We got married here October 2023 and couldn't have been happier with our choice of venue. The Currahee Club is a hidden gem in the North Georgia Mountains that overlooks the beautiful Lake Hartwell. The venue is absolutely stunning with countless picturesque views. We had over 50 guests staying on property. The housing options and amenities our guests had access to helped make their weekend feel like a mini vacation for all. Our guests both local and out of towners continue to tell us how perfect the weekend was and how it was their most favorite wedding they have ever been to. Liz made sure every detail was perfect leading up to our wedding day and on our wedding day. Through the entire process Liz gave us guidance and support, we always felt like we were in good hands and everything would fall into place. And it did! Currahee recommended several local vendors that all played a role in making our special day perfect. We ended up selecting the Italian dinner and it was absolutely to die for. We couldn't be more grateful to Liz and Currahee's staff members for helping our day run so smoothly. Our wedding day was the one of our dreams and we wouldn't have changed anything about it if we had to do it over! The Currahee Club will always hold a special place in our hearts!

Currahee Club created the most beautiful day of my life! The wedding planning was easy with the help of Beth. She always answered the phone, emails, and went above and beyond to plan my special day! Beth listened and added opinions and shared local vendor information. Because of that, my wedding was absolutely beautiful! My guests stayed on the property in the beautiful condos and rooms below the clubhouse. Everyone enjoyed the weekend get away. The food was delicious! My guests continue to tell me it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding! The staff were all kind and friendly to make sure everyone had what they needed and was having a good time. Currahee's views speak for themselves and the building is beautiful as well, but nothing completes a venue like the staff! If you want to be treated like royalty by a professional staff that has pride in what they do, choose Currahee. The club already had a special place in our hearts and that's why we chose to get married there but now the memories of our wedding day surpass our prior thoughts of the club because the people just know what they are doing and make sure everything is top notch. I am forever grateful that I got married at Currahee Club.

Liz Johnston (Events Director) Even after 7 years of planning over 500 events and weddings, I still get excited talking to a newly engaged couple about their special day. I am a trained wedding professional with AACWP and have executed over 50 weddings, ranging in size from 50 to 250 guests. Event planning is my specialty! Allow me to unload some stress by booking onsite lodging for your guests, transportation to/from airports, and arranging all of the meals for your wedding weekend. From your engagement shower to the groomsmen getaway to the morning after brunch with the bride and groom, I'll be here every step of the way!
