Located in Dawsonville, GA, Cold Creek Farm Wedding Venue offers a picturesque place for couples to celebrate their love and commitment. The family-owned wedding venue in the North Georgia mountains offers an escape for sweethearts and their loved ones as they make memories to last a lifetime. The team loves welcoming individuals to their property and takes great joy in helping couples mark such a momentous occasion. Jeff and Susan Buffington bought Cold Creek Farm Wedding Venue in 2011 to be a working farm. Over the course of a few years, they transformed the property into a place for milestone moments. Through immense hard work, they got the farm up and running along with creating functional event spaces for couples and their nearest and dearest. Today, the property is not only home to special occasions, but also Jeff and Susan’s family and a number of animals. Couples have the choice of different packages at Cold Creek Farm Wedding Venue. These bundles are customizable to fit varying needs. Soon-to-be newlyweds can arrange to have both their ceremony and reception held at the venue. The vow exchange can take place in the barn or by the arbor. Drapery and string lighting are provided, enhancing the property's inviting character. The vintage church pews add a classic touch to the ceremony area. Catering, flowers, photography, entertainment, and more are also included in the full-service, all-inclusive wedding packages and the staff can connect you to a number of suggested vendors. Before walking down the aisle, couples can get ready in the designated bridal suite and groom's cabin. The day’s details are care of by a wedding coordinator whose services are also included in the offered packages. They and the event staff ensure that your day is a success.

We booked Cold Creek Farm as our wedding venue and we could not have been happier with the entire experience. From the day we booked the venue to the actual wedding day, we knew we were in great hands. They offer multiple vendor meetings throughout the year, so you can meet and hand pick your vendors for your big day (ours were phenomenal)!! The staff at Cold Creek, especially the owner Jeff, were so kind and always responsive to any of our questions or needs. The entire day went smoothly and it could not have been a more perfect wedding. We're still getting compliments on how gorgeous the venue was and how much fun everyone had. I highly recommend having your wedding at Cold Creek, you'll be happy you did!

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect at Cold Creek Farm! I am a very detail oriented person and for that reason, expected to have a certain level of stress associated with wedding planning. The staff at Cold Creek made the planning process so incredibly simple and easy. The vendor meetings provided the opportunity for us to get all of our questions answered and make all the necessary arrangements for our big day. On our wedding day, it rained all morning long. I was very vocal about really wanting the ceremony outside (the bridal grand entrance to the ceremony space is breath taking). So the staff had a rain plan and had the ceremony space prepared inside but stayed on top of the forecast and provided multiple updates to me. About 15 minutes before the ceremony, they shared there would be a break in the rain right at our ceremony time. Jeff, one of the owners, saw the look in my eyes and knew the outside ceremony is what I wanted. He made it happen! With a little Divine Intervention and a group of exceptional staff members, they moved the ceremony decor and setup outdoors and it was everything I ever dreamed of. If you’ve always dreamt of a beautiful, rustic barn wedding - this is the place to do it. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and we look forward to going back and spending our anniversaries in their treehouse on the property for many, many years to come!!! Thank you, Cold Creek for making our wedding day everything we’ve ever dreamed of!!!

There are a lot of things to love about this venue! Definitely take the time to drive up and tour, this type of venue may not be for you. Yes, there are live animals but my husband and I still loved the charm of the venue as a whole. All-inclusive was definitely the way to go, Cold Creek has vendor meetings to which you can choose your vendor from their trusted list of vendors. Best part, you can also a la carte and bring in your own vendor! You will be less the cost of that specific part of the package.The only thing that was disappointing was the honeymoon suite. We were promised the suite to be ready for our wedding and less than two weeks out, we were told that it MAY or MAY NOT be ready for our May wedding (was projected to be completed January). We ended up having to scramble to look for a place for our wedding night. Eventually they did offer we could stay in the groom's cabin but they still wanted to charge us the same amount as the full wedding suite. We ended up turning that down, found something else, and then it took several weeks for us to get a refund.If booking here, highly recommend using a wedding coordinator that has a strong relationship with Cold Creek so she can help with any miscommunications; they're bound to happen :)

Jeff and Susan have an absolutely breathtaking venue and they are always making renovations to improve it even more. Every single guest at our wedding raves about how beautiful the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception space were. Every aspect of planning the wedding was made so easy with the vendor meetings and suggestions from Jeff. All of our vendors were incredible and worked so hard to make our wedding day perfect and tailored to our style. Cold Creek Farm made my “moody winter wedding” vision become a reality even better than I expected. The bridal suite and grooms cabin are perfect and make getting ready very easy and enjoyable. I could go on and on about all the wonderful things about this venue. Highly highly highly recommend. You will not regret!

We actually came across Cold Creek Farm through an AD on facebook. We had a list of venues to tour but Cold Creek was definitely at the top of our list. Other venues we good, but Cold Creek was everything we were looking for in a wedding venue and more. Their all-inclusive packages are truly all-inclusive and at a price we couldn't beat. I'm a true believer in \"you get what you pay for\" and Cold Creek far exceeded that. Cold Creek made wedding planning so easy and so seamless. Carla was always so quick to answer any questions I had and was always so helpful. Cold Creek Farms is the best, and absolutely everyone should book their wedding here! You will not be disappointed. Our wedding day was an absolute dream come true and it's all because of Cold Creek! I can't praise them enough for all they did for me and Matthew. I couldn't have imagined a more perfect day. And they do everything! Throughout the entire process friends & family commented on how I wasn't stressed or worried about anything, and I owe that all to Cold Creek. They made everything so easy, because they literally do everything and they do it well! Not to mention they make everything affordable with their packing options, and you can customize them to fit your needs for your big day. Cold Creek does weddings and they do them well! They are organized, professional, energetic, welcoming and they make you feel apart of the family! I want to get married over again just so we can go to Cold Creek again! Book them and you will not be disappointed! We have received so many compliments on how awesome the venue was and how pretty everything was, and I owe that all to Cold Creek!

Cold Creek Farm was just beautiful. Everything was fantastic from start to finish. They were incredibly accommodating and responsive to questions, ideas, and needs. We would absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone. Two things to note that would be helpful to know ahead of time if you are going to use them. The first is that they put out a tip jar for the bartenders. If you would prefer to negotiate a gratuity for the bar and take care of it yourself, you need to do it ahead of time with your wedding co-ordinator (ours was Jessica Bencomo and we LOVE her). We did not want a tip jar out as most of our guests would not have had appropriate cash on them in formal attire, and we didn't want our guests, who had mostly traveled and already spent a lot to be there, to be burdened by further expense, but because we weren't aware of it ahead of time, there was a lot of miscommunication as to how to deal with it. The second was that in the summer it was very hot in the venue. There is an AC option, but to use it all barn windows/doors must be closed. We wanted the open feel, so we opted for no AC, but it was very hot. Overall, we had an amazing experience, start to finish, with CCF. It was truly a beautiful, special spot, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a special wedding. Oh, also, it POURED about 30 minutes before the ceremony was going to start. EVERYTHING had to be moved inside (chairs, flowers, etc.) Immediately when the rain stopped, their staff was outside re-setting, drying chairs, making it as if the rain never happened. It was amazing, and we were very grateful to them.

The barn was Beautiful and the staff that they have as decorator's for the day of go above and beyond. Loved working with the office staff and the owner's. Everything that you ask for and more is granted. Could not have picked a better place to have our Wedding Ceremony and Reception.

I had a friend get married here and I can say I was thoroughly disappointed in the venue. First of all there was mud everywhere. My friends car even got stuck in the “parking” and had to be pushed out by other wedding guest dresses in suits and heels. Not ideal. Next, they have roosters right next to the ceremony location. We wanted to hear the wedding ceremony but the roosters were fighting and that was much louder and more distracting than the mics. Lastly, I think there are pig pens directly on the other side of the venue. My fiancé and I walked around the other side of the table to get our food and saw the pig pens and all of the mud. After that I was not very interested in the food. I thought it had some beautiful aspects about the venue but unless you truly want the farm fresh feel, I would pass on this venue.

My friends car even got stuck in the “parking” and had to be pushed out by other wedding guest dresses in suits and heels. Not ideal. Next, they have roosters right next to the ceremony location. We wanted to hear the wedding ceremony but the roosters were fighting and that was much louder and more distracting than the mics. Lastly, I think there are pig pens directly on the other side of the venue. My fiancé and I walked around the other side of the table to get our food and saw the pig pens and all of the mud. After that I was not very interested in the food. I thought it had some beautiful aspects about the venue but unless you truly want the farm fresh feel, I would pass on this venue.
