Countryside Chalet is a beautiful venue on 10 private acres providing a special setting to create lifetime memories for you and your guests. The venue includes a large estate house with 5 bedrooms and 51/2 bathrooms, an indoor climate controlled reception space with a large covered patio. The patio overlooks a multi-level terraced outdoor ceremony site with a beautiful pergola. Countryside Chalet allows outside vendors of your choice. Conveniently located in Linwood Kansas just 2 miles from the Johnson County line, 10 miles from Lawrence, and 15 miles from Kansas City. with easy access off of I-70.

The entire weekend of our son’s wedding at the Countryside Chalet was amazing! The owners, Michael and KaraJo, were so kind, accommodating, and extremely helpful. The venue was beautiful and everything was so well cared for. All of our guests, and even the vendors, were so impressed with the grounds and location. The property has everything that you could possibly need, including a fire pit, croquet and cornhole. There was something for everyone. The wedding party was also able to spend the night in the beautiful house onsite both Friday and Saturday night so they could really enjoy the entire weekend together. The bridal suite was perfect for getting ready the morning of the wedding. Highly recommend!!

This is the best place to get married! Not only do you have the pavilion/reception hall and the outdoor terrace, you have a huge house available to stay in to make your wedding easy and stress free. I highly recommend this venue for weddings! The owners were wonderful to work with!

Countryside Chalet was the PERFECT venue for our daughter and son in law's wedding in April! The property is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. We had the property for the entire weekend and I would totally recommend going that route. We got there on Friday at noon and didn't leave until Sunday afternoon. It was perfectly relaxing and stress free to do it that way. We had time on Friday to set up for the wedding on Saturday and we had the rehearsal and dinner at the venue Friday evening. A food truck came and we had everything right there-- no travel, no stress! The wedding and reception on Saturday evening were absolutely perfect and beautiful! The house is big enough that we were able to stay and have family in the wedding stay for the weekend for less travel and stress. It was just perfect... kind of like a weekend getaway! The owners were absolutely delightful to work with and were so accommodating and helpful. On the wedding morning Michael came by to drop off pastries and mimosa fixings and he wished us well and asked if we needed anything. Very kind! I would 1000% recommend this venue to anyone!!

Michael and Kara Jo (the owners) are absolutely fantastic people and we’re very flexible and understanding with us. The house is beautiful and so is the venue. I would 100% recommend this to anyone. The value is outstanding and we could not find any where that beat it. BOOK HERE you won’t be disappointed.

The aabsolute BEST wedding venue location for a truly enchanted outdoor wedding!! Beautifully nested in the rolling hills of Eastern Kansas countryside, the site is private and quiet while conveniently accessible. The garden is magical! We did a receiving line through the garden with photos at the carriage and chess board- making it special and memorable for us and our guests. We enjoyed everything about staying there- soaking in the large bath tub and relaxing on the deck- the house was great! The large yard and basement area were just as perfect for our dogs! I am so happy we found this perfect venue for our destination wedding!! Thank you! 😊

Just booked The Chalet for our upcoming wedding and could not be more impressed already! The Venue space was beautiful and they did a great job of walking us through everything in detail. Love the packages they offer and ample time they give you to set up decorations, etc. Definitely takes a lot of stress away getting ready for the big day!

My husband and I got married here at the beginning of July and had the best time ever. The entire property is gorgeous and we had everything we needed in order to have a beautiful outdoor ceremony (even though there was an 80% chance of rain, it held off long enough!). We didn’t even want to leave on Sunday after staying all weekend. Choosing the weekend package allowed us to have a relaxing, almost stress free wedding. I had enough time Friday to set up the reception hall and with the help of my stepson, have a rehearsal and dinner. That evening a few of us sat on the front porch drinking wine and beer and just enjoying the night. I’ll never forget it. If you have the opportunity to choose a weekend package, do it. It’s so worth it. Gratia and family were so amazing to work with. They were so supportive and helpful but also let us do our thing. Our guests were also amazed at how beautiful everything was. They actually spent a lot of time enjoying the outdoor space more than the indoor space! Thank you so much for creating an unforgettable experience for us.

We could not say better things about this venue. First, the owners are AMAZING. They are flexible and quick to respond. We toured the venue at least 4/5 times after signing/before our wedding and they were happy to come let us in each time. We felt the price was extremely fair for all of the accommodations we received. There is no other venue in the area that has such an amazing weekend package. Having the house on site was great because we were able to have all of our wedding party in one place for all the festivities and to prevent any unsafe driving. Last, we were complimented all day about how beautiful the venue was and we couldn't agree more!

This is not just a venue, it's an experience. One we will cherish forever. The CC team was kind, flexible, and helpful from beginning to end. They went above and beyond to exceed all our expectations. The venue itself is stunning. A gorgeous property that is well maintained, clean, organized and has everything you could need. If they don't have it, they work with you to accommodate it. We would highly recommend the venue and team and are forever grateful for everything they did to make this weekend so special for us.

When I first visited Countryside Chalet I knew IMMEDIATELY that it was the perfect venue for our big day! The entire property is beautiful and the ceremony area is so nicely landscaped. The reception hall is gorgeous with its wooden beams and glass chandeliers. We decided to go with the overnight package and man was I glad we did! The house on the property was icing on the cake! We were able to host rehearsal dinner there and then my entire wedding party was able to spend the night afterwards and wake up there on wedding day! How perfect! The bridal suite is so nice and they even have large windows up there so I was able to look out and watch all the action while still being able to hide away! The team here at CC is amazing as well. They are so kind, helpful, and respond to questions quickly and professionally. It is apparent how much they care about their couples and will do everything they can to make sure they have their perfect day. They should definitley be proud! I cannot recommend Countryside Chalet enough!

We are SO glad we found the Countryside Chalet! Both of our families came from out of town for our wedding, and we really liked the idea of finding a venue that would allow us to stay with our families all weekend long. The CC has a beautiful house on site, which comfortably slept our families and some of our bridal party. We even hosted our rehearsal dinner at the house the night before the wedding! The ceremony and pavilion/reception areas on the property are well-maintained, private, and were perfect for our wedding of 110 guests. One of my favorite things about CC is the freedom you have to bring in whatever vendors you want. Several other venues we considered had limited set-up time and required you to use certain vendors -- which was a HUGE turn-off. We were able to choose the best vendors for our budget, and because we had the venue all weekend, we had ample time to set up the day before the wedding. I also cannot say enough wonderful things about Gratia, Bill, and Stephanie; they were truly a joy to work with. From our initial walk-through to our big day, they were so kind, responsive, and attentive to our questions and needs. We received so many compliments on our venue, and we were so happy with how the whole weekend turned out. If you want to have a beautiful, fun, stress-free wedding, choose the Countryside Chalet!!

My husband and I could not be happier that we chose Countryside Chalet as our venue! The property is amazing and the reception hall is absolutely beautiful. Words don’t do it justice. Our guests could not stop complimenting how beautiful of a place it is. Stephanie and Gratia are awesome and such a pleasure to work with. They made sure everything was taken care of and went off without a hitch. Our wedding day was perfect! I would absolutely recommend Countryside Chalet to friends and family.

The house on the property is large enough for an entire family to get ready in, and the bridal space is perfect. I loved being able to get ready but see out the windows while everything was coming together. The outside space is simple and beautiful was just perfect for our day. Inside the reception space is beautiful rustic beams mixed with the most gorgeous chandeliers. The space is large, we had 150 guest with room to spare. Lastly the staff, hands down the best people to work with. Every email or text was responded to promptly and happily. They let me visit and walk through a few times with no hesitation. They went out of their way to make sure our day was perfect from setting up to drying benches outside during rain. They welcomed our family and friends with grace and I could not have had a better experience.

The venue is prefect in every way. It is romantic, private, beautiful, peaceful, the perfect place to have your wedding. I love that they provide all the important amenities but you can still DIY. It is AMAZING, words can't describe its perfection!!

I threw my sister a bridal shower at the Countryside Chalet. Not only was the setting absolute perfection (secluded with tons of beautiful flowers and scenery) but the owners are wonderful as well. I cant wait to hopefully have my own wedding there someday!!

The Countryside Chalet is the perfect place to share your wedding day, the property is absolutely gorgeous. The wedding terrace is the perfect place to say your I do's underneath the beautiful pergola. The pavilion is gorgeous and perfect size to throw your wedding reception. To get married and have your reception all in one place is amazing. The house is so spacious and beautiful and it will hold your entire wedding party and family so you can share all the memories together. It is set back so it is private and very peaceful. There is no place better for your special day then the Countryside Chalet!!! Highly recommend!!!

The Countryside Chalet is the perfect place to share your wedding day, the property is absolutely gorgeous. The wedding terrace is the perfect place to say your I do's underneath the beautiful pergola. The pavilion is gorgeous and perfect size to throw your wedding reception. To get married and have your reception all in one place is amazing. The house is so spacious and beautiful and it will hold your entire wedding party and family so you can share all the memories together. It is set back so it is private and very peaceful. There is no place better for your special day then the Countryside Chalet!!! Highly recommend!!!

This place is absolutely beautiful, the people were very flexible to work with & stayed professional throughout. They were very eager to meet all my requests & make sure this day was very special. They decorated the reception hall absolutely amazingly & very quick. This was wonderful to use the home for brides maids & groomsmen to get dressed & I couldn’t have asked for anything better! Thank you!

The Countryside Chalet was 100% the perfect venue for my dream wedding!! Look no further....this is everything you would hope for to accomodate all your needs/desires for your \"Big Day\". The owners and staff are nothing but amazing and accomodate for any changes or needs. The place is breathtaking! Beautiful home with wedding couple suite and guests rooms with full kitchen and all ammenities! Beatiful and maintanced outdoor place for outdoor ceremony. And the reception hall is huge and just gorgeous! Loved the romantic large chandeliers! All the space you would need for any size wedding! Countryside Chalet comes highly recommended for your dream wedding!

We had the best wedding ever! The venue was perfect for our entire group of friends and family! We made so many special memories that were surrounded by the beautiful atmosphere and a romantic setting of the Countryside Chalet!
