Resting on the breathtaking Gull Lake, Cragun’s Resort & Legacy Courses offers an array of family-friendly recreational activities, from golf courses to cruises to kayaking. Soon-to-be-weds can now use its expansive grounds to host their nuptial events, from their wedding shower to their day-after brunch. Their multiple ballrooms can accommodate events of various sizes, from elopements to extravagant receptions with up to 450 guests. The largest space, the Lakeside Dining Room, will give your guests breathtaking views of Steamboat Bay as they dine and dance. Outdoor ceremonies can take place on the lush fields of the North Beach, where your guests can watch you exchange your vows by the shore. Nestled on the Legacy golf course is the elegant Legacy Pavilion, with delicate chandeliers and drapery hanging in the main room. Outside is a spacious, open-air patio, that makes an ideal place for cocktail hours. Couples that prefer a more intimate setting can use the breathtaking Audubon Room. Its floor-to-ceiling windows offer picturesque views of the golf course, while covering you and up to 50 guests in plenty of natural light. Guest rooms, suites, and private cabins are also available on the property, to ensure that you and your loved ones enjoy a relaxing weekend. The team’s onsite coordinator will be ready to assist you, and make sure your romantic celebrations go according to schedule. You will be able to work with the in-house culinary team, and customize your hors d’oeuvres, entrees, and dessert for your guests. Skilled bartenders will also be present during your special day to make sure that everyone’s beverage needs are cared for. We booked the Cragun’s Legacy Grill (upstairs party room) for our rehearsal dinner and were very happy with how everything turned out. The space was so open and bright, the food and service was great, and they were super easy to work with.

The best part about getting married at Cragun's was the wedding coordinator MaryBeth. Without her help, our day would not have been the same. She was easy to get in contact with, was more than accommodating, and was such a genuinely kind person. In the crazy stressful time of planning a wedding she was always there to check-in, even if it meant scheduling a call with us at 8:00pm to go over details. She was by far our greatest asset in the wedding planning. The food here was AMAZING. We did a version of the Italian Buffet and our guests are still raving about it to us months later! The grounds are perfect for nature inspired photos. The lake made for a gorgeous backdrop and the pine trees gave it that up north feel we wanted. We couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else! Thank you to Cragun's for making our day so special and holding a special place in our hearts!

Our Cragun's Resort wedding reception was perfect!! Marybeth was easy to work with and was always available to answer our numerous questions. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. There was a getting ready room that was very spacious that we utilized. The scenery was beautiful for photographs! The reception was held in the main dinning hall out-looking the lake (gorgeous!). We had a nice social hour out on the sun deck and made our entrance after a pontoon ride. The dinner was amazing and heard nothing but compliments from our guests. It was so fun and convenient for friends and family to stay on-site at the resort. I would definitely recommend a Cragun's Resort wedding!!

All-inclusive in Minnesota! We LOVED our Cragun's wedding - 9/16/17. We had our rehearsal dinner and welcome party at the resort in the Shore room - huge inside space (full kitchen, two tvs, couches, tables/chairs, etc) and a great outside patio area with tables and chairs, the beach is also right there so we had a bonfire lit later in the evening. Our ceremony and reception were held at Legacy Courses - Everything ran perfectly, I can not say enough great things about Carrie and her team, they were amazing. The food was outstanding, the space is large, open, and full of windows looking out on the golf course. There is a small getting ready area for the bridal party but I found it easier to go to a salon with my girls, could have had someone come to the hotel room too. The majority of our friends and family (and ourselves) stayed on the resort property - it's sprawling and some things weren't open all hours due to it being Sept/offseason timing. Plan enough in advance to have friends and family book cabins - the brand new ones would have been perfect for bridal party getting ready.

Our wedding was on 03/31/17 with the ceremony and reception at the Legacy Clubhouse. Carrie and her staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was absolutely perfect! I planned the wedding from out of state which was very challenging, but Carrie was so helpful and responded quickly to all my questions and concerns. Everything about the wedding was perfect, from the food to the sparkler sendoff at the end of the night. I will never hesitate to recommend Cragun's to anyone who is looking for a wedding venue!

Had our wedding in August 2016 at Cragun's Legacy which was amazing. Great venue, great food, and awesome staff! Carrie and team were the best. Also had several out-of-town guests (and ourselves) stay at the resort all weekend and we had so much fun...will be back every summer!

Our wedding was at Cragun's Legacy Golf Course on 6/18/16. Carrie and her team were absolutely amazing! I cannot imagine going through the day without them. Carrie was super helpful from the moment we met with her when we booked, throughout trying food and planning our day, and she even assisted with rehearsal the prior evening. We received many compliments on the food as well! You can tell Carrie loves what she does and she's great at it. I truly felt taken care of and she made the day run exactly as we hoped. We strongly recommend not only the Legacy, but Carrie as a wedding coordinator!!

We had a lovely rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception and gift opening brunch all in one location at the Cragun's Legacy Courses! Everything was beautiful and the food was amazing! I still have people coming up to me telling me the food was the best they have ever had at a wedding! Carrie was wonderful to work with!

We had our wedding at The Legacy which is the golf course at Cragun's. Carrie and her staff there are simply wonderful. This is a place where you truly can be a worry free bride because everything is taken care of! Wonderful staff. Beautiful views. Delicious food. Would do it all again!

We had a great time and so did our guests! This venue was much more affordable than the other resorts in the area. The resort staff took care of so many little details on our wedding day without me even knowing about it or asking them to and that relieved a ton of potential stress. I absolutely recommend this resort!

Cragun's provides a wedding planner/coordinator, which made the planning process so much easier! There were many options for activities throughout our weekend, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the Legacy staff helped set up and tear down. We had a fantastic time and remained sane throughout the whole process!
