The Cotillion is very special to me! My parents had their wedding there 37 years ago, my sister had her wedding there, and now our wedding was there last fall. The Cotillion is beautiful for pictures, they are extremely helpful and made sure everything ran smoothly. Our wedding was everything we wanted, food is excellent, my pictures were gorgeous, and I am so thankful we could have our wedding there.

The Cotillion is very special to me! My parents had their wedding there 37 years ago, my sister had her wedding there, and now our wedding was there last fall. We had our wedding here on September 23rd of 2023. Thereās a lot that goes into planning a wedding and some you have no idea about. George was so helpful in our almost 2 years of planning. He guided us through everything and was so honest, kind and patient. He gave us a list of vendors that he trusted completely to make this day the best it could be. The staff is so kind and helpful. The venue is always clean and welcoming. Thereās so much that goes into this day and as much as you plan there will be some bumps in the road. Here with George and Tony the sky could be falling and they will make sure you forget what ever went wrong somehow never happened. They go above and beyond and truly treat you like family. I would host so many more future events there and I trust them completely. To this day my guest were left amazed by this day and how the Cotillion does events. They remind us all the time how much fun they had, how good the food was and it was by far the best wedding theyāve been to. To us our guests were our top priority and to see how happy they were here was and will be unforgettable. My family and I are truly grateful to George and would recommend him and the Cotillion every time.

However George at Cotillion had exceeded all of my expectations. He told me over and over again not to worry and he eased my stresses leading up to the wedding. Then when it came to showtime on July 7, 2023 I canāt even express enough in words how amazingly George had handled everything. He made sure even the most minor details were were perfected, he kept our event following the itinerary at the correct times (which can get difficult with Desi weddings), he was so present and approachable to my family and I. Honestly the list goes on, I was just beyond impressed and so grateful that we had pursued cotillion through George specifically for one of the greatest events in our lives, and I will most definitely be bringing future parties to him! I had my wedding reception done here on April 30th, and I wanted to say that George and his crew were amazing and outstanding! I absolutely loved having my wedding reception here. The time and effort and dedication that George has put in and making sure all your needs are met did not disappoint. I have two other brothers whose wedding reception was also held here so I know what to expect and I was sure I had nothing to stress about because George was there to meet all my needs. George - if you are reading this, I want to personally thank you for making everything be a dream come true! You are truly like family and want to personally thank you. If I could, I would give you more than a 5 star rating. You surely went above and beyond to make sure everything was done according to the contract and went above of what I asked. You always took care of everything I had asked and made my wedding reception really memorable. 9/10/22 George and Tom helped make our wedding everything we dreamed of and more. George was so helpful throughout the whole process from the day of our first showing to the days after the wedding. He always found time to answer any of our questions or concerns. They continuously demonstrated that they cared and worked with us to make sure we got the best value from what we contracted them for not to mention they were extremely generous in their offerings. The main reason why we went with the cotillion was the following: big dance floor, great food, visually elegant by itself, and the people. We booked the front two rooms with 245 guests and there was plenty of room to spare on the dance floor despite us all on it which most venues cannot keep up with. Every guest I talked to at the wedding were raving about the food. Of all the weddings 30+ I've been to over the years, I've never been to one where people went out of their way to reiterate how good the food was throughout the night and reminisce afterwards. The lemon greek soup is a must. The front room includes a sizeable bridal suite with bathroom. The suite connects to the room by a visually appealing staircase as a nice entrance option. Our reception photos were stunning thanks to the interior elegance of the cotillion. We got to enjoy every second of our reception because George and Tom managed everything flawlessly. They are great people to work with, genuine people. We were happy giving them our business and helping support them. Basically there is no competition, the cotillion has excelled in all areas when it comes to a wedding venue.

He was able to capture our vision perfectly. The ceremony was beautiful! The french onion soup and steak were amazing, and our guests really enjoyed their food selection. I have been to quite a few weddings and the food at Cotillion was ranked at the top. The drinks were amazing and the bartenders were well experienced in providing all drinks our guests requested. The outside appearance of the venue was a huge factor for me as it was the first impression our guests would see, and Cotillion did not disappoint. I highly recommend Cotillion Banquets to anyone planning a wedding. The venue is beautiful, the food is amazing, the drinks were great, and George was fun, helpful, and great to work with, especially his attention to detail on the day of.

Despite a few hiccups the morning of the wedding, we really did love our big day at The Cotillion. Everyone who attended the wedding emphasized to us how beautiful of a venue it was and how amazing the food was. My mom said she had never been served hot soup at a wedding before mine! George gave us incredible recommendations for other vendors such as the photographer and florist and we were just as happy with them as we were with the venue. They definitely know what they are doing. The owner, Tom was there at the wedding too; it really shows how they care about their clients.

Where do I even begin??? George, Tom and the rest of the team at The Cotillion made my wedding dreams come true. From the minute I puled into the parking lot for my tour I was in love. The venue is a timeless, classic and gorgeous building inside and out. Their customer service skills are unbelievable. I never once had to stress about anything regarding The Cotillion during my wedding planning. George was so helpful from the beginning and is a master at what he does. The room was absolutely STUNNING, beyond my imagination of what it could look like. Every single detail was perfect. The service staff was incredible and so attentive . The food was unbelievable and timed to perfection. Just simply delicious. All of my guests raved about the food. The bar staff was so amazing, and fast as well! There was never a line at the bar. The Cotillion was the perfect place to have our wedding. We could not be more happy with our experience. 5 stars doesn't even come close to describing how truly professional, helpful, attentive, and lovely George, Tom and the Cotillion team were. I just cant say enough good things. We will absolutely be having future events here!!

7/15/2022 we had our wedding at this beautiful establishment! Everything was absolutely beautiful! George and Tom were the best and very accommodating! My guests were in total awe of everything!!! We are still getting calls of how beautiful things were and how good the food was! All of our guests raved on how they have never had food taste so good at a wedding! We didnāt hire a wedding planner, yet George walked us through everything we would need from beginning to end and the day was perfect! We canāt thank George, Tom, and their staff enough for such an amazingly perfect event!

George is the man! From day 1 onwards, we worked with George. He is very friendly and helpful with lots of creative ideas and gives referrals for preferred vendors. Whatever you wish for, George makes it possible. He gave us a tour of the kitchen where we saw dedicated chefs working tirelessly to serve the best food starting from soup. The food Cotillion serves is amazing-whether itās steak, salmon, or chicken- comes to each and every guest with a personal touch which is served fresh and warm directly from the kitchen and it just melts in your mouth. The staff is very friendly and cordial. The venue with its ambience is very elegant and unique. All our guests highly commented on the banquet hall and the service provided. George treats us like his own family and makes us feel very special every time we visit. Thanks so much George, Tom and all your staff members for making our sonās and his fiancĆ©eās engagement party outstanding on November 27,2021! This evening will always stay fresh in our memories. The food Cotillion serves is amazing-whether itās steak, salmon, or chicken- comes to each and every guest with a personal touch which is served fresh and warm directly from the kitchen and it just melts in your mouth. The staff is very friendly and cordial. The venue with its ambience is very elegant and unique. All our guests highly commented on the banquet hall and the service provided. George treats us like his own family and makes us feel very special every time we visit. Planning a wedding is stressful in itself but planning one during a pandemic and navigating through lockdowns and gathering restrictions presented a different kind of stress. Everything was so uncertain so it was such a relief to deal with a venue that was experienced and willing to do everything it could to make sure we had a beautiful wedding. George was such a great person to work with. He understood our concerns and assured us a wonderful wedding. We had visited 3 venues before we met with George. The other venues were beautiful too but the one thing that won us over the minute we sat down was George! He was so excited and described everything with such passion that we decided at that moment that there was no way we were going to get married without having someone like George taking care of all the details!! He was so kind to offer as free uplifting and when we asked if the two of us could get lobster tails with our dinner, he said he would treat us and give them to us for free!! Unfortunately with a lot of moving parts, the chef forgot to order the lobsters for us but Tom was kind enough to assure us that anytime we wanted, we could arrange for a private lobster dinner at Cotillion for free! Now if that isnāt great customer service, I donāt know what is!!! We will definitely be going back for that dinner lol š. We booked our event in July 2020 and unfortunately because of Covid it had to be rescheduled 3 times. Finally we got a date for August 15, 2021 and the event was a great success. What can I say about the hospitality that hasn't already been mentioned? George and his staff at the Cotillion exceeded our expectations and went above and beyond in every aspect of our event. My wife and I are Sikh and we had high expectations for our reception; from the food displays, to the floor layout, to the cleanliness, and even to our entrance. George took away our stress and tension and ensured us we were in great hands. From the very first meeting, George made us feel welcomed. Like nothing else matter and we were family. He listened, gave recommendations, told us what has worked in the past for others, and provided vendors that he has close relationships with. My wife and I were originally set to be married in July 2020. However due to COVID, we pushed out our wedding. The stress built up, but George reassured us that he'll be in our corner every step of the way. He checked up on us almost every 2-4 weeks. We worked through everything and rescheduled the reception. Fast forward to the day of the event, walking into the venue and seeing our vision turn into reality took our breathe away. The first person to greet us was George. He made sure we liked the layout, how the food was setup. He was on cue with everything. From the lights changing, the cake rolling out to even the food displays. He really makes you feel like he's apart of the family and ensure everything is perfect. I can't thank him enough for everything he's done. Even two months after the wedding George and I still connect. Again, for George you aren't a client, you are legitimately family and he'll go above and beyond for you. Thank you George for everything! Highly recommend the Cotillion and George for any function!! You won't be disappointed!

We booked our reception for June 2020 prior to the start of the COVID-19 Pandemic. We then had to reschedule for June 2021 and George was so accommodating throughout the entire process! Through lots of ups and downs due to the Pandemic and having to postpone, George and the Cotillion remained constant and worked with us every step of the way to make sure we still got everything we asked for and more. I was blown away by the way they took care of us, and worked with us. Throughout my wedding planning process, George was ALWAYS quick to reply to any question or concern I had. I NEVER had to wait long to get a reply from him whether through text or phone call. He was always very on top of everything and helped me right away whenever I asked for it. He was also very detail oriented and wrote down everything I asked for or we talked about to ensure I received the very best service and exactly what I wanted. George also made sure we got everything we asked for. Whatever we wanted or needed, we got! He was ALWAYS willing to work with us. Every time we visited the Cotillion (and of course on the day of our reception) everything was always very clean, put together and everyone we interacted with was very professional, friendly and helpful. The venue is beautiful - inside and out! Very classic and clean from the bathrooms all the way to the event rooms. The food was delicious! In my experience going to other wedding receptions and talking with friends, often times the food isn't as good as the tasting, but I thought the food at the Cotillion was delicious (both at the tasting and the actual event). And we received SEVERAL compliments from our guests saying the food was delicious! All of the waitstaff at our event were very professional, friendly and helpful. Not only was George helpful throughout the entire planning process of our event, but he himself was present at our event making sure everything was running smoothly and just the way we wanted it. We were so very grateful to him for that. I cannot recommend The Cotillion Banquets highly enough! You should definitely book your event with them whether it's for a wedding or another special occasion. You will not regret it!!! We booked the Cotillion prior to the pandemic. We looked at many different halls in different suburban areas before booking at the Cotillion. We felt so comfortable the moment we walked in and we were sold on the very first visit with George. We knew right away that this was the place over all the other halls we visited. They offer so much at an extremely competitive price. I didn't know exactly what to expect but we did have high expectations since it was our only daughter. Our expectations were met beyond our desires. Everything was perfect when we were finally able to have our reception. When the pandemic hit we didn't know what would happen or what to do. My daughter's wedding day was right in the early stages so we could not have the wedding/reception. Our dreams seemed shattered. But George and the owners were so helpful and accommodating. They helped us through the dilemma of what to do and moved our reception to the following year on almost the exact same date. My daughter wanted to get married anyway so we had a very small ceremony during the pandemic and waited to have the reception on our date at the Cotillion. Because of how much the Cotillion did for us, you could not tell that the wedding and reception were in two different years and separated. We had such a great celebration. They did so much for us and made the evening a grand success. The food was amazing! We had so many compliments on how good everything was. People couldn't believe it. We felt so honored and taken care of. I attended chef school as a trade and am very fussy about food. I can't say I expected great food since it is a banquet facility but it was probably the best food I have had at a wedding. We worked mostly with George who is at every party no matter what. He made sure every little detail was taken care of and did it with ease and expertise. I had the pleasure of also meeting one of the owners who was also there the night of our reception. They both kept checking in with us and making sure everything was okay, but they were not intrusive at all. We had a fabulous evening, they took care of every little detail. They made sure the temperature of the room was perfect for us, the food was hot and tasty, the cake was beautiful and good too, the room was perfectly lit and clean! Who has a good wedding cake? It was one thing to be able to find the perfect venue for our wedding. A venue so clean, vibrant, up to date, great location, and very accommodating. What we did not expect is to find a venue with people that cared as much as we did about our day!!!!!When Shenika and I met George, we immediately knew that The Cotillion Banquets was our home for our wedding. He was so genuine and friendly. He listened to all of our needs and made EVERYTHING HAPPEN. It was the wedding of my wifeās dreams and George did everything to make sure of that!We originally had a date set for March 13th, however, due to Covid restrictions, we had to change the date. We werenāt sure how that would work out but George made it happen without ANY concerns.George, Tom and the staff are WONDERFUL and we will be going back to the Cotillion for all of our major events!!! He was so genuine and friendly. He listened to all of our needs and made EVERYTHING HAPPEN. It was the wedding of my wifeās dreams and George did everything to make sure of that!We originally had a date set for March 13th, however, due to Covid restrictions, we had to change the date. We werenāt sure how that would work out but George made it happen without ANY concerns.George, Tom and the staff are WONDERFUL and we will be going back to the Cotillion for all of our major events!!! Even the staff at the bar was having a great time with us. That was amazing!We sincerely thank you for taking care of us and for caring!!!!!Because of George and the Cotillion Banquets team, our day was PERFECT!!!!!!!!!

On May 22nd 2021 Michael and I had the honor of getting married at the cotillian banquet hall in palatine. And it was a dream wedding come true! I remebwr when I met George after visiting 2 other places during covid and my husband and I couldn't agree on any of these places until George invited us on our last minute call to see the hall. After that the rest is a beautiful memory. He made my entire planning absolutely easy he gave me vendors that I would possibly need and start setting myself up with and it helped so much. Holly was our florist from ever story has a flower and the two of them together brought tears to my eyes when I entered the banquet hall the day of our wedding. The food was so hearty and delicious we chose the all inclusive combination plate with steak and chicken.. The meat was so delicious and just melted in your mouth. The chicken was cooked just right with such a delicious sauce. And let me tell you about the avgolemono soup.... You just need to go there and try it it speaks for its self! I felt like I expanded my family with the cotillian George and Tom were really welcoming and made sure our night was everything we dreamed of. They worked well with all our vendors and made sure we were 100 percent satisfied! Thank you thank you thank you for making life so easy we love you guys and your team see you for our next event!

When my fiance and I were reviewing vendors, The Cotillion stood out because of George, the man who runs the show. George is incredibly thorough, timely, understanding, and helpful. He guided us through a lot of our planning journey, showing us pitfalls that he has seen from his decades of experience, and navigating the unsure waters of wedding planning. Preparing for the worst and executing at a high level is what George does best. The moment we walked in, we knew this was where we were going to have our wedding. Any little doubts we had about the venue were washed away by the warm welcomes and the unbelievable nice treatment we got for Tom and George. Leading up to the wedding date, everything was so smooth. These guys are very nice and genuine and they know how to do business. We still cant decide what our favorite part of the wedding was. The place looked amazing (George IS AMAZING. Made the place look breathtaking. BEST GUY EVER) The food was delicious and the service was very good. Honestly, we cannot think of a single thing that was not perfect EVERYTHING was perfect. I still canāt decide what my favorite part of our event was, as George, Tom and the entire cotillion staff organized and helped us throw an amazing christening party for our daughter. From the first day we met George and saw this place ,we knew we had found the spot George was extremely helpful with changing our event date and drawing up a new contract without hassle. From the cake, to champagne for all our guests, to monitoring the buffet table(making sure it was not empty) and omg, the fruit tray was superb. I remember my husband enjoying some fruits after the party.All of our Nigerian friends and family had an amazing time and most certainly got nice pictures too. If you are looking for a space for your event, look no further. Irrespective of your number of guests, the parking lot can most definitely hold a rally. Lol. Our initial wedding date was August 22nd, 2020 before Covid-19 caused us to delay it to October 24th, 2020. If it werenāt for George and the team at the Cotillion being so flexible, I donāt know that our wedding would have happened this year and I know it wouldnāt have been as amazing of an event. We probably changed our wedding date 3-4 times between August and September trying to get all of our vendors on board, and the Cotillion always made it work for us to have a beautiful event.We were expecting to have roughly 225 people in a room for our wedding, but it had to be reduced to 50 in a room because of Covid. It was very important to us to keep our guests safe, and the Cotillion followed the state guidelines, but still allowed us to have 150 guests by utilizing all three rooms (at no additional charge to us!). It was a worry of mine that each room would look empty with only 50 guests, but George and the staff really delivered. The space was used excellently and the venue looked magical when the night came. If you meet with George youāll instantly see that he is extremely nice, but also very confident in his work to make your wedding dreams come true. Iāve now learned this confidence comes from his 20+ years of experience and that he will actually work so hard to make it happen, and he did for our wedding.We received so many compliments throughout the night and over the next few weeks after our wedding. Some compliments we received that I would like George, Tom, Gus, and the whole team for:āBest food Iāve eaten at a weddingāāDessert table looked and tasted amazingāāThe staff were so kind and cheerfulāāThe room looked beautiful with the lights and the color schemeāI canāt thank the Cotillion enough for how great of a job they did on our wedding. My now-husband and I didn't have the financial means to get a wedding planner but George was more than I could have asked for! He had amazing recommendations for photographers, limo services and floral shops; he made the planning enjoyable and not stressful! What I loved most about George is he would check in to see if I had booked other services for the big day! I am a very detailed person and George is just as detailed so he made everything perfect. We met a couple times to go over the event down to the time everything was going to happen. Everything was perfect that day and I am so glad I was able to work with a person like George. The venue was beautiful! The Cotillion should be your choice! The banquet hall was a perfect size. The decor matched the theme for my wedding. Also, the food was spectacular! Thereās a lot of stress planning a wedding but the team at the Cotillion, especially working with George, made the day effortless on mine behalf and I didnāt have to worry about a thing when it came to the reception. He made sure that we had a timeline for the night and advise us when we should cut the cake to our first dance and all the important details so our photographer can get those important pictures without the servers in our pictures. The venue was absolutely beautiful from all of the decors to every details on the each tables. The team at the Cotillion was very accommodating and worked with our budget and even went out of their way to help our vendors set up and letting my husband and I practice our first dance in another room while they set up. The servers and bartenders gave one of the best services to all of our guests which is amazing and very important to us. Our guests rave about the amazing food and the venue. George and the entire Cotillion crew really knocked it out of the park for our wedding. My wife and I were so happy with our experience at this venue. We had toured around twelve different venues and the Cotillion was the clear winner. Of all the venues we looked at, this one offered the best quality at the best price. We had multiple meetings with George in the year leading up to the wedding. The planning process was very thorough and there was never any doubt about how the day would run. George worked closely with us to make sure we got exactly what we wanted, including some upgrades to our package which were most appreciated.Ā As for the day of, we couldnāt have been happier with how everything went. When we arrived for our reception, we were absolutely blown away by how incredible the room looked. George and his crew made it look just like the fairy tale style my wife had in mind. The food was excellent (we offered beef, chicken, salmon, and a vegan option) and we received numerous compliments about its quality and taste. The night stayed mostly on schedule, although with the length of our toasts and there being two other events that night, some delays were understandable. As to there being other parties that night, you would have never guessed it from inside our ballroom. So, to anyone worried about competing noise volumes, you can rest easy. At the end of the night, clean-up was quick and we were able to stow some of our things at the venue overnight.Now, onto the most important part of this operation ā George. This guy is incredible at his job. He is thorough, organized, and absolutely professional. He will have you read his reviews, which he should because, like this one, they are very positive. George isnāt trying to oversell you on how good he is. He really is as good as he says. We felt so welcome at the Cotillion where George, Tom, Gus, and the entire staff truly treat you like family. They have a strong sense of hospitality and friendliness here that made for a very enjoyable experience. This guy is incredible at his job. He is thorough, organized, and absolutely professional. He will have you read his reviews, which he should because, like this one, they are very positive. George isnāt trying to oversell you on how good he is. He really is as good as he says. We felt so welcome at the Cotillion where George, Tom, Gus, and the entire staff truly treat you like family. They have a strong sense of hospitality and friendliness here that made for a very enjoyable experience. My wife and I hope to host more events here in the future and I canāt recommend this venue highly enough.

Where do I start? My husband and I went to tons of venues and none of them treated us like the Cotillion did. From the beginning George was there with any questions we had, let us come in anytime we needed, gave us recommendations for other vendors as well. Also gave us a tour of the kitchen! Not one place we went to did that. We knew when we left there we wanted to book. The whole process was amazing. No issues with anything. Last minute I wanted to change rooms and George made it happen! Even with having to reconfigure everything šThe day before our wedding when we were dropping our items off George let us know he couldnāt make it to our wedding for personal reasons. I was so nervous. George made it a point to come in at 4am that morning to set the items out we brought. He even sent me pictures the morning of our wedding! Which of course I was so happy with. Tom was with us that night and he was nothing short of amazing. He was right there when we walked in and made sure everything was perfect! It legit went so smooth I couldnāt ask for a better night. One of our guests was having a little too much fun and spilled and Tom was the one cleaning it up! At the end of the night he helped my mom pack everything up and she wouldnāt stop talking about how amazing he was! I received SO many compliments on the food! Everyone loved it! I couldnāt thank the Cotillion and their staff enough! You made our wedding dreams come true!

My husbae and I decided on this venue because not only was it so beautiful but George was OUTSTANDING from beginning to end!!! George and Tom were very welcoming and made us feel like family from the first visit. They are very kind and considerate as well. Everything George said heād do he did!! George is very detailed and specific which I loved because I am as well. When I didnāt understand something he didnāt hesitate to go back over it with me. Georgeās generosity was above and beyond. Despite George having a family situation that day, he kept a smile on his face for us and continued to make sure we were happy and taken care of, for that we are beyond grateful. My husbae said George helped him to feel comfortable before the wedding ceremony took place and he made it more personal than just business for the both of us which we are very thankful for.I didnāt like the lighting color I had originally chosen, so last minute George and Tom changed it for us which we really appreciated and the change made the room look amazing with our colors. Our room looked absolutely fantastic and everyone was in awe!! The food was delicious, especially the chicken and rice soup, everyone loved it and are still raving about it. There are plenty of opportunities for pictures from the outside gazebo to their beautifully decorated foyer. This venue is very well kept and clean, George did not hesitate to give us a full tour including the kitchen which we were very impressed by.We HIGHLY recommend this venue for your upcoming event!!

We had our reception at the Cotillion on August 18th, 2019 and it was just perfect! All of our guests (including our parents) were impressed by the hall and how seamless everything went. The hall was beautiful, the service was outstanding and George works with you to make sure everything is perfect. George thought of EVERY DETAIL ahead of time and made sure we were all on the same page about how every hour of the reception would be. George was so informative in general about the whole wedding process. He was always available to answer our many questions, walking us through all our options, meeting with us multiple times prior to the wedding, and even connecting us to other vendors that we needed for the wedding. The Cotillion banquet is also one of the few venues that accomodated outside catering, which was very important to us as we wanted to bring in a Nigerian caterer for the wedding. They were so receptive to accommodating cultural needs and ANY needs that we brought up and we are so grateful for that!Finding the Cotillion and most importantly having George there to help coordinate all aspects of our reception took a huge weight off our shoulders (especially as we didn't have a planner) and enabled us to really enjoy our wedding. The level of professionalism at the Cotillion is outstanding and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was flawless. We really felt like an extended member of the family with how well they took care of us. We cannot thank George and the entire staff of the Cotillion enough for making our wedding so memorable and so perfect.

We had our wedding here on June 1st, 2019. First and foremost, although the venue and food are amazing, the real reason to book this place is GEORGE. We were planning our wedding in Atlanta, GA and went to many places and called around Chicago area and everyone one was interested in only money and numbers. GEORGE was the only one to talk to us like family. Once we visited the banquet hall and met GEORGE , we didnāt need to think twice. This was the only venue we visited in Illinois.George will keep you on track with everything throughout the whole process and he is there every step of the way. For example, he made sure to keep us on track with getting the guest count, setting up the cake, decorations, event planners, and anything that was needed to make the day go smoothly. He goes above and beyond to make sure you will be taken care of. The night before our wedding he kept the place open just for us so the decorations could be done. The day of the wedding , he wouldnāt let the guests enter the room until he was sure my wife and I could finish our wedding pictures. His priority is going to be the bride and groom. He made sure the food was amazing and served impeccably. Even after the wedding day he personally helped us with taking things into the car. He really does make you feel like family. My wife and I were doing the wedding just by ourselves basically and George was our guide the whole way. He always will be upfront with you, give you the best options for your budget and it is extremely important to him that you feel its family environment and not just a business. I know all the guests were so happy with the wedding and especially the food and complemented on how professional his service staff were. During the wedding in the bridal sweet , his staff made sure everyone was taken care of all the time. George will be there day one and he will be there on the day of the wedding behind the scenes. He does not leave anything up to anyone but himself.

My parents first found this venue through a friend and after going to multiple places there was nothing that compared! Tom & George are the absolute best!!! We had the first two rooms of the banquet named Crown and Tiara we agreed on 400 people when we booked and long story short ended up with way over. George & Tom weāre both SO accommodating and when I say accommodating we mean it to the max. We ended up with 498 people and were so nervous every time we would add a couple people but they were so calm and made everyone fit with enough space to comfortably move around. Our florist was able to easily work with Cotillion Banquetsās as well to make the wedding of our dreams really come true! The night of our wedding there was also another wedding in the back room and we received sooo many compliments on our room from their guests. We had a Romanian wedding, and Romanians are very picky when it comes to food but not one guest complained about the food and everyone was amazed and told us how amazing it all was. From the appetizers to the main course everyone ate and was filled. Our bridal party couldnāt wait for the next platter to come out with our appetizers thatās how amazing they were. We had only good reviews about the food, room, and service from every guest. Our servers were so respectful and did their job diligently. What can we say, everything we wanted for our reception, we received AND MORE. George and Tom made it happen. They are truly wonderful people that we can say we grew a friendship with and it was not only business. We urge all who are looking for venues to stop looking anywhere else and make an appointment at the cotillion. We promise you will not regret your decision!!!! From the beginning of the wedding planning through our wedding day we were incredibly impressed with the Cotillion. Starting from our first visit meeting with George we could tell the Cotillion was a family atmosphere. When we toured the facility, we saw everyone from the owner to the staff working together to prepare for an event that evening. During the wedding planning, George was enjoyable to work with. His servant heart showed through when with each request his reply was alwaysāno problem.ā At the same time using his many years of expertise, George kindly guided us to wise decisions that we would not have thought of otherwise. The day of the wedding was stress-free for us because of all the work George and his staff put into the setup and logistics. During our reception, the staff was incredibly attentive and Tom the owner checked in with us several times throughout the night to make certain everything was going well. We had several people tell us the evening was one of the best receptions they had attended. In particular, people express that the food was delicious. We had several guests with special dietary needs and the Cotillion accommodated all of their needs with ease. Overall, we could not have asked for a better experience throughout the entire wedding process thanks to Tom, George, and staff!

His servant heart showed through when with each request his reply was alwaysāno problem.ā At the same time using his many years of expertise, George kindly guided us to wise decisions that we would not have thought of otherwise. The day of the wedding was stress-free for us because of all the work George and his staff put into the setup and logistics. During our reception, the staff was incredibly attentive and Tom the owner checked in with us several times throughout the night to make certain everything was going well. We had several people tell us the evening was one of the best receptions they had attended. In particular, people express that the food was delicious. We had several guests with special dietary needs and the Cotillion accommodated all of their needs with ease. Overall, we could not have asked for a better experience throughout the entire wedding process thanks to Tom, George, and staff!

He truly loves his job and wants to make sure your wedding day is exactly what you want it to be. He worked within our budget and we were able to get what we asked for. George answered all calls and emails very quickly and also sent me pictures of decor options too. On the day of the wedding, my daughter cried tears of happiness, when she walked into the ballroom. The room was absolutely stunning! We received so many compliments on the dinner entrees. The wait staff and bartenders were very attentive and friendly. From the first moment we walked into the Cotillion we were astonished. I had seen many beautiful venues but this one struck me as a beautiful, classic and timeless venue. The rooms are filled with alluring crystal chandelierās with warm light, that give off a wonderful ambiance. We worked with George the whole time whoās job was to please us and and deliver our vision, and he couldnāt have executed any better than he already did. From the moment we shook hands, to the time we finalized our contract, to the end of our wedding night, heās treated us like we were his own family. We couldnāt have been happier to work with George, he truly made us feel like the skyās the limits in anything we want. We also worked with the owner, Tom, and his brother, they are wonderful people. You can truly rely on having your event here. The food is outstanding, we had chicken, steak and potatoes with vegetables. They were also able to accommodate and please our vegetarian guest, which we really appreciated. We had a tons of compliments from our guest about the food and venue. We feel like we made all the right choices and we couldnāt be more grateful to George and everyone at the cotillion for all of their help. We used most of their recommendations in vendors also, which we really appreciated because wedding planning could get a bit overwhelming. 5 star all around, thank you again!

One of the biggest decisions we had was choosing a hall to hold our wedding reception. When we first walked into The Cotillion we were met by Tom. He made us feel like we were family. The more we talked the more comfortable we felt. He walked us through the building and he was knowledgeable and so cordial. By the end of our first meeting, we knew this is where we needed to have our reception. When we met for the tasting he explained to us his process of how the food is made and nothing was precooked or staged. That made a world of difference to us. We knew our guests were going to be getting a hot fresh meal. Tom left no stone unturned, he walked us through everything. From the time we arrived at the Cotillion to the time we walked out the door at the end of our party. We knew everything that was going to happen, when it was going to happen, and how it was going to happen. He went out of his way to meet with our entertainment to make sure that they had everything they needed as well. He made us feel so at ease and comfortable. There is no place I would trust more to handle such a precious event.

Simply put, we couldnāt have had a better wedding experience. After seeing multiple wedding venues nothing compared to The Cotillion. We were on our way home after seeing another venue and noticed The Cotillion was close by. We called to inquire and George answered and was able to give us a tour of the venue right away. After seeing the rooms and meeting with George we knew The Cotillion was for us. George treated us like Family from the moment we walked through the doors. Throughout the whole wedding process George was very informative and responsive. He answered every question we had, even when we called multiple times a day. George was very helpful and is very attentive! Fast forward to our wedding day, everything ran smoothly, on time, and the food was absolutely delicious! I am the pickiest eater ever and they catered to my dietary requests. The Cotillion (George) is also very cautious with their guests and any food allergens. George finds a way make sure all guests are happy. The room was absolutely beautiful. Better than what we could have imagined it to be. We are so grateful to George, Tom, and the wonderful staff for making our wedding so memorable. Our guests are still talking about how wonderful everything was.

No lie I am a picky Italian. My whole family just loved it. The staff that served us were also wonderful and the bartenders ARE so cool.

We checked out other venues, but we knew when we left our meeting with George that the Cotillion was where we wanted our wedding. George makes you feel like a friend or family member from day one and he truly cares about helping you plan and deliver the wedding you want. His enthusiasm is infectious and he takes a lot of the stress of planning away. Youāll wish he didnāt work so hard the day of your wedding so he could just attend as a guest.George promised us a number of things when we first met him: the best value for your money, the best food youāll have at a wedding, the hall set up just the way you want, everything running on time so you and the guests can hit the huge dance floor, and great service all night. George has been our go-to guy for both events. 07/11/2015 - Our Wedding Reception - 288 peopleLate is better than never - after doing quite a bit of research on availability, customer service, and price, Cotillion Banquets did not disappoint. Out of all the banquet halls we visited, Cotillion, specifically George, was the most personable and reasonably priced locations we were able to find. ALL other locations in the area either charged for ridiculous things, didn't care if we used them or not, and just didn't feel right. Planning a wedding can be very stressful and overwhelming, but George made it easier by being available and flexible with our needs and exceeded our expectations when it came to the day- of. He was very personable and easy to work with throughout the whole process. Although, his easy-going personality switched over on the day- of to one of professional and seriousness, which was absolutely needed considering there are SO many moving parts on the day-of. ALL other locations in the area either charged for ridiculous things, didn't care if we used them or not, and just didn't feel right. Planning a wedding can be very stressful and overwhelming, but George made it easier by being available and flexible with our needs and exceeded our expectations when it came to the day- of. He was very personable and easy to work with throughout the whole process. Although, his easy-going personality switched over on the day- of to one of professional and seriousness, which was absolutely needed considering there are SO many moving parts on the day-of. \"Wedding of the Century\" is what my guests were saying following my Sept. 22 Greek Wedding at the Cotillion! George did exactly -- and I mean exactly -- what I wanted in regard to all of my specific requests for the room set-up and tables. He also combined two backdrop designs for us on a special request and it was absolutely stunning! I chose golds and purples for colors and it was marvelous. The entrance was dreamy and the head table was amazing! When I got to the venue to see the room, I was in shock! It was gorgeous and better than I pictured it! George has a special touch and he truly made the room romantic. Something a bride truly dreams of! Many of the guests commented on how good the appetizers were as well as the beautiful, elaborate sweets display. The magnificent white dance floor is to die for and was the reason I chose the venue in the first place!! My photos of first dance and Daddy/daughter dance are a dream! And it honestly was my dream wedding!! I did not want the day to end! George did a wonderful job capturing the vibe and Greek Island feel that I asked for and used my decor perfectly. He is very detailed and as he will tell you, he does care for each and every bride! I loved that he came to visit our head table and personally communicated with me and my husband that evening. It made us feel cared for and his attentiveness to us and to my family was really top notch! Hospitality is a Greek thing and they do it so well! He worked amicably with other vendors for the day, especially the florists, and I did not need to worry about the end result. They had it handled. George also allowed both bride and groom to request special meals and made certain everyone with food allergies was taken care of! The only negatives were that the staff broke my expensive custom cake topper (I hope I can get a new one...)by not following the directions for how to support it on the cake and also the service for dinner was really slow. We actually had to abruptly end dessert service because it was nearly 10:00 PM and we wanted to start the dancing since people were leaving. They did make-up for this delay by allowing us additional dancing time instead of ending right at 11:30 per our contract. One of the highlights of the night was Tom catching my mother as she fell from the stairs! He saw it happening, scooped her up, and gently put her on the ground without a scratch! He knew if the Mother of the Bride fell it would not be a pretty sight! He was such a gentleman about it and we were all happy he caught my lovely mother! I could not have asked for a more beautiful room and evening through and through. We only wished service was faster and that the lights for the backdrop were not so close to the chairs as my clumsy bridesmaids and groomsmen kept tripping over them! Maybe something they can consider with set-up in the future. At any rate, Tom and George and the Cotillion staff are great people and I hope to host another event there in the future. Thank you, Cotillion, for making my wedding fairy-tale come true!

Cotillion Banquets is the best!!! My family has had over 8 weddings here now and theyāre always so good to us. After our original venue selection fell through due to poor communication and organization on the part of the only event planner there, we were devastated. We found the Cotillion by recommendation and couldn't be happier with the result. From the moment we walked in, George listened to our details and vision and helped bring it all together. He worked with us based on our budget and we had so much more than we ever expected in the end, especially considering we planned the entire thing in 8 weeks! If you have a vision, talk to George and he will make it happen. The food is absolutely the best wedding food we or any of our guests have ever had - all fresh made, wonderfully seasoned and cooked with care. We had the NY Strip, Salmon, and Pasta options for our guests. The cake from The Baking Institute was also delicious; a perfect partner bakery for a location that cares so much about the details they offer to couples and others planning events at the Cotillion. George and his team keep the communication open; if you email them, they will call you back (it's awesome). Budget friendly, delicious food and desserts, beautiful venue - cannot go wrong.

We even had George participate in a video we filmed, which he gladly agreed to do and knocked it out of the park. Tom the owner was very nice and was seen many times helping out with everything. I don't think you will see an owner doing the dirty work anywhere else. In the end, we could not be happier we chose the Cotillion for our wedding. George, Tom and their entire staff made our fairytale wedding come true! Wow highly recommend booking your wedding or any other event at the Cotillion. You will not be disappointed.

We cannot begin to express how absolutely amazing the Cotillion is. Especially the one and only.. George. He truly is to thank for running our ENTIRE wedding. Every dream I had for my wedding came true, and George worked with my family and I hand in hand to create the PERFECT fairy tale. He knew exactly what to do, what would like good, how to organize, and so much more. We first booked the biggest room and even though the Cotillion would have gotten more money from us, they were honest and said with our guest size, we would be paying a lot of unnecessary money to be in the biggest room. We listened, and they were so RIGHT! We barely met the minimum of the small room, AND it was still absolutely gorgeous. They are genuine and wanted us to get what we actually needed and werenāt just trying to make money. They literally had everything set up PERFECTLY. I even had fish as my centerpieces and they had no problem working with that hassel. The room was lite up with over 100 candles, everything looked like a picture, and everything George had promised came true. Then, the day of the wedding, George was there making sure everything went smoothly. He came to check on me a couple of times. He overheard me asking my mom for some water in the hallway and next thing I know he is back with an iced cold glass of water. When we got to the Cotillion we were running about 20 minutes late. He didnāt get frustrated at all, he said take your time, whenever youāre ready we will get started. The one suggestion I have is to make sure the temperature is set extra low. It was pretty warm in the room, we had to request the temperature be lowered a few times! They did handle it once we asked! Anyway, I could go on and on about how beautiful the Cotillion is and how AMAZING George is. However, I will end with this, I could not have been more blown away with this venue. I would recommend the Cotillion and George to ANYONE getting who is getting married.

This place has great reviews, but maybe people are easily impressed. I had my shaadi and marriage ceremony here for about 400 people. I worked with George, who is a nice guy, with great reviews online. I was more easy going with the process and trusted him because he said he's done a lot of desi/ south Asian weddings and knew what he was doing. George assured me through the process that everything would run smoothly during my wedding and he had everything handled. That wasn't exactly the case, as many things were handled badly during the wedding. 1.) food setup: I had told George the order of events beforehand so he knew when the food should be set up. Once my speeches were done, we asked George about the food and he was scurrying across the room and stated it would be 10 more minutes. I'm not sure why the buffet wasn't already set up when we had gone through the plan beforehand. 2.) service: my family tables were served family style where the food was brought to them. This went smoothly, but my husband's cousin had to get food for us from the buffet and set it aside at the sweetheart table. I would assume the servers or George would make sure of that detail. When my husband and I were at the sweetheart table, we had no napkins and often had to ask our family members to get us things. It was very difficult to track down any waiters because they seemed more interested in clearing the plates. 3.) speaking of clearing the plates, the servers went around with these huge cafeteria style carts to put plates and glasses on while some of my guests were still there. They were an eyesore and I've never seen anything like that. At my other banquet, they just cleared the plates normally. Maybe they needed to hire more servers. 4.) I left my stuff in the bridal room which I assumed would be ok because it's the bridal room for the bride's stuff. However, as I was leaving, I was told the bridal room was locked which was just a wonderful thing to hear right as I'm supposed to walk out That just shows lack of coordination to me. My family had to track someone down to unlock it and my stuff delivered to me later on. Basically, most things about my wedding were good due to things other than the banquet hall or the people servicing it. The decor was beautiful because of the decorator, the food was good because of the caterer. We got what we paid for but the service wasn't anything exceptional.Just as a warning to brides,if you decide to go with this place, make sure you're more on top of the person managing your events. Otherwise, you'll spend more time hearing about the excellent service later than receiving it. Service is overall just average. Nothing impeccable.

That wasn't exactly the case, as many things were handled badly during the wedding. 1.) food setup: I had told George the order of events beforehand so he knew when the food should be set up. Once my speeches were done, we asked George about the food and he was scurrying across the room and stated it would be 10 more minutes. I'm not sure why the buffet wasn't already set up when we had gone through the plan beforehand. 2.) service: my family tables were served family style where the food was brought to them. This went smoothly, but my husband's cousin had to get food for us from the buffet and set it aside at the sweetheart table. I would assume the servers or George would make sure of that detail. When my husband and I were at the sweetheart table, we had no napkins and often had to ask our family members to get us things. It was very difficult to track down any waiters because they seemed more interested in clearing the plates. 3.) speaking of clearing the plates, the servers went around with these huge cafeteria style carts to put plates and glasses on while some of my guests were still there. They were an eyesore and I've never seen anything like that. At my other banquet, they just cleared the plates normally. Maybe they needed to hire more servers. 4.) I left my stuff in the bridal room which I assumed would be ok because it's the bridal room for the bride's stuff. However, as I was leaving, I was told the bridal room was locked which was just a wonderful thing to hear right as I'm supposed to walk out That just shows lack of coordination to me. My family had to track someone down to unlock it and my stuff delivered to me later on. Basically, most things about my wedding were good due to things other than the banquet hall or the people servicing it. The decor was beautiful because of the decorator, the food was good because of the caterer. We got what we paid for but the service wasn't anything exceptional.Just as a warning to brides,if you decide to go with this place, make sure you're more on top of the person managing your events. Otherwise, you'll spend more time hearing about the excellent service later than receiving it. Service is overall just average. Nothing impeccable.

That particular day we had visited multiple venues searching for the perfect place to host our wedding reception, and after continual disappointment randomly visited here. George greeted us at the door with a smile, a shake of the hand, and from there on out became our new best friend. The venue itself will make you want to host your event there, but George puts this place over the top.George bent over backwards for us to ensure that every single detail was discussed, planned, discussed again, and planned again. He left no stone unturned, was incredibly thorough, and had tons of fun and made us laugh throughout the process. And for those of you who meet George and think heās just a smooth talker, please take this review to heart and know this: everything that George says he will do for you, he means it and it gets done. Even the slightest detail! We ordered house salads for everyone at the reception, but my wife wanted a Caesar for herself, and George made sure even something as small as that salad was taken care of for us. This was only one of seemingly hundreds of details that George made sure were perfect for our day.The reception itself was absolutely stunning. We received nothing but compliments all night from family and friends who, frankly, were speechless at the beauty of the venue, the taste of the delicious food (their bread is home made and FANTASTIC) and the friendliness of the wait staff and bartenders. I can type a book of thanks and positive praise for the Cotillion. They treated us with the upmost respect, LOVE, and care. This was the best day of our lives, and we are so happy, proud, and BEYOND satisfied with our experience with such a genuine group of professionals. George, Tom, and all the Cotillion staff members represent the pinnacle of what venues should strive to be.

Ok so here I go.... I just got married st the Cotillion on 10/14/17. I came to the Cotillion just weeks after being engaged and met George. I brought my parents and they immediately fell in love; I thought if George can handle my family, then I'm making the right decision. The entire process George made me feel so comfortable and so important and valued as if I was his only customer. Respond to emails and phone calls the same day. If you get to know George, you'll think he sleeps at the banquet! He really spends his time with you making sure you are happy. The week of the wedding, I was so stressed and he kept telling me to relax he will take care of everything. The day of the wedding, I was speechless. The entire room was exactly what I had pictured. He was in and out of the room the entire night making sure everything was ok and was so attentive. I cried tears of happiness at one point of the night when I hugged George. The guests are raving about the food. Everything was amazing and I will book again with Cotillion in a heartbeat. Thank you George and thank you Tom and staff for one unforgettable night.

If you are getting married in this area and you donāt book the Cotillion you are CRAZY!!!! George is the most helpful person we worked with during the whole planning process. He made us feel like friends and not customers from the first day we meet with him. He was full of great ideas for other vendors we could use. George saved us so much money both at the Cotillion and with referrals. We were going to hire a wedding coordinator but didnāt need to because of how helpful everyone was. Until we meet the owners, I was convinced that George was an owner because no employee goes that above and beyond for someone else. The owners were so helpful as well. One of our guests has severe allergies to multiple foods and the owners made sure that she would be able to enjoy her meal and evening as much as everyone else. All in all I canāt say enough about how helpful and accommodating everyone was. I couldnāt happier with our decision to go with the Cotillion. Our wedding day was more beautiful than we could have imagined and went off without a hitch. Everything was absolutely perfect. We did our research on many different venues, My wife and I came across The Cotillion at the exact same time. We immediately contacted George at The Cotillion to set up a meeting so we can come in and take a tour. From the first moment that we stepped into The Cotillion we immediately fell in love. We were welcomed by George. George answered all our questions without any problems, he showed us the rooms and spent countless hours with us to help make our wedding perfect. He helped take the pressure off of my wife and I and made wedding planning that much easier. He helped us find our vendors that we used for our wedding. We couldn't be more grateful for his help. He is so easy to work with, He was very fast at responding to our emails, and letting us come in and talk about details for our wedding. We were originally going to have the wedding in the Tiara room but we got bumped to the bigger room for no extra charge, When it came to the day of the wedding. The service was fantastic,The servers are attentive and more than willing to go out of their way for you. The appetizers and food were great, Everyone was raving about how fantastic the food and appetizers were. George and Tom both checked on us throughout the evening to make sure everything was going smooth and if we needed anything. We are so glad we went with the Cotillion. We couldn't have picked a better wedding venue for our wedding. George and Tom are truly one of a kind and great at what they do. If you are looking to get married then look no further, The Cotillion is everything you are looking for. You will not be disappointed. I know we weren't. They were right on schedule with all of our food for us and our guests. Before the wedding I was able to go in and change things to my specifications. I did not want any soup or salad. We wanted to bring in appetizers from a Russian deli and we were able to work it out to make that happen. Tom was very accommodating to all of my wishes. He is amazing to work with and he would tell me if something I wanted would either not be doable or not turn out the way I wanted it to. This is the best place for any kind of wedding. I had a Russian/American wedding, but they have hosted almost any kind of wedding you can think of, from Indian to Jewish to American to Orthodox. \rI would send all of my friends and family to go here!!!

I had a Russian/American wedding, but they have hosted almost any kind of wedding you can think of, from Indian to Jewish to American to Orthodox. \rI would send all of my friends and family to go here!!!

My husband and I looked quite a number of banquet halls before deciding on having our wedding at The Cotillion. We had difficulty finding a venue that was large enough to fit the size of our wedding, but wouldn't cause us to go over budget. The Cotillion was able to meet all of our needs and exceed our expectations. We worked with George, who was absolutely wonderful. We thought we would need to scale back, but he found ways for us to have all that we desired and be able to afford it. He went out of his way to ensure that we had a wonderful wedding and was really helpful. I had a wonderful experience working with The Cotillion!

We cannot say enough great things about The Cotillion! From the moment we walked in the door the first time to the night we walked out after our reception, we could not have asked for a better experience. George is a saint and the hardest working guy in the industry. You always get his undivided attention, and that goes for everyone he serves. He made sure that absolutely everything we wanted was taken care of, and he even went above and beyond to make recommendations for our special day because he knows The Cotillion so well. He even scheduled his vacation around our wedding to make sure that he was there for the prep and the day of. The food was incredible. (As a side note: I would recommend asking that they not bring on the food on metal crates) We had the a scrumptious array of hors d'oeuvers, incredible broccoli soup (comes with mouth-watering bread), the Cesar salad, vodka pasta, Chicken Florentine (Oh my goodness), veggies and potatoes, cake, ice cream sundaes, and a gorgeous dessert table. Our guests are still talking about how good the food was! It was nice and hot, too! I cannot say enough about the food and white-glove service. The room looked absolutely stunning. It was even better than we imagined when we planned the day with George. He was such a pleasure to work with and treated us like family throughout he experience. The Cotillion is the perfect place for a wedding, and it makes for gorgeous pictures! We love George, we love The Cotillion, we want to go back and live it again!!

I had my wedding booked at Bristol Court in Mt. Prospect and in March they went bankrupt and stole 5,000 dollars from me. I was left trying to find a venue with my wedding in less than 4 months. I came to the Cotillion and from the moment I met George I knew they were going to take great care of me. They gave me a amazing deal and thy were so kind. They graciously answered every question I had and every time I wanted to know if we could do something else they always said yes. The food was seriously unbelievable. If you want to have a stress free wedding, amazing food, and to have the wedding of your dreams then have your wedding there! I couldn't have imagined a more wonderful day!

This place was amazing and Tom was the best. Considering that this was a second option to our first being a horror story, they completely made up for it 110 times then I would have imagined. Only negative was we were offered a different type of beer and wasn't given also we paid for extra plates and didn't receive the food. Other then that I WOULD DEF RECOMMEND!!!!!
