Covington Farm Weddings is a modern-rustic wedding venue located in Tampa, FL. You and your partner can welcome loved ones to join in the celebration of your big day immersed in the stunning natural landscape of Dade City. The venue is set on land of rolling hills and lush green pasture, with two tranquil lakes creating the perfect backdrop for exquisite photography. The team behind Covington Farm works with you to make your dream wedding a reality through their care and attention to detail. With multiple event spaces, your day can flow seamlessly from an outdoor ceremony to a reception in the romantic barn. Take care of final touch-ups before the day begins in the quaint yet modern get-ready-suites that Covington Farm boasts. Both are fitted with everything you could need on your wedding morning and have space for your parties to gather and begin making memories. From intimate elopements to large-scale celebrations, you can welcome up to 300 guests to take part in the day which begins with a walk down the paver-lined aisle to the simple and elegant arbor. Take photographs at the swings and enjoy an after-ceremony cocktail hour while the sun sets around you in the serene expanse. The venue offers two indoor reception spaces, the Pole Barn and the Hay Barn. The Pole Barn is charmingly decorated and equipped with wooden stools and tables under twinkling bistro lights. The Hay Barn boasts a floor-to-ceiling gas fireplace as its focal point and can be both heated and air-conditioned to suit your needs. Elegant chandeliers provide ample lighting for you and your guests to dance beneath all night long. The spaces are furnished farmhouse-style, rich in personality and welcoming to all. The staff at Covington Farm is available throughout the day to assist in anything your may need. Event planning services are available, as well as day-of coordination to ensure everything runs smoothly. Setup and cleanup are looked after by the venue team, who also offer event rentals of everything from flatware and glassware to decorative mason jars and wreaths. You can be provided with a list of tried and trusted wedding vendors, or you may bring in vendors of your choice who best suit your needs on your wedding day. From the moment you top the hill and see the venue, you are in awe at it's beauty! Each time we visited we found more to love, not only with the venue but the incredible people who made everything possible. Three weeks before the wedding we had to terminate services with an outside wedding planner. In a panic, I contacted Barbara who immediately jumped right in and took control, she did more in three weeks than the original wedding planner did in ten months! Her responsiveness and communication, even while she was on vacation, was exceptional! She immediately met with us and listened to the vision my daughter & son-in-law had for the venue and worked magic! Barbara, Lisa, Crystal & Maria brought together every elegant detail they had envisioned. November 21st, wedding day, Barbara and Maria had everything under control and I was able to to enjoy the \"getting ready\" process with my daughter and bridal party. Having the bridal suite for the girls to stay after rehearsal and get ready the next morning was amazing! There was plenty of room for all the festivities and the elevator was nice for the grandparents to come up and visit. It was time to head downstairs for the wedding, the wedding party was blown away at how elegant and beautiful the reception area looked. Our amazement of Covington Farms continued as the doors opened and we saw the stunning ceremony area! Barbara had attended to every detail. The ceremony was stunning!During the cocktail hour, guests strolled the property in awe of its beauty. They loved the sandhill cranes, sunset over the lake and of course the outdoor bar, hors d'oeuvres, games and music. When it came time for the grand reveal of the reception area, guests were awestruck! The tables, flowers, mantel, lighting, drapery, was more than we imagined and every guest raved at the beauty of the venue. Simply elegant!The party quickly got started after an amazing dinner and the night slipped away much too quick! When the guests left and the lights came on, Barbara and Maria's work carried on. I tried to help with cleanup when Barbara came up to me and told me to go relax, we've got this momma. This unforgettably perfect day was only due to Barbara, she pours her heart into making your wedding what you dreamed it would be!

We got married on 10/28/23 at Covington Farm. As you can see from any of the photos, the venue is absolutely beautiful. We also expressed how important the food was to us, and we were assured that the preferred catering company was the best in town, and guests love them. This was a year and a half prior to our wedding date. I had heard Covington Farm referred to as “the cream of the crop” for wedding venues in Dade City, clearly this is no longer the case. Our first (and only) design/planning meeting was four and a half months prior to our wedding with Barbara, the owner. While this meeting was helpful, it was not enough. Our tasting was scheduled just over two months prior to our wedding, and absolutely fell short of the vision we had (all frozen, fried appetizers that lacked any freshness). When I reached out to Barbara with our concerns regarding the food, she said “it’s too late now, you’re not going to find anyone else.” We reached out to Green Door on 8th, who absolutely saved the day on food. When discussing any details from the aforementioned design meeting, I told Barbara it did not feel like we were on the same page and asked for another in-person meeting. She laughed and said she did not have any time available (1 month prior to our wedding). Two weeks prior to our wedding, we were told the staff was taking personal time and were unavailable. During this time, we had pay catering company out of pocket because the venue staff could not be reached, even though catering was already paid for through our contract. Three days prior to our wedding, I finally was able to get Barbara on the phone to discuss last minute details. The day of our wedding, the timeline that was so meticulously planned was essentially out the window. So many details I spent time planning were missed.The coordinator did not enforce any of the time points, causing us to miss out on a few moments with our guests we had really looked forward to. When we left during the reception to capture couples portraits, the golf cart that was supposed to be available was being used by another staff member. This made us have to walk around the property (in a wedding dress) for nearly 40 minutes to capture our photos. This is time we can’t get back. We did not have a cake at our reception, but had discussed a specific moment we wanted our photographer to capture with our desserts. The coordinator breezed straight through and did not even mention it being missed. In addition, the desserts were placed at the end of the dinner buffet as guests were plating their food, meaning that they were almost gone by the time dinner was over. I had several guests mention how they overheard the owner making rude comments to both vendors and guests. We paid for the DJ to play for an additional hour, but the bar did last call and staff began cleaning up more than an hour prior to the end of the event.Barbara has previously mentioned that the only “problem” with our wedding is the addition of guests going above our contracted amount. We paid the contractually pre-ordained amount when going over the originally agreed guest count and we were below the stated attendee cap. She also mentioned that she saw how we were smiling in our wedding photos, so we must not have had that many issues. I have to honestly wonder if it was her intention to ruin our day. We are so incredibly disappointed with our treatment from the staff at Covington Farm.

10/10 recommend Covington Farm. It was a perfect indoor/outdoor venue. Our ceremony was outside under the oak trees with the lake and sunset view for cocktail hour as well. Reception to follow inside where Barb and Mandolin made our vision come to life. The food, DJ, bar tenders, and overall service was amazing!! It comes as an all inclusive price but you’re able to customize your options which I loved. This also included access to the grounds for an additional photoshoot such as engagement or boudoir session (which I highly recommend in the bridal suite/bathroom!). Our day was truly seamless. Mandolin worked her butt off beforehand and day off, and everything worked out beyond expectation. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t change a thing!!! Matter of fact, I wish I could relive our day just one more time!

Once you reach the destination, it is absolutely breathtaking. Barbara and her team were absolutely amazing. She was always available to answer any questions I had. Our wedding was truly a dream. I just got married on 11/13/21, and wow it was so amazing!! Everyone loved the venue, and you can't beat the views here! The weather was so perfect and dreamy. I couldn't have had a more perfect day! Barbara was amazing, helping all the way up to the big day! She would meet with me whenever I needed to come up, and helped with any questions I had! Also, decorated the venue so beautifully based on my style! :) Crystal was a Rockstar helping me with the vendors and coordinating making sure everything ran smoothly! Also big kudos to Kelsey the other coordinator as well who helped the day of and ran my rehearsal! They made the planning and day of stress free for me! I can't thank them enough. Also the addition of the camper was so cute for cocktail hour, and Terri set that up for me and decorated it beautifully!Highly recommend this venue, such an amazing team they have! <3Thank you all for making my day so special.

Covington Farm is a beautiful wedding/event location! The big oak trees, pastures, and lake make for gorgeous photos and scenery for your special day. The inside is rustic and shabby sheek, yet so classy and elegant. A lot can be done to customize to your style as well. The Bridal suite and Grooms suite are gorgeous and a great size for the wedding party to get ready. I love that they allow you to start set up for your event a couple days ahead in order to make sure you have enough time to get everything done. My wedding was so beautiful and we received so many compliments on how gorgeous and fun it was from our guests. The barn is amazing and we had over 250 guests that fit perfectly. Definitely recommend this wedding barn!

What is not to love about this venue!! This dream property is the perfect place to get married or have your next event at. Barbara and Lisa were great and easy to communicate with and pulled off the perfect weekend for our family & friends. This venue not only offers amazing views, but the beautiful oversized barn has a gourmet kitchen, bridal suite, plenty of restrooms, tons of seating options and most important to me AC! I could go on, but truly, go see for yourself, they won’t disappoint!!

The more we walked around, the more we were in love! From the lake front view and rolling hills to the bridal & groomsmen suites. Absolutely amazing! Our dream wedding was brought to life by Barbara and Lisa and we could not be more grateful. We had a perfect wedding on a perfect day at a perfect venue!

The venue is absolutely beautiful, with that being said the owner/staff is MISERABLE to work with! Brides beware! They talked down to us the entire time we were planning our wedding. We paid extra for every detail that we figured would be apart of the venue or the decor package that we had already purchased. We were told we had to wash any extra dishes we used and that we had to sweep and mop the kitchen after the night was done, and if that wasn’t done we wouldn’t get our deposit back. The owner scolded us at the thought of us wanting to use silk flowers. As a bride that was looking forward to the wedding experience they made the entire process more stressful, we felt so unwelcome the entire time. They want to be a “up scale” venue but treat paying customers like garbage. Despite all of the BS we had to deal with, the wedding ended up being beautiful and very enjoyable!

Wow! We got married yesterday and I had to write my review ASAP because everything was so amazing. Covington is so great that even the drive to the farm is beautiful. The property and location is jaw dropping. And then the inside of the barn with bridal suite and groomsmen suite, just incredible. Not to mention Lisa is so helpful and we cannot be more grateful for all of her help. If you are looking to get married in the greater Tampa area, Covington is by far the best!! Thank you again!!

Wow! We got married yesterday and I had to write my review ASAP because everything was so amazing. Covington is so great that even the drive to the farm is beautiful. The property and location is jaw dropping. And then the inside of the barn with bridal suite and groomsmen suite, just incredible. Covington Farm was the first and only venue that I looked at for my wedding because the second I walked in, I knew that it was the place for us! It is so unique and blows all of the other barn venues out of the water. Lisa was so helpful throughout the whole planning process and sat with us many times to make sure our day was perfect. Covington lets you personalize your wedding and have your own dream, it can be as laid back or as extravagant as you want. We had so many compliments on how beautiful it was from our wedding guests. One of my favorite things was the getting ready space upstairs, this is also where my husband and I stayed the night of our wedding. I would definitely recommend this venue!

Covington Farm was the first and only venue that I looked at for my wedding because the second I walked in, I knew that it was the place for us! It is so unique and blows all of the other barn venues out of the water. Lisa was so helpful throughout the whole planning process and sat with us many times to make sure our day was perfect. Covington lets you personalize your wedding and have your own dream, it can be as laid back or as extravagant as you want. We had so many compliments on how beautiful it was from our wedding guests. As I have been reflecting on our perfect day, I am completely overwhelmed and overjoyed that I was able to have my wedding at Covington. From the moment I saw the breathtaking barn peaking over the rolling hills I knew this was my dream venue. I have never seen a wedding venue quite like Covington, and every time I visit I find more things I love. The owner and coordinator, Barbara and Lisa, are absolutely fantastic. They make every effort to make each and every wedding perfect for that couple. They are dedicated to putting the bride first, patient and fair with all vendors and guests, and devoted to continually making Covington a bride's dream venue. Little effort with decorating is needed for the bride/family because everything is so well thought out and beautiful there already, beautiful and spacious upstairs rooms for bridal party to get ready in, great location, easy to work with owners/workers. I cannot thank them enough for going above and beyond and will always have a special place for Covington in my heart.

Unbelievable, breathtaking, memorable, perfect, picturesque, beautiful… these are all words that were heard repeatedly at our wedding from us and by our guests. This venue is unlike any other. Barb and her husband have really hit the nail on the head when creating this fairytale rustic setting- lake, oak trees, fields, barn, suite and so much more. Covington Farm was perfect, and this wedding venue created the wedding of my dreams. For the whole week I was able to create the inside to what I had envisioned for my big day which was one of my favorite parts of my wedding week, I was a DIY bride that wanted to be hands on. Barb and Lisa were a wonderful help with great ideas and creative inspiration. I can not say enough positive things about this wonderful venue and if any future brides are looking for a classy rustic barn this is where you should book your wedding.

Amazing picturesque venue! Rolling hills in Florida? Yes! A lake in the background? Yes! A venue created just for having weddings so everything was perfect? Absolutely! They were very accommodating! We booked the upstairs to use the morning of to get ready and the night of the wedding. Adorable honeymoon suite! The hair and makeup artists loved all the space they had to use. This is absolutely the most beautiful venue ever. Owner did a fabulous job at creating the dream wedding venue. We had our son's wedding there and it was a beautiful day. A day dreams are made of. Very professional staff, very hands on and helpful. Barbara is excellent to work with, very kind, thoughtful. She really cares that your day is one you and your guests will never forget. She goes above and beyond, and makes you feel like family. The upstairs bride and groom suites are amazing. Having this large and beautiful space to get ready is the icing on the cake. We are super sad to even write this review...because it means that our PERFECT, CLASSIC wedding has come and gone.We booked Covington Farm in Dade City, FL back in April of 2018. It was our 2nd venue that we had toured. After that day in April, we canceled all of our other venue tours because we knew right away that Covington Farm was THE ONE! Upon arrival, we were in awe of how beautiful the surrounding areas were- the dirt road entrance, the rolling hills, open fields, pretty lakes, just everything... and then we went inside the barn and it was even more beautiful than the pictures could have ever portrayed. We had an immediate LOVE for Covington and we knew that is where we would end up spending the best day of our lives. Getting to know Barbara, Bud, and Lisa was probably the best part besides our actually wedding day. The love that these amazing people have for their venue and their work is unbelievable. They were there for every step of the way. Barbara was just a phone call or a text message away with ANY question we could think of. She helped us think out ideas and think out EVERY SINGLE detail of our special day. Every time we came into contact with Barbara, Bud, or Lisa, it felt like we were talking to a friend or family member. They really do treat you as if you are just that. September 15, 2018-- This was a beautiful, perfect day for a wedding. The bride and her bridesmaids woke up to gorgeous views as they stayed upstairs in Covington Farm's bridal suite. The day was finally here, and she felt relaxed and as if everything was complete. That morning, Barbara and Lisa were finishing up the last minute touches on the tables and ceremony decor. Bud was using the tractor moving the pews and chairs for the ceremony. Everything was coming together...and oh it looked so perfect. Barbara and Lisa also did the bouquets and boutineers for our wedding. They came upstairs and all the girls were stunned how gorgeous they came out. (The bride even cried!) The day continued to be PERFECT. The ceremony was stunning...the breeze and the shade from the big oak trees helped! The cocktail hour was when a lot of guests took pictures and strolled around in awe of the beautiful property that Bud and Barbara have. When the grand reveal of the barn came for the all the guests to see, they entered in astonishment! Once the party got started, it all flowed so fast and flawlessly. Nobody wanted the night to end!As you can tell, Covington Farm did a wonderful job for our wedding day. Our friends and family still talk about our day and this venue very often. Billy and Rachael will always be in debt to Barbara, Bud, and Lisa for the glorious event that they provided. We walk away married, but we also walk away with 3 more people we are blessed to call our friends. Thank you for everything Covington Farm. We will be back for family photo sessions for year and years to come! (babies are the next step!)

Our wedding was perfect day thanks to a perfect couple who own a perfect venue! After knowing Bud and Barbara for only eight months, it seemed as if I knew them my whole life. It is hard to find the words to accurately describe the ways they went above and beyond to make sure our day was exactly what we envisioned. I married my best friend on March 24, 2018 at this gorgeous gem hidden in the rolling hills of Dade City. It's rustic southern charm, gorgeous lake views & a breath taking barn, where every detail has been attended to, had all of our guests in awe! We first fell in love with his location in the summer of 2017, when there was only an \"illusion\" of the barn that was to come. With only the concrete slab, framing and blueprints to go off of, we booked our event at Covington Farm on our first visit. This may seem crazy to some, but if you meet with the owner, Barbara, you will understand how in the world we felt so confident that our day would be absolutely beautiful. Her creative ideas, flair for design & passion for making your event as magical and special as you could ever imagine, was reason enough for us. We had our \"Save the Date\" photos taken at the venue and visited often to watch the progress of the venue transform from our first visit. We grew to love Barbara and her husband and soon felt them to no longer just be \"the owners of our ceremony & reception site\" but just like family. It's not often you find business owners these days that take a general interest in your happiness and making your vision come true as opposed to how many dollars they can add to the bottom line.Aside from a gorgeous ceremony & reception site, the barn also provides a jaw dropping grooms suite that my husband LOVED being able to use to relax with his guys before the ceremony, a beautiful bridal suite that was not only perfect for getting ready with my girls but also perfect for gorgeous photo ops!I am so pleased with the turn out of our wedding and love this venue so much, I am looking forward to coming back for all of our new families monumental photo shoots, which Covington Farm is also growing well known for!

Barbara Stalnaker (Owner) I have loved decorating for anything and everything since I was a child. I have been decorating for Weddings since I about 20 years old. One friend would see my work, then another, and another. I decorated my Niece's Wedding at the Ft. Pierce Yacht Club, then her Sister's Wedding at The Vinoy in St. Petersburg. Every single one was done from the heart, not as a job, at that time I worked fulltime as a Mortgage Banker. My Nephew and his Fiance' looked for a Venue for over a year. We couldn't find anything that was just perfect, so we built Covington Farm. I decorated their Wedding too!
