This stunning 200-year old estate, formerly a museum and private residence, is now-- for the first time in its history-- available for a limited number of events. We invite you to be a part of its venerable story-- to celebrate, dream, and be one of the very first couples to start their future here. The towering, wraparound stone walls-- designed to protect this National Historic Landmark-- also make it a secret, acre-sized world. Open the gates and step through the archway-tunnel to discover-- right in the heart of Providence-- an expanse of blooming lilacs, winding ponds, cobblestone paths, ivy-laced doorways, antique iron stables, an enchanted wooden carriage house, and the grace of centuries-old trees. Here we celebrate community. Here we celebrate unique visions. Here we unite the power of history with the power of new beginnings. Moreso in the ‘togetherness sector’ than the ‘wedding business,’ we offer renters a full day (and night) of access to the grounds, carriage house venue space and adjoining three-bedroom floor of suites. We invite you to gather, dream, design, DIY, or even mark the merging of family traditions with a grandma-led cookie workshop. My husband and I were lucky enough to get married at The Corliss-Carrington House last summer. I find it incredibly difficult to properly describe just how special and unique this place is but I will do my best. It took all of five steps through the tunnel into the perfectly vine-grown, nestled courtyard for my husband and I to look at each other and (without any words) know this was it. We had spent months prior searching for a place that wasn’t your typical, cookie cutter venue. A place that felt unique that we could make special and meaningful to us. And my goodness did we find just that. Little did we know then that this incredible place would exceed every possible expectation we had. It’s important to note that aside from the very obvious beauty of the Corliss-Carrington House, the entire experience leading up to our wedding day was smooth, easy, and honestly enjoyable. The owners, Lorne and Victoria, listened to all of our thoughts and ideas and were beyond supportive and helpful in making our wedding day dreams a reality. As I mentioned before, the absolute magic of this property and the genuine kindness and friendship that we have found in the owners is next to impossible to put into words but we feel incredibly lucky and grateful that we were able to experience it. We encourage and hope other couples are also able to experience all of the beauty the Corliss-Carringon House has to offer. If you’re considering getting married here, look no further! I promise, from the very bottom of my heart you will not be disappointed :)

We got married at the Corliss-Carrington House in June of 2022 and couldn't have picked a better place for our special day. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and the property has rooms available on site, ideal for family staying there. From the garden, to the carriage house, to the pergola, everything was picture perfect. It's a very unique historic home with quite the story behind it, which was ideal for someone who's looking for a non-typical, away from a cookie cutter wedding venue - this place has all the charm in the world.The owner and his wife were also very open to all our ideas and supported us throughout the entire process, we really felt welcomed and glad we could share our day with such wonderful people.I would recommend this to anyone!!
