Located in Chappaqua, NY, Crabtree's KIttle House Restaurant and Inn is a historic, welcoming wedding venue. With farm-to-table dining and elegant event spaces, you can host both your ceremony and reception here. In addition to hosting special occasions, this venue also has an impressive wine cellar and bed and breakfast. Crabtree's Kittle House Restaurant and Inn was first built in 1790 and offers to-be-weds a slice of life in old New York. Owner John Crabtree has led the team here since 1983. He grew up in kitchens, watching his father hard at work, and discovered a passion for hospitality. John and the staff here are motivated to give every visitor to their venue the best day possible. Crabtree's Kittle House Restaurant has various spaces where to-be-weds can host their ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. You can exchange your vows in the gardens outside of The Atrium Carriage Room, before heading inside for celebratory cocktails. Up to 220 guests can be comfortably accommodated at events in the Main Dining Room and Garden Room. The attached patios and gardens are also available if the weather allows. Weddings at this venue can be held during the day or in the evening. The event staff is on hand to provide support in whatever way you need, led by events directors Kimberly Ann and Tiffany Hogan. They are ready to help you make your dream day a reality. Memorable cuisine is provided by the on-site kitchens and culinary staff, who are internationally renowned for their delicious meals. Catering includes bartending services and dessert. Overnight accommodation for up to 12 guests is also on offer.

I had my wedding on 11.11 of this year and it was perfection. Kimberly Ann is amazing, hardworking and the kindest person to work with. What a joy it was to work with her. She was so helpful and detail oriented and calm, which is exactly what you want when you're planning a wedding, which can sometimes be stressful! Crabtree's Kittle House Restaurant & Inn made our dream come true wedding a possibility. Everyone of our guests raved about how delicious the food was, the service was so attentive, how beautiful and historical the venue was and they enjoyed their overnight stay at the inn. I am so glad I had my wedding there, I'm looking forward to celebrating more occasions there for years to come. Thank you to the staff and especially Kimberly Ann. You did an outstanding job! We had our wedding at Crabtree on 11/6/2022 and we can't say enough good things about our wedding there. Kimberly, Leo and the entire Crabtree staff were amazing to work with from start to finish- they helped us bring our vision to life. Kimberly and her team were so responsive, kind and helpful and always made us feel taken care of. The venue was absolutely beautiful and charming. Because of weather we had to make a game time decision and change the location of ceremony and cocktail hour but the staff made it all so seamless and stress free. At our wedding the staff was so attentive to us and our guests- everyone was commenting on how beautiful the venue was, how amazing the food was (it was incredible!) and how it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to. Can't recommend Crabtree highly enough- we are so happy we went with them! We look forward to going back to this special place for dinners and our anniversary!

We recently held our daughter’s wedding at Crabtree’s Kittle House. Working with Kimberly, Leo and their excellent team made all the planning easy and relatively stress free. Kimberly and Leo expertly led us through weather related decision making for the ceremony and cocktails. Our guests are still raving about the food, wine , venue and level of service provided to everyone. We all felt we could not have found a more perfect venue for our daughter’s wedding. We cannot say enough incredible things about the Kittle House!!!! We had a dream of a wedding on 9/23/22. Initially I was nervous the space was a little small for 165 guests, however it was PERFECT!! Kimberly helped me with every step, had the best ideas, and helped make it so stress free. Leo looked out for us the ENTIRE night- making sure we ate, had a drink in our hands and was there if we needed anything. That night, he even brought food and more drinks ip to our room! They really care about your vision and making it come to life. The food was incredible, the service was outstanding. People still tell us how incredible the night was and we owe it all to Kittle house!!! I wouldn’t have changed a single thing!!

We cannot say enough good things about working with Kimberly and the Crabtree’s Kittle House staff for our wedding. We wanted a wedding venue that felt a bit more personal and cozy than a hotel ballroom, but still big enough that guests could spread out. The Kittle House checked all of those boxes and the garden being in full summer bloom was just icing on the cake. Additionally, we were planning from far away and so having the restaurant taking care of food meant one less thing we had to separately coordinate. Kimberly was extremely responsive to all of our email inquiries and was full of ideas and thoughts to help us create the perfect day. One other great thing about the venue is that they have a great indoor backup plan if the weather didn't cooperate for the day (and that the Kittle House could even switch everything indoors up to 2.5 hours before the beginning of the ceremony). Throughout the whole process Kimberly, the maitre d' Leo, and the staff were always there to help us, make suggestions, and fulfill our vision for the day. The food was incredible (many, many guests remarked on how much they loved the food, including our vegetarian guests!) and they were always one step ahead with the planning. We brought in photos and some decorations for the cocktail hour and Kimberly and her staff took care of arranging them so we didn’t have to even think about it on the day of. They seamlessly interfaced with the florist and bakery, so much so that we weren’t even sure whether our cake had arrived since we hadn’t had to get involved and instead could just focus on enjoying the day. Having a complementary inn room was also a really nice perk because it provided the perfect space for hair and makeup earlier in the day, and we didn’t have to venture far after a late night–we even got treated to some end of the night champagne and food in our room, which was such a lovely touch. We could not have asked for a more seamless and thoughtfully executed day and would 100% select them again if we were choosing a venue again.

The Kittle House was the absolute perfect venue for our wedding. The outdoor space for our ceremony/cocktail hour and indoor reception were beautiful. The entire staff is very professional and very attentive. The event coordinator, Kim, is absolutely amazing. She has fantastic ideas and is extremely flexible and works to personalize every wedding to each couple. She is always quick to respond and really made the whole planning process painless. Kim was there during the entire wedding and made sure everything was setup beautifully. All of the food was absolutely delicious. We have gotten numerous compliments from our guests who really enjoyed the wedding and their stay overnight at the Kittle house inn. There are also so many beautiful areas - outside and in - for pictures. Overall, our wedding night was absolutely perfect and I highly recommend this venue.

I got married at Crabtree’s Kittle House on 9.24.21 and thanks to the team at this venue we had a beautiful wedding! Kimberly is amazing and expertly guided us through the planning process. We had to postpone the date due to COVID and she offered us various options and ideas that made us feel supported and kept us positive through the changes. On the day of the wedding Kimberly made sure our vision came to life. Guests commented on the amazing food and drink options. We also loved the indoor/outdoor feel and overall charming vibe of the Inn & Restaurant. From beginning to end everything flowed as planned. It was such a special day.

We had our wedding on 10.12.19 at the Kittle House and it was such a memorable experience. The venue was the best one we could have picked in terms of food, service, and intimacy. Kim did an outstanding job to help us plan and prepare for our big day. She was full of great ideas, inspired with flexibility, and was a great resource to have and help us plan for both the ceremony and reception. Leo was equally incredible. He helped us with food and wine selection, and went above and beyond our expectations when he became our day-of coordinator with Kim. They both helped ensure everything flowed smoothly, helping us to avoid any last minute hiccups, wrangling our families, guests, and wedding party, and surprised us with food (a rarity for new couples) right after the ceremony and throughout the cocktail hour. We felt fully taken care of throughout the entire process, from our first visit to our wedding day itself. We can’t say enough good things about the Kittle House, the food, waitstaff, and location. We highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to incorporate a rustic and private ambiance into their wedding experience!

I had my wedding here on 10/16/21 and it was amazing! The food is delicious there, (our number one reason for picking this venue), the staff is very friendly and flexible (especially our event coordinator Kimberly) and everything was perfect. They worked beautifully with the vendors we chose to get everything set up and the reception and ceremony area looked fantastic! Some guests even said it was the best wedding they had ever been to, thanks in large part to Kimberly and the amazing staff at Crabtree. I highly recommend this venue for your next event.

We are so grateful to Kimberly, Leo, and the whole team at Kittle House for their flexibility, hard work, and professionalism in making our wedding day so beautiful, happy, and memorable. Despite an unseasonably cold May day and having to postpone from our original 2020 date, Kittle House made the entire process extremely easy and low-stress for us from start to finish. The venue is absolutely beautiful and charming - and perfect for couples looking to have everything in one place. The food, wine and service are impeccable and Kimberly was an absolute planning pro - so responsive, calm, and full of ideas. We look forward to visiting Kittle House many times for future anniversaries and celebrations!

We knew Kittle House was the right place for our wedding as soon as we saw it. Kimberly was the best party coordinator we could ever imagine. She decorated the room personally and stayed after the event was over. She was extremely professional, thoughtful and organized. Kimberly accommodated all our requests and much more. She and the whole staff, especially Leo worked very hard to treat us and all our guests like royalty. The food was amazing! We also enjoyed their bridal suite. After the wedding Leo brought Champagne into our room. This was very unexpected. We had a very special experience with every step while spending our wedding weekend at the Crabtree Kittle House.

Do yourself a favor and have your wedding at the Kittle House. My wedding was absolutely perfect and that is all thanks to Kim and the incredible staff. Kim is the event planner and since my first email she has been so enthusiastic, professional, resourceful and kind. I legitimately would not have been able to do it without her. We planned the wedding in just over two months and Kim was there every step of the way making sure no detail was forgotten. She made everything so easy and seamless. Including on my wedding day when I forgot to have someone pick up the cake. I came into the reception and it was sitting there. She had realized on her own and took care of it without me even knowing! When it came time for the wedding, each person on the staff made me and all of my guests feel like royalty. They are so kind and bent over backwards to make sure everyone was enjoying themselves. The service is extraordinary. The venue itself is also beautiful and what drew us in in the first place. Build in the early 1700's, it has such a cozy, rustic but chic vibe. The owners have maintained it beautifully and it offers the best of old and new. There are so many nooks that are so interesting. They have the beautiful gardens, the glass ballroom, the private dinning room, the cozy bar with a big stone fireplace and the wine cellar. The best part was we were all able to stay the night in their guest rooms and wake up overlooking the snow covered hills. Finally, the food there is incredible. Most times you go to a wedding and the good is just meh, every single person at our wedding could not get over how great the food was. The chef is brilliant and super responsive to the menu you would like to create for your wedding. Anyone of these things, the food, venue space, staff, Kim would be enough to make me book my wedding there all over again but it really does have the best of it all. I can't wait to plan our next party there!

Kimberly Ann and the entire Crabtree Kittle House team went above and beyond to make the entire wedding planning process and wedding day seamless and easy. They are incredibly professional and their experience shows. Everything flowed so easily, and our wedding day was spectacular. The entire team worked in the background to make sure our day was perfect and problem-free. We were also so thankful for the beautiful outdoor space. Our wedding guests loved being able to enjoy the beautiful garden during daylight and the bonfire at night. As a bride, I was especially glad to have a \"one-stop shopping\" experience in terms of accommodations, ceremony, and reception.

We initially planned to host a large wedding at Crabtree’s Kittle House this summer. However, with the covid outbreak we pivoted to have a micro-wedding this summer with the larger party to (fingers crossed) follow next summer. Kimberly, the private events coordinator was incredibly gracious, helpful, patient, responsive, and positive throughout the process of planning the micro- wedding. The event itself was lovely – with the ceremony in a small beautiful garden on the premises of Crabtree's Kittle House and a luncheon in a private room. We all felt very comfortable and safe. The service and attention to detail from all of the staff was impeccable. We look forward to having our large celebration next year at Crabtree’s Kittle House.

We had our wedding here on 11/1/19, as well as our rehearsal dinner on the Tuesday before, and each one was AMAZING in its own way! Kim, Leo & Barbara, each helped us create the most magical and memorable evening of our lives, and without them, I don't know how we would have done it. Their professionalism and sense of calm throughout the entire process was beyond anything we could have ever asked for! The food and service was absolutely terrific on each occasion. The location is beautiful, just a perfect space - outside and inside - for the dream wedding we wanted! We couldn't ask for anything more! Just perfection! <3

We had our wedding reception here and everything was absolutely BEAUTIFUL. The charming ambiance, the rustic decor, the magnificent food, the impressive service, the attention to detail — we could not have envisioned a more perfect place for our wedding celebration.The events coordinator, Kimberly, truly went above and beyond to give us exactly what we wanted. She created a gorgeous rustic romantic feel with lanterns, candles, ruscus leaves, wine barrels, etc. She was so thoughtful, kind, accommodating, and just amazing throughout the entire planning process. Every bride needs a Kimberly!We are so thankful for the manager, Leo, who made the events of the night run so smoothly. He was by our side the whole reception and thought of EVERYTHING. At the end of the evening, he even arranged extra plates of food and dessert for my husband and I as we went up to our room for the night. We felt so very well taken care of and received glowing comments from all our family and friends. We are so happy that we chose Crabtree’s Kittle House to celebrate our wedding!

My husband and I were looking for a cozy, autumnal, and highly personalized wedding and that was just what the Kittle House offered for us. We could not be happier with the level of attention, detail, and patience that Kimberly Ann and Leo provided on our wedding day. There are few people in this world who have the ability to make you feel like the most important person, but the team at the Kittle House does just that. We cannot thank Kimberly Ann enough for her perfectionism and calm demeanor, and for making every single wedding detail filled with so much love and happiness. And we send Leo millions of thanks for keeping my long wedding dress tame and for of course feeding the hungry bride and groom after the ceremony in a private room! It was a true autumn dream wedding. Thank you, Kittle House <3 We look forward to returning for our one year anniversary!

If you visit this venue and don't choose it, you're crazy.Every part of the planning process–from the first visit to leaving the day after the wedding–was phenomenal.We visited so many venues, and every place felt like we were going to be just another couple in their wedding machine. Crabtree's treats you like they're honored to be part of your day. When he first visited Crabtree's, we enjoyed a delicious and lovely lunch while Kimberly and Leo brought us wedding books to look through. We said we didn't want dessert, so Kimberly brought over the desserts they would serve at the wedding anyway, just so we could taste. She spent HOURS with us. She went over every detail, answered every question, and had immediate solutions to every problem we brought up (like that my Grandma is in a wheel chair and might get tired during the reception. Kimberly suggested she give us a handicap room, among other things). My mom and I consistently called and emailed Kimberly throughout the year while we planned, and we visited the venue a few extra times. No matter what he needed or how much time we needed, she was there. I felt like I had a personal wedding planner!The wedding day itself was wonderful. It was seamless and beautiful. The gorgeous and elegant yet laid-back environment of Crabtree's fostered an environment where guests felt free to mingle, walk around, and enjoy themselves however they'd like. SO many of our guests said it was the most fun they had ever had at a wedding. People became close friends who had barely known each other beforehand. People danced the whole time. The fire pit outside welcomed guests outside if they didn't want to dance. It was just perfect.And while my husband and I were busy talking with all the guests, Leo made sure the food at our table was hot. He'd replace items and freshen out drinks to make sure there was nothing we needed.The food here is AMAZING. So delicious. The pasta genovese was probably my favorite, but the salmon and chicken were also so freaking good. On top of that, my maid of honor is vegan, and Kimberly and Leo made sure she had a delicious meal she enjoyed.Kimberly and Leo are amazing. They made a stressful process easy and beautiful. I'm so thankful to them.

Our son got married at the fabulous Crabtree’s Kittle House in Chappaqua, NY, on Labor Day weekend. It could nothave gone better. From their first introduction to the Inn, our son and future daughter in law knew this was where they had to have their wedding. The gorgeous grounds, the set up for a wedding, and their meeting with Kimberly all sold the Kittle House equally.They never once regretted this decision!Kimberly helped them each step of the way, was always responsive, took care of all details before, and during, and after the event, and handled problems creatively and cheerfully, so that the entire event went seamlessly.We stayed at the Inn, with its lovely, spacious and comfortable rooms.The couple was given 2 rooms to get ready, with the bridesmaids getting ready in the bridal suite, while the groomsmen and women hung out in the wine cellar.Lunch was delivered to both rooms and staff was on hand to attend to any of our needs.Innkeeper Barbara was especially helpful, aiding with every aspect of our stay, answering our innumerable questions and solving problems immediately (including dealing with blown fuses during hair styling).Maitre D’ Leo, who wore many hats, was equally wonderful, keeping all the events going smoothly and making sure everything and everyone was taken care, even helping to move a TV to plug in a cable for a slideshow.The Inn staff, catering, and bartending staff were conscientious, available, professional, and friendly.The wedding ceremony and cocktail hour were outside on the beautiful lawn in front of a stunning view. The ceremony by Rabbi Linda Goldberg was perfect.Reception was indoors in an equally beautiful room with all glass walls to the outside, so affording that same lush view.And the food! No one could stop talking about how delicious the food all was! And the sundae bar out by the fire pit outside was the perfect dessert ending to the meal!“Around Town” provided amazing music and Ziara(contact person for the bandthat night and lead singer) was fantastic, as was Bill, who, on crutches, helped make sure my weddingmarch could be heard and was wonderful about making sure a songs performed by myself and mydaughter could be heard well. Adam was very responsive in the days leading up to the event.We also had a \"newlywed\" breakfast the following morning in another sun filled beautiful room at Crabtree’s Kittle House, with the same exemplary service and yummy food.We could not have been happier with our experience at Crabtree's Kittle House.

The wedding planning team at the Kittle House (Kimberly Ann, Kelly, Leo, Mario, Michael, Barbara and the rest of the staff) are an absolute dream to work with! Kimberly Ann was a breeze to work with- responded to every email super fast, thought of things I never could have thought of that made the day extra special, and offered amazing suggestions. I love that their team is thoughtful and unpretentious, a true delight to work with throughout! They really had our best interests in their minds every step of the way.I got married Memorial Day weekend of this year in the downstairs atrium with around 150 guests and the Kittle House could not have done a better job. We loved every moment of the entire day. They had incredible attention to every detail that went into it, the service was impeccable throughout the process and the entire staff's true generosity to making this day so special for us were just some of the reasons we had such a wonderful experience planning our wedding here! They were even flexible when making last minute changes due to the weather literally 20 minutes before the ceremony. To top it all off- the food and wine were remarkable and Kimberly Ann, Leo, and Michael made sure my husband and I had some!!!We cannot say enough thank yous!!!

We were considering Kittle House for our wedding, but the location wasn't quite the right fit. That being said, Liz was absolutely fantastic to work with during our deliberations. She was incredibly responsive via email, answered all our questions, worked around our schedule for a site visit, and gave us a wonderful tour. I'm bummed I won't be working with her to plan my wedding. Anyone getting married at Kittle House would be lucky to have her as their event manager/coordinator.

I would highly recommend having your wedding at the Crabtree’s Kittle House. Not only is it the perfect space to have a winter wedding, the staff is amazing. Liz was an absolute pleasure to work with and she talked with us every step of the way. She really ensured that our event was perfect and answered any questions we had. Leo also did a fantastic job being on top of everything and making sure everything went smoothly. The entire staff really made my wedding perfect, and I can't thank them enough for all the work they put in. The food is phenomenal, and I can't wait to go back the Crabtree’s Kittle House for our anniversary!

Throughout the planning process, Kimberly was attentive and really easy to communicate with. She humored both myself and my mom with any small question we had and was incredibly organized - they really are experts at putting together a seamless event! We were given lots of options throughout the process and suggestions given our general theme too. I didn't have to worry about coordinating a single thing on my wedding night or assigning jobs to my wedding party because I knew it would be taken care of. The weather on our wedding day was unpredictable and I felt like every effort was made to pull off plan A!

I can't express how grateful I am to the Kittle House team for making our wedding day as close to perfect as possible! Kimberly, Leo, Joe, and Jessica were extremely kind, responsive, and were all about making the day what we envisioned. From food tastings to setting up photo tables to taking care of the favors, the Kittle House handled everything with ease. We stayed there the night prior and night of the wedding (as did some of the bridal party) and we were treated like royalty. This was the perfect venue for the wedding we wanted .. the building itself is beautiful, the gardens and outside seating are perfect for guests to enjoy cocktail hour in a picturesque setting, and the reception room was large enough to fit our guests but maintained an intimate and romantic setting. And I can't say enough wonderful things about the food.. everyone was raving about it. We were extremely pleased with our experience at the Kittle House, and plan on returning for anniversary trips in the future!

My husband and I just got married at the Kittle House last weekend, and I don't even know where to begin to describe how wonderful and special everything was. Its been well over a year since we began the whole wedding planning process and Kimberly and the Kittle House team were exceptional every step of the way. They were responsive and thoughtful, offering suggestions, while also being open to our own ideas.On the actual wedding day, Kimberly, Jessica, and the whole team worked seamlessly to make sure everything ran smoothly. Their attention to detail, and care for me, my husband, and entire wedding party is so appreciated. From making sure we had enough to eat and drink to coordinating the flow of the ceremony, they went above and beyond to make sure the day was everything we imagined, and more. And of course, I can't forget the food. The food was one of the main reasons why we chose the Kittle House, and numerous guests came up to us throughout the night saying how delicious everything was from the cocktail hour to the s'mores at the end of the night. I will forever be grateful to the Kittle House for making my wedding day more than I could have imagined, and the people and place will always hold a special place in our hearts. Words really can't describe how wonderful our experience was at Crabtree's Kittle House! We held both our wedding ceremony and reception there, and they were flawless. From the moment we stepped foot into the building, we were greeted with such warmth and sincerity- it couldn't be matched! Kimberly worked tirelessly to give us the perfect wedding that encompassed who we were as a couple and what we envisioned. She was quick to answer emails, offer suggestions and just send a kind note on encouragement, which made the planning process effortless. Barbara, the Inn Manager, was always available via email, keeping me informed as our wedding party booked their rooms. She was always ready to accommodate us! Joe, Leo, Jessica and every other staff member we encountered at the Kittle House made us feel welcome, important and special! Everything you could possibly want leading up to and on your wedding day! Not mention the food (which we did get to enjoy thanks to Jessica and the Kittle House staff putting together plates for us to snack on throughout the night), drinks, decor and attention to detail that the Kittle House is known for. I could go on and on, but words just do not do them justice! We can't wait to go back and relive our wedding experience every anniversary! We chose Kittle House in large part because of Kimberly's enthusiasm to help us customize everything to reflect our backgrounds and preferences. My husband is Brazilian and Leo and the team went above and beyond to source our favorite Brazilian foods! The wedding weekend was perfect - every time we thought of something, it had already been taken care of by the team. They were so helpful and kind throughout the planning process, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful day. In particular, our wedding coordinator, Kimberly Ann, was absolutely amazing. She was constantly thinking of ideas, keeping us informed and making helpful suggestions (as well as dealing with my barrage of crazy stressed out emails). They also made us feel like our wedding was important and special-- when I tell other people who were married at catering halls and other venues about our experience, they are shocked at the personalized attention and extraordinary treatment we received. The location is beautiful, the food is delicious and they are a dream to work with. You absolutely want to book this venue!

Tiffany, Leo and the team were hands-on and assisted us with every question we had leading up to the big day and were attentive to our requests to customize the venue and special night. Tiffany and staff really made the days leading up to the night stress-free as they assisted with all aspects of set-up and coordination with all of our outside vendors, including photography, band and flowers. On the day of, the Staff met all of our expectations and the night was absolutely perfect. Our guests were raving about the grounds, the food and our ability to have our perfect indoor/outdoor wedding. We are excited to return to the Kittle House in the years to come for our future celebrations and recommend the venue to all considering it for their wedding day.

I was just married at the Kittle House this past weekend, and cannot speak more highly of it. Kimberly, Leo, Joseph, and the rest of the staff are incredibly attentive and will work to make sure your wedding is anything but cookie-cutter. The venue itself is beautiful, with big windows and a lovely outdoor space for the ceremony. My husband and I always felt like our perspective mattered, and did I mention the food and wine are outrageously good? We actually opted not to have a cake because the dessert selection was so delicious (FYI, the Kittle Kat Torte makes a great substitution if you want to have a cake-cutting moment). My groom and I were very interested in using local produce, proteins, and beers, and chef Jay and the restaurant management were not only accommodating, but eager to work on the menu with us. Kimberly had an answer for every question, and recommendations for every other vendor, from makeup to music to photography to even babysitting. They worked with our schedule, our room needs, and worked tirelessly to make every guest feel full, happy, and danced out by the end of the evening (including us). And the best part? My husband and I get to go back every year to celebrate our anniversary!

The Kittle House was the perfect venue for our wedding! After seeing the venue and learning about all the custom options, we cancelled all out other site visits and chose the Kittle House! From the farm to table food, to the outdoor garden and cocktail hour, everything was perfect. Kimberly was amazing to work with- she listened to every request and allowed me to customize the menu, gave me great recommendations, and went above and beyond to guarantee my day would be perfect! The Maitre D' staff was also amazing- always making sure my husband and I had everything we needed during the wedding night. Jessica even helped sew the bustle on my dress when it ripped! Could not further recommend this venue and staff!!!

Kittle House was a great choice for our international, destination August wedding. We were looking for a venue close to NYC so it can easily accommodate our overseas families and friends, mostly flying into JFK, and transportation (train + cab) was a breeze even for those who didn’t drive. The venue felt very special from the start, historic inn gives it relaxed, but stylish look, different from a regular catering hall. We especially enjoyed the garden, lush greenery and perfect views for outdoor ceremony setup. We were going for classy, yet laid-back, garden party ambience, with a killer after party, and all our wishes came true because of amazing support and accommodations of Kittle House staff, in particular our coordinator Kimberly Ann. Since it was a destination wedding for us, we planned almost everything by email, and Kimberly was always there for us, very creative, attentive and responsive. We only visited the venue a few times before the wedding, but each was a great treat, we felt truly welcome. On site restaurant is great and worth a separate visit. Kimberly was extremely thoughtful and creative in incorporating traditions from our cultures and accommodating the needs of the international guests. Kittle House is very open to adding any spice to your event: we had outside vendor Chinese desserts delivered, a s’mores roast, a late night campfire party and even our own hookah for the afterparty. The venue felt truly the best of both worlds, with comfort of all-inclusive venue (gorgeous in-house linens, flowers and decor, and awesome food + planning expertise) and creativity and flexibility of bespoke event planning. Inn rooms were a great plus, everyone definitely appreciated the opportunity to prepare in large stylish rooms (we even did family photos inside), and going straight to bed at the end of a long night. The wedding day was a breeze with coordination and support of our planner, maitre’d and event coordinator. We really didn’t need to hire a wedding planner since Kittle House team did the job perfectly. The food, from entrees to desserts, was amazing, and the day was so stress-free that even us (bride and groom) managed to get to try everything! Venue took great care of vendors, guests, and the newlyweds themselves, making sure we were fed, hydrated, and knew what’s going on. The end of the party was great too -- Kittle House staff collected all our belongings from the reception area during the afterparty in the Inn Bar, and brought those to our room, packing next morning was so easy. We are so excited to refer the venue to our friends, and will be coming back to the restaurant when traveling in Upstate NY.

My husband and I got married at the Kittle House on May 26th of this year and everything was PERFECT! We visited the Kittle House a couple of times before the big day for a brunch with family and dinner with parents so they could see the venue and each time they knew exactly who we were and accommodated us in every way possible. The staff are super friendly and they all genuinely wanted to make sure we were happy.Tiffany is the best wedding planner around. She always got back to me ASAP and helped me feel at ease with the whole process. She organized everything for us leading up to the wedding which helped me feel less overwhelmed!During the big day Leo was our main man, planning the entire day and having everything run smoothly. He always made sure my husband and I had our glasses full, had something to eat, and made sure we were satisfied. When we were making our rounds going to each table thanking everyone, we returned to our table to find a full set up of champagne and food already served to us, this was perfect because we ate while everyone was up getting their food (buffet)- this also went smoothly.. not a cluster of people racing for the buffet.Before the wedding, when everyone was getting ready in our rooms, they served us mimosas and munchies (chicken wraps, fruit platter, salad, etc.). This was just enough so everyone had something in their stomach before cocktail hour- which was also a hit. So many varieties of food, it was amazing. Everyone raved about how amazing the food was. I could go on and on about how perfect everything was the day of our wedding. I would give the Kittle House a 10 star rating if I could!!!My husband and I wish we could re-live the whole experience :)

We had our ceremony and reception at Crabtree's Kittle House and it was exactly what we envisioned. It's a beautiful venue, the service is impeccable and the food is delicious. Kimberly Ann, Leo, Joe and Jennifer made us feel like family and seamlessly made the whole event go off with ease. The only thing we could possibly worry about was the weather, which held up beautifully! The venue was perfect and didn't need much additional decor, as it had an old school classic charm. All our guests raved about the place, the food and how nice everyone was. Planning was so easy and trusting Kimberly Ann was a no-brainer. She was on top of all he details, had the most thoughtful suggestions and made the process as calm and exciting as possible. Leo, Joe and Jennifer went above and beyond when it came to all the details - always providing us food - while we got ready, while we were taking photos and throughout the wedding. Unlike most brides, I was well fed - and much appreciative. The Kittle House is such a gem and we’re so glad that it was such a special part of our story.

We had the most amazing experience having our wedding at Kittle House! From our first visit, our event coordinator Tiffany was incredibly helpful, responsive, and warm. We had a number of requests for small changes or additions related to the food and drinks at the wedding, and the Kittle House team was very flexible in working with us to find a solution. The maitre'd Jessica was a total life-saver, making sure every detail was set up perfectly and even sewing the groom's pants after they split in the middle of the ceremony. Our families and wedding party repeatedly commented about how calm we were, and we were able to be so largely thanks to Tiffany and Jessica keeping things moving smoothly, anticipating our needs, and going above and beyond with thoughtful gestures. Two shining examples of this were bringing us a sample of hors d'oeuvres to our room while my hair was getting re-done after the ceremony, and placing a sample dessert plate at our table to make sure we didn't miss the chance to try it due to socializing and dancing.The venue itself was picture-perfect -- the outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour and the reception in the atrium room were beautiful and exactly what we hoped for. A number of people complimented us on selecting such a pretty venue and enjoyed reading about the history of the house. The setup of the atrium room was very intimate without being crowded, and all 130 of our guests were able to mingle comfortably with plenty of room to dance, even with a photo booth and DJ setup.The food and drinks were also phenomenal. The variety and flexibility we were able to offer were greatly appreciated by our guests, and the quality of everything was yet another thing we heard compliments about. The chef seemed to enjoy the challenge of helping us offer items not on the menu that expressed our tastes and shared history, and it really shined through.We, the wedding party, and our parents stayed at the Kittle House Inn the night before and night of the wedding, and it made for a great backdrop for getting-ready pictures, as well as adding a huge convenience to us all. The rooms were very nice and quaint, and complimented the aesthetic of the wedding perfectly. The inclusion of continental breakfast, as well as a convenient gathering point for the ceremony and rehearsal, made coordinating everyone very simple.We loved having our wedding at Crabtree's Kittle House, and we hope we get invited to another wedding there to enjoy it all over again. We plan on visiting for our anniversary to relive our perfect wedding day!

My husband and I got married on March 25th and had our reception at the Crabtree's Kittle House. Throughout the process of trying to decide on the reception venue for us, we visited a bunch of places. And initially, we were down to 2 finalists. But it felt like even our two initial finalists were just not quite \"us.\" So, we decided to keep looking. The first place we visited on this second round of venue tours was Crabtree. We both knew almost immediately that this was the one for us. It has a simplicity and a beautiful combination of rustic elegance that we loved. And the food, oh boy, the food! There was no time during our wedding planning process that we regretted choosing Crabtree. We worked with Tiffany, their Wedding Coordinator along the way and she was able to accommodate every detail we requested, from providing space for small board games at the cocktail hour to providing my husband's favorite beer from Virginia to serving dinner family style! On the day of, our maitre'd, Leo, was the biggest help you could ask for! He kept us on schedule during the reception, continuously took care of my husband and I with drinks and food, and even accommodated us and a few friends for brunch the following day. You will have the happiest of wedding days if you choose Crabtree's Kittle House. We certainly did!

Tiffany was also incredibly responsive and professional. Leo was incredibly attentive and a huge help the entire day. The waitstaff are also unbelievably attentive and lovely. We cannot say enough great things about the Kittle House. The venue was the first place we looked and we knew we would end up there. No other venue or staff compared! Tiffany, our event planner, was incredible from the start of planning to the moment we left Sunday morning. She responded to every email and question very quickly and worked with us on random requests I had throughout the process. Both maitre'ds were so helpful and on-top of every little thing. Noone missed a beat! People can't stop talking about the food, I don't think there was anything leftover on anyone's dinner plate. I would 100% recommend the Kittle House to anyone who is planning a wedding! The whole staff makes planning so easy and stress-free! Mr. Crabtree's dog that is around randomly put a smile on everyone's face as well! Thank you to the whole team there!

I do not even know where to begin when it comes to reviewing Crabtree's Kittle House for my November wedding. Their are too many goods things to say about our experience, and a short blurb could not possibly do it justice but I'll try... CKH was superb from start to finish, and that does not only include the wedding day. Literally, from the moment we contacted them about possibly touring the venue to the morning after our wedding, CKH was professional, caring and genuinely interested in making our wedding perfect. Tiffany was our venue coordinator and she was phenomenal to work with throughout the wedding planning process. Leo was also amazing and personally saw to it that all of our needs were met (even when we didn't realize we needed something!). They were organized and always stayed on top of the little details, which isn't easy when working with brides that are constantly changing their minds and adding this, that and the other thing. My husband and I never felt like a bother. Rather, we felt like family every time that we stopped by the venue. Our guests still rave about how beautiful everything looked and the FOOD. Some guests said it was the best wedding food they've ever had! Thank you to everyone at CKH for giving my husband and I the wedding of our dreams.

We got married at the Kittle House on September 17, 2016. We had so many guests tell us it was the most beautiful wedding they've ever been to (and that includes people who had seen their own children get married and came over to whisper to us that it was the most spectacular wedding they'd seen in their 60 years of life, as well as many of our friends who these days are pretty much professional wedding guests).We can’t imagine how anyone plans a wedding without the assistance of Kimberly Ann. From the first time we met with her to view the Kittle House, we were treated like family --- a feeling that continued throughout our entire planning process, which included several different visits to the Kittle House with several different members of our family. We were always taken care of, and always treated to special surprises.In regards to planning, Kimberly Ann was continually going above and beyond throughout the year-long process of us planning our wedding. She would message us with different ideas she’d see that fit into our vision -- most of which we ended up using! And she did an amazing job of keeping track of what felt like our continuous stream of ideas and updates from us...keeping everything organized and making us feel calm, confident, and taken care of from day 1 to the end.Obviously, the Kittle House grounds are remarkable, and contributed tremendously to the best days of our lives. The garden setting for our ceremony and cocktail hour was spectacularly gorgeous, and the reception space was perfect. All of our guests were in awe of how unique and beautiful the venue is - and even our band commented on how nice it was and how great the acoustics were. It also goes without saying that the food and service are spectacular, which again contributed to our wedding feeling unique and a cut above most other cookie-cutter weddings. And the day of the wedding, of course, Kimberly Ann was there, making sure everything was running smoothly.Our whole wedding party got ready in the Inn and it was such a wonderful way to spend the start to our wedding day - and made for some gorgeous photos of the getting ready process, too. Throughout our engagement, the phrase we said the most was “Thank Goodness for Kimberly Ann and Thank Goodness we picked the Kittle House.” We can’t thank them enough.

We got married at the Crabtree's Kittle House on Saturday, October 8, 2016. From the moment we first stepped foot onto the grounds for our tour of the space as a potential wedding venue, Tiffany, Jessica, Jay and the rest of the Kittle House team treated us like family. We were immediately blown away by their impeccable service, amazing food, and the historic charm of the venue that we knew this was the right place for our wedding. We planned the wedding from a far (we live in California) and Tiffany made the process so easy and seamless. Anytime we had any questions, concerns or requests, she always followed up with us promptly and put any worries to rest. A few days before our wedding, unfortunately my husband had to have emergency surgery and Tiffany and the team once again helped accommodate us in every way possible to make sure the day still went as planned. Everything was handled with such grace and professionalism, and they even surprised us with an additional dessert to accompany our already amazing dessert table. Just small, yet thoughtful touches made the entire experience that much more memorable.We are forever grateful to the entire Crabtree Kittle House team for making our wedding day so special and one that we will never forget. We look forward to coming back and celebrating our anniversaries with them!

My husband and I just recently had our wedding at Crabtree's Kittle House Inn on October 8, 2016 and it was amazing. Not only is the inn visually spectacular, but the staff are incredibly helpful and personal throughout the entire process. Our onsite event coordinator, Tiffany, did an amazing job throughout our year of planning, answering questions and providing some truly wonderful suggestions along the way. We cannot thank her enough. Additionally, our maitre 'd Leo was incredibly helpful throughout the night, from guiding us through the wine cellular during photos to making sure our glasses were never empty.Similar to the service, the farm to table menu was absolutely wonderful. Many of our guests delighted in telling us that they were amazed by the food served (the roasted chicken, sirloin of beef, and Farro Pilaf) and wanted to come back for either the brunch or dinner. Lastly, the late night S’mores option was a hit with the guests and helped to close the night out on the patio underneath the stars while other were still dancing.This little gem in Chappaqua, NY is worth a look at for the food alone, but also has incredible service with some of the nicest staff I have ever meet, and a wonderfully historic home located in an easy to get to location.

From the very beginning, I worked with the event coordinator, Kimberly, to learn more about the venue and eventually finalize all the little details for the big day. Kimberly is not only incredibly professional and knowledgable, she is also kind, helpful, and easy to work with. Kimberly wanted to make our day perfect while also ensuring we were relaxed and ready to have a great time. We also loved the food at the Kittle House; we had a brunch wedding on the main floor, which was absolutely perfect! The food was delicious and plentiful, which was our number one priority when selecting a venue. We also loved the decor on the main floor, which is cozy and intimate. Overall our guests complimented us on the service, food, and ambiance of the Kittle House. We could not have been happier with the entire wedding planning process and we have Kimberly and the rest of the Kittle House staff to thank. If you want a beautiful wedding in a unique setting, the Kittle House is the place for you!

This place is amazing. I was looking for a venue that was unlike every other wedding venue I've ever been to, and boy did I find it. The grounds are so beautiful, the food is outstanding, and the staff is phenomenal. I worked with Kimberly the event coordinator, and she was a god send. She was so helpful throughout the whole planning process. I couldn't have been any more happy with them. The Inn is gorgeous. All my guests loved their rooms, and they were very comfortable. Barbara the Inn Keeper was my point of contact for that, and she was very helpful, and patient. These people know what they are doing, and they do it very well. They also make you feel comfortable, like a part of their family. My wedding day was nothing short of amazing, and a lot of it has to do with the staff at Crabtree's Kittle House. Thank you so much.

We visited the Kittle House because it is a beautiful venue. Our wedding is VERY formal and wanted a place to match it. We also are having a winter wedding so it was a nice spot to have something outside during the summer. (Best of both worlds!!)After visiting the Kittle House, we KNEW that it was the perfect venue for our engagement party. Kimberly, the event coordinator, made everything run smoothly and look amazing. She was very responsive even way before we booked the venue. This is one of the main reasons we also booked them. She truly loves what she does and it wasn't just to book an event. The day of the vent was PERFECTION!!! Michael and Kimberly were both amazing along with all of the service staff. Everyone still talks about it and we are so appreciative! My husband and I are still glowing from our August 2016 wedding at Crabtree’s Kittle House! Kittle House was the first venue I looked at and I could not be happier that it was my final choice too! From our first tour with Kimberly, I could envision getting married at this beautiful property and I got to do so last weekend. Kimberly, Mike, Leo, and Chef Jay were a magnificent team to work with and they went above and beyond. They treated us like family during the planning process and wedding weekend-- we are excited to keep coming back for anniversaries with our “Westchester family”. The rest of the staff was caring, attentive, and engaging throughout our entire wedding weekend and made sure that everything ran smoothly! The food was unbelievable and plentiful. Our signature cocktails were made to perfection to match our requests. We had quite the dance party for our 150 guests and there was room to host our 9- piece band that made the evening come alive! We had our close friends and family stay at the Inn the night of the wedding which enhanced our around the clock experience at Kittle House! We cannot recommend the Kittle House enough for anyone else looking for the perfect wedding venue!

We held our wedding reception at The Kittle House back in June and I can only think of one word to describe the day...PERFECT. It was truly perfect, and two months later all our family and friends are still telling us what an amazing time they had. The Kittle House has always been a special place for both myself and my husband. We grew up in Bedford and had been going to The Kittle House with our own families since we were kids, it was a common ground that brought back great memories for us both. What made it even better was having the gardens just outside the dining room for our guests to enjoy some fresh air. We didn't have a wedding planner, so I worked directly with Tiffany, who was absolutely amazing and so accommodating. With half my family being from Italy and that being such a huge part of my life, there were a lot of details that I wanted to impart on the day to make it more personal and more unique to our day, whether it was the entree selections or wines, they said yes to everything with a smile. Michael, the Miatre D', was so helpful and attentive the night of our reception. The Kittle House makes you forget that any other wedding will take place there outside of your own. As someone who hates the phrase \"wedding venue\" and always imagined having a backyard tent wedding, I can honestly say that our wedding was a one-of-a-kind experience, something that I believe every couple deserves!

Michael and his staff were wonderful to provide a perfect day wedding for us. Tiffany and the staff were very accommodating to our needs and incorporated our ideas into the wedding. I would rate them a 5 star for the attentiveness, the wonderful catering and attention to detail. They have a great outdoor and indoor facility that supplied different themes. The outdoor garden is lovely and indoor provided options for our guests. Definitely would recommend them for a wedding at any time.

We just celebrated our wedding on August 6, 2016 and it was a total dream come true. I am a planner (as well as a control freak) and had planned every tiny detail, which made it very hard to leave it in the hands of someone else. I cannot say enough great things about Tiffany and Michael. They took my vision and turned it into a breathtaking wedding. I worked with Tiffany (the event coordinator) from the beginning and felt like I was planning my wedding with my best friend. She is incredibly sweet as well as helpful and attentive. She was the last person I saw before walking down the aisle and she totally calmed me down and made me feel at ease. Michael was the maitre d' and saw that everything ran smoothly...and it did. I immediately felt like he was a part of the family. He didn't just help run things, but took care of our families and friends. I have received so many compliments from family and friends since the big day. Everyone has RAVED about the food (seriously the best food anyone has ever had at a wedding), the ambience, and the staff. I cannot say enough good things about Tiffany, Michael and the Kittle House! It was truly an amazing weekend.

We chose to have our wedding at Kittle House for several reasons- the venue and the grounds are beautiful, the food is amazing and the staff is not only professional but also friendly and wonderful! Additionally, the Inn rooms (where we and our families stayed the entire weekend) are also quaint, charming and perfect for pictures! We worked with Tiffany, Michael, and Leo. Tiffany was our coordinator from day one; she was so personable and made us feel extremely comfortable. She answered any questions we had promptly and with great detail. During our planning stage, Tiffany and Leo went above and beyond at our tasting, which was delicious and fun. On the day of our rehearsal and wedding, we were so impressed by the organization and fluidity of everything. Michael (maître d and manager) was there to ensure the timeline of the day flowed smoothly, in fact he even made sure my husband and I were eating properly! My husband and I did not have to worry about a thing. Our vision came together so flawlessly and our wedding day was actually perfect; we could not have asked for anything more.

My husband and I just had our wedding at The Kittle House and we wouldn't have changed a thing! Every single detail was perfect and every member of the staff was so lovely to work with. Our coordinator, Tiffany Hogan, was the absolute best. She answered my (many, many) questions promptly and was such an essential source for advice during the process. We truly feel that we couldn't have pulled it off without her. When it came to the actual day of our wedding, I felt so at ease and completely confident that everything would go smoothly. She made it such a stress free experience!On top of the amazing staff, the venue itself is incredible. It's beautiful and historic with the most amazing food. All of our guests were raving about the cuisine, as it really stands out from a standard country club type wedding. Whether it was our actual wedding day, our 1 year anniversary, or a random weeknight dinner, Crabtree's Kittle House make you feel like family. Tiffany was exceptional in making our dream wedding become a reality, starting with the planning stage up, and through helping pack up all of our stuff the day after the wedding. Her guidance, expertise, and enthusiasm was invaluable to us, and we love seeing her every time we go back. Leo is also someone who we always enjoy seeing at Kittle House. He always comes to our table, not only to check in and say hello and ask how we are doing, but to also provide us with the best recommendations for food and wine that Kittle House has to offer. All of the staff was professional and courteous during our wedding, ensuring our guests were well taken care of, especially both sets of parents. As for the food at our wedding...Amazing. The variety of food was only matched by the consistent high quality of the local, sustainable ingredients, and by the impeccable cooking techniques and creativity of Chef Jay and his staff. If you consider yourself a foodie and wine lover, Kittle House is the place to have your wedding. As for the venue itself, it is beautiful and unique, a more intimate and memorable choice when compared to the typical country club or banquet hall. Our ceremony and cocktail hour was held in their garden on a beautiful August evening. For us, Crabtree's Kittle House is not just \"the place where we got married,\" but rather a place where we started the beginning of a beautiful life together. We were looking for a venue that was not a “wedding factory” and that is exactly what we found in the Kittle House! Each room at the Inn is so charming. My bridesmaids and I stayed in 2F and it was the perfect place to hang out during the morning and take pictures. Our entire wedding party and immediate family was able to stay in the Inn the night of the wedding, which made breakfast the next morning so special. Tiffany was a dream to work with. She had a calm presence from start to finish and was so helpful in answering all of my questions. She truly goes above and beyond to make sure your wedding is exactly how you envision. Her hard work made everything run smoothly. She even wrote us a note of congratulations a couple days after the wedding. The staff at the Kittle House are so accommodating, whether it be allergies or setting up complicated escort cards. The food was delicious and all the guests really enjoyed themselves! Our day was beyond perfect and we are overjoyed we booked our wedding here.

My family and I thought having my daughter's wedding at Crabtree Kittle House was a sure thing. We had eaten at the restaurant a multitude of times. The food and service were always amazing. We were greatly disappointed with catering part of the restaurant. Food was not at the same level as the restaurant. The steak was tough and the fish was dry in some cases. It took more then an hour for tables to receive their dinners. Instead of bringing everyone's dinner out on a large tray waiters were bringing them out two at a time. It seemed like the waiter staff were very inexperienced. Also we were told that the food that we ordered for the cocktail hour was going to be an abundance. We were extremely disappointed with the portions of food that were displayed. The venue room was very hot. The air conditioner under the atrium was leaking. At the end of the evening someone put a bucket to catch the leaking water from the ceiling. We also felt that the Maître was not present when needed. When guests were arriving to the venue they were assembling in the bar and side garden area were the bride and groom were taking photos with the photographer. The bride should not have been seen until the ceremony. The Maître d' should have had guests assemble in the garden where the ceremony was going to take place. We had our June 2016 wedding at the Kittle House, and the beautiful location, friendly and efficient service, and delicious-not-just-by-wedding-standards food truly blew us away. Tiffany, the fabulous event coordinator there, really held our hands through the process and was patient and responsive with every question and concern (and even those of the mother of the bride). She really went out of her way to be helpful. One example: the couple who held their wedding their the evening before had selected gray seat cushions, and Tiffany offered to keep them for an extra day in case we wanted to use them. She fulfilled a preference we didn’t even know we had. The outdoor location is truly beautiful (overlooks a golf course, but you really can’t tell), and the food, well, there’s a reason why it’s the favorite restaurant of one former president and one future president (i.e., the Clintons).On our wedding day, we didn’t have to think about much since we and our guests were completely cared for and attended to. We heard praise for the staff from everyone!We visited four or five places and this one was the standard no others could compare to. To this day I’m not sure how we found them, but we’re so glad we did. It’s not cheap, but it’s worth it. They really are a five-star establishment. They are awesome. Downside (or minor quibble for snobs): The coffee is not ‘third-wave’. Is that important for your event? Get married at Kaffe 1668 or just bring your own beans.

There is no way for me to put into words how WONDERFUL and PERFECT my wedding of 200 was at the Kittle House! We have loved the restaurant for years, and knew it was where we wanted to get married before we were even engaged - and we absolutely made the best decision in all of Westchester County and beyond. As an event planner myself, I know what it takes to put an event of this magnitude together and have worked with countless venues in the area, and I can't begin to compliment Tiffany, Leo and Michael for their incredible professionalism, talent and passion for what they do. They made our every wish a reality, and I walked into my wedding feeling 100% confident that everything was taken care of at the highest level, which I have never been able to do for any other event! I was so relieved to know I had their unbelievable staff behind me, and they were there every single step of the way. I can't possibly say enough about them! The room and back lawn was beautiful and comfortable (even at capacity with a full 8-piece band), the service by their fantastic and friendly waitstaff is impeccable and of course, the food is out of control good. We chose the Kittle House based on our love of the food and the magnificent wine list (and cellar, which I would recommend pictures in!), and we got so, so much more. In addition, our entire bridal party and both sets of parents stayed at the Inn, which was lovely. Beautiful rooms and so convenient. There is no way we could have had a more perfect and memorable wedding weekend. We are so excited to have chosen a venue that we can go back to time and time again and enjoy for our next dinner out, or our next big party. We will never look any further for a special occasion. My husband and I were married at the Kittle House on November 7, 2015, and couldn't be happier about our decision. We booked the day we saw the place for the first time, and it was the only venue we checked out. We were trying to avoid a \"wedding factory\" kind of feel, and the Kittle House delivered. \rThe setting is tranquil and classy with a slight rustic feel. Tiffany was our planner, and she was with us every step of the way, day and night. She had creative ideas, which our guests loved, but also listened to our requests, and delivered on everything we wanted from spiked hot cider for our guests during the ceremony, to grilled cheese and tomato soup shooters at the cocktail hour! The maitre d', Michael, was the most accommodating person I have ever worked with. Our ceremony was supposed to be inside since it was November; but, the weather was so unseasonably warm, that Michael worked to move it outside, which is exactly what we had hoped for. Everything went according to plan without a hiccup. It actually went better than expected because we were able to have our dog walk down the aisle. The inn is pet friendly! Oh...and it's a inn, so we were able to stay the night before, get ready there, and have pictures taken without having to worry about limousines and traveling from one location to another. I can't leave out Leo, the sommelier, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and everyone was taken care of. Book this place. Do it! You won't regret it.

From the atmosphere to the food, drinks and event coordinators our wedding was absolutely perfect. Barbara and the rest of the staff not only answered every single one of my 400 questions quickly, but they also gave wonderful suggestions, were accommodating at every turn and really made us feel like family through the entire planning process and during the weekend of our wedding. The gardens outside create the backdrop for a stunning ceremony and the atrium room is gorgeous lit up at night! Plus, being able to take photos in the wine cellar are amazing! And Sunday brunch is incredible for the morning after a wedding!!!!! Every single bride and groom deserve an experience like the one Kittle House is able to provide.

After viewing many wedding venues in Westchester County, we decided to look at Crabtree's Kittle House - and we are so glad we did! Tiffany (our eventual event planner) was very prompt in responding to my initial inquiry and was so kind over the phone. When we first arrived, Tiffany had booklets of past weddings for us to view, she took time to answer all of our questions and give us a tour of the site. The main atrium room with the adjacent garden was so intimate and was one of the main reasons we fell in love with this venue. We waited less than 2 weeks to sign a contract.\rThroughout the entire process, Tiffany was available via phone and email anytime. She always responded promptly and would answer numerous questions graciously. She constantly had additional suggestions, but never pushed me to change what my vision was. She was always polite, kind, professional and trustworthy. She thought of everything we needed and executed it perfectly. I wasn't nervous about the reception because I knew things were going to be perfect because Tiffany was at the helm. Our wedding was a success because of Tiffany, I have no idea what I would have done without having her every step of the way.\rThe food was incredible and our guests could not stop talking about the variety and quantity of food available throughout our reception. The entire staff was polite and accommodating with whatever we needed for any guests (allergies, gluten free, etc). The staff was efficient and prompt through the entire evening but were never obtrusive. \rI remember saying to my husband \"I wish we could get married here everyday\" because of how perfect everything was during the reception. There was not a single thing I would change about the day. Having our wedding at Crabtree's Kittle House was the best decision we made and would recommend them to anyone having a wedding in the area. I cannot say enough positive things about the Kittle House. I discovered the Kittle House about a year and a half before my wedding date, and knew from the second I walked in that I wanted to get married there. The venue is charming, historic, unique, and beautiful. Also, the food is amazing. We had dinner at their restaurant multiple times to taste test the food before our wedding. Working with Kimberly while planning the wedding was such a breeze - she responded to every single email I sent her (even when I was starting to get a little crazy and was sending 10 a day!), she always had great suggestions, always was willing to help, and always made me feel calm during all of that planning stress. The night of the reception went so smoothly - I cannot think of a single thing that went wrong. That was all due to Kimberly and the Maitre'd Leo. They were both phenomenal! We received so much positive feedback from guests about how they were blown away by the venue, food, and the service. My husband and I highly recommend the Kittle House!

Kimberly Ann, the event coordinator, was so helpful throughout the entire planning process by offering guidance and suggestions, answering all of our questions, and being accommodating to all of our ideas and requests. Her calm, happy attitude was part of the reason we chose the Kittle House - we could tell she really loves her job and that our wedding would be in very good hands. I did not grow up dreaming of my wedding. I didn't have a clear vision in mind. Even after my now husband and I got engaged in August 2013, I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted my wedding to be. But we started to look around and quickly determined that we didn't want a cookie cutter wedding experience at a catering hall. We were looking for a warm and intimate space outside of Manhattan but still convenient for our city-based guests. We wanted a unique feel with a mix of class and country, where it would feel like \"us\" without being overdone. \r\rI don't like to use the word \"perfect\" because it's not a goal buzz word for what I strive for in my own life. But I know my husband and I would say and have said that we had a perfect wedding at Crabtree's Kittle House. We were blessed with a gorgeous and brisk fall Sunday in October for our afternoon affair. Kimberly had partnered closely, patiently, and delightfully with us since the winter, answering all our questions and tending to all our needs. On the day of the wedding the entire Kittle House staff - including Kimberly and Gustavo - ensured that we wanted for nothing.\r\rWe were happy and worry-free guests at our own wedding. When I think of us standing under the chuppah together in that serene garden surrounded by our loved ones I want to relive the day again and again. It was the most incredible experience which surpassed our expectations. It was even more special that we spent two nights at the inn right after the wedding so we could hold onto the wedding energy for days after. Plus we already booked a weekend at the inn for our one year anniversary. We look forward to years ahead of joyous memories shared at the Kittle House.\r\rGetting married at the Kittle House was the wedding I never knew I wanted and now cannot imagine not having had. Kimberly, thank you again and again.

September 20, 2014. A perfect wedding! Our son and his beautiful bride were married at the Crabtree's Kittle House and then the party began! Everything from start to finish was perfect. From organization to attention to every detail. From the amazing grounds to the wonderful ballroom to the food and wine(that we are still getting such fabulous compliments on). Kimberly Ann and Gustavo are the most dedicated professionals who work seamlessly with their team. Everyone works tirelessly to ensure a beautiful and flawless celebration. Can't say enough about Kimberly. She goes so far beyond her title of wedding coordinator. She's always available and organized. She speaks softly and soothingly and is quick with a smile. Yet no detail escapes her. She truly loves what she does and this is demonstrated in all that she does. Gustavo is a maitre d' extraordinaire - always present and in charge. Always on top and ahead of any situation which may need his attention. He was truly hiding in plain sight -a master of multi tasking. Gustavo is another individual at the top of his game and loving what he does. The grounds are fantastic and the food was incredibly delicious. Our friends and family can't stop talking about it. Not only was it tasty but also paired remarkably with the perfect wines. The food was plentiful and the desserts were the perfect sweet ending to a fairy tale event! Crabtree's Kittle House proved to be the perfect venue for our wedding, and we recommend it to other couples wholeheartedly! The setting itself is beautiful, replete with historical charm and stunning vistas. The thoughtfulness of the owners/management is evident at every turn, from the tasteful decor to the carefully curated menus. What truly sets it apart -- if we were forced to pick just one thing -- was the superlative level of service. John, Kim, Leo, Gustavo, Amie, and every member of their staff went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding was a dream come true! The Kittle House is the perfect venue for a garden wedding! We were thrilled with every aspect of the event & the attentive staff was most accommodating to every detail. The food & wine were exceptional - & we were very pleased to see that local purveyors were used whenever possible. Kimberly & the staff were very helpful in guiding us whenever they could in the planning process - which gave the event a very personalized feel (as opposed to the \"cookie cutter\" feel we've experienced at many wedding receptions). It was a beautiful & memorable event - & I highly recommend the Kittle House for weddings or any event you would need to plan!

Everything about the wedding was perfect. Kimberly and Gustavo anticipated and filled every need. During the planning process they were always available and patient. The bride and groom were very specific as to what they wanted, and worked hard to make it personal and customized. Kimberly was totally accommodating. Everyone said it was the best wedding they had ever attended. The ceremony was outside in a beautiful spot with a great view. The reception was inside and spilled outside as well. The venue is very special and unique. You won't see other brides around like you do at some places. It's a private experience. \rOh, and we stayed at the inn that night. Also highly recommended.

September 20, 2014 - A perfect wedding! Our son and his beautiful bride were married at Crabtree's Kittle House. Their celebration was truly special from start to finish and in no small part due to the outstanding ability of the entire Kittle House team. From the organization to the attention everyone paid to EVERY detail; from the amazing grounds to the wonderful ballroom, and the food, wine and desserts (still hearing many, many compliments) it was all perfect! \r\rKimberly Ann and Gustavo are the most dedicated professionals who work seamlessly with their team. Everyone's tireless efforts ensured a beautiful and celebration. \r\rKimberly - cant say enough. She goes so far beyond her title of wedding coordinator. She was always available and able to listen, suggest, and organize. She spoke softly and soothingly, was quick with a smile, calmed nerves and no detail escaped her. It is easy to see that Kimberly loves what she does. She works very hard and makes it all seem effortless. Kimberly's presence doesn't end with the night of the wedding. She helped pack up and store items and still keeps in touch. \r\rGustavo is a maitre d' extraordinaire. He was always present and in charge. There was norequest that he couldn't handle. Gustavo was always on top and ahead of any situation which might need his attention. He was truly hiding in plain sight and a master of multitasking Gustavo is yet another individual whomismat the top of his game and love what he does. \r\rFinally, the grounds are fabulous and the food was incredibly delicious. Our family and friends cannot stop talking about all of it. Special requests (vegetarian and gluten free) were no problem. Gustavo even found some gluten free desserts for several guests. Not only was the dinner wonderful, the wine pairings were perfect and the portions quite plentiful. The desserts were a delightfully sweet ending to a fairy tale wedding celebration. \r\rThank you to everyone at Crabtree Kittle House.

My husband and I were married at the Crabtree Kittlehouse in August of 2014. When we first drove up the winding driveway and saw the Kittlehouse for the first time we fell a little bit in love with it. Once we started seeing the gardens and outdoor areas we had an idea that this would be the place for us.\r\rOur number one concern was food for our guests. We hated the idea of a factory wedding in a large catering hall with mediocre food. We wanted good food and we wanted to know every single person that came and sat down to celebrate with us. And Kittle House made that happen. There food was so good and they were very accommodating. We needed to have some gluten free and vegetarian options and there was no problem. They even created a gelato bar for us and even set up their fire pit so we could do our s'mores favors.\r\rKimberly Ann is the wedding coordinator and she was with us every step of the way. She answered every email we ever sent (and there were HUNDREDS over a 2 year period) and she would even send us little ideas here and there that she thought we would like. Gustavo is the maitre d' and he was there to help us during the night of the wedding. Separate, these two are amazing but together they are a powerhouse team. They know exactly what they are doing and they make it so that on your wedding day you don't have to worry about anything.\r\rEven hours before our wedding, it started pouring and of course I was worried. I had my heart set on an outdoor wedding so Gustavo waited until 15 minutes before the wedding to move everything inside. And the ceremony turned out amazing anyway. With the rain coming down the side of the glass windows, it looked magical. And the rain cleared up in time to have guests wander outside and have our fire pit.\r\rMy husband and I could not be happier that we had our wedding at the kittle house. They really are a wonderful place that makes each event special. The whole place is a dream and we are so happy that we went with our gut and had our wedding there.\r\rThank you Kimberly Ann and Gustavo! AKA the dream team!

Crabtree's Kittle House was an excellent choice for our daughter's wedding. The facility is beautiful. The food, wonderful. Kimberly Ann graciously helped guide us through all the arrangements and the event went flawlessly. She was a pleasure to work with and made us feel like family. John Crabtree went above and beyond to make certain we were all happy. Gustavo was on top of everything that day, orchestrating a wonderful day for all of us. Everyone enjoyed themselves. I would certainly recommend the Crabtree's Kittle House to anyone looking for terrific venue for their wedding day in the Hudson Valley.

Our experience at the Kittle House was absolutely wonderful! On top of being an undeniably unique and beautiful location, the food was delicious, and the overall experience we had working with Kimberly was just fantastic. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and enthusiastic from day one, and made what can be a very stressful process feel calm and relaxed. On the day of the wedding, she even sat on the floor with my mother to figure out the ridiculously complex bustle of my dress!! People always say you can't have a perfect wedding... In our case they were wrong! This is so much because of the amazing Kittle House staff. The night of the wedding, in addition to having Kimberly on deck, we also had the unbelievably diligent maitre d', Gustavo. If you want a truly special venue where you know you'll be 100% taken care of, the Kittle House is your best option by far.

We had a gorgeous wedding at the Kittle House over labor day weekend. Kimberly, the events manager, was truly the kindest, most thoughtful, most helpful hostess we could ever imagine. She suggested excellent local vendors, and set up several private tastings for us to experience the incredibly delicate, delicious menu. The food at our wedding was spectacular, the outdoor garden couldn't have been more beautiful for our ceremony, and the glass-enclosed reception hall was a magical place to dance the night away. We were extremely happy that we chose this venue--THANK YOU KITTLE HOUSE!!!

On July 11th we celebrated our wedding in Crabtree's Kittle House Inn. No words can describe how much we and our guests loved our experience! It was our dream wedding and it would be impossible to organize it without your staff.\r\rTiffany is the one who helped us from the beginning till the end. Both me and my husband agreed that we never experienced such a top-notch customer service as Tiffany gave us. She is extremely professional, bright and warm-hearted. Every email, every meeting with her, every second of our communication with her was a real pleasure. Her outstanding agreeableness and flexibility made is so easy to organize the event that we could afford and that we pictured in our dreams. She gave us lots of support and significantly decreased the level of stress that we experienced. Tiffany treated us as we are her family yet in a highly professional manner. We absolutely love her and will miss working with her.\r\rWe feel very grateful towards Gus. Even though we met him night before the wedding, his impact to the event flow was tremendous. He is super welcoming and professional. Every time us or any of my bridesmaids/groomsmen needed him, he was very easy to find. We felt a lot of his support, we could feel everything is under control thanks to him and Tiffany. The work of waitstaff was skillfully organized and we didn't have to worry about anything.\r\rWe do not know the names of our servers or bartender, but we were amazed by their friendliness and professionalism. The service was OUTSTANDING. We loved the way they treated us and our guests. Superb job!\r\rMe and my husband were too busy to eat. So I can not say much about the food. But all of my guests are completely happy with it! They keep talking about NY steak and polenta with mushroom. My vegan friends loved their special entrees. The presentation was beautiful and classy. We loved our cake, it looked and tasted awesome.\r\rTo put it in a nutshell, your employees are angels! Please take good care of them:-) We LOVED Crabtree's Kittle House Inn and everything about the place. We highly recommend it to anyone!

Where to start? Our wedding reception was perfect in every way because we had it at the Kittle House. \r\rKimberly Ann, Barbara, Gustavo, Leo, John Crabtree and the entire team are the classiest, hardest working people I have worked with in a long time. Kimberly Ann went so above and beyond her role as event coordinator - she was at times a trusted advisor and kindred spirit. It is great to work with someone who truly loves what she does, and it shows in every action and conversation. \r\rWe went to see a LOT of venues but when we went to the Kittle House, we got \"that\" feeling - that these were the people we could trust with our special day. The food and wine was outstanding and the service was spectacular. But it goes beyond that. Kimberly Ann was really our wedding coordinator, emailing me with suggestions on cute details for the tables, reminders about items I may have forgotten about (and I had). The list goes on and on. \r\rI still email her from time to time because I miss her. :) \r\rOur guests are still talking about how our wedding was the most beautiful experience they've been to in awhile. Every detail was attended to. We showed up and just had fun because we trusted the Kittle House to do what they do. And they over-delivered on everything. \r\rI've been singing their praises ever since, telling my engaged friends and anyone who will listen. These people are the best!!!\r

I can not say enough wonderful things about the staff, decor, food, and overall venue that is Crabtree's Kittle House. I got married there on July 19, 2014 and it was the most perfect day. The staff at the Kittle House went above and beyond to ensure that my day was everything I imagined. Our wedding was large, with 175 guests, and we received so many compliments on the space. Our guests loved the cocktail hour food and space. We were able to use the bar and side patio, and guests enjoyed having an indoor/ outdoor option. The Kittle House graciously provided us with an Inn room for the night before and the night of the wedding. I used the room to get read with my bridal party and it made an amazing back drop for pictures. The staff was friendly and welcoming for the entire weekend. They made every guest feel taken care of. We still are getting compliments about the food! My wedding coordinator, Tiffany, went above and beyond for me. I had many particular touches and vintage finds I wanted to incorporate into my special day. I spent a lot of time during my engagement creating little DIY decor items. Tiffany made sure everything was set up perfectly, and really made my vision come to life. She made me feel like I was in great hands and left me nothing to worry about so I could enjoy my day. I can not say enough nice things about this venue and it's staff. Thank you to the Kittle House for making my wedding dreams come true!

Kittle House was the perfect choice for our wedding. After a full day of looking at multiple venues Kittle House was the last one on the list. When we arrived we were greeted by Barbara and she let us walk around freely to see the place for ourselves. It was a breath of fresh air to not feel any pressure as we looked around. Once we did we could see why there was no sales pitch as the venue was absolutely gorgeous and did all the talking on its own. The fact that it was a restaurant first made me confident the food would be great as well. After this visit we had that feeling that this would be the place where we would get married and booked it immediately. \r\rThroughout the planning Barbara was very prompt with her responses and answered any and all questions I would have. She made me feel she had everything under control and it was a true pleasure working with her. They also made us feel very important and that our needs were of highest priority. It was impressive to see that kind of service to a place I can safely assume is booked solid throughout the year. Food tastings were a pleasure, again treated like VIPs. I appreciated the fact that they threw in some extra appetizers outside of our choices because it ultimately led us to choose them for our wedding. All the food is very tasty and is very high quality. \r\rDay of the wedding I'll just sum up with one word, perfect. Everyone just seemed on top of their game. My biggest concern was the threat of rain, and Gustavo made sure to show me the exact plan if that did in fact happen and what would be done. Gustavo and Barbara also made sure my guests and I were taken care of before the wedding started, even gave me a beer to help calm me down. The reception hall itself far exceeded my expectations, props to my planner and florist. We were blessed with the perfect weather for our ceremony and the Kittle House sure made it evident. Cocktail hour was setup directly next to the ceremony area, but it was far enough that it didn't seem cramped. The view of the golf course behind was a beautiful touch, my guests couldn't stop telling me how much they loved the view from their rooms. Service throughout the wedding was great, all our wishes were fulfilled. There was a small hitch with timing between surprise serenades and food, but Gustavo gave me zero problems when I requested the food be put on halt for a few minutes. All my guests loved the food, portabello mushroom with palenta was a clear winner for appetizer choice. The main courses went very well, everyone who got the trout enjoyed it and same went for those who chose steak. I must say one of the best parts was the ice cream bar outside, and I can't thank Barbara enough for having that suggestion and option. After the wedding was over there were guests who wanted to stick around and Leo made sure we were accommodated late into the night. All in all the staff, in my opinion, went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and taken care of. My wife and I can't wait to go back for our 1 year anniversary!\r\r \r\r

My husband and I just got married on July 5th and Kimberly was there every step of the way to ensure our day was PERFECT! Kimberly and I exchanged multiple correspondence in the months leading up to the wedding and she was a tremendous help! \r\rWe had an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour in the lovely garden and then a beautiful night in the atrium room, but still allowed guests to enjoy the beautiful night outside. The whole night was absolutely amazing, from the impeccable service and outstanding menu and food!! Your guests will not be disappointed!! We received many messages saying, \"that was the best wedding we have ever been to.\" \r\rWe highly recommend having your wedding at Crabtree's Kittle House!!

We had our wedding here last weekend and I cannot imagine a more perfect place to have held it. The food was incredible, the venue was beautiful and the staff was amazing. They were so accommodating and helpful all through the process. Kimberly Ann, the events coordinator, made helpful suggestions and gave so much attention to detail. And Gus, our Maitre'd, made sure that everything went exactly according to plan! When we went for our tasting, to select the final menu, it was both romantic and delicious...and the food was just as good at the reception! The wines they selected were a perfect accompaniment. If you're getting married in Westchester County, NY, this is the place to go! I will definitely use them again, next time I have a party to cater!

Planning a wedding is supposed to be stressful right? However working with Kimberly and Gustavo made planning my wedding a complete breeze!. They were available whenever I needed them, giving me suggestions and just making the whole process simple and fun. Kimberly was always available to answer any question even if I had already asked it before!\rWhen the day finally came everything went smoothly, they were present without being intrusive. On our special day we were able to enjoy our time with our family and friends and not have to worry about anything because Kimberly and Gustavo had already taken care of it. \rThe food was fantastic all our guests enjoyed everything from the cocktail hour to dessert.\rWe had an outdoor wedding in October. The setting was beautiful.\rBoth my husband and I highly recommend this venue for any and every special occasion!

Such a magical experience having our wedding at Crabtree's Kittle House. Everything was so wonderful. The food was delicious, the service was wonderful, and the assistance you receive..omg! Kimberly & Gustavo were absolutely amazing. Responding to emails all year and the day of, Gustavo was so spot on. He was constantly there to help with anything I needed, and made the whole thing so seamless.\rI can't wait to go back for our anniversary! The Inn is also beautiful! Our room to get ready in (2J) was magnificent! Huge and perfect for all of us to get ready in. We got married October 25 and the foliage in that area was spectacular. They really keep the grounds beautiful.

Crabtree's Kittle House is a true gem! We worked primarily with Kimberly Ann in planning the wedding and reception for our daughter's wedding in Chappaqua, N.Y. She is outstanding in her role, extremely knowledgeable, yet also flexible, calming and reassuring in listening and making suggestions to make everything perfect for the wedding day! The setting is spectacular, the entire staff provides excellent service, and the cuisine, from the hors d'oeuvres to dinner through dessert, was fabulous! We couldn't have been happier with our experience with the Kittle House!\r

The service at the Kittle House is wonderful! From the first time we went to see the venue, the staff are incredibly attentive. We worked with Kim who was always responsive to our emails and always a pleasure to meet with. She helped us think through the details, the timing, etc. The Kittle House has a reputation for great food, and every time we've eaten there we've been thoroughly impressed. I would say though that on our actual wedding day, the food fell a little bit short. The pasta dish that they served wasn't the one that we had originally picked, and the salmon was a bit over cooked and under-sauced. But besides these small details, the venue was beautiful and perfect for the wedding we wanted, and the service was really great!

We searched countless venues in the area and while they were all beautiful, Crabtree's Kittle House was the perfect fit for us. The entire staff went above and beyond to help us coordinate our day and execute a memorable and exquisite day. \r\rI can't thank the Sales team for their creative suggestions and the chef's willingness to customize our menu to fit our personalities. Every interaction from our initial meeting, tasting, menu selection & actual wedding day exceeded our expectations and I would 1000% recommend the beautiful venue and professional staff to everyone and anyone for their special day.
