Donna Murrell and her team at Coppertop were an absolute dream to work with. As soon as we met with Donna we knew we wanted to work with her. She was honest and up front about every piece of the venue, cost, and our event. Everything was reasonably priced and the food included was delicious. Any time I had questions or needed to go back for measurements, Donna would get back to me right away. The site outside for the ceremony was perfect and staff even took down some of the decorations after, although we promised to do it ourselves. All of the staff working our event were extremely polite and kind. Donna even went above and beyond to make sure we could get into the venue the night before (even two nights before if we needed!) so we could set everything up. Vic was a huge help the night before as well. They were super accommodating despite some of our last minute changes and also allowed us to come back the next day to pick up some items that were missed the night of. They provided us golf carts to take photos anywhere on the property as well. I can’t recommend this venue enough for couples who are looking for an affordable yet beautiful option for their big day. We had a smaller guest count (around 100) and this space was perfect.

I had my rehearsal dinner in the attic of Coppertop. It has a great rustic atmosphere. The food was excellent. They allowed me to choose 5 dinner options to make up a mini menu for my guests so that I could somewhat control the budget. The owner is very friendly and easy going. I was also able to do an open bar to a certain time. Very pleased with this restaurant.

They were so nice and easy to work with for my bridal shower! They let us come in and decorate early, which was really helpful. They did such a great job with the food, setup, and their service! I would recommend them to anyone.

very reasonably priced, food is awesome,everything was ready to go the night before so my set up only took about 45 minutes and we didn't have to do any tear down. The golf course provided awesome picture opportunities.Only a few minor issues-candles weren't lit when guests arrived and dinner was about 30 minutes late, but overall we were very satisfied!!

First we chose this room because three of the walls have windows so it is beautiful with so much natural light. And there is a private balcony with tables looking over the scenic golf course. Unfortunately it rained on our reception day so we weren't able to go out on the grounds and take pictures but the grounds are beautiful too, with lakes, fountains, gazebos and bridges. Mark is the owner and he is wonderful. He was willing to help us create our perfect reception! We could decorate any way we wanted to, colored linens were included, he added specialty bottles of alcohol for minimal charge. And lets just mention the food, if you go for a tasting you will be sold just like we are. The food was all good and we got so many compliments! We only had 3 problems with our reception, first the kitchen was about 15 minutes late in the getting the banquet started, and second the green beans weren't warm enough, and the kids meals weren't quite what they were supposed to be. These all ended up being relatively minor issues. Overall our reception was great (minus the rain which Mark cannot control)! The room was beautiful, the food delicious and the staff wonderful. The price was right in the middle of the places we looked at, good value for the price! We are so glad we had our reception at Coppertop and would whole heartedly recommend it to anyone!

My name is Donna Murrell, and I am the General Manager and Events Director for Coppertop Golf. I have been with Coppertop for nine years and have the pleasure of coordinating all events and weddings for our beautiful venue. I am the mother of four grown daughters and can fully understand and respect each couple's uniqueness and individual needs and desires! I realize that there are many components to making your wedding day the event you have always envisioned, and I take it upon myself to see that the venue and the reception are everything you dreamed of.
