This all-volunteer organization is dedicated to preserving the history of the aircraft used during the Second World War. Part of this includes repairing combat planes used by the different military branches, as well as some from a few other nations. The Commemorative Air Force Museum features two hangars spanning 15,000 square feet and another encompassing 32,800 square feet. These are used as a Museum Hangar and Maintenance and Restoration Hangar, the latter of which can be viewed from a safety perimeter. It is inside an approved hangar where a couple may host their celebrations. Photoshoots can also take place here in this versatile venue which suits a range of functions. I couldn't imagine a more perfect place to have had our wedding! Our guests were blown away by how unique and special the Commemorative Air Force Museum is. It was amazing to have vintage planes from the 1940's on display, and we all enjoyed dancing inside and outside the hangar as the sun set. Everyone with the venue, especially their events coordinator LaTanya, is so friendly and easy to work with. They were great about recommending vendors to provide catering, DJ, and rentals, and they were very flexible and accommodating with our ideas. I'm so thrilled we found the hangar for our wedding, it's a really special place!

This venue was not only a perfect fit for my husband and myself, it was truly the talk of the night. With all the beautiful historical planes out on display, everyone states the night was unforgettable. Plenty of room for all my guests, the staff was so helpful and pleasant, and the museum was the icing on the cake. I loved our venue choice and would recommend it to any airplane/history buff couple. Thank you!!
