I was the MOH in a wedding here earlier this year. Kendra, the owner was incredibly rude to the wedding party throughout the day. The part that really stood out to me was when I was assisting the brides elderly grandmother to the front for a picture with the bride after the ceremony. Kendra and team were moving tables into place for dinner. I asked her if she could wait a moment to move this table so grandma could come though and she said there would be enough room, I told her grandma had a walker and is unsteady. Kendra replied back grandma would be fine and proceeded to move a table right into the path of grandma. I told Kendra that I thought she was being rude and disrespectful. She just started back at me. Additionally, the bridal party were told they could get two drinks before the wedding from the bar which she refused to serve to other members of the party because she was ā too busy to be botheredā. Lastly she had a face of disgust while bussing tables, you would think the owner would be smiling. The bridal suite is too small and the grooms loft is huge, just a warning if you are going to get ready with a large bridal party. Overall a venue is beautiful, but Kendra really rubbed people the wrong way. I would recommend to proceed with caution when booking this venue.

Country Lane Lodge (venue & staff) was absolutely perfect for our wedding! Kendra, Erin and the rest of the CLL staff are the easiest and nicest people to work with. They helped with so many questions during the wedding planning process and were so hands on and helpful on the day of our wedding. The venue was absolutely beautiful. We did an outdoor ceremony, indoor/outdoor cocktail hour, and outside dancing and reception (we loved the outside dance floor)! There are so many great spots for pictures, indoor and outdoor. The venue offers so much beauty that we didnāt need too much decor. We decorated the pergola, tables, and mantle with flowers and used a wide range of decor that CLL had for us to use. We could not have picked a better venue or staff, our wedding was everything we imagined and we canāt thank Kendra and her team enough! They truly went above and beyond to help us with everything on the day of our wedding and leading up to it. Thank you all for making our special day so amazing! We would highly recommend CLL to anyone for a wedding!

Where do I even begin! Kendra and Alex were fabulous! Their planning spreadsheet is incredibly thorough and really walks you through the whole day. Our wedding day was amazing, we were greeted at the door and there was always staff around to help with little things. They also did a great job communicating during the day and made sure things were running smoothly! 10/10 would book again!

Country Lane Lodge was the perfect venue for our special day. The CLL team was incredibly helpful beginning with the venue touring process through all of the details on the big day! The bridal suite and groomās loft provided the perfect spaces to get ready, and the guest bathrooms were spacious and clean. Plenty of guest parking was an added bonus. You canāt go wrong with CLL!

I feel so lucky to have found Country Lane Lodge for my wedding venue! When we toured the venue, we immediately knew that we wanted to be married there. Their outdoor ceremony area is absolutely beautiful, and was exactly what I imagined for my big day. The inside of the lodge is huge, and the chandeliers and wood really made it seem like a dream. From the beginning, they were so easy to work with. Kendra and Molly helped so much throughout the planning process - I really donāt think I could have planned it without them! They made sure that everything was in order and brought up things I would have never thought about so that the big day ran smoothly. My husband and I keep talking about how perfect our day was and how nothing went wrong, and I think a big part of that was due to Country Lane Lodge and their staff. Kendra and Molly, I canāt thank you enough for everything you did leading up to the big day and everything you did on our big day. Kendra and Molly were amazing to work with! When I first saw the venue I knew immediately that I wanted to have the ceremony amongst the trees. Kendra went above and beyond working with me in order to have the ceremony where I wanted it, and it turned out perfect. They were both so helpful with making sure everything went smoothly on the day of the wedding and helped with anything we needed. The venue offered a quiet and beautiful location to get married and provided a gorgeous background for all of our pictures.

Kendra and Molly were extremely helpful in making our big day perfect - they were very responsive, friendly & flexible with all of our questions throughout the planning process and made things much easier leading up to the big day. The venue's online planner was also very helpful during the planning process & helped us to proactively manage details we wouldn't have thought of before the big day - this was so helpful in reducing stress leading up to our wedding! They also have great insights & tips from previous brides of what has worked well at their location. On the big day we felt very supported by the Country Lane Lodge staff, helping us to manage the vendors and set-up process throughout the day and into the evening. We couldn't recommend Country Lane Lodge enough!

Our venue was one of our favorite parts of our wedding! We originally booked it pre-Covid, thinking we would have up to 300 guests, though because of Covid, our guest count was much lower. Kendra and Molly were great to work with. The property has so many places to take photos. We had lots of guests tell us how pretty the venue was! We would recommend!

Kendra and her team were great to work with! She answered all of the questions that I had throughout the planning process. She responded back in a timely manor whether it was by email or phone call. She helped me find other vendors in the area since I didn't know the area well. Even during Covid, they were upfront with everything from changing the date to what restrictions and changes had to be made. On top of having a great team to work with, the venue is gorgeous! We received so many compliments on how beautiful it looked.

Kendra and her team were great to work with! She answered all of the questions that I had throughout the planning process. She responded back in a timely manor whether it was by email or phone call. She helped me find other vendors in the area since I didn't know the area well. Even during Covid, they were upfront with everything from changing the date to what restrictions and changes had to be made. On top of having a great team to work with, the venue is gorgeous! We received so many compliments on how beautiful it looked.

Kendra and the staff at Country Lane Lodge were excellent! We had no issues and they were very accommodating. We would not have chosen any other venue for our winter wedding. Thank you Country Lane Lodge!

Kendra was a pleasure working with through our entire wedding planning process! She had a lot of things covered that we hadnāt even thought about, which took a lot of things off our task list. The venue is clean, grand, and beautiful. We had so many compliments from guests on how perfect the venue was. It is quiet and the outdoor ceremony space was great because everything is all on site. The reception flowed without a hitch she took care of all of our needs. She doesnāt nickel and dime you for every little detail, which you canāt find most places. The alcohol was reasonably priced and you can bring all of the venders you want on site. The bride and groom spaces made getting ready a breeze. Couldnāt recommend a venue more!!

The price is a lot, but to be expected for the accommodations. The owner was easy to work with, at times hard to get a hold of but once we did she answered all my questions. I met the owner of this property recently at a bridal show in Des Moines. Having been engaged for only a month, we have not solidified our venue at this time. When this woman asked when I was getting married (planning on Oct 2020), she spat \"ha! well good luck getting a venue if you haven't done it already. We wouldn't have availability until Dec. next year\". I found this response incredibly rude and uncalled for. Not only did it not do *anything* for her, other than making her sound like a snot, but it quite frankly made me sound like an idiot for not having a venue when I'm still *14 months out*. (p.s.: still plenty of nice other places available in the area, thanks). All I could think of, is that if this woman is that nasty when I was simply inquiring about this place, I bet she's *great* to deal with on a wedding day. But maybe the 7-8k base price for renting this barn makes her much nicer.
