Susan Honowitz is a pleasure to work with. She definitely took the time to work with me for our rehearsal dinner. Everything was perfect. The food was delicious, we had the Italian buffet. I definitely recommend this venue. The facility is beautiful

Beyond happy and impressed with Country Club of Hilton Head. Event Coordinator, Susan made every little detail perfect and is so well versed in weddings and events. She truly made everything that we imagined and selected come together perfectly! The grounds are beyond gorgeous, all event spaces we used were exceptional and met every expectation and need we had. We truly had a perfect wedding day and majority of that lends to this wonderful venue, Susan and the staff at CCOHH!

I had the most amazing Christmas wedding reception at the country club of Hilton Head! I could go on for days how perfect everything was! I worked with Susan Honowitz my entire 6 month engagement planning my dream reception. She was kind, professional and knowledgeable about all things events and weddings! Not one detail went unnoticed. Susan and all of the staff at the country club made everything beyond my Christmas wedding dreams! The food was phenomenal as well as the service! We highly recommend the country club of Hilton Head!

When planning my wedding my first choice location was already booked for the wedding date that I wanted. I am now very happy that it was. The Country Club of Hilton Head was the perfect venue for my wedding. They had a few options for the ceremony which even included a backup location inside if it there had been rain. That was a big thing I was looking for because I wanted to make sure I was covered if there had been a chance of rain. Thankfully it was beautiful and sunny. From when I signed my contract to when I started the actual planning there was a change in staff and Emily took over as the private event director. Since I use to plan events it was very difficult for me to give up control on my wedding day. Once I sat down and met with Emily I knew that everything would be in good hands. The Country Club was very receptive to our ideas on what we wanted for our wedding menu which even included mac & cheese. My husband is also an avid golfer and had scouted the golf course for some photo locations that we could use. We have only received a few of the photos but we were able to capture a beautiful sun set from the 12 hole as well as got a few shots that show the beautiful backdrop that is Hilton Head Island. We loved our special day at the Country Club of Hilton Head and we will be back in future years when we visit the island since it is now a special part of our lives.

The Country Club went through 4 wedding coordinators from the time we booked the venue to when our wedding was. The information about our wedding was not passed along to each new wedding coordinator and one was let go 30 days before our wedding. The new one for our wedding was horrible at planning and coordinating. During the rehearsal, she sat in a chair and expected me to run it. She did not show up on our wedding day until 2 hours prior when we had to call her ourselves. I was so worried that everything was going to fall apart, I did not trust her to follow through. Very disappointed with the service. The food was excellent and the location was gorgeous. If they hire a good coordinator who knows what he/she is doing, it would easily be a 5 star rated venue.
