We got married at Cross and Orange on 11/10/23, and we cannot speak highly enough about our experience with them throughout the planning process and wedding itself. They are so relaxed, which made the year leading up to the wedding relaxing for us as well - we really were not stressed at all! We had our ceremony and reception there, and the transition from ceremony setup to cocktail hour was so seamless that it was not even noticeable. Cocktail hour started immediately after the ceremony ended, and the food truly flowed endlessly; the food, by the way, was excellent. Lobster bisque shooters, sliders, jambayla and risotto, and more. Our guests raved about the food choices and quality. The drinks were also so, so, SO good - I don’t think anyone had to wait more than 60 seconds to get their drinks. Wine, beer, martinis, cocktails, you name it. Ashley, the event coordinator there, is just simply incredible. She is so chill, genuine, and friendly. She anticipated our every need before it even came up - she made sure we were eating, drinking, and having fun. She even bustled my dress for me!! And, she made sure that my MOH was hydrated and taken care of, as well. She handled the setup and breakdown of our decor, so we did not have to lift a finger before or after the wedding, which was sincerely appreciated. Literally, I would book here again just because she is there!My husband and I always told people “just meet us at the bar” after we got married, and Cross and Orange helped us do just that! We didn’t want a ballroom or conventional wedding setting, and the vibes there just suited us perfectly. We actually weren’t going to have a wedding at all, but when we heard about this place and the restaurant buy-out option…..well, a wedding happened after all. The food menu is built a la carte, so we were able to choose what we wanted (and only what we wanted) and effectively stick to our budget. We cannot recommend them enough. In fact, less than a month after our wedding, we’ve already been back there for dinner (which was also excellent). That’s an extra perk of having your wedding at Cross and Orange - you can always go back!

My husband and I held our wedding at Cross & Orange a few weeks ago and we cannot say enough good things about Kathy, Ashlee, and the entire staff. They were incredibly responsive throughout the entire planning process and helped to ensure that our day went smoothly. They were also extremely flexible and were able to move our outdoor ceremony inside due to inclement weather with just over 24 hours notice. They executed the ceremony flawlessly and seamlessly transitioned from ceremony to reception as if that had been the plan all along. During the reception, the food was delicious and plentiful and the bar was very efficient. They know how to execute a great wedding and I would recommend Cross & Orange to anyone who is looking for an alternative venue to the standard catering hall.

Ashley, Kathy and the entire staff at Cross & Orange were fantastic from day one through the last minute of the night. The staff at Cross & Orange helped us with every detail and ensured everyone in attendance had a great time. We never once had to ask for anything, they were always one step ahead of us and kept the entire night going nonstop, exactly as planned. As soon as we stepped foot into C&O, we felt like we had to have our wedding here. After our initial walk through with Ashley- we were completely sold! The team here at Cross & Orange is a dream. Our wedding was executed flawlessly, exceeded every single one of our expectations, and our guests kept telling us that it was the one of the best weddings that they have been to! Ashley and Kathy were so accommodating, patient, and understanding throughout the planning process, and the night of, were constantly checking up on us to make sure we were also having a good time. My husband and I always always talk about how we wish we could relive this day over and over. Everything, from the food, reception timeline, decor, the amazing staff was wonderful. We can't wait to come back here again soon to visit.

C&O was actually the only venue we looked at. It felt perfect as soon as we walked in. Every little detail was just as I imagined. After casting a wide net for venues in New York and New Jersey, we finally landed on Cross and Orange to host our wedding, and we could not be happier about it. Everything was just exactly the way we wanted it to be, all thanks to the incredible staff. They were absolute all-stars, and we cannot get over how pleasant, attentive, and thoughtful everyone was. Delicious food and a gorgeous setting. Our guests have commented that it was one of the best weddings they've ever been to - and obviously we'd agree!

We had our reception here on June 4th and it was such a wonderful experience! Kathy and Bob were so wonderful the whole year and a half leading up to it. The food, the staff, really everything was so great the day of. The staff was so sweet and so fun and really wanted to make sure us and our guests were taken care of. We had our reception here on June 4th and it was such a wonderful experience! Kathy and Bob were so wonderful the whole year and a half leading up to it. The food, the staff, really everything was so great the day of. The staff was so sweet and so fun and really wanted to make sure us and our guests were taken care of. The whole atmosphere was just fun, we rented the park next door and were lucky enough to have a beautiful day. All our guests had a great time! Thank you so much for making our day the best ever!

We got married at Cross and Orange on 9/10/21. We don't have enough good things to say about their team and our experience planning our wedding with them! The space is perfect for an indoor/outdoor wedding. The space is unique and beautiful and absolutely perfect for a wedding. We rented out the park next door and had our ceremony there. We had 150 guests and had more than enough space. We didn't do a traditional seated dinner. There were amazing passed appetizers and entrees and late-night food as well. The food was amazing and the service was fantastic! We heard from a few people that no one had to wait for drinks. Kathy, Bob, and the entire team were fantastic. We had the time of our lives and the day was perfect. Highly recommend!

We got married at Cross and Orange on 9/10/21. We don't have enough good things to say about their team and our experience planning our wedding with them! The space is perfect for an indoor/outdoor wedding. The space is unique and beautiful and absolutely perfect for a wedding. We rented out the park next door and had our ceremony there. We had 150 guests and had more than enough space. We didn't do a traditional seated dinner. There were amazing passed appetizers and entrees and late-night food as well. The food was amazing and the service was fantastic! We heard from a few people that no one had to wait for drinks. Kathy, Bob, and the entire team were fantastic. We had the time of our lives and the day was perfect. Highly recommend!

My husband and I had our wedding here this past May and it was everything we had hoped for and more! Planning & hosting a wedding during these past few years' events was stressful to say the least, but Kathy and Bob took all of the uncertainty out of it & helped us every step of the way. Their general positivity, welcoming attitudes & helpfulness with our questions was more than we could have imagined. We had just under 120 people in attendance and used both the inside and outdoor park areas. Our ceremony was in the outside park area and Bob & Kathy customized it to our specific needs. Even with these two areas + a DJ and dancefloor inside, we had so much room to spare. We had a cocktail style reception with more than enough amazing food being passed the entire time (Taylor Ham & Egg Sandwiches to end the night!!!!). If you are looking for a venue that is unique and just down for a great time, this is it! P.S. - My sister's shoe broke during the rehearsal and Kathy actually went out and got her a new pair. Can't get better than that!

We had a great experience with Cross and Orange! We opted for an outdoor ceremony and an indoor/outdoor floating cocktail reception. The space was perfect, the food was delicious, and everyone had a blast! Kathy was super accomodating with our requests and questions and really made it all happen. We highly recommend this venue for a non-traditional wedding!

We had a great experience with Cross and Orange! We opted for an outdoor ceremony and an indoor/outdoor floating cocktail reception. The space was perfect, the food was delicious, and everyone had a blast! Kathy was super accomodating with our requests and questions and really made it all happen. We can not say enough about our wedding at Cross & Orange. It was a second marriage for both of us, and we were looking for something a bit unique and intimate. Kathy and Bob worked with us for months to help us make our day perfect. We had a beautiful ceremony on site, followed by a brunch that received rave reviews from our guests. Months later we are still hearing about the chicken and waffles. Our wedding was a huge hit with everyone who attended. The staff was amazing and the decor enhanced our vision. Amazing experience!

My wife and I held our wedding here on September 13th, 2020. We initially planned for May, but the worldwide pandemic had other plans. Bob and Kathy could not have been more helpful through what should have been an incredibly stressful process. They are genuinely great people who just want the best for their customers and it shows from the moment you start working with them. This day came together so perfectly and we could not have been happier with the outcome. Our guests honestly still rave about the food and the atmosphere that C&O was able to create. The venue is sophisticated and elegant and we had input in every detail, ultimately trusting the pros to bring it all together. We have since been back several times to enjoy a great meal and a cocktail. Each time we are treated so well and walk away with even more great memories. I could not recommend them more highly for your next event.

The venue is sophisticated and elegant and we had input in every detail, ultimately trusting the pros to bring it all together. We have since been back several times to enjoy a great meal and a cocktail. Each time we are treated so well and walk away with even more great memories. I could not recommend them more highly for your next event.

I held my wedding here and it was beyond incredible! The owners Bob & Kathy provided phenomenal service along with their staff. The space is stunning, food is delicious, and service was beyond amazing. My guests honestly cannot stop talking about it. The venue is super affordable and provides so much! We were able to hold our ceremony and reception here. You can also rent the park that the restaurant sits on for amazing additional space. Anything our guests asked for was provided. Really amazing!

My husband and I got married at Cross and Orange last week. We had to postpone our wedding twice because of the pandemic, and as we got closer to our third wedding date, we had to find a new venue. Living in Asbury Park, we had frequently gone to C+O for happy hour and brunch. After getting more information on their wedding packages and talking with Kathy and Bob, the owners, we knew that this was the perfect place for our wedding.From the start, Kathy and Bob were so quick at communicating and were incredible to work with. They made the entire process so easy and stress free!The day of the wedding was everything we wanted. Everything went so smoothly and the staff was incredible. Everyone was so attentive and friendly.We had our ceremony inside which was beautiful! Afterwards, the staff members quickly turned the event space into a reception area. After we ate, we decided that we needed more room to dance so the staff adjusted tables to make this happen. Anything we needed they helped with.I wish we could relive this day everyday. I am so happy that we were able to have our wedding at Cross and Orange! Our friends and family couldn’t stop raving about the atmosphere of the venue, the food, and the entire day. I highly recommend C+O to anyone looking for a relaxed, fun wedding!

My husband and I had our ceremony and reception here on October 11 and it was absolutely magical! We rented the park next-door to give our guests more space during these times. There is a farmers market every Sunday that ends at 3 PM. So the rental company they use had a very tight turnaround for the park set up. Everyone on board exceeded our expectations! Bob and Kathy were very communicative and we met with them several times prior. We also dropped off our decor the week of. The venue alone is beautiful and barely needs any decor. Everybody loved the food passed around which Mike did such a wonderful job on. They also added an old cocktail from their previous menu for my guests (and myself) to enjoy. They made sure Jack and I were eating and drinking throughout the night. Our friends and family are still talking about our special night. The location is perfect—whether you want to take pictures at the venue, downtown or at the beach. It truly was the most perfect evening. 11/10 would recommend if you’re looking for a wedding venue!!! My wife and I could not have been happier with the experience we had, from start to finish, with Cross & Orange. Not only is it a beautiful, sophisticated, unique space both inside and out, but they were flexible, willing to assist in any way they could, and truly wanted to make sure our wedding day was as good as it could possibly be.Melanie and Carey were our go-to people from the moment we first emailed to inquire about having our wedding there, and from that moment on they were with us - it cannot be overstated how helpful it is to have the same dedicated people to go to and work with throughout this process. They were both super friendly, level-headed, accommodating, patient, responsive, proactive - everything you would want in someone who is effectively at the helm of your wedding day. They knew when to push us a bit out of our comfort zone based on their expertise, which is another super important trait. We had a somewhat non-traditional day and to put it simply, they shared our vision and were just DOWN. They, along with the rest of the staff, were instrumental in making our wedding day as special as it was for both us and all of our guests.The food and drink, from the initial tasting through to the dessert at the reception, was phenomenal - unique spins on classic, recognizable menu items, and it was a huge talking point for our guests. The menu was also super customizable, and we were able to play a big role in that which was great. I got married here in June 2019 and it was amazing! The staff was very accommodating and easy to work with from the beginning. The inside of the venue itself is beautiful with a long, beautiful bar and exposed brick walls. We chose to have passed hors d'oeuvres, raw bar, and smaller finger foods passed all night and people are still commenting on how delicious the food was, especially the raw bar.The location is right in the heart of Asbury and a perfect spot for a wedding. I highly recommend!

My husband and I got married at Cross and Orange on the 11th of October. The team at Cross & Orange was beyond helpful in our whole planning process. They went above and beyond and truly coordinated and helped to plan the whole day. Not only did they execute everything perfectly the day of, they let us in to set up first thing in the morning, and also helped with seating arrangements. Before the big day, they were available to answer any and all questions, met with us to discuss the menu and offered so many amazing suggestions. On the day of the wedding, the restaurant looked amazing and acted perfectly as a wedding venue. The tile floor in the front acted as a HUGE dance floor and so many people commented on how the venue was so much nicer than a wedding hall. We've had so many people tell us that it was the best wedding that they've ever been to- and one of the reasons being that the venue was so unique and beautiful. The food was amazing as were the drinks and service. We had a sit down family-style dinner for 100 and it came out PERFECTLY. There was so much room for people to mingle during cocktail hour and move around comfortably. The whole Cross and Orange team was so accommodating and we could not recommend them enough!!!

We had a beautiful outdoor wedding at Cross & Orange in July. Terrific food, and great service made for a most perfect evening. The cocktail hour was spectacular and the staff accommodated our every need throughout the evening. The planning leading up to the wedding was easy, the Cross & Orange staff coordinated with our florist, band, and baker. They arranged for the tents, tables, chairs, and linens that we selected, and the owners were there to greet us as we arrived. I cannot say enough good things about the facility, the food, the atmosphere, and the service! Truly a wonderful wonderful experience!

Cross + Orange is hands down my favorite place in Asbury Park. I had already loved the food and cocktails here, but now I can add my wedding to the list of reasons I love this place. First, the establishment itself is beautifully decorated in a classic but hip way. The huge french doors offer tons of natural light and open out onto Kennedy Park. The park has massive beautiful trees that shade the grassy area where we set up the dance floor and stage and the park looked magical with the strung lights overhead. The ability to incorporate the park into our ceremony and reception sealed the deal for us so that we could have an indoor/outdoor feel to the occasion. We had 150 guests and I would say that with the addition of the outdoor area, the venue felt spacious and I think the space could accommodate plenty more. I can’t say enough about how good the food is at Cross + Orange. The ingredients are fresh, the dishes are both simple and sophisticated, and the entire menu was crowd pleasing without feeling like “wedding food”. We were adamant that we wanted to have a cocktail style reception with plentiful passed hors d'oeuvres, plus a bountiful grazing table, and late night treats. Carey immediately got what we were going for and she and her team executed it perfectly. All of our guests commented on how delicious the food was and the late-night Taylor Ham breakfast sandwiches were a huge hit with the late night dance party. On top of that Cross + Orange’s cocktail program is top notch. We went with three summery signature cocktails adapted specially for our day, including a mocktail to make the mamas and non-drinkers feel included. We worked with Carey to have an outdoor bar near the dance floor, in addition to the generous indoor bar and there was never a backup to get a drink fix! As an aside, Cross + Orange was actually my husband and my third wedding location, after the first one cancelled on us, the second one was so poorly managed that we left them, and then we stumbled on the most perfect spot possible for our vision! After those miserable experiences, Carey was a dream to work with as the event coordinator. She was knowledgeable and responsive, flexible and helpful. Actually every member of the staff we interacted with, whether beforehand or during the wedding, were happy, helpful, and exceptionally well trained. I’m in total admiration of this team and so grateful they were part of our day.
