Clinton Presidential Center Reviews
Rachel Williams(bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 01-01-2022 Communication was very unclear and we had lots of difficulty getting answers from them. Several of our vendors told us that it might be a toss up whether we would have success at this venue. There were lots of hidden fees that we were not made aware of up front so we decided to go with a different venue. Reviewed on 07-06-2021
Dani Scoles(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 19-05-2019 We had both our ceremony and our reception in the Great Room inside the Clinton Library. We absolutely loved it! Paige was the main contact and she was wonderful. Every now and then there was a bump in communication, but Paige always rallied together and made it work! She answered all our questions and helped us have a great event! The day of the wedding, we had a different representative, and she really knocked things out of the park! There were a handful of things that weren't right or that were off a bit, but she handled every single one of them perfectly. I highly recommend this location for the service they provided, and man that food was delicious! Reviewed on 04-08-2019
Andree Muldoon(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 27-05-2018 Beautiful venue with lots of natural lighting while being inside in the crazy Arkansas weather! VERY accommodating when we found out RiverFest was coming back on our wedding weekend after we had been promised that it was canceled. AFFORDABLE once you account for the included tables and chairs! INCLUSIVE being that they have an amazing restaurant on site that caters weddings, they have bartenders and AV techs for hire, they set up and tear down for you, they have a room for the girls to get ready in with snacks and drinks, they tell all vendors when to make deliveries, and much more! Listened to every little detail I shared and did an amazing job setting everything up like I imagined it. Mindy, the lady I worked with for about a year is incredibly kind and helpful! The workers truly want you to have the best wedding possible, and will work hard to make that happen for you! Food is tasty! Truly, I cannot say enough good things about my experience with the Library!Complaints - the food was better at our tasting than at our actual reception, which was a bit disappointing. The day of coordinator was not the lady I had been working with and I did not expect that; however, she was just as kind! I was told that the venue would be setting up our rented tablecloths and place settings; however, I had communicated that the wedding party would be coming in at 1:30 to set up and the venue workers had yet to put the tablecloths on the tables by the time we arrived, meaning that the wedding party had to scramble to do that in order to set up the centerpieces. They have several rules that suck, such as no open flames (sparklers for exit) or things that scatter (confetti, etc for exit), so just be aware of these before booking! Communication can be slow at times. Have to pay for rehearsal time slot if you want to book in advance; however, you can wait until about 2 weeks before your wedding and be assigned an open date for free. You are not allowed in to the venue on your wedding day until the Library is open to the public unless you want to pay extra. All of these complaints are totally reasonable, I just wasn't aware of some of them when booking; therefore, I was thrown for a loop some. Reviewed on 13-06-2018
Lindsey Moore(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 11-06-2016 From the time my wife and I scheduled our initial meeting until we rode off from our wedding, the staff at the Clinton Presidential Center was so awesome. Planning both our wedding and reception was a breeze with their help - from the food, to coordinating with our vendors, they made everything so easy. And when it came time for the reception, the entire staff was so kind and helpful and we have received so many compliments from our family and friends. They truly helped make our wedding so amazing and we will both be forever grateful. Reviewed on 07-07-2016
Chelsea Presson(bride)2 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 21-09-2013 Clinton center is a very nice venue for wedding reception. If interested you need to call WAY in advance to book the date, the dates fill up fast!! Reviewed on 08-10-2013
DeeAnn Williamson(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 20-04-2013 We had our ceremony and reception in the Great Hall room (cost for daytime $500). They worked with us to make sure we had everything we wanted and needed (table cloths, serving menu from their restaurant, cash bar, perfect size tables, chairs we liked, etc.) They suggested vendors for areas we had no clue who to hire. When the DJ's system went down, Phillip Mayfield (part of the wedding planning at the Clinton Library) downloaded our songs on his phone so the wedding would continue just like we planned! They made sure we had everything we needed on that day! It was perfect and the view was beautiful! Reviewed on 26-05-2013
Macy Tyler(bride)2 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 21-07-2012 Went to an outdoor wedding there and for the money they spent they did NOT get their money's worth. The sound was bad the decor and scenery was poor it was tacky Reviewed on 05-08-2012
Chelsie Tull(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 30-06-2012 The event staff was beyond helpful. Paige, the main contact helped link us to a rental company that took care of everything we needed. We used the garden for our ceremony and the ballroom for our reception--both were gorgeous! They set up and cleaned up everything for us-and made it as stress free as possible. They require that you use their catering (which was the most expensive part), however it was the best wedding food I've ever had--my guests were raving about it all night. They also provided a fabulous room for my bridesmaids, the mothers and I to get ready in--complete with a bathroom, large lighted mirrors, places to hang our dresses, couches and chairs, a tv, and plenty of snacks and drinks--all complimentary! Between the ceremony & reception the catering staff brought my husband and I some food up to this room while we took a few minutes to chill out before our reception entrance. They were so friendly and accommodating. \r\rOur wedding day was absolutely perfect. I owe a lot of this to the Clinton center for all of the work they did in making sure that was the case. I have nothing negative to say whatsoever! Reviewed on 17-07-2012
Christina Longinotti(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-09-2011 When I walked into this venue I knew immediately it was where I wanted my wedding. Everyone at the wedding was so excited to see the venue and were so impressed the day of. It is so beautiful inside, it required little decorations which ultimately saved us some money.\r\rThe staff was so amazing the day of the wedding! The room they let the girls get ready in was beautiful. They brought us snacks, drinks and checked in on us several times to see if we needed anything. \r\rThe staff also helped with the setup. We had a candy station and they set it all up for us. Before the reception, they prepared food plates for me and my husband upstairs to make sure we got food during the night. They also prepared to-go plates for us at the end of the night because they knew we wouldn't get to eat during the reception due to all the mingling and dancing.\r\rOverall, they were absolutely amazing and I would 100% recommend the venue and staff. Autumn Jones(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 05-03-2011 The two ladies that work with you are super sweet and helpful! The wedding day was nearly flawless (nearly, because no wedding is flawless). My bridesmaid's and I got to get ready in the \"green room\" (which was \"suppose to be larger\" than it actually is) but still lovely and filed goodies, candy, snacks, and even a Keurig! We also ordered lunch from Fourty Two (amazing). We had the rehearsal dinner at Fourty Two and their bbq is wonderful! The wedding was outside on the sky terrace and the reception was inside the Great Hall. Lovely and amazing that's all I can say! Reviewed on 31-03-2011
