Copper & Kings is a brandy distillery in the Butchertown neighborhood of Louisville, KY, specializing in private events: wedding ceremonies and receptions, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, and more. With three distinct locations, we can host groups large and small. Copper & Kings is home to a gorgeous outdoor Courtyard, a vibrant indoor Art Gallery, and a spectacular Rooftop Bar & Restaurant. With multiple space offerings, we can host wedding ceremonies, receptions, and more onsite and in one or more areas of the distillery. We specialize in delicious seasonal fare and expertly balanced cocktails made with finely distilled American Brandy. Our curated menus, prepared by Chef Josh Lehman, make a wedding or special event at Copper & Kings unique. Our menus are curated to exemplify our commitment to sourcing from local farms, supporting sustainable agriculture, and offering seasonally available fare. Our talented bar program creates our beautifully crafted specialty cocktails and mocktails. At Copper & Kings, we uphold the highest standards in cocktail creation and service, offering various bar package options, including signature batched cocktails, highballs, and beer and wine! Copper & Kings is your one-stop shop for the venue, catering, and beverage services. Our pricing includes tables, chairs, china, and cutlery for up to 150 guests, meaning fewer costs for outside vendors and rentals. Copper & Kings went above and beyond for our perfect wedding day! The outdoor patio is such a unique and beautiful space for a wedding/reception and there are many ways to tailor it to fit your needs. One of the best things about this venue is that they are the FULL PACKAGE! They handle all of the food and drinks, they have tables, chairs, plates, and utensils, and they do the setup/breakdown! We only had to pick our linens, and then source out our photographer, DJ, and day of coordinator! We received so many compliments about the food/drinks, it was some of the best wedding food - thanks to Chef Josh Lehman! Their Event Manager, Hayley Worman, is incredible at her job and made the planning process so manageable. She's extremely knowledgeable and detail-oriented and helped us through every step of the way. She was wonderful to work with! The entire staff was so helpful and friendly! By choosing C&K, it minimized the stress/decisions we had to make for the day and it is truly a hidden gem for weddings! It was perfect!

Wedding Planner here! I had the pleasure of working with Copper & Kings for a wedding in October. The team at Copper & Kings was very communicative, creative, and professional. My couple opted for their one of their more simple options (which I had assumed would be very basic) was anything but basic!! The chef blew me away with his authentic and quite delicious, all made from scratch on site. My couple wanted a seasonal flavor of Margaritas and Hayley was able to create one that was absolutely perfect. I had several meeting with Hayley and Janine to ensure that the day would run smoothly- and it did! Their attention to detail is top notch. You can absolutely tell they both have extensive experience doing events. It made my job as the planner so much easier knowing my couple was in good hands!I can’t wait to have another event here!

Hayley and the team at Copper & Kings were such a delight to work with! From our first venue tour to our big day there wasn’t a question that couldn’t be answered or an issue that couldn’t be remedied. We felt so loved and taken care of by all involved! Having Hayley there as our venue coordinator made the entire day such a breeze - she took charge with vendors, bartenders, and tour guides behind the scenes all while keeping us extremely happy and on schedule. We would recommend Copper & Kings to anyone who may need an event venue, large or small. They make it happen! Also, it makes us so happy that we still get word from our wedding guests about how beautiful the night was, how well ran it was, and how delicious the food and beverages were (not to mention how sweet the staff was throughout the entire night). We’ll be dreaming of this night our entire lives!

We used Copper & Kings for our rehearsal dinner and we could not recommend them enough. Hayley, the event coordinator, was so easy to work with. The food was amazing, drinks were fantastic, and the mini-tours of the distillery were such a fun touch! We used the 2nd floor space for our dinner, then opted to use the courtyard for our welcome party. Great place for a party!

We hosted our rehearsal dinner (70 people) at Copper & Kings. I was very impressed with everything about the venue. From the beginning inquiries to the event itself everyone we encountered was professional, courteous, helpful and accommodating. They worked with me to make adjustments when necessary, were prompt in returning communication and went above & beyond to ensure we had a great experience. The food was amazing and the event was well-staffed by polite, friendly & helpful staff members. I received many compliments from my guests on the venue, the staff and the food! I would definitely host another event at Copper & Kings when the opportunity arises.

Copper and Kings worked so well with us leading up to our wedding and accommodated us so well! It was super hot on our wedding day and they helped to make sure we stayed cool with fans. The helped us pick our signature cocktail and mocktail! Catering is included with this venue and the food was amazing! It is all locally-sourced and all of our guests raved about the amazing food! My husband also loves cookies and cream icecream and made sure we had some on our wedding day already my side all of our amazing desserts! We absolutely loved everything about our day and Copper and Kings made it extra special and so easy to plan!

Copper & Kings should be the top wedding venue in Louisville! Not only is it a beautiful, perfectly suited space, but they also cover just about everything you could possibly need. Their venue coordinator constantly impressed us with her professionalism and care for every little detail of our day. She was always willing to communicate with us and create solutions for everything so that our day went smoothly. We chose from a wide menu of catering options and had a lot of creative control over the final product. This applies to all of the aspects of our day, not just the catering. The staff was accommodating to our venue set-up, flipping spaces, music, etc. They even provided a huge portion of items that would usually need to be rented or sourced from a vendor. Overall, I could not recommend them highly enough. Our day was an absolute breeze because of Copper & Kings.
