The Crowne Plaza checked off so many boxes for us. Close to the church. Convenient for out of town guests to stay right on premises. A unique and modern looking room for our reception that linked to an outside patio (the atrium). Prices that fit our budget. A nicely decorated room for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready in. A late night bar in the hotel to keep the party going. All of this on top of the fact that we really liked and trusted Catherine to help carry out our dream wedding made it a really easy decision. The Crowne plaza paired with some of our other favorite vendors led to the most amazing wedding night. The food was amazing and the night ran extremely smooth. Some of the things to keep in mind that did not decrease our rating but are good to know - the rotunda where we did our cocktail hour is a bit outdated, there isn't a great spot outdoors for photos and I would underestimate your count for breakfast. Our out of town and local guests were overall hugely impressed and many said it was the best wedding they have been to. We would love to relive it over and over again.Thank you!! Sarah + Patrick

We had our wedding in the Atrium at Crowne plaza on NYE and it was an absolutely perfect day. Lyric and Lelia are a dream team. They are knowledgeable, responsive, friendly and they just made the whole process a breeze. Wedding planning is generally a stressful experience but anything venue related was so simple and the group menu tasting was especially fun! Everything about our day was great. The Atrium space is breathtaking and hardly needs any decorations at all. I actually based our color palette off the room to keep it simple and elegant and that’s exactly what it was. Our cocktail hour was in Alfred’s Lounge and people are still talking about how nice it was! Plenty of seating, but still enough space to walk around and mingle. The reception was like a dream. Again, just stunning and the team did a phenomenal job on such a quick flip. My jaw dropped when they opened the door to introduce us. We actually did all our own flowers and I couldn’t believe how gorgeous everything looked. Honestly I hardly gave the girls any direction at all with the decorations but they killed it. Again, the space is gorgeous on its own so anything would be beautiful. The food was delicious and the servers and bar staff were so attentive. They continued to check on us throughout the night to make sure we were actually eating or to see if we needed anything to drink. They were also super flexible with last minute changes, which is very much appreciated!Part of the appeal to have the wedding there was everything you need is on site, including room block. Since it was a holiday, I think we filled close to 50 rooms. Kelly and Melissa were so receptive to all my requests, changes, questions and last minutes. The girls got ready in the Parlor suite and it was perfect. Plenty of space for 4 hair and makeup setups, all the girls, moms, aunts and a few others. The guys actually just used a regular executive room and it was plenty of space for all of them!Another part of the appeal was the cost. We were pleasantly surprised at how affordable it was in comparison to some of the other venues we looked at. We couldn’t say enough great things about this venue! Our wedding coordinator, Catherine Gray, started about halfway through our planning process. We booked this venue almost 2 years out from our wedding. Catherine came on and was so attentive, energetic, supportive, and responsive. She answered any and all questions my mother and I had, which were many, and was just so amazing to work with! We had our ceremony in the Rotunda room, our cocktail hour in the Bristol room, and our reception in the Atrium room; and all were so beautiful and amazing! My wedding was an absolute dream come true and our venue had such a big role in that. Majority of our guests stayed at the hotel as well, and we were able to hang in the Crossings restaurant after the reception and had a nice buffet breakfast the morning after the wedding. They offer a complimentary shuttle to and from TF Green airport. Couldn’t say enough great things about this venue and our coordinator. You should definitely book this note for your wedding, you won’t regret it!

We just had our wedding at the Crowne Plaza and it was as magical as can be. The entire planning process was so easy and great; the food was awesome as well. The only hiccups in the entire process was on the actual wedding day. The PVD suite is not a bridal suite; don't allow them to sell you this option. My timeline was not communicated appropriately to the staff; the reception doors were to remained closed, so we could greet our guests as they come in-- this did not happen. Then our cigar bar was supposed to be rolled out at 9pm. It was set up at 430pm, so the groom was not able to enjoy it because all the guests thought they were favors and it was just a free for all. Then end of night, at clean up, the wait staff just threw all of my decor in the boxes and things were a total mess. Vases were broken, stuff was missing, and it was all just thrown on the luggage cart. I spent a lot of money and time on my decor; so for it to just be thrown around was very insulting and completely unnecessary. Also, they do not have enough crew members, so they hired some temps. Two of the temporary workers stole some of my favors. This is so unprofessional and rude. Catherine was amazing to work with, but she had another wedding on the same day. None of this miscommunication would have happened if someone was assigned to my wedding specifically and the another to the other wedding. I wish I could give a better review as everything else was fine. But I am just so appalled by what happen with my timeline, favors being stolen, and decor pieces. I finally complained to Nicole, who is Director of Catering and she has resolved most of the issue. I just don't want this to happen to someone else! Make sure you have a paper trail for everything (I did and it was a life saver); pay attention to what the staff does as it's your day and it should be the way to you want it. If I had to do it over again at the venue, I would. I would just hope that these issues wouldn't happen again....as they are so minor. they shouldn't even be a thing--but here we are.

Catherine Gray and her staff did an excellent job making my wedding day beautiful, organized, and flawless. All of my guest have been raving over how they felt like they were at a celebrity wedding and how much fun they had. So many pictures were taken by so many different people and were sent to me. All areas of hotel were elegant and picture worthy backwards. Cathrine made so everything and everyone flowed on time. Catherine Gray and her staff did an excellent job making my wedding day beautiful, organized, and flawless. All of my guest have been raving over how they felt like they were at a celebrity wedding and how much fun they had. So many pictures were taken by so many different people and were sent to me. We had our wedding in the Atrium in August 2022 and it was everything we could have imagined! Catherine was absolutely amazing and made the planning process so smooth. On the day-of, I knew I didn't need to worry at all because I knew she had everything taken care of. Catherine was always so on top of things and calmed our nerves during planning and especially on the wedding day. Our whole celebration was at the hotel with the ceremony and reception in the Atrium, and cocktail hour in Alfred's Lounge. The entire package the venue provides also made it really easy to not have to deal with multiple vendors. The pricing was also straightforward (unlike some other venues) that made it easy to budget early on. The Atrium was already so beautiful so we didn't need to add too many decorations. It was convenient to have guests be able to fly into PVD and stay at the hotel. Our wedding at the Crowne Plaza was perfect for us and we couldn't have asked for a better venue and team!

Catherine was always 5 (or more) steps ahead of me all day long and took care of every need I had. I never had to worry about a thing, everything went smoothly the whole day. All of my decor, and I had A LOT, was placed perfectly and exactly how I had envisioned it. I booked with Crowne back in 2019 for my 2021 wedding and it was the best decision I made. The Atrium room was breathtaking and I couldn't imagine a more beautiful & intimate venue for my wedding. Words cannot express how thankful I am to Catherine and her team for making my day so very perfect. I will be forever grateful! 5 stars x a million.

My fiance and I booked the Crowne Plaza in June of 2019 for an April 2021 wedding. Little did we know what would happen in between then and now! We ended up going through some turnover with wedding coordinators during our time of being booked there but our final coordinator, Talia, is a rock star. Through all of the trials and tribulations Talia never failed at keeping us calm, excited, and informed. The Crowne recently went through renovations and it's so modern and beautiful inside, especially where our reception was, The Atrium! All of our guests were so impressed with how everything looked and how comfortable the Crowne Plaza made them feel since this was most people's first outings in the time of Covid. The wedding package that the Crowne offers is very helpful and makes your decisions easier. I would highly recommend booking the Crowne Plaza as your wedding reception venue! My fiance and I booked the Crowne Plaza in June of 2019 for an April 2021 wedding. Little did we know what would happen in between then and now! We ended up going through some turnover with wedding coordinators during our time of being booked there but our final coordinator, Talia, is a rock star. Through all of the trials and tribulations Talia never failed at keeping us calm, excited, and informed. Talia also never hesitated to answer any of our questions, which was extremely helpful for our wedding planning. The Atrium at the Crowne Plaza is exactly what my husband and I were looking for and the quality of care we received from Meghan and Talia exceeded our expectations! We knew from the beginning that we needed a space that could accommodate lots of out of town guests without them having to travel between ceremony/reception locations. After visiting a few venues we decided to book the Atrium at Crowne Plaza for both ceremony and reception, and had our cocktail hour in their cozy lounge, Alfred’s. It was important that we found a location with great food, ambiance, and wanted a package deal (we did not want to have to hire a caterer, alcohol, linens, etc. separately). The Crowne Plaza provided us all of this and MORE. Meghan was extremely helpful and so attentive throughout the whole wedding planning process. She was quick to respond to emails and even met with me a few times prior to the big day. Our food tasting was to die for, even our parents were blown away by the excellent quality of food from a hotel! Meghan and her assistant Talia did everything to make our dream day come true! Even with a bit of construction going on, Meghan had the construction sites cleaned up and hidden, and the day was perfect. I had very specific requests for placement of room/table/ceremony decorations and Meghan and Talia NAILED IT! Our guests raved over the food, service, and how beautiful the Atrium is. I booked a suite for my bridesmaids and I to get ready in the day of and it was just what we needed. The newly renovated rooms are luxurious and provided plenty of space for everyone to get ready. We snagged a great venue with a very reasonable package price and hotel room block pricing, and an awesome wedding coordinator! I highly recommend the Crowne Plaza, Megan, and her team to anyone looking for a beautiful location with the perfect package deal! We absolutely loved her and were devastated when she moved on to a different venue. Not going to lie, I was extremely nervous having to work with a second person... but wow - Meaghan far surpassed any kind of expectations. Talia, her Assistant, did the same. Peggy in catering saved the day in every way possible... any questions we had regarding the food choices, she was right there to answer them. What I loved is that they were SO attentive! The staff always got right back to your emails, and if they were out of the office, an \"out of office\" reply was sent so you would know they weren't ignoring you. The food was amazing, the way all of our decorations were set up was amazing, the drinks (including our two signature drinks) were amazing... I mean, I could go on and on. When our wedding day was over, both my husband and I felt like we were saying goodbye to family. It's almost been three months and I still miss talking with them weekly (or daily). I consider myself pretty picky and both my husband and I did not want people talking badly in any way about the food, so we made sure everything was top notch, but we honestly couldn't have even come close without the staff at Crowne. Guests are still raving about the food and the cleanliness of the hotel. I really cannot accurately express my love for this venue, as well as Meaghan, Talia, Peggy, and anyone else who had a hand in giving us the best day ever. We love you guys!!!!

After over a year of planning, my wedding was even better then I imagined! My Fiancé was deployed and I was planning our wedding the best I could alone. Throughout the year, Meghan, Talia, Crystal, Lynne, and other staff from the Crowne were always there when I had a question or a concern. Meghan always made me feel like I was her only Bride. She calmed me down when I was stressing and never made me feel pressured about anything. I told her and Talia our visions and they both made our vision a reality. When I thought I was being a crazy Bride, they both assured me I wasn’t. The Crowne even set up a private tasting for me and my mom because my Fiancé wasn’t home yet. The day of my wedding they were with me every step of the way. When I walked into our ceremony and then our reception, I was overcome by how perfect it was. The Atrium was gorgeous and everyone raved about the food! Our guest loved the late night buffet just as much as the formal dinner. When it was time for Meghan and Talia to leave for the night, I actually cried because I couldn’t thank them enough for everything they did. They even surprised us later that night. When my husband and I went back up to our room, it was set up so sweet and romantic. It was a really nice surprise to end our Wedding day.

Meghan responded quickly to all emails and phone calls anytime we had a question even about the most minor detail. She met with us when it worked for our schedule, ran over the “day-of” schedule with us to make sure her staff had it down to a tee, and constantly kept us informed as the days crept closer to make sure all our needs were met. Hands down the best wedding coordinator you will ever deal with! The Garden Pavilion Tent is extremely spacious, as we had about 200 guests and half was blocked off with a drape for 2 bartenders, a photo booth, card table/memory table, a cornhole set themed for our wedding, and cocktail tables for cocktail hour. Numerous people approached us to let us know how nice it looked inside and how great of a job the staff did with moving food in and out quickly, how great the food tasted (filet and shrimp was my favorite!), and how wonderful of a venue it was overall.We truly can’t say enough great things about Crowne Plaza and their staff and venue that made our day absolutely perfect.Thanks again!

Meghan even came to our rescue with some scissors for the grooms boutonniere! I found out the next day we had a mirror fall off the easel, thanks to our son and nephew running. Luckily only the frame broke but for a minute I was surprised we had no idea it happened and then it dawned on me... that is the point! There are not enough THANK YOU's in the world for Meghan, Talia and the entire Crowne Plaza staff.

Be very aware of how unreasonable Crowne Plaza is when you sign the contract!!! It is extremely unfortunate when a wedding has to be called off, and there are financial losses on top of the emotional devastation. All other vendors involved were very reasonable. Other vendors kept the deposits, as we expected, but Crowne Plaza is holding my daughter (the matron of honor) to the full contract cost for the bridal shower that is no longer happening. She politely explained that she understood her deposit would be kept, and asked if they would negotiate a fair amount owed beyond that. Crowne Plaza won't even return her calls at this moment and states she signed a contract and full payment is expected. Thank goodness my daughter did NOT sign a contract with this place for her wedding. Her wedding venue is retaining the deposit but no additional money is owed. Poor decision on the part of Crowne Plaza. I come from a large extended family and there will be no events at this venue going forward.

Be very aware of how unreasonable Crowne Plaza is when you sign the contract!!! It is extremely unfortunate when a wedding has to be called off, and there are financial losses on top of the emotional devastation. All other vendors involved were very reasonable. Other vendors kept the deposits, as we expected, but Crowne Plaza is holding my daughter (the matron of honor) to the full contract cost for the bridal shower that is no longer happening. She politely explained that she understood her deposit would be kept, and asked if they would negotiate a fair amount owed beyond that. Crowne Plaza won't even return her calls at this moment and states she signed a contract and full payment is expected. Thank goodness my daughter did NOT sign a contract with this place for her wedding. Her wedding venue is retaining the deposit but no additional money is owed. Poor decision on the part of Crowne Plaza. I come from a large extended family and there will be no events at this venue going forward.

We loved having our wedding at the Crowne Plaza! Meghan and the event staff took care of everything for us and it was absolutely perfect. The Atrium room was the perfect space for our wedding and our entire family had a great time - all said it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to. The food was delicious and the bartenders were all great . We cant thank the staff enough for all of their hard work! Wish we could have a party like that every weekend

We loved having our wedding at the Crowne Plaza! Meghan and the event staff took care of everything for us and it was absolutely perfect. The Atrium room was the perfect space for our wedding and our entire family had a great time - all said it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to. The food was delicious and the bartenders were all great . We cant thank the staff enough for all of their hard work! Wish we could have a party like that every weekend

My husband Ryan and I just got married at the Crowne Plaza in the Atrium room on 2.9.19!! It was absolutely gorgeous and we wouldn’t have picked a better place. Meghan & her assistant were amazing and made sure everything was perfect for our special day. They made me feel as ease and just get to enjoy the day without any worries! The waitresses were also really sweet and very attentive. If you book your venue here definitely check out the Atrium room & Alfreds lounge for cocktail hour.

What can I eve begin to say. Maria was absolutely amazing and met every single need that my husband and I had before our wedding. We were married on November 10th and it was a dream wedding. Maria had every single detail down to a science and knew the answer for questions that I hadn't even thought of. With everything going on I compleatly forgot to order a dinner for my toddler son called her two days before the wedding and she was able to do it with no problem!! The room was set beautifully and she made sure we had the dream wedding that we hoped for!!

Our wedding at the Crowne Plaza in Warwick was even more amazing than we could have imagined. We did A LOT of planning and coordinating with Maria prior to the wedding - Maria and Talia understood our vision completely and confidentiality took the reigns so that we could enjoy our weekend with no stress. We worked with Maria to customize our menu, floor plans and timelines - she truly catered to our every wish! We divided the atrium in two with a curtain, got married on one side and had cocktail hour in the other & adjacent Crossings Restaurant, which has its own charm. They flipped the ceremony space for dinner with such speed and efficiency - as a couple that also works in the industry we were so impressed. Their speed, thoroughness, attention to detail and crisis management was flawless - providing floor length linen in lieu of skirting was a wonderful surprise, and finding a beautiful drape for our Chuppah minuets before the ceremony when our florist forgot. FIVE STARS - would recommend every time! Not only is this venue beautiful, but the event team is phenomenal!!

They were quick to respond to my millions of questions and on the day of the wedding, everything went smoothly. They were very accommodating and made sure everything was the way we wanted it. We had both our ceremony and reception here and it was great. Our ceremony was in the Bristol Room and our reception was in the tent. My husband and I had the pleasure of having our reception at the Crowne Plaza. We were lucky enough to work with Maria and Meghan throughout our planning. They made sure no stone was left uncovered and the final product was amazing. Throughout the planning stages we were always kept up to date on the endless details that can seem overwhelming. However, we knew this when we made the choice to have our reception here, and instead chose another area to take pictures. This isn't a knock in any way on the level of service that we received, but good to know if you're planning on taking pictures at this location only.We've been recommending the Crowne Plaza to everyone we see. If we had to do this over again, we couldn't imagine doing it with anyone other than Maria and Meghan.

My husband had our ceremony and reception this last September in the atrium. The staff were all great and easy to work with. I did not have to communicate too much with the wedding coordinator and her assistant during most of my planning process but when I did have questions, they were easily accessible and able to help. My only complaint was for our menu tasting. My advice would be to skip the group food tasting they offer and do something private which you can plan through the staff. There were so many couples at the tasting, many items ran low and it was not organized well. Luckily, the food the day of the wedding was delicious. Our wedding day went flawlessly. So glad we chose this venue. Thank you!

Besides the room, the Crowne Plaza’s wedding staff was top notch. Maria and Meghan were wonderful! Maria is super responsive in any and all communication leading up to the wedding, which was something really important to me in my wedding planning process. The day of the wedding Maria is there to make sure everything is perfect and you have everything and anything you need. My husband and I had THE best day ever and wouldn’t have changed a thing!

We cannot say enough amazing things about the Crowne. It was the best decision we could've possibly made. Maria and Meghan were so incredibly professional, patient, responsive, and organized. Our wedding itself was in the Atrium, which is beautiful on its own, but the way they decorated it that day was so much better than we imagined. The food was delicious and the banquet staff was so polite. Our bartender was a rockstar too!! The Crowne itself was more than accomodating to all of our guests during booking and the rooms were great. The staff at Alfreds was extremely accomodating to the after party crowd. We cannot say enough about how wonderful our weekend was. All of our guests keep asking if we are having a one year anniversary party because they had such a great time. If you are considering other places, don't - choose here! They put so much care into the planning process as well as the day of. We cannot thank them enough!

Where do I even begin? The Crowne Plaza exceeded my expectations in every way possible! We held our reception in the Atrium, and our guests are STILL talking about the beautiful venue! Maria, my wedding coordinator, and Meghan, her assistant, were amazing to work with… they were extremely helpful, organized and always easy to contact throughout planning and were onsite the day-of to make sure everything was picture-perfect! Crystal was also great to work with for setting up a room-block and making sure we had accommodations for all our friends and family, even on a sold-out weekend! I cannot thank them enough for making our day so special!

The CP was an amazing venue. We got married in the Atrium in June 2018 and it was nothing short of amazing. I would do the same thing 10 times over. Maria, the wedding coordinator, was amazing! She was very professional and really made the experience easy and stress free. The venue is beautiful! I got married in the atrium, and my guests all were so impressed. High ceilings and an airy feeling made my venue the best around. Their all inclusive package is such a great thing because you don’t have to worry about finding food, cake, linens, etc. The price for it all was very reasonable. You even get a night stay included. I would absolutely recommend the Crowne Plaza for anyone looking to get married.

The food was delicious - people are still talking about it. I would highly recommend to anyone having an event, wedding or otherwise, to check out the Crowne Plaza. You won't be disappointed!

I cannot say enough about the Crowne Plaza! Maria was very easy to work with, (especially since she came on midway through our planning process). The food was delicious - people are still talking about it. I would highly recommend to anyone having an event, wedding or otherwise, to check out the Crowne Plaza. You won't be disappointed!

My husband and I had our reception here on July 1, 2017. Prior to booking the Crowne Plaza, we searched all over Rhode Island, and although I never pictured myself having my wedding here, we couldn't have been any happier. I am the most detail-oriented planner, however, I was put at ease immediately to realize Samantha was exactly the same way. When it came closer to the wedding, and I was stressed, Samanthat and Maria both reassured me that it would be perfect, and it ABSOLUTELY was. We chose the Crowne, because they gave you so much in your wedding package, that no other venue could beat. They even design whatever wedding cake you would like. Our reception was held in the tent, and it was everything I imagined and more. Not only was everyone raving about the food, but they couldn't stop complimenting about how beautiful the wedding was. Every single detail was taken care of, and I didn't have one worry or thing go wrong the entire evening. If I could do it all over again, I would 1000% choose the Crowne Plaza again. If you want your wedding to be everything you imagined, without breaking the bank, this is the place to go. Samantha and Maria were the absolute best, and I would recommend them planning any event.

Our wedding on Jan 6, 2018 was all that we could have hoped for and more! We chose the Crowne Plaza for it's convenient location, BEAUTIFUL Atrium Room, and extremely affordable wedding package especially compared to Newport prices. We loved that the wedding package could be customized right down to the amount of passed appetizers. This enabled us to have the wedding we wanted at a price we could afford. We were initially working with Samantha. She ended up moving on and we were transferred to Maria and Meghan. At first, I was a little nervous that my wedding coordinator was someone totally different about halfway through the planning process. In the end there was nothing to worry about! Maria and Meghan are super organized, efficient, reliable, and quick to respond to any and all questions. We had our cocktail hour in the Rotunda Room and our reception for 100 people in the Atrium. The food, drinks, bar & banquet service were all fantastic. As mentioned in other reviews, our gift box was given to a pre-assigned guest and they literally had her count out envelopes the night of and the next day so everything was accounted for. Guests appreciated the VERY reasonable price for rooms to stay the night and all said that their rooms were great. Our wedding date ended up being on one of the coldest days in New England history so outdoor pictures weren't an option. Maria worked with us to have all our family photos taken inside the Atrium room during setup and they came out great! She even unlocked the Alfred's Bar and Lounge for us to take our bride and groom photos in. Overall it was a fantastic experience working with the Crowne Plaza and we are so thankful to them for making our wedding day everything we could have asked for. ~Gianna & Eric

My husband and I got married here 9.30.17 and it surpassed all of our expectations. Peggy, our wedding coordinator, went above and beyond for not only us, but for our families as well. The room was GORGEOUS, the food was DELICIOUS, the staff was FRIENDLY, and the atmosphere was PLEASANT. Such an amazing way to celebrate our wedding. We also spent the night in the suite, which is also highly recommended, and it was an amazing room to get ready in. Spacious, beautiful, just everything a bride could want. We worked with Samantha Marold and her assistant Maria Magliano and without them, our wedding wouldn’t have been what it was. We gave them complete control of just about everything and they made our day completely stress free and so incredible! We had our reception in the Pavillion (tent) and it was breathtaking. I can’t thank Crowne Plaza, Samantha, and Maria enough for making our wedding more than we could have ever hoped for. I won't lie, I was VERY reluctant to have our wedding in a hotel. But with 65% of our guests traveling in Chicago and Israel, it just made sense, so I went to view the Atrium Room at my parents' request/pressure. My then-fiance and I were only in RI for a weekend and had already seen four venues and had two others scheduled for after our tour at the Crowne Plaza, but we ended up canceling the last two immediately! We walked in the Atrium room and both immediately agreed that this was \"the place\" we would be married. It is BEAUTIFUL, and does NOT have that \"hotel\" feel at all. We also received many compliments on how delicious the food was. My dad and husband are still trying to figure out how all the filet mignon came out identically and perfectly cooked. Our guests were all also pleased with their rooms and impressed that an \"airport\" hotel was so nice.Samantha Marold and her staff were also great to work with. I was planning from Chicago so it was a blessing to have Sam, Maria and Crystal on the ground in RI. They were all responsive, professional and really on the ball. My emails were replied to in a timely fashion, and they were flexible with accommodating me for the few in person meetings we had when I happened to be in RI. The day-of was executed flawlessly. I didn't have to worry or think about a thing- it was all done, and done well! I've never had to plan a wedding before, but can say with certainty that having my wedding at the Crowne Plaza made it a breeze!

I had personally put together overnight bags for our guest spending the night Friday and Saturday and none of the bags were being passed out. So during my rehearsal dinner I had gone down (several times) to get bags for guest that checked in. I explained every time I went down there to please hand them out to our guest checking in and was told we are so sorry and will pass them out going forward. Then I had gone down there with my mom to check in her room and while I was down there I had grabbed my father and sister’s bag whom checked in and never received a bag, again was apologized to. So my mom is done checking in and the lady says your all set, I said is she? The lady continues to say… yes she is all set have a good night, I said how about an overnight bag?? Again we just had this conversation seconds before checking my mom in. Same issue happened on my wedding night how frustrating to have to leave my own wedding reception to continue to ask them to hand out the bags, I ended up with 5 bags that didn’t go to guests. Additionally I had to go down several times as Half of our guests came to me complaining how they were over charged, not only were they charged double some triple and the holding fee causing a couple of guest to overdraw their account. We had agreed the appetizers would be sent to our table as we ate dinner during cocktail hour however a lady approached us and said how about we send these to your room, we said great that will be ok. Later the same lady went to us and said the obderves would be cold and gross they will send up fresh food (I assumed fresh obderves) no we ended up with cold chicken tenders and mozzarella sticks , what was the difference besides not getting what we paid for. Needless to say we never got any of the obderves we picked out. Also a couple of days before the wedding Jessica and I spoke about the meals for the guest that don’t show up, we knew we had to pay for them no matter what, she said they are owed to us and that they could put them at our head table or bring them to our room. We said have them sent to our room. We had 7 filet dinners and 3 children’s that didn’t show up but never saw these plates. (discussion is in email) we had an agreement that centerpieces not being given away, an would be taken off of the table and brought up to our room. Specifically we were told the staff is trained to watch for the center pieces and not let anyone walk out with them (this is in our contract). I had 19 centerpieces I personally made with my girls. I noticed a couple of guest discussing who was taking the centerpiece, this is when I noticed half of my centerpieces were already gone. I found the lady in charge and said excuse me but people are taking the centerpieces she said “OK” what do you want me to do about it? I said well it was in agreement no one was to walk out with our centerpieces in fact they should have been brought up to our room. She shrugged her shoulders and said oh I don’t know. I had to ask her to please get what was left and bring them to our room. She was very rude. There was little blocks of wood were popping out of the dance floor. The experience was supposed to be smooth and stress free, however I had many encounters that brought me to tears. This is not how a bride should have felt not only months before her wedding but right up until my wedding day.

Best decision we ever made was going with the Crowne Plaza! If you want your guests raving about the food and how clean and stunning everything was... Book with the Crowne Plaza! We used the Grand Ballroom. You can customize the wedding package to your liking. We originally booked because we loved the coordinator so much and she made us feel comfortable. We were informed later on she had left the company and we were given a new coordinator to work with! Boy did we get lucky! Samantha and her team are AMAZING! Her and Lauren did everything they could to make sure our day was perfect! Part of the package is getting an ice sculpure and tons of guests LOVED it! We had a 3 tier raw bar with our names carved into the top of it! (AWESOME). Samantha is FAST with responding! She will go out of her way to make sure your day runs smoothly and is special. We arrived a bit late and they pushed back cocktail hour and our bridal suite had all the food and a bar in it so we could relax. All the gifts were brought up to our room and all the envelopes were counted by a guest of your choosing and other staff members and locked up and the guest you chose has the key. Such an awesome policy to keep everything safe! All the guests stayed in the hotel which was convenient considering we had an open bar. All the rooms were clean and a good size! We stayed in the bridal inn. They put chocolate covered strawberries and champagne out for us for when we got back to our room! I can't speak enough about Samantha and her team! Having our reception at the Crowne Plaza was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding! Samantha was very easy to work with, (especially since she came on midway through our planning process) and handled all our questions and requests with ease and professionalism. Our reception was in the tent, or Garden Pavilion, and it looked exactly how I imagined it would, absolutely beautiful! The food was delicious (people are still talking about it), and the staff was great, making sure we and the guests had everything we needed. I would highly recommend to anyone having an event, wedding or otherwise, to check out the Crowne Plaza. You won't be disappointed!

Emails and phone calls went unanswered and things were taken back as well as us not being told there was a large opening in the tent. This hotel was very accommodating when it came to a room block for my wedding. We were able to block 20 rooms. The only issue I ran into was checkin time. Check in wasn't until 3:00 which interfered with ceremony time for my wedding, but the staff was able to help some guests out by getting early check ins if they called that morning. The hotel is very clean and a lovely place to stay.

We had our wedding at the Crowne Plaza October 11, 2014; we had the most incredible experience. When planning our wedding, we had a specific vision (like any couple would). Our vision was incredibly detail-oriented, and required a great deal of set-up by the staff. When we walked into our venue for the first time-we were absolutely blown away! The staff took our vision to the next level, executing every detail to perfection and giving us our dream day! From start to finish, the Crowne Plaza staff was incredible to work with-every department we had the pleasure of planning with was professional, friendly, and made each of our dreams a reality. We had MANY different and unorthodox ideas when it came to our planning and our wedding planner, Janet, never hesitated to make our ideas come to life. She was incredible to work and plan with! We had a large wedding and the staff kept everyone happy--food and drinks were constantly circulated and our candy and dessert tables were consistently replenished without ever noticing that it was done. Our wedding day had three parts, starting at 4:30 and ending at 2:00 AM. The staff were always friendly, high-energy, and continued to execute the day to perfection even as their long day progressed into the early morning hours. The food was absolutely fantastic! We got so many compliments on the food and its presentation. We decided to have a less formal dinner and featured six chef attended stations. The chefs were absolutely amazing and our guests loved the free-style dinner option and raved about the food! Additionally we featured a late night buffet and popcorn station which was both delicious and looked awesome! Our guests continue to talk about the wedding almost a year later and express what an amazing night it was-this would not have been possible without a venue that could handle such an event perfectly! I highly recommend this venue to any bride and groom! You will not be disappointed!

The staff are extremely easy to deal with and very accommodating. The venue is beautiful and the food was excellent. They made the night go smoothly and were continually checking with us to make sure we had everything we needed. The weather did not cooperate and without a backup location for photos we were left to take pictures within the hotel. There are many areas of the hotel that we had never even considered in previous visits that made beautiful backdrops. The grand piano made the best setting. I would recommend this venue to anyone !!

Overall I was very pleased with what the Crowne had to offer for our wedding reception. The event team was very helpful and would respond to any messages in a timely manner. They were also there the day of the event to ensure everything ran smoothly. The food was great! We had about 175 guests and I have found at other weddings the food can be so/so when there is a lot of people to serve at once. Everyone I have talked to said that their food was perfect and very tasty. For what we paid per head, we certainly got our $$$ worth!\rThe only complaint I had with this venue is on their sleeping rooms. There was another event going on at the same time as our wedding and the hotel accidently gave some of our reserved rooms away because they were overbooked. Throughout the whole planning process the sleeping rooms were a headache. We were misinformed when we were blocking the rooms which caused us to not be able to add more when we needed them. The sleeping room group did not seem to have their act together, at all.\rI would certainly recommend the Crowne to any bride/groom for their wedding reception, I would just advise them to pay extra attention to the sleeping rooms if they are going to need any.

Their packages require a larger minimum spending then most but you get tables, chairs, linens (centerpieces if you want them) cocktail hour open bar, tons of food, the cake, and their open bar pricing is really great and versatile. Do not work with the coordinator's assistants or you will stress but work with the coordinators and you will enjoy the process every step of the way. We did and so did our families.

The hotel is beautiful and recently renovated.. Guests seem impressed but we definitely had alot of kinks along the road. Many times the guest code\rGroup code wouldn't work when guests were online &. Their reservation wouldn't go into our and they would get the discounts.. All of which I was able to fix by calling but seeing I had to do this about a dozen times it started to get frustrating. The pool was closed the entire time we were there. We were suggested to rent the parlour suite for the girls to get ready in the day of the wedding and again we had issues with them about being able to check in earlier enough for us to actually get ready in time for the wedding... Again after some hard week and a weeks worth of calls it was straightened out. We (the bride & groom). Had reserved the king executive suite being insured it was the largest of the rooms they had to offer but we were not given that room.. Friends in the bridal party actually had larger nicer rooms then we did.. One single groomsmen even had a room with a canopy king sized bed and a chaser lounge and my mo's room was much larger them ours with a double sink bathro all of which our room lacked. We were also promised free breakfast every noting for guests under our block and our guest did get their passes but we did not get our until after 2 calls and 2 days. They arrived. For our last morning there. And I made 1 welcome otw bag for each guest to be given and some got them some got none and one room was given 3 bags. Just to many details that were. Messed up and it put alot more on my plate - they did do one nice thing and provided us with free champagne & chocolate covered strawberies in our room when we got back from the reception. Oh and I almost forgot to mention they let a family member put charges on our room for a round of drinks in the bar- this person mistakenly gave them our room number when ordering and we didn't discover til check out so we paid for it anyway but they should ask for yur room key our something.. They had her name and it certainly wasn't them name on the account they charged.

The hotel is beautiful and recently renovated.. Guests seem impressed but we definitely had alot of kinks along the road. Many times the guest code\rGroup code wouldn't work when guests were online &. Their reservation wouldn't go into our and they would get the discounts.. All of which I was able to fix by calling but seeing I had to do this about a dozen times it started to get frustrating. The pool was closed the entire time we were there. We were suggested to rent the parlour suite for the girls to get ready in the day of the wedding and again we had issues with them about being able to check in earlier enough for us to actually get ready in time for the wedding... Again after some hard week and a weeks worth of calls it was straightened out. We (the bride & groom). I cant say enough about the team at the Crowne Plaza-they were so helpful and flexible during the planning process and on the wedding day. The food was fantastic!

The Crowne Plaza was a great spot for OOT guests. Jessica was incredibly helpful (I had a ton of guestions). My only issue is that the charge $2 per hospitality bag (I had 30+ rooms reserved for the weekend). The shuttle service was great ($400). All of the guests were pleased with the hotel with the exception of the service at breakfast every morning.

The Crowne Plaza was a great spot for OOT guests. Jessica was incredibly helpful (I had a ton of guestions). My only issue is that the charge $2 per hospitality bag (I had 30+ rooms reserved for the weekend). The shuttle service was great ($400). All of the guests were pleased with the hotel with the exception of the service at breakfast every morning.

Don't be discouraged by the unaccessible, overly corporate website. The Crowne Plaza is the ideal place for a beautiful wedding you and your guests will rave about for years. We loved the rotunda room instantly and the wedding package pricing really cannot be beat. They give you all manner of things to choose from and extras we didn't even think about having (a free ice sculpture, why not?!). The food is beyond delicious, and most importantly, even though there were 14 other events at the Crowne the weekend of the wedding, including a wedding with 750 guests (!!!) we felt the staff was incredibly attentive and everything went smoothly and we couldn't have had a more memorable day with our family and friends!! I sent a girlfriend to see the Crowne and she booked right away. I wouldn't hesitate to reccommend the Crowne Plaza, go see it for yourself!
