexible and easy going. I loved working with her. The classic architecture and refinished wood ceilings and floors create an elegant, comfortable place to gather with loved ones. We hosted 90 guests and many of them complimented the gorgeous space. We planned our wedding in five weeks, and our event manager, Jessica, was there every step of the way. She kept us on-track with all venue decisions, was super responsive to detailed questions, and always went above and beyond to make our experience as easy and enjoyable as possible. She worked out all details ahead of time, to make our wedding day one of the best days of our lives.We truly loved having our wedding at the Cliff House and continue to recommend the venue to family and friends.

We recently hosted our intimate wedding at the cliff house, and all of our guests were blown away by this hidden gem! We wanted a location off the beaten path, and a bit different than the usual Dallas wedding venue. It is so romantic inside with the original beams, and the stark white, clean aesthetics—just what we were looking for as the backdrop to our big day. The staff are all very helpful + flexible, which goes a long way as well, with the planning process. Highly recommend!
