Angie Shepherd(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 10-10-2020 Everything was such a dream! It couldn't have been easier to plan, everything was so organized. Our family and friends can't stop raving about the whole thing! Everyone loved the venue, food, decor and staff. We couldn't have asked for anything more and we appreciate Sunders and Vicki and everyone else who helped make it our dream day. We will be recommending Wine Country Inn to everyone!! Catherine Foster(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-06-2017 If there was one thing I heard a lot while I was planning my wedding, it was \"You look so relaxed!!\" And it's true, I wasn't stressed because the staff at Wine Country Inn (specifically Vicky & Saunders) are AMAZING!! From accommodating a tour of their facilities on really short notice, to thoroughly and patiently answering my random and outlandish questions in the months/weeks before the wedding, to rolling with some very last minute changes in the days before, they were all the epitome of professionalism and organization. I leaned on their recommendations a lot, and they always had fantastic thoughts and suggestions that really helped me plan. This venue is GORGEOUS, and guests were commenting on how well everything was laid out. The food was fantastic. It was really convenient to have out-of-town guests stay right there. I even stayed there the day-of to get ready, which took off another layer of stress to not have to transport a bunch of things. I'm SO thankful that we had the budget to have our wedding in such a beautiful location with so many amenities and services, wonderful staff, and rockstar coordinators. Thank you, Vicky, Saunders and the WCI staff for spoiling us and making our day a perfect and beautiful memory! Reviewed on 05-07-2017

The venue is beautiful, but the service received was extremely unprofessional and rude. I should have paid attention to the red flags from the beginning when I couldn't get a corrected contract from the events manager. 5 tries later, we finally received a semi-corrected contract. After that fiasco, I had issues with the event coordinator and not returning calls, then not showing up for meetings and not calling to cancel. It's frustrating when I rely on appointments because I had family in from out of town to come and another person taking time off work to come. The manager, Saunders, acted like we were putting her out by showing up to the scheduled meeting and asked what we wanted her to do since her staff didn't cancel. Very shocking. When bringing concerns up to the owner, she would just come up with an excuse. My time and appointments were definitely not valuable to them. The co-owner, Anne, is less than desirable to work with. Something that is important to me that the venue messed up, she would just brush off and say to just move on, it's not that important. Also, after the reception, I heard from several guests how rude the staff was, including Anne. We had a kids buffet separate from the adults. Some of the guests didn't realize they were different and went to look at the kids buffet, but were scolded and snapped at by the staff stating that it's for the kids. Everyone understands if there's a kids menu, but there is definitely a nice way to state it and not scold the guests about something so small. It's very unfortunate how we were treated by the staff, and how my guests were treated as well. Again, it's a beautiful venue, but I would not recommend having an event there as the staff does not seem to be able to handle it or care about customer service or being professional. a member (bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 01-03-2014 Colorado Wine Country Inn was the perfect choice for my intimate, outdoor wedding! The views are spectacular ~ the Grand Mesa, Mt. Garfield & the Bookcliffs, and the Grand Valley located on the western slope of the Rocky Mountains, with vineyards & wineries surrounding the venue location.\rThe staff is professional, accommodating, organized, and fun. They made every effort to make it a special day for my groom & me and helped everything go together smoothly for our wedding day. \rThe facilities are great! They have everything you, your wedding party, and guests will need, or they will help get it for you. The only change I would make is to make the area larger for the bridal party to get ready in and put in more mirrors, etc. This really wasn't a problem for me, as mine was a small wedding, but I could see how it could be an issue for a larger bridal party.\rThe food was very good, and our wedding cake was perfect! The Cake Cottage made it exactly to our specifications & gave us two taste testings in advance. \rThe Colorado Wine Country Inn will provide as much or as little support as you want or need. They are available to answer questions, provide information, or help take your wedding vision & make it a reality. I couldn't have been more pleased with our wedding venue choice and highly recommend it. Reviewed on 09-06-2014
