A Timeless Historic Maine Wedding Estate
In honor of Small Business Saturday we are currently offering up to 20% for certain available spring and summer weekends in 2024 and offering our 2024 rate for all 2025 weekends. Please reach out to see if your desired weekend in 2024 or 2025 is available. This promotion will last through the end of December 2023. Cunningham Farm Events is a wedding venue located in New Gloucester, ME. This picturesque location is ideal for couples that wish to celebrate their big day surrounded by elegance and natural beauty. All around, you will be enchanted by verdant scenery and a sense of true tranquility. Here, you can design a celebration that you and your guests will treasure for a lifetime. Cunningham Farm stretches over 90 acres, which includes three event barns, a farmhouse, as well as plenty of scenic sites that are ideal for your photos. You can begin your day by preparing in the gorgeous Something Blue suite at the farmhouse, which is lined with windows that provide a wash of natural light. This space is ideal for you to be surrounded by your chosen entourage and cosmetic teams, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere to begin your festive day. Your ceremony can be held at a specially reserved site, overlooking a glittering pond. Here, you can seat up to 200 guests and exchange your vows under a handcrafted arbor. More intimate services can be arranged at pop-up locations, such as near the rock wall, under an apple tree, or any number of beautiful spots located on the grounds. You have plenty of options when it comes to your reception settings. The main event space is the Dairy Barn, a classic, New England barn erected circa 1820. Here, you can accommodate up to 200 guests for dining and dancing. Catering space, a bar, and beautifully remodeled guest restrooms are also available in this space. For smaller events, or to host an indoor ceremony or cocktail hour, the Hay Barn and Carriage Barn are available, each with their own distinct pastoral charm. Cunningham Farm offers a three day rental as its wedding package, giving you ample time to set up, enjoy, and wrap up your event. It also gives you plenty of opportunity to enjoy the beauty of this location to its fullest. Outside vendors are welcome, allowing you to fully customize your event.

Abby and Matt are wonderful and the space is just gorgeous. They are incredibly responsive, accommodating, they had great recommendations, and were overall fantastic to work with. We looked at lots of barn-type venues and this was by far our favorite.

We had an incredible experience with Matt and Abby and Cunningham Farm. They were responsive, generous, and went above and beyond for everything. The venue is beautiful at any time of year. The versatility of multiple barns made the day so special and gave us lots of options. The bridal suite is so well equipped- -our vendors said it was one of the best. And the covered catering area made it really easy on our catering staff. Our vendors were happy, our guests were happy, and we were thrilled. Cannot recommend Cunningham Farm enough.

We had an incredible experience with Matt and Abby and Cunningham Farm. They were responsive, generous, and went above and beyond for everything. The venue is beautiful at any time of year. The versatility of multiple barns made the day so special and gave us lots of options. The bridal suite is so well equipped- -our vendors said it was one of the best. And the covered catering area made it really easy on our catering staff. Our vendors were happy, our guests were happy, and we were thrilled. Cannot recommend Cunningham Farm enough.

We had our wedding at Cunningham Farm at the end of October. It was the perfect venue for us and Matt and Abby were incredibly communicative throughout the entire process. We looked at many barn venue options in Maine and Cunningham stood out for their facilities (three beautiful barns, bathrooms, indoor catering area), landscape, and responsiveness from the owners. The weather is always a toss up at the end of October but we were confident in our rain backup plan because Cunningham's three barns offer a variety of options. We 1000% recommend Cunningham Farm!

Most beautiful venue! We struck gold with the weather and are so thankful to the wedding gods for it. The grounds are still splendid without the sunshine.Matt and Abby are very responsive and communicative throughout the entire wedding planning process. I went into planning anticipating not going in the direction where we would need to bring every little thing into the venue but given how much we loved Cunningham Farms, it was worth it! Amassing an A+ vendor team was key but Matt and Abbie were the best hosts for our wedding day and making it the most spectacular day all around.

We had our wedding at Cunningham Farm on October 22nd and it was the most perfect setting you could ask for! From the foliage to the barns to the pond everything is stunning. Not only is it a naturally gorgeous venue but the people that run it (Matt and Abby) are so kind and are genuinely happy to be helping you celebrate your special day. We got so many compliments on how beautiful the venue is and I could not recommend it enough!

We had our wedding at Cunningham Farm on October 22nd and it was the most perfect setting you could ask for! From the foliage to the barns to the pond everything is stunning. Not only is it a naturally gorgeous venue but the people that run it (Matt and Abby) are so kind and are genuinely happy to be helping you celebrate your special day. We had our wedding at Cunningham in August 2022 and can't say enough good things about our experience. From our initial touring and booking experience with the previous owners to working with Matt an Abby leading up to and on the day, we are so glad we chose Cunningham. The setting is truly stunning and minimizes the need for extensive decor and florals. The space is flexible which was a comfort given the compound uncertainty of weather and a pandemic. We ended up having over 100 guests, but we were confident that the venue would've worked for any size. The bridal suite, bar and bathrooms were comfortable and air conditioned, which made for a great balance of rustic charm and creature comforts. Our wedding was on a hot August day, but with the breeze and extra fans that Matt and Abby brough onsite, it was super comfortable. Matt and Abby were also great about letting us come and go to work on florals, drop things off etc. Would recommend Cunningham to anyone looking for the ideal Maine wedding venue.

I had my wedding June 11, 2022 and could not have asked for a more amazing venue. It is DROP DEAD GORGEOUS and naturally beautiful. Absolutely stunning and unique. My guests can't stop talking about how special the wedding venue was and were constantly wowed by the authentic Maine forest surrounding. The new owners, Matt and Abby, were incredibly responsive, helpful, and flexible when we needed help. We had catered food for the bridal suite the morning of but they forgot to include silverware! Matt ran out personally and got us some. They made the wedding venue feel really personal for the day, not just another hotel ballroom. The barns offer unique ways to make your wedding truly yours. We used the smaller barn for the cocktail hour which was fun to have people milling about, then fit 150 people for a seated dinner reception and a big band and dance floor! Tons of space, tons of dancing, and beautiful brand new bathrooms and bar off to the side. It really is a special location to have a wedding and your guests will truly be wowed.

They were so easy to work with and we are so appreciative that they hosted us. In looking for a venue, we deliberately chose a venue that had an answer to all of our potential fears and concerns. We were at ease as soon as we spoke with Matt and Abby about our wedding plans. Bonus -- Cunningham Farm has a built-in rain plan with the multiple barns, and that was a huge plus for us. Highly highly recommend!!

Having our wedding celebration at Cunningham Farms was the best decision we made for our wedding. First off, the property itself is well-maintained and taken care of by the owners Matt & Abby. They are both also extremely dedicated to making sure that your wedding is exactly how you envisioned it. They are communicative, reliable, and flexible with all plans. It was the perfect venue to represent the mix of our Maine and Indian cultural backgrounds due to the landscape and flexibility of making it our own for the day. Definitely recommend hosting your celebration here!

We couldn't be happier with our experience at Cunningham Farm! We fell in love with this venue via facetime as we had covid during our scheduled site visit! We went in person as soon as we were out of quarantine and knew it was the perfect spot. We worked with Abbi and Tanner at the beginning and then ownership changed and we worked with Abby and Matt. Both were so great to work with and responded so quickly to any questions we had. Matt was available all throughout the weekend incase we had any questions or needed help with anything. Our biggest concern when choosing a venue was that we had a space for an indoor ceremony incase of rain. Fortunately, we only had rain at the rehearsal and were able to have the ceremony outside! We loved that we had the bridal suite for the girls and the Carriage Barn for the groomsmen to get ready. It's the perfect venue for a Maine Wedding!!

We had the best experience at Cunningham Farm. The property is absolutely stunning, from the barns to the ceremony area to the pond and tree farm. The owners, Abbi and Tanner, were so helpful and accommodating from the moment we expressed interest in seeing the venue to wedding weekend. They provided guidance in hiring the rest of our vendor team, answered our (many) questions, helped us and our vendors with any issues while we were onsite, and overall made the experience that much more magical. We could not imagine our wedding anywhere else.

Abbi & Tanner are an all-star team to work with! Abbi was so friendly and communicative whenever I sent out an email - she would respond almost immediately. At one point I had reached out because I had seen an Instagram post on Cunningham Farm's page of someones wedding day decor with some bistro lights that I really loved - Abbi then reached out to the bride to ask where the lights were from and sent me the exact specifications - they were the perfect addition to our wedding day! It was so nice that she went above and beyond to help me with that information.Tanner is so cool and he was great whenever we went to our site visits. He had awesome suggestions especially in terms of how other couples had done things in the past, which made some decisions a lot easier to make since he could paint a nice picture of how certain moments would flow.It rained on our wedding day but it certainly did not take away of the beauty of Cunningham Farm, in fact I think it made it that much more memorable. We utilized the Hay Barn for our Ceremony and the Dairy Barn for our reception - they were both absolutely perfect! This is a gorgeous venue and you'll have an incredible team to work with!

Cunningham Farm was the ideal setting for our wedding in early October. The property is stunning and beautifully maintained, as is each of the three barns onsite. It was really special to be able to create distinct spaces for cocktails and dinner/dancing and our guests appreciated having the variety throughout the evening. Fortunately we ended up with a perfect Maine fall day and were able to have our ceremony outside using Cunningham's arbor and bench seating, but knowing that we could use one of the barns for the ceremony if the weather didn't cooperate was a huge stress-reliever during the wedding planning process. We loved doing our first look in the woods next door, which were beautiful and private, and the getting-ready suite is absolutely gorgeous - the perfect place for day-of preparations.Abbi and Tanner were lovely to work with and were very generous with their time throughout the planning process. We really appreciated how responsive they were and their guidance on how to put things together. We highly recommend Cunningham Farm to anyone who's looking for a beautiful barn wedding in Maine!

Our families cannot even begin to express how great our experience with Cunningham Farm was for our June wedding. For starters, the venue is absolutely stunning. If you have not visited Cunningham Farm, even just driving by will tell you everything you need to know. An adorable farmhouse with three stunning barns (all three available for you to use during your event) on vast acres of perfectly manicured lawns and trees. Out behind the property is a pond and a tree farm that make for amazing photo opportunities (check their instagram for proof). Make this venue your first tour (like I did) and no other venue will come close. In addition, both of the venue owners are extremely nice and personable. Abbi was always easy to communicate with throughout the entire process and her husband, Tanner, frequently checked in during the wedding weekend to help with set-up, moving tables, etc.Our wedding day was completely perfect thanks to the help of Abbi and Tanner and the natural beauty of the venue was the talk of the night among our guests. This venue has my highest recommendation and is worth the visit . I promise - you will not be disappointed!

Abbi was always easy to communicate with throughout the entire process and her husband, Tanner, frequently checked in during the wedding weekend to help with set-up, moving tables, etc.Our wedding day was completely perfect thanks to the help of Abbi and Tanner and the natural beauty of the venue was the talk of the night among our guests. This venue has my highest recommendation and is worth the visit . I promise - you will not be disappointed!

The second we saw Cunningham Farm, there was no question where our wedding day would be spent. Abbi and Tanner did such an amazing job restoring all three barns, the bridal suite and the landscape of their property. It is so incredibly charming, personal and quaint. The possibilities are endless on this property and they are able to accommodate so many different events. The view is gorgeous from anywhere on the property (including inside the barns) and beautiful photo opportunities are everywhere! Abbi and Tanner were a dream to work with and always available to lend a hand, answer a question or even give advice. Choosing the venue is such a big part of the wedding planning process, and you will not be disappointed if you choose Cunningham Farm! We can’t say enough great things!

Matt & Abby (Owner) Hi! We are Matt and Abby and we both grew up in The Great State of Maine and met as students at Bates College. After 12 years living in the “other” Portland (OR) we made our way back to Maine to be closer to family, dear friends and live out our dream of helping couples like you create their perfect wedding.
