ColdSpring Farm is a rustic wedding and events venue located in Alton Bay, NH. With a traditional barn, a charming cottage, and stunning views of Lake Winnipesaukee, it provides a true countryside experience. ColdSpring Farm is a working farm and family home, where you'll see chickens, horses, and two yellow labs. There are a number of scenic walking trails across the 300-acre property, and it's home to a wide array of wildlife. This beautiful site makes an ideal backdrop for exchanging vows. You can prepare for your big day in the property's cozy cottage, before heading to the picturesque ceremony space to say your 'I do's. Featuring wooden benches for your guests, an arbor, and a scenic view of the surrounding countryside, it's the perfect spot for your special moment. After your ceremony, you can enjoy your reception in the two-story post and beam barn. Built in 2010, this spacious barn was designed to be a rustic yet elegant event space. Featuring a convenient service area for caterers and bartenders, its wooden interior and warm lighting give it a welcoming feel. It's also equipped with WiFi. On the patio, there's a fire pit where guests can enjoy smores and conversation in the evening, and lawn games are also available. ColdSpring Farm can provide almost all items you may need for your event, including tables, chairs, napkins, linens, décor items, and more. Their friendly and dedicated team will work tirelessly to make your special day as easy as possible for you.

We pinch ourselves thinking about how lucky we were to find and book ColdSpring Farm for our family brunch this fall. Diane was a joy to work with and made the day of the event work smoothly. Our guests are still talking about how great the property was, and how much fun they had. We can't wait to plan future family gatherings there!

We cannot say enough good things about Cold Spring farm. When we first toured Cold Spring, we received the warmest welcome and the property was absolutely beautiful. We knew this place was a hidden gem and no other places we looked at compared!! We felt so supported throughout the entire planning process. This is a small family-run operation that feels much less like a business and more like a personal experience. Sarah, who lives and works on the property, is absolutely wonderful to work with. She tailored everything to our needs which was made easy due to the fact that they store many of the wedding essentials on site to choose from (plate settings, decorations, lights, vases, candles, and many more options). While we had beautiful summer weather for our wedding, it was incredibly reassuring to know that we could have pivoted our reception indoors in the beautiful upstairs portion of the barn. We really cannot emphasize how wonderful of an experience we had at Cold Spring, and we would personally recommend the venue to our closest friends and family. Everything just felt so right. I can't express enough just how magical ColdSpring Farm is! This is a little gem of a venue with the most spectacular views, so many wonderful areas to incorporate into your wedding, and run by such an amazing family. They are an absolute dream to work with. Diane has a way of making you feel like family from the moment you meet her. I highly recommend utilizing their offer for Day of Coordinator, I worked with Sarah and she was phenomenal and helped everything go so smoothly (and if it didn't, I had no idea!). The folks at ColdSpring are always working hard to make this place better and it is already a slice of heaven, you will not regret booking your event here!

When we first started wedding planning, we quickly realized we had no idea what we were doing or what we wanted. Everything changed when we visited Cold Spring. From the second we stepped foot on the beautiful property, the owners made us feel like family. There was a never ending line of communication, we had access to their extensive collection of decor, and the value for our money was phenomenal. We had the most perfect day we couldn't have even imagined in our wildest dreams. We got rave reviews from all of our guests and the day could not have run more smoothly. We took advantage of their same day coordinator, Sarah, who I in no way could have pulled this off without. In the midst of planning her own wedding, she nailed every minute detail of my wedding, and made the day SO easy and carefree for me. We also used their recommended bartender, Mariah, who was everything we could've hoped for. She was friendly, professional, communicative, affordable, and efficient. I could not scream from the rooftops loud enough about this venue. If you want a wedding you will cry thinking about for the rest of your life, call Cold Spring Farm immediately.

Cold Spring ReviewIt has taken me awhile to write this, because I have struggled to find the appropriate words to describe our experience at Cold Spring. To put it in a word, perfection. The views are quintessential New England. You are met by mountains and fields surrounding you. Wild flowers growing in abundance and horses galloping through a field. Beyond the views and the layout of the venue, Diane and Sarah worked in tandem to create the most beautiful day for us. They both share an insatiable passion; to provide the loveliest venue, care, and love for their couples. Quite frankly, our day would not have been even mildly successful without their guidance, enthusiasm, and participation. Sarah Lewis graciously offered her day of coordination services to me. Through her services, I had access to a wedding expert. She provided vision and all of the materials to encapsulate who we are as a couple. She worked tirelessly for us to enjoy the day. I did not have a single worry or question throughout our day long wedding. She provided an exquisite level of care (despite planning her own perfect day)! You will not find another venue that welcomes you in as family quite the way Diane and Sarah did for us. We knew from our first visit that there was no other place for us to tie the knot. I wish them all of the success in the world, our lives will be forever changed by their presence. If you are getting married, please visit them in Alton Bay. I promise that you will fall in love.
