We had our daughters wedding at the CMA and it was outstanding. I was planning the wedding from Boston which created some challenges. Elaina worked with us through the process and in the end had such a wonderful time. We had weather challenges that with Elaina's help kept us right on track. She worked with us to keep everyone cool and dry both before and after the ceremony! The entire museum staff was great to work with. I could not of asked for a more perfect venue. Guests loved the open gallery too!

Classy AND Fun! The location downtown was great for our guests who didn't have cars or kitchens. The museum was spacious and the courtyard beautiful (not too noisy). If only guests could've browsed the exhibits :( - all else fantastic!

I used the CMA for my wedding in 2014. It was gorgeous, plenty of space, and had lots of different set up options. The staff was easy to deal with and was willing to help and quickly respond to any questions or concerns. Highly recommend it!

Everything at the Columbia Museum of Art was flawless! The staff did everything they promised and more! We didn't have to worry about a thing because the staff had everything taken care for us. Everyone was so helpful and so fun to work with. \rLiz and her team are just amazing!

Meet the Columbia Museum of Art Team
Mario Guevera & Samantha Scott (Coordinator) Mario is the Special Events Manager at the Columbia Museum of Art. He oversees the Events team and designs/plans internal events within the CMA. Mario is a dual citizen of El Salvador and the US, growing up in Lexington, SC. He enjoys live theater, music, and all aspects of design work.Samantha is the Special Events Coordinator at the CMA. She works with brides to book and coordinate their special day. Samantha is a native of South Carolina and attended Coker College where she received her B.A in Communications. In her free time she likes reading, traveling, and visiting local art galleries.
