We've changed our name (and nothing else!) Previously Le Chambord at Curry Estate, we're now just Curry Estate. Curry Estate is one of the most elegant and romantic wedding venues in the Hudson Valley. We know you have a unique vision for your wedding and this ten-acre beautifully treed and gardened property, with 1863 historic Georgian Colonial estate, ballroom, covered outdoor pavilion, four-star French restaurant, conference center and overnight accommodations is the perfect setting to make that dream come true. Facilities and Capacity The elegant Curry Estate ballroom accommodates up to 200 seated guests with ample room for mingling and dancing the night away. The ballroom features crystal chandeliers, twenty-three windows, magnificent antique bar and dance floor. Smaller more intimate weddings can be hosted in the restaurant's private rooms. The outdoor covered pavilion is the perfect location for an outdoor ceremony or wedding. These beautiful spaces are all available to book for your wedding ceremony and reception, rehearsal dinner, or post-wedding parties, to create your beautiful weekend celebration. Services Offered Curry Estate offers wedding event packages to accommodate a variety of wedding couples with different style and theme preferences. Utilizing these wedding packages is also a great way to stay within your event budget. All wedding event packages include guest accommodations, access to a bridal suite, setup and cleanup, event rentals, in-house catering, lighting and sound, and event coordinating services. Working with \"the sisters\" at the Curry Estate was such a great experience! Cathleen and Dawn, in particular, were my \"go to\" sisters in planning for our dream wedding. They were genuine people, open to our ideas and flexible with our wants and needs. This is exactly the team you want for your wedding day. They will make your vision come to life, never saying no to a request. Sometimes wedding venues lack on food quality, but not the Curry Estate. Their food was excellent, from cocktail hour through dinner, the food was exceptional. In fact, many of our guests raved about it afterwards and were impressed for how good the food. Go for a tasting or to their restaurant to see for yourself. Our bridal party also stayed on site, and the accommodations were really special and unique. From start to finish, we could not have asked for a more perfect place. Looking back, I wouldn't have changed a thing. Thank you so much!

Our wedding weekend at Curry Estate from December 1-3, 2023, was absolutely perfect.From the early research phases, the value offered in Curry Estate's wedding packages caught our attention. Upon our visit, the array of amenities, including the inn, conference center, pavilion, ballroom, tavern, and the charming grounds, surpassed our expectations. It didn't take long for us to realize that this venue had the potential to be the perfect location for us. The decision was solidified after meeting with Cathleen and Dawn, who exuded warmth and professionalism.Working with the Curry Sisters leading up to the big day was a pleasure. Their commitment to making our experience exceptional set the tone for what was to come. As our wedding weekend unfolded, every staff member at Curry Estate excelled in their roles, ensuring a seamless celebration. Renting the inn from Friday to Sunday allowed us to fully enjoy a weekend celebrating our love with our dearest friends and family. We took advantage of every minute of the weekend and every corner of the venue.We were able to drop off decorations and supplies earlier in the week, resulting in a stress-free setup. Come Sunday, all of our wedding items, after party leftovers, etc were neatly packed up for us. All we had to do was load up cars and head off to our honeymoon!In addition to the venue itself, it's the people at Curry Estate who truly make it exceptional. The Curry Sisters and the entire staff went above and beyond to ensure our wedding weekend was nothing short of perfect. The space is beautiful, the people are great at their jobs and wonderful to work with, and I cannot have imagined a more perfect venue. 100/10 - recommend wholeheartedly.

Everyone from Curry Estate was a pleasure to work with. They were generally responsive and forthcoming with information that we needed in the lead-up to the event, and they all went above and beyond for us on the day of our wedding. For example, I had staff checking in with me every few hours to see if I needed anything. When they noticed I hadn’t eaten much of the prepared food they served us for lunch, they went out of their way to go get me pizza to make sure I ate!! We had an amazing night, and so much of that was thanks to the care and attention of everyone at the venue. We also had rain on the day of our wedding, and the venue was able to pivot to a rainproof backup plan without a hitch. We and all of our guests stayed dry throughout the evening! If I were to go back and do it all again, I would definitely stick with this venue!

My husband and I got married here in September. From start to finish they made the process effortless. We didn't have to think or lift a finger. We had so much fun on the rehearsal dinner night and the wedding day/night. The staff and sisters were absolutely amazing. I wish we were getting married again!! We loved that some of the bartenders filled out some Jenga blocks for our guest book and added to all the fun! We just had a blast. All of our guests were RAVING about the food and the atmosphere. They loved that it felt like we had the rule of the land! And they said it was the most beautiful place to get married!

The six sisters of Curry Estate helped make our wedding day absolutely magical! We highly recommend this venue for the thought, care, talent, and coordination that they put into our wedding day. They worked with our special requests, made sure we had food at almost all times on the wedding day, and made our families and friends feel so welcomed staying at the hotel on property. The pricing for our wedding was incredibly reasonable for the area, and we feel like we absolutely got our money's-worth, and more.

I had my wedding here in May 2023 and there are not enough words I can say about this venue, the sisters or the staff. Every time I had a question in the planning process Cathleen was quick to answer and provide guidance. Every detail of the day was perfectly placed. I met with Dawn and all of my decorations a couple days before, I quite literally labeled everything and she was amazing. No step was skipped. Prish checked in throughout the morning getting ready and the morning after when we were clearing out. There were several staff members checking on us from the time we arrived to the minute we left. We never felt rushed or in need of anything. We never went without, there was always someone attentive at any point of the day when we needed them. I was so worried about the weather. IT POURED for our ceremony. (My biggest wedding day fear!) But you would have never known it. Before I felt a single drop of rain the staff was outside tenting the pathway leading in to our ceremony. They were meeting our guests in the rainy parking lot with umbrellas so that everyone stayed dry coming in. They flipped the ceremony in moments to cocktail hour, as it was originally supposed to be outside. They escorted my elderly grandparents several times back and forth to the inn on the golf cart. It was truly the most wonderful experience and one I think any bride wants to have on her wedding day. They went above and beyond and there is not enough thanks or kudos to give them to really justify the way they took care of all of us! I'm so grateful to all of you, truly, thank you! The Lalonde's

There is not enough space here to share the excellence of The Curry Estate. We were looking for a place to have a wedding party after getting married a few months ago. From the very beginning, Cathleen understood our vision and executed what we wanted with perfection! Even though we chose to have a more casual vibe wedding, it should be known that no matter what you're looking for, The Curry Estate is equipped to handle it all! We believe what sets The Curry Estate apart from many other venues, is the family vibe. It's not a cookie cutter venue and the space, the food and the staff commitment deliver a product that many large scale places can't provide. We felt special and at the same time just part of the family! The food was amazing, the customer service was superb, the rooms on site are perfect and we literally have no complaints about anything. The sisters are committed to providing a wonderful experience for guests and they deliver exactly that. With a keen eye for details (thank you Dawn for the wonderful display of decorations) paired with a dedication to make our event so special, all of our guests are still talking about the \"best wedding ever\" that was hosted at The Curry Estate. In addition to our wedding party, we opted for an after party and a morning after breakfast. All which were delivered with the same precision and perfection as our party. Every guest was taken care of during each segment of our gathering. We're already committed to dining there and partaking in the events hosted by the sisters. I had my wedding here in May (2023) and let me tell you, Cathleen is the most unorganized person I have dealt with in any capacity. From having to chase her down for answers to simple questions to not knowing our final guest count (information I already gave her) at our final meeting. I had to ask her numerous times for a seating chart layout for the space we were using, which she said she would provide, until my wife finally made one herself a few days before our wedding. She told us that they were coming out with a new menu and we would be able to make our selections from that, every time I asked her about it it was still “not ready” until she finally just gave us an old one days before our selections were due. We kept reaching out trying to iron out details and were continuously brushed off, which resulted in Cathleen disturbing my wife on the day of the wedding and asking questions on how things should be set up while she was trying to get her hair and makeup done.Lastly, all of our guests were charged different amounts to stay at the inn, in breach of our contract. My credit card was also charged for a room that was vacant that night. I noticed this on my honeymoon, two days later, and called immediately, but these issues were not resolved until over two months after the day of our event, and I had to call several times to get them to rectify it. When I spoke with Cathleen about it she passed the blame on to someone else and said that they “did a bad job”. I would not recommend this venue due to the poor communication, lack of organization, and sheer stress that was caused. My wife and I were so excited to choose this venue after reading these other reviews, but it is clear from our experience that things are no longer being run the same way.

From the moment we walked through the venue, my husband and I knew this is where we wanted to get married, and I have absolutely zero regrets. If you were looking for an elegant, cozy, beautiful wedding, this is exactly where you need to be. from beginning to end, the curry sisters, and their staff were beyond amazing. Wedding stress is definitely a real thing and they made the day and weeks leading up to the wedding, seamless, and stress-free (and we didn’t have a planner!!). Every little detail we wanted and imagined, they brought to life. the grounds of the venue are beautiful with different backdrops for breathtaking photos. AND THE FOODDDDDD was delicious !!! we had our after party in the speakeasy at the venue, named after the Curry sister’s, mom, Beverly. I can go on and on about how wonderful this venue and their team are. 10 out of 10 hands-down.

From the rehearsal dinner, to the ceremony, to the reception, Antonio and The Curry sisters and the entire staff helped make our wedding weekend absolutely perfect. They were super attentive the whole entire time and we couldn’t be happier. Antonio was with us every step of the way and made every transition seamless. He catered to all our needs, whether it was finding some of the bridal party, or finding us some drinks or food throughout the night while we caught up with family and friends. We highly recommend having your wedding here!

I couldn't have asked for a better venue and management from Curry Estate. The sisters that own this venue truly made my husband and I feel like a part of their family. There was constant communication from booking to wedding day, with a year and a half in between. The grounds are beautiful and everyone at Curry Estate acted with intention to make our day the most amazing day that it was. We would recommend this venue to anyone a million times over. The planning, food, staff and day of coordination couldn't have been better. We had the BEST experience with Le Chambord at Curry Estate for our wedding this past September. Every single person we met at the venue could not have been nicer or more personable, and they really made the planning process so easy. We could not be happier with our choice! The on site ceremony was amazing, the food was excellent, and the ballroom for our reception was stunning. 1000/10!!!!! We cannot wait to go back to the restaurant to celebrate our anniversary and see the Curry sisters again!

We had our wedding here on Aug 20th and everything was amazing. Like i can't think of a single thing I would change about it. This venue was such a great find and from the minute i viewed in last fall i fell in love with it. The sisters are above and beyond and the food is soooo good. Honestly I cannot say enough good things. Everyone is still telling us how much they loved it. Several people said it was the best wedding they have been too and the Curry girls were a huge part of that! Thank you so so much!

We had our wedding here on Aug 20th and everything was amazing. Like i can't think of a single thing I would change about it. This venue was such a great find and from the minute i viewed in last fall i fell in love with it. The sisters are above and beyond and the food is soooo good. Our first venue we selected back out on us due to concerns with the pandemic. We raced to find a similar venue vibe that was in Hudson Valley and within our budget. We stumbled upon Le Chambord at Curry Estate. I am so glad that we did. The venue has an old world charm that has been renovated to feel fresh. Not to mention the Curry Sister's were amazing to work with, they immediately treat me like family, welcoming me every time we came to the venue and making sure there was refreshments and snacks. From the tasting to the actual event they were right there, ready to answer any questions and calm my bridal panic. The food was amazing and all of my guest til this day comment on how good it was and how great the service was. Looking forward to going back to the restaurant for dinner.

Planning a wedding in the middle of a pandemic was not something I ever thought I would be doing but the Curry sisters made the process so much easier and helped soothe my anxiety at every turn. They were wonderful start to finish; we booked the venue during our initial tour because Cathleen and Dawn were that amazing and location itself was gorgeous despite being under renovations. We worked with Cathleen and Dawn through the planning process and they were always responsive and attentive to our suggestions, wants/needs and all of our questions. When we finally decided to go through with our original date, with a reduced guest list, once restrictions were lifted they helped guide us through their protocols so we could ensure the safety of our guests and their staff. It made the process so much less stressfulThe day of the wedding the entire staff could not have been any more amazing than they were. I cannot express enough the level of service we and our guests received; people have told us that it was the best wedding they have been to by far. I would love to take credit for it but it was the Curry Estate team that made it all possible. The food was incredible, the staff was so attentive and on top of everything, none of wanted for anything the entire night. Antonio was our maître d and he was beyond amazing.There really is nothing negative to say about this venue and their team, they have put their heart and soul into restoring the property and it has only gotten better since we originally booked and then had the wedding. Honestly, I would recommend this venue to anyone and I hope to convince one of my friends to have their wedding there just so I can experience it as a guest!

Holy wow!!! The owners and the entire staff were just AMAZING!!! No kidding, AMAZING! I felt like once we parked in the lot I was in Narnia! I wish I knew the exact words to describe this place but I don’t. I just know that they truly made my day special and really handled everything with such grace and a massive smile on (literally) every employees face. They were so help and so quick with helping and doing whatever they can to go the extra mile for me and my guest. After the wedding I had so many of my guest ask how I found them because it was an anomaly how amazing every one was treated In the best way possible. I was the MOH of a wedding that was here this weekend and I have to just brag and shout out the staff and encourage you that you will NOT regret having your wedding here. The rooms are cozy, clean and comfy. The staff goes above and beyond and it’s clear that their attention is their guests experience. Everyone is friendly and adds to the environments atmosphere. The sisters truly care about the event. Prish was amazing and was our right hand women if the bride needed anything. They made getting ready the day of so pleasant, stress free filled with plenty of space and delish food! The reception was great and had amazing food. Shout out to the talented DJ empire sound. It truly was an incredible weekend and my husband and I can’t wait to book a weekend getaway here :)

Le Chambord was absolutely amazing. Every interaction we had with not only the owners, but the staff as well was delightful. With only a month to meet, plan and organize our big day due to a cancellation, Cathleen and Dawn were extremely supportive and always made sure we received a response to our questions. We were incredibly lucky to get such a beautiful venue on such short notice. With everything able to be on the grounds, it made all the difference on a stress-free day knowing that we were being properly taken care of. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was amazing and the customer service was refreshing. Teamed up with Antonio and the rest of the Curry women, everyone always greeted you with a smile and made sure you felt special on your big day. Can’t wait to visit again for some live music and dinner!!!
