Honestly, \r\rI wouldn't recommend this hotel based on anything but location and \"niceness.\" It's the only decent one downtown where we could put our family members, so we had to. But booking was a nightmare - Marriott sends everything to central booking outsourced to India/Philippines - and 3-4 groups tried repeatedly to book their rooms only to not be offered the correct rates or to be told all the rooms were full (only to have guests who booked later be able to get rooms). Overall it was pretty frustrating working with them. If you really put your foot down, they do wonderful work and can do anything you ask, it's just a battle at every turn. Also, one of our guests had to be moved rooms because the ceiling was falling on her while she slept.

Everything was really pretty and the reception went smoothly and pre wedding contacts were all very nice and responsive, but when there were issues after the wedding myself and my mother were repeatedly hung up on (I should add that those conversations weren't heated on our end). I paid them way too much money for that kind of treatment.
