We recently had our wedding reception at the Columbus Club and we are so happy with how it all turned out. Rene and his staff were so helpful in helping get everything set for the big day. Their recommended decorator did an amazing job. The staff working that day received several compliments from our guests and were both professional and friendly. Reviewed on 25-07-2023
Alice Loofbourrow(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 25-06-2016 I was very impressed with the Columbus Club. Peter Silano was instrumental in making our reception run smoothly, keeping me organized, and tracking all of the vendors who needed access to our venue and their insurance and liability information. Peter answered all of my questions and was very reasonable regarding refunding me for guests who cancelled at the last minute. Even before I booked with them officially, Peter helped me decide that the Columbus Club was right for us. I can't thank him and his team enough! The food was okay, but somewhat disappointing. We had the silver package, and the chicken and beef were both bland. I never tasted the fish. In all honesty, though, everything else was perfect. Reviewed on 18-07-2016
Anonymous (bride)2 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 28-06-2014 Our wedding was on 6/28/2014 at 1pm. We chose the Columbus Club because a friend recommended it and we had a nice tour. The smaller ballroom (Pardise Ballroom) was suggested by Peter Silano (event planner) because we had 120 guests. We chose to have 'chilled jumbo shrimp cocktail', 'miniature open faced reuben sandwiches', 'chicken & cheese quesadilla cornucopia', 'asparagus fillo with asiago cheese, domestic cheese & cracker display and 'fresh fruit kabobs'. The pictures of the food were very pretty, jumbo chilled shrimp in a silver bowl, fruit kabobs that looked almost floral.and tiers of cheese & crackers with grapes cascading down. The reality was flat plastic platters, no jumbo shrimp in a silver bowl, sliced fruit on flat platters and slices of grilled sandwich that tasted somewhat like a reuben. After I asked about the shrimp, small warm peeled shrimp appeared. The bride's room was locked when I arrived & air conditioning off. The Paradise Ballroom was hot & too small for our group. The band could not set up where we had discussed. Guests left early because of the heat and because they were hungry. It took 45 minutes to take pictures after the ceremony. By the time we returned to the ballroom most of the food was gone. Our wedding cake was served without forks. Our wedding was fun, but in hind sight I should have chosen to have it elsewhere. I do not recommend this facility. Reviewed on 18-07-2014

Liz Ferraro(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 27-07-2013 The staff at the Columbus Club were just so honest with us from start to finish. They told us everything up front, so there were no surprises or hidden fees as we approached our special day. They offered suggestions but were flexible and willing to do whatever I requested. They made a recommendation for our DJ, who turned out to be amazing too! Overall, we can not recommend the Columbus Club enough :) Reviewed on 03-11-2013
