GORGEOUS VENUE IN SNOWSHOE - Looking for a banquet hall with a great view? The Corduroy Inn at Snowshoe Resort recently opened its 12,000 square foot banquet center located on the top floor the new Corduroy Lodge. We are located on the summit of the second highest mountain in the state of West Virginia. Our banquet hall is on the top floor of the hotel offering unobstructed western sunset views of the Allegheny Mountains. In fact, at nearly 5,000 feet above sea level, our venue is the highest elevation banquet hall on the East Coast. NanaWalls cover nearly the entire western side of the banquet hall in which you can admire this view through glass or in the open air. I had my wedding at the Corduroy on Labor Day Weekend of 2023 and it was the most perfect weekend. Snowshoe is truly magical, and the Corduroy is by far the best wedding venue in West Virginia. Everything in the Lodge and Inn is super updated, and the banquet hall is so pretty without any decorations (which saves you time and money). The food is incredible, and the staff is super nice and helpful. Jim Ed Roush, the manager of Corduroy, acts as a de facto wedding planner if you need him, and he is a life saver. So glad I got married here, and I can't wait to go back to the Corduroy for anniversaries.

Jim Ed, his wife Monica, and the whole Corduroy Inn staff were exceptional throughout the wedding planning and execution! From the initial tour of the venue, Jim Ed laid out what vendors we would need to book and spoke to us about the many amenities Corduroy Inn offers. Food, drinks, tables, plates/silverware, dance floor, and two ceremony choices are some of the amenities. It was an incredible relief to not worry about finding a food vendor, and the food is AMAZING quality. It was convenient for family and friends to stay in the inn, and everything is so centrally located. A shuttle (driven oftentimes by Jim Ed himself) was available to drive guests from place to place. The wedding day was incredibly stress free and gorgeously executed. All the wedding guests gushed about the professionalism and beauty of the ceremony and reception. My husband and I had the best day of our lives, honestly!!

Our son and his bride said “ I Do” at The Corduroy Inn & Lodge earlier this month. From initial consult to last minute adjustments - the attention to detail, professionalism, and personal touches by Jim Ed and his staff were beyond compare!! The event was an entire weekend of flawless festivities for the Bridal Party and the guests thanks to Jim Ed, Monica, Katelynn, and Dan! Our Groom and his Bride truly had the wedding of their dreams!

The Corduroy Inn and Lodge was the most perfect and convenient venue for us! The ceremony and reception were all in the same room. The transition from ceremony >cocktail hour> reception was FLAWLESS. I honestly could not imagine the day going any other way. JimEd was the best go-to man and problem solver throughout the planning process and on the day of. A bridesmaid needed Benadryl, and guess what? JimEd had Benadryl! The wraparound porch is like a 2in1 deal, it feels like you’re outside without having to worry about mother natures outdoor decisions. My family likes to party and everyone stayed at the Corduroy Inn to avoid driving unsafely down the mountain. 10/10 recommend this location for your wedding or other event!!!

Let me start out by saying that Jim Ed is an amazing wedding coordinator! He made wedding planning , details , scheduling so easy! We came all the was from Florida to Snowshoe. I’m a type A person and need to know absolutely everything that is happening, especially being so far away 😂 Jim Ed was so easy going and helped answer any question I had no matter the day or time! The weather ended up snowing outside for our outdoor ceremony but Jim Ed made my wedding dream come true! It was so much fun, stress free, gorgeous, on time and absolutely perfect! The venue is superb. You can’t beat that absolute gorgeous view of the mountains! The Corduroy Inn and Lodge was PERFECT for us and our guest. It’s so clean, affordable, near the town, spacious and so much more. The staff were so professional and friendly. I can’t thank Jim Ed and staff enough for helping me create the wedding of my dreams!!❤️

My husband and I got married at the Corduroy Inn last month and I cannot say enough good things about the venue and our experience! From start to finish, everything was perfect. The wedding coordinator, Jim Ed, is the total package. He made the planning process extremely easy and is very knowledgeable when it comes to every little detail to create the wedding of our dreams. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and all of the staff were superb. The chef is top notch and all of our guests absolutely enjoyed the food. If you are looking for a romantic venue over looking the mountain then the Corduroy Inn is for you! I 100% would recommend this venue to a friend.

We had our wedding at the Corduroy Inn on 9/9/23 and all I have to say is if you’re thinking of having your wedding here - DO IT. Jim Ed and his crew are amazing. They truly made the weekend unforgettable and helped bring our vision to life. They went out of their way to make sure everything ran smoothly the entire weekend from start to finish and was stress free. How many brides can say that nothing went wrong at their wedding?!? The venue itself is amazing and truly affordable for everything you get. Our daughter’s wedding was held at Corduroy Inn and Lodge on June 17th. It was perfect – a true fairytale wedding. Jim Ed and the staff at Corduroy were outstanding, beginning with our initial discussions, through the tasting session, and to the final preparation and the wedding & reception itself. So easy to work with, and everything was simply amazing. We looked at quite a few venues – this was by far their favorite and we are 100% certain we made the right choice. Jim Ed and Corduroy made our daughter’s dream wedding a reality – Thank You.

The Corduroy Inn & Lodge hosted our rehearsal, wedding, and brunch the following morning. Having a place to do it all from setting everything up to being a place to stay was incredible. Guests were able to stay at the Inn for convivence. The ceremony space was stunning and easily converted into our reception space. Jim Ed Roush, the manager, was helpful throughout the wedding planning process both day and night. He made the weekend run smoothly and kept everyone together with his special flair and radiating joy. Many compliments were given throughout the weekend from guests who loved every moment. We highly recommend the Corduroy Inn & Lodge if you are looking for a beautiful event space with wonderful hospitality!

We held my son’s wedding and reception at the Corduroy Inn and Lodge. We had our rehearsal dinner and also a brunch the following day there as well. It was so convenient to be able to stay in the same location as all the events. Jim Ed Roush, the manager, was delightful to work with. He made sure everything ran smoothly and had that extra special touch. I didn’t have to worry about anything. The facility is new and the view is out of this world. We had lots of compliments from our guests. From the food to the hospitality to the decor it was top notch. Some said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. I highly recommended the Corduroy Inn!!!

I cannot give enough praise to JimEd and his team at the Corduroy Inn at Snowshoe, WV. In our case, the Bride’s mother was deceased, and I, as Mother of the Groom, was very grateful to be involved in all aspects of the wedding. I can literally say that JimEd not only listened to what the Bride wanted but delivered 110%. He was with us every step, giving advice and direction along the way. His experience was obvious and his communication and follow through was impeccable. From the perfect cake Monica made to the incredible food from Chef Scott, to the venue, and day of organization, we could not have been happier. I highly recommend The Corduroy Inn, JimEd and team if you want a beautiful, stress free experience!

Corduroy Inn is THE place to have your wedding! Jim Ed and the whole staff help you through the entire process of wedding planning, work with all of your vendors and even help you find vendors if you are looking! They are so experienced and I had nothing to worry about going into the wedding. As for the day of, they made everything move SO smoothly and made us feel so special. There is nothing you can throw at Jim Ed that he isn’t ready for or can’t do! My whole wedding party was sooooo impressed! If I could do it all over again (I wish we could) I wouldn’t change a thing! Thank you Corduroy inn and lodge!!!

When you decide to start the planning process of a wedding, one of the biggest things you look to do is stay STRESS-FREE! Well, Corduroy Inn & Lodge is the place you need to go! The second I walked on the property, I knew this was the place for me!As a type A person/bride, I never had to worry that whatever question or request arose would be handled immediately and never to be thought of again. Jim Ed, alone, plus the addition of the staff, makes this place beyond outstanding. I do not even have to mention The facilities or the BREATHTAKING views to sell someone here.On top of everything, the comfort of knowing you can host all of your events and most of your guests (in my case) on-site makes it even more attractive. Hands down the best venue I have ever been to as a guest, let alone planning an event! Five stars is not enough for this place!

When my now-husband and I saw pictures of the stunning mountain view and beautiful ballroom we knew that this was where we wanted to get married. As soon as we met Jim Ed Roush, we knew wholeheartedly that we wanted him to coordinate our wedding. Jim Ed and his staff do an excellent job making sure everything is perfect, down to the last detail. The ballroom is lovely, and the staff’s efficiency at flipping the room from wedding venue, in front of the gorgeous mountain views, to a beautiful reception set up is amazing. The food was delicious, the rooms are quite comfortable. We absolutely loved having a destination wedding with our dearest friends and family all staying in the same place over the weekend. In addition, the hotel includes fun passes for your guests to explore Snowshoe Mountain! By the time the wedding was over Jim Ed felt more like a close friend than a wedding coordinator, we loved the whole wedding experience at the Corduroy Inn and Lodge, and highly recommend this venue!!

We could not have imagined a better experience than we had at Corduroy. Jim Ed was an incredible day-of-coordinator, taking care of all the details we couldn’t possibly keep top of mind throughout the day. Anytime we had a request - generally small/trivial things - he took care of it immediately and ensured that we not worry about it. His responsiveness in the several months leading up to the event was second to none. He consistently assisted in answering questions and/or otherwise helping out with a steady stream of planning requests about the venue throughout that time. No request ever felt off-limits, even if it was the first time they heard such a request. When I asked for a platform for the balcony for speeches the week before the wedding, he had one built within 24 hours. The event’s flow was nearly flawless, with guests providing a lot of positive feedback about implementation details and planning being excellent from the guest perspective. The food quality was excellent; we got tons of positive feedback from guests both regarding entrees and apps. The variety room type offerings as well as the food and venue offerings at the three on-property restaurants is wonderful. Every single staff member at the venue was kind, thoughtful, and went out of their way to meet guest needs. From Matt and Sonya at the front desk answering first-time guest questions to Katelyn at the bar making connections with our guests and bringing the fun to Chef Scott being willing to make anything we wanted for our after party, I cannot say enough positive things about the people who make up Corduroy. And the view… we were lucky enough to have an insanely clear day with a million-dollar sunset view on the balcony. We decided to do half our speeches on the mountain view balcony after cocktail hour to really take advantage of the view (highly recommend both logistically and for the view). I know I’ve mentioned the guest experience above but want to really hammer home the degree to which the staff went out of their way to provide a guest experience that surpassed their expectations and made their weekend memorable, personal, and special.

We had a wonderful wedding weekend. It was a beautiful location, venue, and wedding. Jim Ed and the whole staff was super attentive and such a joy to be around. They planned and handled everything, we were able to truly enjoy our wedding. We had guests stay at the Corduroy House, the Inn, and the Lodge. The House is a beautiful cabin close to the Inn and Lodge. Very spacious and comfortable. We would definitely stay at any of the above again! All of them have wonderful views and the rooms themselves are beautiful. The best part at the lodge, are the heated floors in the bathroom! The food at our reception was amazing, we were told by several guests that the beef we had was the best they’d ever had. We loved everything about our wedding and we owe a great deal to how well they executed the event! Highly recommend!

Absolute dream wedding venue! JimEd was a gem to work with (he's amazing) and made my whole wedding planning process a breeze. All the staff was so much fun and treated us like family. Our guest felt welcomed and loved staying at the INN as well. I highly recommend Corduroy Inn & Lodge! If I could give them 10 stars I would we will be going back to visit soon! I LOVED,LOVED,LOVED my whole wedding experience here and would tell any Bride wanting to have a beautiful mountain view wedding this is the place to be!

WOW. The venue is absolutely beautiful, with a view you can’t even believe until you are lucky enough to see it in person. But even more importantly, the staff is bar none. We cannot imagine a more attentive, efficient, and genuinely wonderful staff to make our wedding better, or run more smoothly. Literally nothing went wrong - how often do you hear that? The wedding coordinator is resourceful, thoughtful, and his experience with weddings is clear. There are not enough compliments or thanks we can give to show how much we appreciate the Corduroy, the venue, and the staff.

We had an absolute blast. The staff was so kind and worked so hard to put our wedding weekend together! Jim Ed was super enjoyable to work with! The catering was amazing! Our weekend was perfect! Leading up to the wedding we had great communication with Jim Ed. He joined the corduroy team in the beginning of the year, and has been a joy to work with! He would do such a great job checking in and making sure I had everything ready and if I didn’t he would give me resources to use! Corduroy was extremely accommodating of our requests and super willing to work with us! Last minute we changed our ceremony to the terrace and they did such a great job setting that up! The staff did a great job wearing masks which we really appreciated! They made the clean up process so easy for us! We are so grateful for the staff and can’t wait for our next trip up to Corduroy for a weekend getaway!

I cannot say enough good things. After having a “micro wedding” last August due to Covid, we were so glad that we waited and were able to have the big wedding at Corduroy Lodge August 2021. Jim Ed and staff were super helpful and the venue is just gorgeous. Being able to have the bridal suite just below the ceremony and reception was key! In addition, with the classic Snowshoe weather, being able to move indoors at the last minute, and then open the amazing terrace back up as the weather cleared was fantastic. Highly recommend!

The Corduroy is an incredible venue! My now husband and I booked our reception at the Corduroy in August of 2020, while the space was still being built. We were a little bit nervous about being one of the first couples to use the venue, but we absolutely loved the location and THE VIEWS! Our concerns were quickly put to rest when we met the team at the Corduroy. Initially we worked with Kristin Billings who owns the hotel along with her husband. She was very professional and helpful. She was willing to answer all of our endless questions :) Then we met Jim Ed, the event coordinator. I cannot say enough about this man and am honestly tearing up a little while writing this. He is absolutely amazing. He goes above and beyond what I expected. He was extremely prompt with responses to all of our questions during the planning process. Leading up to our wedding weekend, we were texting back and forth, ironing out the little details. On the day of the rehearsal and the wedding, he made sure everything ran so smoothly. He made sure the bridal party ate breakfast and lunch and kept in constant contact with me as the weather was looking a bit iffy for our outdoor ceremony at Snowshoe. Everything went so perfectly! I loved that we were the only couple using the venue all weekend. Nothing felt rushed and we were so well taken care of. Our guests went on and on about how beautiful the ballroom and the deck were. The food was delicious as well and the servers were prompt and professional. I would absolutely recommend this venue!

To say this venue is amazing is an understatement. Both my husband and I are from north central West Virginia and couldn’t find anything we loved where we are from or where we are currently living. My now husband suggested Snowshoe, and we stumbled on a brand new venue that wasn’t even open yet. We didn’t realize we were stumbling on the best decision we could have made. From the views to the staff to the food, everything was perfect. The views are breathtaking. The balcony and folding doors allow you to feel like you are able to flow throughout the venue with ease. It truly allows you to feel like you are having an outdoor wedding without being outdoors (or keep it indoors if that is what you wish). The clean decor of the room allows you to make it your own with ease. Chef Ed may be one of the most talented chefs in West Virginia especially when feeding 200 people. All of the food for the rehearsal, the day of the wedding, and the brunch the next day was absolutely spectacular. Even the late night pizza was amazing (highly recommend late night snacks!!). The staff at the corduroy are seriously top notch. They made sure everything was perfect for everyone. Every detail was looked at three or four times, and they did not hesitate to help is with whatever we needed. Their coordinators, Jim Ed and Lydia, made sure we were taken care of the entire time. They are upbeat and caring and always down for a laugh in the middle of a busy wedding day. They take charge when needed. Most of our guests complimented how amazing entire staff was all weekend. Honestly, I’m tearing up writing this because of how attentive they were to us. They worked so well with our wedding planner, Isabella Leon, to make our day everything we wanted. We had some off the wall ideas that they were happy to go along with, and we were so grateful for that considering a lot of venues hesitate to go off the standard. We have heard absolute rave reviews from all of our guests. From the accommodations at the hotel to the wedding itself, everything review from our guests were 5 out of 5 stars. Even a week later, people are still complimenting the wedding, venue and especially, the food. If you are from WV, this is probably one of the best wedding venues to show your guests how beautiful our state is. If you are not from WV, please come and enjoy all West Virginia has to offer. If we could give The Corduroy Inn more than 5 stars, we would. I could go on and on with everything they did for us in a three day span and everything they did before the wedding weekend, but I don’t think the review will let me write that much. Thank you again Corduroy! You made our wedding weekend perfect!

My daughter's wedding was the first at the beautiful Corduroy Inn & Lodge. I would give it 10 stars!!! The setting, the food, the professionalism was absolutely top notch! We were blessed to have Jim Ed and Lydia as our wedding coordinators and they saw to it that every detail was executed to absolute perfection! This venue gave us everything we wanted in a mountain top wedding with the terraces that open to the outside and attached to the beautiful ballroom. The outdoor terraces are heated, so weather was not an issue. We are still getting compliments from our guests as to the beauty of the venue itself and how efficient the staff flipped the room from the ceremony with chairs and an alter, to the reception with tables, centerpieces, place settings, and a dance floor. All while the guests enjoyed cocktail hour with appetizers to die for! We had nearly 200 guests and their meals were plated and served warm and totally delicious. The chef is .... just beyond!You can't go wrong with this venue! Being able to stay onsite in one of the beautiful guest rooms was so convenient.I'm so thankful that we chose this venue. I'm so thankful that Jim Ed and Lydia were our coordinators. Truly friends for life.10 stars!!!!
